Asura was both surprised, and very disappointed, when his skewers punctured the frogs skin with ease, making its croaker deflate like a wet fart. That must have hurt, all that broken skin flapping about. Before he decided to finish it he looked it over carefully, taking in its rubbery hide, the strong frog legs, the fact it could inflate to the size of Mother Slime. He'd examine it even more fully later on, right now he looked to the others.

Mother Slime and Steve were easily taking care of the other Frog. It seemed to be unconscious after Steve stared at it enough with that big eyeball. They could handle an unconscious opponent. "Mother Slime, try turning a limb into a blade on your next strike." He called over, showing her himself. His limbs fused into one great blade that was brought down on the Frog's tongue that was attacking Ardur. It was impossible to miss considering Ardur kept his footing and the Frog was pulling. A tug of war ended via a bladed limb.

Said limb rose up as he tried to cut into the frog. Trying to channel energy into the blade like he did with his Smashes. If there was a Smash, there Must be a Slash or Thrust type as well! System, Show Skill List. He thought as he watched the Frog he was attacking.
Kaze watched Claude talk to her camera with a dead-pan facial expression. When she turned it to him, wanting him to say something for people at home about himself, his eyebrow crept up slowly. "I'm a dragon and I ate all your princesses. Now why are you going on about Bigfoot? He's probably a mutant like us. Well more like me since I can't turn this off." He growled out.

For people who had looked into his history they'd have noticed he'd been the same. A non-human looking being living out alone in the forest. He only came to Safe Haven because he had been told there would be others like him. They hadn't explained that it was other mutants, he had been expecting other non-human looking people. He had been disappointed at the severe lack of such people. Sure there were a couple here and there but it didn't stave off the loneliness of being so rare. Was this how panda bears felt?
Kharne took note that some force had made the Butcher stumble. The others must be doing something, this was clearly not the usual plane of reality. This has to be a spirit plane of some sort. He thought as it righted itself. When it drew its arm back for a strike Kharne got ready. It telegraphed its attacks so much, was it that cocky? Or was it invulnerable in certain planes?

When it slashed for him he batted aside its attack with a flick of his sword. Even if it was stronger, a parry only took a fraction of someones strength. It was essentially using their own strength and balance against them. His wing lunged forward, the massive limbs clawed 'hand' was curled into a makeshift fist to plow into the Butcher's chest.
Asura kept an eye on the sky as he rolled along. His shell wasn't cooperating very well, but he'd have to keep it to get the Bond up. He tried to balance himself better before pulling up next to a tree for some form of shelter. Ardur was following behind, carrying what he could with Steve close behind. Mother Slime was furthest behind, lugging the rest of the deer carcass. Strangely for an explosion of that size most of the debris was wiped out. It sounded like only pebbles and smaller stones had flown. Damn magic... He thought.

"Well I over-reacted if that's all that flew... He muttered to the group. "But we're back in the forest, so might as well start looking for a new place that has more access to necessities..." He said as he looked at the others. "After you finish your project of course. My own didn't pan out too well." Asura continued just as three gigantic bug-eyed frogs hopped into the scene.

The inhaled and made themselves even larger as they approached. So Asura surged forward, trying to move his limbs as fast as he could to puncture the bloated frogs. Balloons popped easily, but that was latex, not living tissue. Would they pop if they got punctured? Or whizz around like a balloon let get instead of tied off?
Asura kept analyzing his work as he progressed. The pieces breaking didn't bother him. Stones were common, and if more deer showed up the bones would be just as common. How many bones were in a deer anyway? He'd figure that out later on. Fresh bones would make okay armor if they were secured well enough. Maybe attach them to a hide shell? Meh, either way, focus on what he had now not on what he didn't have.

He was taking note what his bile innards were doing to the bones. It seemed these wouldn't last long in his body despite not actively digesting them. The system let him know that since he didn't have a crafting skill, his end results would be poorer and unknown. Great, he'd just have to make things to know more and be better. Attaching some shard of stone that he had whittled into points to the jaw bone he spat it out. Blunt and piercing, potentially a decent saw-like tool. That was why he had been drilling holes into the underside of the jaw.

A little satisfied with his work he was about to say something to Ardur when the mountain decided to explode. He had just caught sight of something flying towards it before it exploded. "Alright time to move, go, go, go, go!" He exclaimed. Explosions had shrapnel. Giant explosions had giant shrapnel. So Asura did the smart thing and rolled his way down into the forest so the thick and dense trees would take on any flying bits and boulders. He so didn't care that Mother Slime almost cussed.

While he moved though he tried to make Stamina Furnace kick in. He was trying to 'over fill' his Stamina to potentially make that unknown amount grow larger. He was already a Stamina fiend for his level and 'age', but having more was better than having less since it was his only real energy resource.
While Asura worked with the skull, thinking over his experiences with it, he watched the other three. Mother Slime was draining the deer corpse of blood, probably trying to mimic what he did. But she didn't have his puddle-like nature to really push herself into the corpse. "Remember to save some of the meat, Mother. That's a big animal to eat." He said as he started to strip the muscles and meat from the skull. Trying to control the muscle fibers was clearly inefficient.

Adhering himself to the skull via Cling I would work. He knew exactly how to control his body, no guesswork on which muscle did what. While he moved about with the skull, making the jaw clatter a little as he did. Huffing audibly he detached the jaw and split it with a slash from a sharp pseudopod with at the tip of the bone. Given the nature of the deer teeth it could be used as a bludgeoning weapon. He could use it to enhance his own damage like Mother Slime had with the bone shards.

"We'll head back deeper into the woods in a bit. Plant fiber, more plentiful food, and other materials will be useful." He said as he checked the stones he held within himself. He took the one with the narrowest point and tried to use them to bore into the underside of one of the jawbones. Meanwhile he started to work on grinding the others together to sharpen them. Trying to give them an edge while using himself as the liquid.
Sorry for not posting yet, summer is murder for me x.x I work outside so my brain is pretty fried...
Asura subconsciously snatched the liver up within his gelatinous body to join the brain, eyeballs, and tongue of the bowhorn deer. "You'll need water sooner rather than later. Blood doesn't have enough water in it to sustain you for long." Asura stated, he was getting his liquids from eating everything. Plants were essentially crunchy water with various flavors after all. While the red slime toyed with the skull Ardur explained what he had done to Mother Slime.

Ardur started talking, which got the slime to make a red eyeball form on his body to show he was paying attention despite making the skull a Shell apparently. "Lucky him, I don't do praying or religion. You can do what you want if you're the religious sort." He said as the System told him the effects of the deer head had as a shell. "So, apparently I can have a shell like a hermit crab. But they have effects even unbonded. I'm tougher, but slower, which is a given considering slimes are not a strength based monster." He said to Ardur.

While he spoke he touched Mother Slime, letting her know in very basic mental speech what he had accomplished. It might help her considering she just had some major Blunt Resistance. But we'd need to find or make a suitably sized vessel if you chose to do this... He thought to her as he tried to accelerate his bonding with the skull. He checked every nook and cranny, even tried moving the jaw. First he just used himself, controlling what was hidden under the furred skin, to make the jaw open and close. If that seemed to work he'd start testing the muscle fibers to see if he could do it that way. He'd find which was easier eventually.
Blood showered down on him as he went up into the meat of its body, but he failed to pierce the skull from below. Still he absorbed the blood as it ran over him, making his body redden further. He knew this would help with his thirst, but he knew the group would have to find a source of water eventually. Especially for Ardur and Steve.

Speaking of Ardur, he dropped from the sky like a rocket and destroyed the deer spinal column. It dropped and had its death-throes before going still soon enough. It didn't take long for Mother to go and engulf an entire leg up to its shoulder. "Don't forget to share, Mother." Asura said as he reverted to his blob-like form. One pseudopod extended and he changed it to look like an Axe Head. He tried to make the edge hard so it can cut easier before he brought it down on the mammals neck to take its head off.

It wouldn't come off in one strike, his young body didn't have that kind of strength. He kept at it until he dislodged its head before turning his attention to Ardur. "If you need a blade let me know. I can make myself sharp but not like a razor." He said to the buff being. With his piece said he started to insert himself up into the chunk of neck and skull of the deer. Being as meticulous as he possibly could, wrapping himself around tendons and muscles, filling the largest veins, before trying to make the jaw move. Baby steps unlike his first attempt at a body suit. While he was at it he pulled all the blood from head and devoured the soft brain and eyeballs. It'd rot slower without blood, but eyeballs and brain were pure protein and cholesterol. Both insanely good for someone growing.
