Current Despite what Joker 2 would have you believe, the REAL Joker works for Nintendo. Check mate, Batman!

Okay but like seriously though, let's not tell Nintendo about this... About what, you ask? Exactly!

Some games make you feel like a hero, and others make you feel like you're playing a tree in the school play.

Alright fine. I could have images for my projects hosted on-site, but you gotta promise me you won't go snooping in there. There might be spoilers, y'know?

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

I'll work something up either on Friday or through the weekend.
Hoping that things don't get too out of hand...already people plan to burn the place down XD
Hey, that was self defense! XD

But I get what you're all saying. I did suggest we tone down the craziness, at least at the start (and especially after a chunk of plot was just explained to the group).

I'm not big on time today, so I'll hold off on a response for now.

"Yeah, it was," Cecilia agreed pleasantly, feeling much better since being splashed by Neric. "I was a bit worried at times, but we made it." She set her oar to the side as the canoe made its stop by the dock, sighing in relief that their first try at canoeing hadn't ended with them swimming to shore. Of course, she couldn't say it was a complete success until they had both safely disembarked. She looked to find James already securing the boat for her. "Thanks," she said appreciatively as she stood shakily before gaining more confidence. In her rush, she forgot to immobilize the canoe like she did at the start, a fact that occurred her after she had carefully stepped off onto the rigid wood panels. She reasoned that it would probably not be necessary and simply held out her hand to James, offering to help him out. "Need any help?" she asked with a more confident smile.
@LiegeLord
"Y-Yeah..." Cecilia agreed as she saw James return to his seat. A campfire never sounded so good and she couldn't wait to share one with him. She could imagine how cold James was feeling and didn't want them to linger. If this had happened during the winter or if the weather was significantly colder, she would have outright refused his jacket period. But as it stood, she felt like she owed him after this. But what could she do? A question for later, she decided. Cecilia picked up her paddle again, dipping its head into the water. "Okay, I'm ready when you are," she spoke up after a quick deep breathe. She was subtly appreciative that she was wearing the safety vest. And if nothing else, at least she needn't wonder about Neric's mischievous side any longer.
@KatherinWinter
I'm pretty sure James and Cecilia are on the return trip while everyone else is still heading to the other side. I may be wrong though.
@LiegeLord
Cecilia nodded feebly, relieved for the moment that she didn't tip the whole boat over just then. She wasn't outright angry with Neric, but she would have honestly preferred it if she was wearing her swimsuit at the moment. "Oh? J-James, what are...? Y-You don't have to do that...!" she insisted skittishly in a softer voice as he came close to her, her cheeks flushed as his jacket came over her shoulders. He was right, it did feel surprisingly warm, the warmth growing by the second. She let out a faint whine, not very happy that she was holding them up some more. At the same time, she tugged the ends of his jacket together over her vest, her oar secured on her lap. It was still very sweet of James to do this, a meager smile growing on her face. "It's alright... Thanks James," she meekly said. "Um... I think I'm ready to keep going..."
Viranti

Viranti didn't know what to make of the church before him. What would call for such an ornamented structure. Was it home to someone very pompous and important. Perhaps it belonged this God of Light Lucius himself? In which case, why should he bother with the Oracle herself when he could just talk with him directly? He no sooner put one step forward that he heard from behind the approach of an elderly man of military background given his attire. The dragon would just as soon ignore the man as he let him walk passed, not keen on strangers following him. "And what if I am, human?" Viranti responded flatly, waiting until the man was a good distance away before going into the church himself.
@Illium Vethelot

The well aged doors opened into a bright and imposing chamber of high stained windows and fixtures of various flashy materials. It took about a few seconds for Viranti to realize this wasn't the kind of structure where anyone actually lived in. At the very least, he couldn't imagine anyone making a home here. It was all very gaudy in his eyes, and prolonged exposure to this place for an extended period of time might just make him sick. He walked briskly about the room, trying to address the worshipers he found (less violently given he was developing a headache and they weren't outright running away). It took time, but he soon gathered that direct contact with the Great God and Savior Lucius was rare, and that the Oracle hadn't arrived yet.

And so the young dragonute chose a spot by the wall where he'd be less likely to be bothered and waited with his arms crossed and eyes closed. As the Oracle arrived, he could simply hear the varied footfalls and gear rustling of the gang accompanying her. Perhaps they were security, meant to guard her. It seemed like a possibility. But would they really start a fight here. He was even told that this was sacred ground and violence was not permitted here by one of the churchgoers for some reason. Yet at the same time, he himself got in and he had no qualms with setting the place ablaze if he saw fit, so these "people" could be just as destructive as him, which was a concern. And if the Oracle should be hurt or worse, there goes his only lead at getting home. He was acquainted with waiting and biding his time, but it always came hard for him and this was no different.
@LiegeLord
It was not too surprising that Cecilia couldn't tell the difference between a shark's fin and a dolphin's fin. However, she didn't have time to reflect on this new bit of experience, as Neric then splashed both her and James with water. Thoroughly shocked, she rose her arms along with the shaft of her paddle in a knee-jerk attempt at blocking the oncoming water, unsurprisingly unsuccessful as she was splashed, partially soaked. As she had suspected, the lake water was profoundly cold and she could feel it all the way through her clothes, the wind being knocked out of her so to speak. She gasped, her hands subconsciously and hurriedly over her upper arms. A split second later, she remembered her oar, which had started to drop into the lake. She outstretch her hand to reclaim it, grabbing hold of it just before it went beyond her reach, the boat rocking considerably before settling. Cecilia gripped her paddle close to her chest and tighter than ever, her heart racing. "I think so..." she ended up saying in a small, trembling voice.
@LiegeLord
Cecilia nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I guess we can do that." It was a reasonable suggestion and well worth her consideration as she readied her oar, setting it down on the same side of the canoe that James set his down, their combined paddling turning their vessel around and facing the way they came. With James at the front, Cecilia again began to harmonize her rows with his, finding it a little easier than when they started. As the motions became more natural to her, her mind wandered. Stargazing was something she herself enjoyed, but she knew it probably wasn't everyone's idea of fun. Cecilia could just hear the counselors shoot the idea down in unison. If it wasn't for James, she would very likely just let it go. She smiled warmly, supposing it's just another way he's making her time here all the more special.
I'll see about posting sometime tomorrow.
