Seeing how Guildmaster Bart acted, she only kept a low head and acknowledge his decision. "Good night and rest well."
Hearing Reed ribbing her gently on her comment, she only grin and cheekily replied. "Haha, a missed opportunity then. I was looking to defenestrate someone."
"I'll try to talk to Guildmaster Bart tomorrow," Yang said as she pats Haley shoulder with her hand to assure her. "For now, let him stew it out a bit."
"But yes! Come, sit and get ready to eat! All of you! The sisters are still cooking and I'll be glad to help!" Taking to the change of topic quickly when Reed asked for dinner, she ushered all of them into dining hall seats before going back into the kitchen to continue cooking and serving the food out.
Yang however did set aside a small portion of it enough for a single person, when the Altissima sister ask about it, Yang will reply. "That's for Guildmaster Bart, hopefully, he takes some of it."
Once done, Yang will serve the food to everyone. She herself was feeling a lot better as she had eaten just before the rest of the guild came back.
Then to finish it, she took Bart portion, went upstairs, headed towards his room and knocked gently.
"Guildmaster Bart, I have left some food outside your door." Yang said before placing it down. Whether he took it or not, Yang will leave it before heading back down to join everyone.
Sighing, Yang thought to herself that she's definitely not going to take on any more Varjo jobs if she can help it.
"I'll head out, you just keep them coming!" After cooking and assisting the sisters, Yang volunteered to serve the food despite her exhausted state.
Her feet shuffled in a practiced form of footwork, allowing her to nearly glide across the floor easily as she delivered the food to the table with much gusto.
"Alright! Foods here, eat up and stuff-Why the sudden seriousness?" Yang asked as she noted the sudden tense air between her guild master and sir Reed. Hearing on the tail end of the conversation.
But getting a short story of it, giving Yang a moment of introspection as she analyzed why before coming to a simple conclusion.
If Guild Master Bart didn't want conflict, as well as getting the Order's attention, housing an Ortusian would indeed send mixed signals. Then there's also the high possibility that Bart own experience was less than...pleasant if he was willing to confront and let it spill in front of Reed.
Looking at the whole situation and how it'll probably spiral, Yang can only sigh before coming to a choice.
"Guildmaster Bart, if Sir Reed is to part from us, at the very least, can you tell your reason of dismissal of Ortusian?" Yang inquired from Bart. More for the sake of the guild. She didn't take sides, knowing the last time she tried that, it didn't help.
If Bart didn't want or disliked Reed, then there's little she can do to dissuade him. Better to let both sides air their grievances and then part ways from there on.
Turning to Reed, she gave him a bow. "If you're to depart, then at least do so with a filled stomach. As payment for bringing and aiding our guild members back."
"I second that motion." Yang relaxed, her shoulders dropping and feeling particularly proud of herself for distracting him with a completely different matter.
Admittedly, she also felt guilty but as it is, that's a problem for another day.
Hearing the Altissima sister asking for their help couldn't be better, she immediately followed their lead eagerly.
"Of course, let this humble one be of help to the two of you!" With that proclamation, smile and a skip in her steps, Yang will help in most of the physical tasks in cooking, aiding, and cutting ingredients. Shrinking a lot of the effort down for the sisters to make dinner for everyone in time.
Once that was done, Yang encouraged everyone to have their share of dinner. Helping out to serve the food as well and returning to her usual positive self. "Come! Eat up! Nothing beats a good meal after a day's work!"
Ditzy in the meantime, have taken a bath and went straight to sleep. Retiring for the night.
Known Aliases: Messer, Blatt Meister, that fucking loony with a hardon for swords (Courtesy of the Brooklyn Police Commissioner).
Appearance: A man that's into his late twenties with blonde short hair with his hair line past the eyes, giving the impression his eyes are covered. Standing at 181 cm with a wiry but incredibly toned body. Clean shaven before but sporting a short beard now due to his imprisonment. A normal looking prisoner that would've fit in most heavy prison, if one ignore that his hands are forever cuffed together alongside a heavy chain ball to each of his ankles. A single one nearing 200 KG, totaling to 400 kg pieces of metal being dragged by him.
Psyche Profile: Remarkably well-behaved, straight-forward, and taciturn compared to the other rowdy prisoners but the warden knows better due to his background. Prisoners that are strong, or decent enough for Meier standards are often challenged by him. Solely for the thrills or overcoming himself to be stronger. Five or four inmates that lacked the sense to refused was demolished brutally, since then, not many dared to take up on his challenge.
Which is the most problematic aspect of Meier, even before his imprisonment, Meier continued this streak of violence all across Europe, then Asia, before finally being arrested in New York City. All of it followed the same pattern, fight after fight, ranging from gangsters, mafias, local enforcement, assassins, army, guerillas and even super-heroes.
A sole dedication, perhaps even insanity, to seek nothing but strength.
Background: Körbl Meier was raised in Germany, Dinkelsbühl. Born into a small family with him being the only son. An odd, perhaps tragic fate, was that Meier family line was blessed with wisp of power from gods, or aliens, perhaps one or the other.
Regardless of its source, it granted Meier an increase of physical prowess and capabilities to recuperate from his wounds much faster. Nothing as fantastical as other villains or heroes that could outright regenerate a limb, Meier was able to recover much faster compared to normal humans.
This was what allowed his father to be a teacher of historical sword fighting techniques. One that tried to stay true to its roots for practical combat, and had seen some limited uses amongst the army for a way to suppress and restrain others. Studying it from young by his watchful and earnest father, Meier took to it like fish to water. At a young age, he was close to rivaling his father.
Yet what was the point of an art dedicated to war without war?
This gnawed at Meier, eating him inside out until it all came to a point where Meier slew a gangster that held a gun, threatening to shoot him and a local shop owner. Using nothing but a knife, Meier ripped the gangster in half. It took barely any effort for him to end a life but the overwhelming sensation of victory, triumph and enjoyment was...liberating.
Since then, Meier left his home behind to seek out nothing but ways to test himself with his sword and body. Each one feeding into his desire to hone himself to become stronger, faster, more skilled. To reach the pinnacle of swordsmanship and beyond. Europe, Asia, and then America, it all came to a point where he was bested when a far stronger hero overpowered him as well as breaking his swords.
Despite this defeat, Meier never stopped looking outside of the world. Hoping one day for another rematch. After all, he finally found the challenge he so wanted.
Why would he stop now?
Skills, Talents and Learning: His numerous brush with opponents with guns, blade, blunt weapons, rods, and rare high-tech weapon had given Meier a strong sense of survival instinct and trained body as well as being swordmaster without any peer,. Capable of wielding the small humble messer, to the two handed ones. Epees, falchion, rapier, zweihanders. Even mundane weapons like the small box-cutter blade, butterfly and kitchen knife in Meier hands turns into a deadly instrument. If not because of his villainous action, he would've been the undisputed sword champion for decades to come.
Power(s) and Capabilities: Demi-god or Terrestrial constitution: Meier body was much stronger than with no muscular loss and allowing him to push it beyond the limits. He had went from a regular human to being able to tussle with low-ranking super-heroes easily, combined with limited self-regeneration that always keeps his body to its peak. This elevated Meier speed and strength to the point anyone outside of superheroes often be beaten easily. Even mid-tier heroes had to be wary of Meier physical power before taking account of his sword capabilities.
Power Limits: Despite this seemingly unending growth, it's still a slow climb and further efforts to push past his limits had been slow. He had been at a plateau for years before his defeat, hence why he had to fight someone that was way beyond his power. Expert estimated that it would've taken twenty years or longer to push past his current body. Keeping him at a known level at least for now.
Known Vulnerabilities: Tear/stun/flash grenade, sleeping gas, tranquilizers, poison, chemical or biological attack all work well on Meier as despite his strength and speed, he is still very vulnerable to attacks to the senses. Restraining him, while requiring many personnel sacrifices, electrocution and cables, works just as well.
Motives: To once again fight the hero that defeated him and stand at the pinnacle of strength and swordsmanship. After wading through so much blood and bones, he had finally found the high peaks of super heroes and villains. That there are still bigger fishes that he can fry. There's no way he'll sit by and rot.
Perhaps he'll die in the process ignobly, chasing a fools dream but for Miere, it was more than worth it to break free from this cage.

Recommended Containment Procedures: - Do not allow any objects within subject that can be used as weapon. - increase weight of cuffs and ball periodically before the body can adapt to it. -Inmates of known strength, combat or myriad abilities are to never come in contact with subject. Last altercation with another inmate had occurred and ended within less than a second. Weaker subjects are allowed but still under heavy observation, guards with nets, fast acting tranquilizers, tasers should be close by. - His cell are to be flooded with gas immediately should subject attempt escape -There are no keys for subject cuffs, it's to be rivetted and locked in place by welding to restrain arm movement.
Notes: Subject is known to read plenty of books and likes to paint. Only known time where subject is extremely cooperative with the guards and warden to gain access to painting supplies. Everything is to be tallied and check at the end.
Finally getting the person over his shoulder, Ditzy quickly latched onto Nagare. The moment they took off, Ditzy felt every ounce of his strength fade away. Making him leaned over and face pressed flatly on top of Nagare scales. Feeling completely drained and burned out.
Still, the last scenery of seeing the sunset was beautiful at least as Ditzy slumbered for a while.
Then when they finally stop and land on the ground, that woke Ditzy up as he looked around briefly and stumbled from Nagare. Leading him fall upon his back with a painful thud.
"Ow." Ditzy said out of habit rather than actual pain, clearing the dirt out of his hair and looking absolutely wrecked. Since most of the fight he had was all ground fights.
"Okay. Come back for dinner." Ditzy lazily waved as he entered the house. His weapon was half-dragging behind him in tow.
Opening the door without ceremony, Ditzy was greeted by everyone standing around Bart. Shaking him up from his droopy eyelids.
For the others, they're greeted by Ditzy who's in an absolute mess. Dirt covered him completely, his pants was dirty and small holes can be seen from the seams. The usual energy that Ditzy had early in the morning was all gone as he couldn't even raised himself straight or even smile.
"Hey, caught man, lost against monster. Ditzy tired, Ditzy go sleep." He summarized it to Bart before heading to his room for a bath and sleep.
After that, Ditzy slumbered without a single disturbance. Being done for the day.
Yang kept her breath slow, readied and schooled her face for her report...
Only to be met with no one but Guildmaster Bart, taking her by surprise completely as he was alone.
But that cannot be, she was sure that she heard armored boots. Her breathing picked up as she looked around.
"I just...heard more footsteps and thought there'll be more guests." She recovered quickly and bowed her head forward for Guildmaster Bart return. "But for our jobs, me and Kira finished ours without much fuss. Also we had some earlier guest of monster girls consistent of mices and insects. It seems they're freeloading from us."
Hopefully, that last part would distract him more even as Yang focused her ears and sense to find any presences aside from Bart.
Though a heavy thud from far had her body tense, it seems more new presence had arrived. Her hair stood at the back of her neck as she looked at the door, wondering just who was the new presence as the door slowly turned.
Only to reveal Ditzy, absolutely tired and dirty, dragging his feet the whole time as he barely acknowledged them and headed up to sleep.
"Don't skip dinner too often." She warned but Ditzy didn't listen and just headed upwards to his room.
Ditzy managed it, somehow, Ditzy despite in his exhausted state managed to win once again.
But of course, since Ditzy was the strongest.
By the time he let go and quickly scramble to the fight, catching the tail end of Reed somehow managing to take down the Ogre easily by pinching the neck.
Ditzy wondered if Reed was willing to teach that to him.
As they moved out, Ditzy suddenly recall the entire mission and why they're here.
"Wait!" Ditzy quickly scramble to the luggage train as fast as he can, then quickly finding their target that had been kidnapped. Thankfully, it didn't take long since it was prob the only male in their train.
Lugging him like a sack of potatoes, Ditzy quickly hobbled as fast as he can before gesturing to Reed.
"Okay! Now leave!" Ditzy said, ignoring the protest and muttering of both monster girl and the man he's carrying.
It'll be bad if they can't finish the mission after all the trouble.
"Hmm." Yang nodded off, not really caring too much about it. Freeloaders that she didn't even realized existed being invited for dinner and asked to leave seemed unlikely.
Oh well, if they came back, then she'll put them to work even if it's just household duties or just tidying things up.
Giving their goodbyes to them, Yang stretched her arm and yawned. Hoping to get to bed.
That's when the sound of hooves coming outside but the noise that snapped her attention the most was the clanking metallic sound. Her expression changed immediately all traces of exhaustion left her, adrenaline spiking and coursing.
"Kira," She gestured for her to come, the implication clear as she lead the way to the front. Hoping that the worse news didn't come.
Otherwise...
Yang slammed her fist together out of habit, the metallic prayer beads ringing together as she went to greet Guildmaster Bart.
