Not exactly? Haha. The basic idea is that Magicorp employees are sent on 'assignments' to take care of monsters that appear throghout the world, but when they aren't on duty they are working in a corporation to keep up the appearance they are normal people.

I’m open to the possibility. The gimmick is that the wizards have survived because they can pass as normal humans. I imagine human-like races could be involved as well, but they’d have many more safety precautions than just “don’t use magic”

Well Futaba also has Lovecraft stuff going for her as well so you can use that as a base. Personally I think Dr. Herbert West could be good since he’s a lovecraft character from the same universe.

Actually changing my idea because I had something better!

Persona: Leviathan
Personality: created from the “Hermit” Arcana, Leviathan represents living a life in solid tide akin to the bottom of the ocean. However, this solitude was not without its benefits as Leviathan has come to be revered as the master of the Deep. When “awakened” the Leviathan whips up storms to empower its wielder.

Ultimate Form: Jormungandr the World Serpent. The biggest creature to prowl the oceans, and one day fated to swallow the world whole.

(In addition, Jormungandr is said to be constantly “asleep” due to its fated prophecy to destroy the world when it wakes during Ragnarok, so the awakening would be a cool double meaning in this case)
