I think I have my writing confidence back. Feels like centuries since I could string together sentences.

Vindication comes, so too does peace of mind as I close one chapter and open a new one.

Sometimes I lie awake dreaming of being as consistent in this hobby as I was ten years ago.

Hi. I'm a role-player/writer who has spent over twenty-one years in this hobby.

I will pretty much write anything as long as my partner is cool with my inconsistent posting pace and momentum. I'm pretty sociable and I make dumb jokes all the time. My favorite things to write is capeshit, anime, space operas, horror, and slice of life/mundane drama. My writing level leans toward minimalism, but I try to give my partners/groups more than enough to work off of. I like to think I am pretty flexible.

I like cinema, music, and animation just as much as I like writing with people. My biggest hobby after writing is pop media analysis. Ask me questions or for suggestions and I'm sure to have something for you. 😎😎😎

@TGM Julii was cool, sure. I literally stole it from Julius Ceasar's family - but it didn't respect the Color Naming Convention of Rwby, did it not? I wasn't aware of it until I read on the Wiki that names are made to make you think of a color. And mine didn't. Though after writing the character and picking her weapon I felt like Silver was her color for some reason. Silver or Red.

@LadyAnnaLee I'm sad to see it go! Argent could have been a basic enough names that we could have seen multiple, but also it's fine. Sorry for stealing it. I read too fast and must have skipped it !

Well there's plenty of legends/folklore/fairytales in naming conventions, too. Artemisia made me think of a color due to the well, flower, so it worked.

The Argents could have also been related, albeit distantly or whatsoever, but all connections should be worried about once the roster is finalized not before I think.
I'll probably make a discord channel on my server shortly as well. I'll do a bulk of networking through there. I decided not to create one earlier since we don't know who is sticking around, etc.
@LadyAnnaLee It seems I stole the name given to Goldie when I created Artemisia, without realizing! Would you prefer I change it, or is that fine with you? It could lead to some interactions in game.

Edit: @TGM I edited Artemisia's Tangibles, too !

It's also Lien, not Lein. But you know GM semantics.

Good to hear. If you guys can't sort out the Argent thing, Julii was pretty good, just saying. :)

It was about what Vos expected. Not what she could’ve predicted, but it was about what she expected.

Men like the Senior didn’t work in the flesh; they sat behind big monitors and orchestrated operations. They were cowards, but most criminals who didn’t enjoy being the muscle were on some level. Vos didn’t like face-to-face and her endeavors with her father made sure that all of the social parts of the business went through him. Well, until recent events had Vos looking over her shoulder every city block. Her father had operated out of the Midwest, so the new scenery was comforting enough, but in the biz you were never too comfortable. People who got comfortable got got, as her father used to say. Always keep an ear open and trust no one; respect and trust were not exclusive in their line of work.

For the time being she opted at staying quiet, not wanting to interject. There was a lot of mystery surrounding their “boss” and the fact he had pulled from exclusively female clientele to make his team was interesting enough. Vos wasn’t sure if it was a fetish or they were the most efficient options out there that’d listen to such a ridiculous mission statement. Had the young woman not been too desperate herself she may not have listened.

Unfortunately, I already have like thirteen applications and I closed off new ones recently.

I've already got a semi-final list of people figured out barring the three CS's that haven't been posted yet (Cello, Luft, Stalfos). Looking at pretty interesting dynamics.
Three Days to Go.
Ah, alright.

Would a half-orc be alright instead?

This town has a potential crowd of birdpeople, catpeople, and a whole swath so I don't see why not. Probably one of the rare people in the town, though. Ardenfeld was predominantly human, but that's not a huge factor for MCs. :)
I take it there isn't any more room for a bird character.

Traditional application process. I'll accept the four (or maybe five if I feel like I want to DM a five-man) sheets I like on Saturday.
Yeah Genasi seems like a tad bit of a fetch, I'd think Gowi would say - though of course I don't speak for her. She also does not like Genies apparently so there's that xP

Also I'm sure fire magic definitely wont trigger ptsd in any of our party members. Not at all..

I don't dislike genie/djin, I just don't know how to design that patron for players who pick warlock. That said, genasi might be a bit too exotic for the setup of Ardenfeld even with it being a more welcoming townstead of multiple ways of life.

Are we using the Feats from Tasha's Cauldron?

What feats were you curious about? Anyway, once we incorporate feats I might allow them, yeah.
