Julius observed what the explosion had done to the shoulder. Just the outer plating getting fucked up and wrecked but still functional. So they were tanky, but not really super tanks. They just had the appearance of super tanks. Julius folded his hands behind his head as the robots transformed again back to normal and started to charge him. "You're severely underestimating me...that was just a small explosion, your typical grenades power." He stated as he dropped onto his back, avoiding the slashes before 'melting' into the shadow beneath him.

It was impossible to surround him since he could just phase into a shadow at literally any moment. It also helped he always expertly positioned himself to be standing in or next to another shadow no matter how faint it was. "Oh boy, you know our subject names and some of what we can do." He mocked, changing his tone to be as grating as possible. He zipped off and plopped out of the shadows in a dark corner, probably about twenty feet away from the robots.

While he'd love to go medieval on them, numbers trumped skill every day of the week. He'd have to play the game of cat and mouse... Although the puppeteer did give away that their heads contained cameras. But that could just be a plot to go head hunting. So Julius did the opposite of that and went for their bodies once more. The wounded ones joint bubbled up once more before an even larger explosion rocked its frame, the force was roughly about the same as an H.E. grenade.
The explosion had the force of a grenade o3o and I was unaware there was a discord
Iono if I'm just not being clear on how I'm making my attacks...but didn't throw in an explosive. He made a shadow at the shoulder joint between some of the plating bubble up and then explode to test their durability.

Julius watched how the robots reacted to the tendril of shadow. They each dropped and phalanxed, but seem to lack any form of projectile. Purely melee with a spear-like weapon and didn't seem to have any light making capabilities either. Three's vabors spread quickly enough through the facility, the only thing saving him was that he was already cloaked in Shadows. But it seemed her decay didn't seem to affect the robots very much.

So they know how to deal with her...what do they have to deal with me? He thought as he stretched out his arms and legs before cracking his back with a long lean. "You're clearly not fast, you can turtle well, undoubtedly strong just by the weight alone...so what can you do? He questioned out loud as he located and destroyed another camera with a blade of hardened shadow. No need to be putting on a show for the security, although standing in naked light while being a solid black was show enough.

Still, the thing about the robots were that they had shadows literally all over them. Every bump made a shadow, every ridge a dark crevice. Their insides also held shadows, but those were harder to access. But for now, another little test of the robots. At the shoulder joint a ball of black with reddish electricity popped to life and promptly exploded while wedged between the plating. Time for a durability test, he started with the explosive force of a grenade. More shadow meant bigger boom, he had only used some of what the shoulder generated from the lights.
I'm...not entirely sure how to respond to this post...Julius didn't attack, he tripped up the robot as it balanced on one foot midstep. Assuming it had gone down, because it's severely top heavy, he'd have attempted to rip the much more slender leg off...
Asura was midly surprised that he could change that particular quality of himself. The bugbear stepped in him and like gum he stuck and tripped the larger being to fall down. Watching as he caught himself on one hand that immediately got webbed by Steve. Well this would work nicely for larger and potentially more powerful foes. Stick them to the ground and then clobber their head and other vulnerabilities. Ardur came in and just curb stomped the bugbears knee after Mother Slime went across the bugbears face, so Asura released the leg.

But the reason the bugbear had run came up pretty damn quick. Asura tried to analyze the young human, elder human, and the bugbear to see their threat levels. Honestly he wondered if Rattleskull was just a power fluke because he ruled the cave. If all bugbears were high leveled he wanted to know, maybe find a way to grind them until they were 'grays'.

"Ardur...could really use that heal now..." He muttered as he moved further from the humans. Especially since the kid was moving closer slowly. "Mother Slime, get back to the burrow." He said as he shifted into a more humanoid shape, at least from a waist up perspective. He held his arms up and palms facing the humans. "It's yours if you want it. I've no desire to come against you lot." Asura stated, trying to use universal body language considering his tone was neutral.

Monsters could be strong on a base level like in games. But equipment always gave a boost of some sort, especially when quality was concerned. You could have two longswords, but the mastercraft will wipe the floor with the poor quality one. None of the monsters present save for the bugbear had any equipment. Well except Ardur's armor and a makeshift poker with a flakbeetle mandible. They'd be easy pickings for the platemail wearer. The youth could probably be taken down via teamwork. But that would be for much later. Assuming the group lived through this.
"System, monitor Health and Stamina. Full display." Asura said aloud, a hud would be nice. Or just a viewing without constantly having to check with the damn System. While he waited for that he started trying to metabolize the Poison working through him. He didn't necessarily have veins, nor real organs, so it stood that he should be able to just digest the poison that was staining his gooey bile.

As he played with that, and still trying to forcibly draw points out of skills he never put points into, he felt Mother Slime finally wallop him good. Which sent him bouncing and into a tree, probably for extra damage. But even still he didn't get a message about low hit points. Did his 'health bar' increase? Or were his defenses just that damn high at this point for mobs like M.S, and his group?

Still, no reason to chance it. "A Heal would be good Ardur, and maybe we should look for a water source. It seems I'm getting thirsty." He stated just before a crashing and rhythmic hurried footsteps came closer. "Make that a sooner rather than later." He said as a bugbear burst from the foliage. It was yelling for everyone to get out of its way instead of just trying to kill them flat out? Strange.

Asura purposefully got in his way, actually advancing, and tried to make himself stickier than he already was. When the Bugbear stepped in him he wrapped around the foot, up to the ankle, and tried to Cling as hard as he could to the ground. Holding onto each individual blade of grass, the dirt underneath, whatever his body could engulf to make the bugbear either STICK or TRIP.

After a moment more lights came on. Seriously? Who the fuck leaked? He thought angrily as he maneuvered quickly into a crevice. No matter how hard people tried they couldn't banish all the shadows in an area. But this was a good attempt. The music was instantly drowned out as he waited while the doors and windows sealed. Then the guards started to come out, mechanical automatons that looked to have thick armor.

[color=red][i]So someone leaked that Eleven and I would be on this mission...she can't fight something that will last against her Decaying. But they didn't seem to fully know what he could do, which was just as well. It all depended on his imagination honestly. While he sat there and thought for a moment before a cloud came through the vents. God damn it Eleven...there went the normies.

Sighing Julius came out of his shadow, but kept himself coated in it. Darkness didn't decay after all. A flick of his wrist and a blade of concentrated shadow zipped through the air and wrecked a camera that was swiveling towards him.. He repeated this while keeping ahead of the mechs with their beefy arm and spear. No need for anyone to be able to see him and establish that he had actually been here.

The robots however were another matter. Their upper bodies were huge as hell, but they had skipped leg day and looked to be incredibly feeble compared to their arms. He honestly didn't know how many of them there were per floor, but he could handle what he could see. Which was five of them patrolling in a patterned formation.

The blackened man with pure white eyes, a strange effect of his ability running, waved a hand lazily. A tendril of shadow, the robots own shadow actually, wrapped around its leg and pulled as it stepped. Making it fall down on its front. A twist and the shadow pulled the leg off from the knee down. Even on robots the joints would be the weakest spot. He only did this to one however just to see how the other robots would react to this little tactic. If they even had something to counter his strategy.

Julius cut his eyes over to Eleven and gave her a dull look. "You forget my Miracle. I also said relax, not calm down, you're making the humans tense." He stated before returning his attention to the two nameless soldiers. Why did the Church pair the two of them together? She was abrasive and fairly simple, always seeming to forget what he could do. The two soldiers could be excused, they clearly weren't briefed on anything important. Their eye roll got an eyebrow twitch of agitation, but he kept it back. Don't kill them yet.

Emphasis on yet.

Eleven went on a tangent, God she talked a lot. If she weren't 'Family' he'd have torn her jaw off by now to silence her. While the soldiers talked Julius ran his hand down his face and gave out a loud an exasperated sigh. "Discreet is what I do. There are shadows everywhere." He said as static came over the radio. Seriously? All the tech to make the Promised Children and no one could make quality radios? Such bullshit.

Well it was showtime, the two soldiers were getting ready. Eleven was scaling the building to get to the Hermitage after saying it being dinner time. Julius melted down into his own darkened shadow and zipped off over the edge and to the building. Every shadow was linked thanks to it being dusk. Unless someone was looking really closely at the shadows he moved through he was indiscernible.

Night time he was strongest, everything was a shadow or shrouded in darkness. Daytime he was 'weaker', having to think more about where he could perform his Miracle. This Hermitage was such a place with all the lighting inside. It was simple to slip under the door, but navigating the building was annoying because of how the lights were positioned. Still, he went as fast as he could to get to the security room this place undoubtedly had.

Julius had no issues with the cold right now. Thick boots, good overcoat, a form fitting gambeson on underneath, and insulated leather driving gloves. Not to mention a hood to block some of the Russian wind. His 'fighting gloves' were tucked away at the small of his back. Despite not feeling the cold very much it never hurt to be prepared! As he and #11 scaled the building he could hear someone muttering up top. Huffing he silently pulled himself over the edge in a strangely fluid movement.

Both Promised Children gave the soldiers a look. Julius' was alien looking considering those animalistic and wolf-like eyes. The soft-spoken one shushed up his comrade, who had badmouthed the pair, but he wasn't doing much better. #11 spoke, her voice dry and muffled, about letting her in there to just wipe out everything via her Decay. She seemed to slurp at the thought, probably drooling at the thought of eating people. Reaching out Julius placed a hand gently on her shoulder. The younger Child would know his grip well.

"Relax, Sister." He said, his voice strangely deep. It didn't match the package, he was a very athletic looking man and that voice sounded like it should be coming from a mountain! "She has a point on the explosives. Primitive, and they come tomorrow. We're here right now." He stated as he took his hand from Suty's shoulder and crouched down to look at the two soldiers.

"If there's no other option, then I'll zip in and scout out the place. Tell you how many security so we can all act accordingly. Julius continued, his eyes getting good and bright and his tone changing to something more friendly.
