The details of the abilities may differ due to lore, but the mechanics and goals of the games are the same. This isn't a knock against it, though, because I'll definitely play Marvel Rivals when it releases.
That's because it is 100% a reskinned Overwatch in every single way.

Still looking for one: as it turns out, there really aren't that many DC characters I care about.

I've got you. You can thank me later.

He's due to change that he's just been LAZY

But him being blue was the only reason I liked it...
Anywho... very subtly changing the topic here, what's everyone's thoughts on Superman being blue? That's super weird, right...
(Flash is also always down to clown if someone wants to do something)

Ew. No.

There's not too much in the way of magical/supernatural in the accepted roster so far but I was considering S.T.A.K.E. in its infancy through the lens of a jaded veteran S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, who spearheads the new division as weirder phenomenon around the globe starts to outpace S.H.I.E.L.D.'s understanding of mutants and meta-humans, ultimately recruiting certain individuals and building out his department into a legitimate branch of the wider organisation. This could then interact with anyone who is involved with the supernatural (so far only really looking like Allblade and Jack Hawksmoor).

The FF have some magical foes I may have them come across once things are established.
Somehow you've made Xavier older than Sir Patrick Stewart himself. The man's going to turn to dust before the Shadow King gets a chance to mess with him.
If Snape is involved, does that mean we can app Dumbledore now?
Anyone have any X-Men (as a team) shaped ideas on deck?

Looks like both mutant characters aren't related to X-shenanigans. Though the premise in the OP says that Xavier has been a presence for forty-ish years.
