Ardur The Pixie
Oooo Shiny >>>> A New Friend? /// day 8 // Morning > Afternoon

The pixie found the work moving hot coals taxing and painful. Using what was left of the burnt sticks to brush away cinders and ash were he could. Honestly Ardur was unsure as to why his instincts were telling him to go after the shiny things. He also found some trouble stopping and pulling himself free of the task to check his surroundings.

Figuring he might as well practice his new healing spell as he continually healed the small burns on his purple hands. But as he was diligently working something made him jump for a moment as another voice chimed up from behind him.

“Have you come back to join the winning team? We're gathering all the humans of the cave to try to keep safe.” The blue floating orb spoke from behind him. It didn’t look aggressive. However, the wisp might be interested in the same thing he was digging for.

For a moment Ardur didn’t move or speak, just sort of stood there analyzing the creature before him. “I think I’d call it more of a group then a team. All you did earlier was throw yourselves into the Frey and hope for the best.” He paused for a moment thinking what he said might come off as rude. “But I’ll join your group if you don’t mind. I do want to find out what this thing is first though. Also, Crispy and the female goblin should be getting to the other goblins soon, so we should work quickly.”

The pale pixie had a few noticeable details about him, green shoulder-length hair was almost a sharp contrast to his pale white skin. His hands were colored purple up to his wrists, and he had three small black circles on his chest and back as if he was shot through and through. Other than the green leaf like wings and near golden eyes the wisp would be quick to notice that the pixie wasn’t wearing any clothes and didn’t seem bothered by it.

Then Ardur decided to do something he hadn’t done since he woke up here, he began to sing.

“Follow the path

To where no one's ever been

Don't turn around

Until you reach the end

Across the sea

And beyond the distant lands

The world awaits

So don't make any plans

There you go, There you go”
Ardur continued to work while he sang. He did this to try to help him relax a little while also trying to get himself to work more efficiently. Something he remembered doing while he was working long shifts back home. The pixie was also unsure as to why he was just now noticing a few others around them as well. "Was I really that tunnel visioned?" He thought.

@Xandrya might as well make a post. worst thing that could happen would be stuff posting and then all you would have to do is a little bit of rewriting to make it fit.
Ardur The Pixie
The New Mount Is Feisty >>>> Oooo Shiny /// day 8 // Morning > Afternoon

Ardur was honestly caught off guard when the menu popped up in his head. He did remember something about the lesser flight from earlier in the day but to actually achieve levels was something almost entirely alien to him. Not once did he believe that there were even levels to be had or worked towards. He hadn’t killed anything but it did say something about survived dangerous encounters. Perhaps it was just faster to level by killing things like in video games back home or this was the only way to level? More experimentation was needed.

Ardur continued to mentally go through the list of features available to him. By the looks of the unusable skills it must be the skills he hasn’t gotten up far enough yet. And here he had 5 points to spread out as he saw fit. With this the pixie put 4 ranks into Lesser heal II to hopefully bring it up to Lesser Heal III and put the last skill point into Taming bringing it up from (0.3) to (0.4) how fun it will be to have Steve as a pet. Was the only thought that came to mind from this. But seeing how physical conditioning was only a point off the small pale pixie decided to work on it instead of acquiring it right away.

After spending all his points and remembering what skills were at what level, the pixie returned to his study of the goblins below. Taking in careful consideration of their physical features and weak points that he could find. The pressure point he had hoped to use didn’t seem too effective and even with the injury to the goblins eye he could only hope that whatever it was that the goblin placed in Crispy’s eye wasn’t going to be able to heal him. Ardur would spend several more minutes watching the duo before they kept up their pace toward the cave entrance.

Feeling content with the goblins and the way they were going. Ardur didn’t hang around or follow them, the ceiling was getting lower, and he knew he wouldn’t be able to hide from them forever. With this in mind, the pixie began flying back toward the goblin camp being sure to strain and flex his muscles to try to get the conditioning skill up to that final point. This however did make him a little slower, but he didn’t find it too troublesome to get back to the goblin camp.

He was trying to figure out if he could find ash or one of the others he had worked with the other day. If none could be found Ardur knew he could always go back up to the larger crystals in the ceiling and practice his magic more. Finding a small perch overlooking the fire and some cave Ardur noticed a few interesting things.

For one the fire had finally died down to hot coals and something seemed to be hidden under them, something blue. The other interesting thing other than the amount of dead goblins around was what looked like a rather large slime and a few others by or in the pool. He doubted he would have been able to see them if the fire was still going strong. So with this in mind Ardur would decide to go through the pain and discomfort of moving hot coals with nothing but his hands and new heal spell and see what was so shiny underneath these coals, while still keeping an eye out for predators. He might be compulsive, but he isn’t all that stupid, at least he hoped.

@Jangel13 cuse who needs friends when you can make your own.
@Jangel13 that sounds pretty cool. I didn't really want to pull Gird to far away from the physical fighter he is but I think magic or becoming fear itself would be awsome.
... it also doesn't help that I don't truly grasp the magical side of this world either. that being said perhaps the were wolf tree isn't what I should be going for and instead something different? still animal but more monster maybe? probably wouldn't meld into necromancy then but do want to keep with the animalistic savagery of things.

@Jangel13
@Jangel13

... well when you put it that way.
@Jangel13

well when it coms to evolutions and possible ideas for rare or uncommon variants due to blessings, curses, skills, ETC. my main focus for evolutions so far has been specifically the current evolution path I'm focusing on with gird being the were wolf. with this in mind I think your idea with changing the physical characteristics of the character based on their blessings (I.E. Gina's vine hair and earthly appearance / Girds pale skin and sharp claws.) are a good choice to continue with as long as they don't fall out of favor with their patron deity.

with that said and concerning Girds current path having him slowly gain more skeletal features with an air of death around him while also having something to do with peace and rest. killing for the sake of death and survival would be one thing, killing just to kill would be another and not what gird believes would benefit his goddess. now with the physical features like I said gaining more like a natural bone type of armor would be cool. that combined with more sunken in eyes and pale skin to give the impression of undead without giving the appearance of like a zombie but more like a skeleton. while keeping to the animal side of things.

being described as a monster or abomination wouldn't be something that gird would care about. maybe having some form of basic necromancer magic begin as well with more of an affinity towards animals and monsters then humanoids. possibly being able to see or interact with spirits of some kind like the others?
@Crusader Lord hmm looks like he rushed his post a little. but what I can tell is Luz wants to agro the spider while you two attack its sides. Im guessing the part about the spear is because luz thinks they might need to trade off weapons while attacking the spider perhaps?
Sounds more like bright, but interested.
