Personality: Alana's a person who goes by her own rhythm. Straightforward and strong willed, she doesn't like to beat around the bush and always tells what's on her mind, often in an very sarcastic manner. Never does she acts in subterfuge, she's as direct as they come. She's also extremely affectionate when it come to physical interaction, but it's just that - Physical interactions. She does tries to get close to people psychologically. Friendship is a rare concept for her and more often than not she's willing to cut off or limit her friendships if she's feeling that they are growing more than what she's comfortable with.
If there's one thing she absolutely hates and fears at the same time, it's love. Not feeling any of it while growing up and then being burned by it, has left her with immense fear and trauma about it. It's not that she's incapable of love, quite the opposite, she just loves too strongly that the very same love is what can hurt her the deepest.

Biography Since her earliest memories she never knew her parents. From the very first time she could remember, she's been alone at one of the many orphanages. It was a rather bleak life for her, thrown from institution to institution. As she grew up, she was a child distanced from all around her. She was quiet and detached child, making others stay away from her. Alana also didn't get along with the orphanage workers and then her temporary foster parents.
She escaped from the institutions from the age of 8 and lived on the street since then. Mainly as a pickpocket. While growing up she understood well that she was different form the others. She wasn't normal and that feeling grew ever more as she grew older. Alana at first hated herself, but then started hating her unknown parents. They had abandoned her, left her to fend for herself without nary a guidance. She started working for a gang around the age of 10.
It was at that gang that she first learned how to fire a gun. They taught her a lot of things, mostly bad things. Around this time she fell in love for the first time. It was a new exciting emotion for her. She had never felt like this and it overpowered all her instincts. She felt her love so strongly that she did anything for her loved one, despite feeling it was one sided. There were more than enough signs of it, but in the end the person whom she loved that betrayed her.
One night she overheard them telling the others in the gang that he had killed someone and they needed a scapegoat. She was that scapegoat. He even boasted how she was surely ready and willing to do it for him. After all, he had strung along her feelings from the very start. It was useful to have a obedient tool and what's more naive than a child?
That revelation nearly broke her. That very night, she stole his gun while he slept and pointed it at him. In the end she didn't pull the trigger. She had worse in mind. She, a child armed with a gun, fled into the night, but not before calling the authorities on where the killer was.
After that she just wandered for a bit, but was noticing more and more weird stuff around her. She was almost 13 at this point. One night while sleeping at an abandoned building, she was woken by the sounds of something inhuman. She never saw quite what it was as she fled as fast as her legs allowed her to. She actually fired at it, but from the sounds she got, she had only made it angrier.
At the very end as whatever was chasing her, was about to get her, something... someone appeared and beat the crap out of it. She was stunned as a man or rather part man appeared before her, spinning a crazy tale about her origin. After a while she recognized his appearance as a satyr from stuff she's read on the internet on video games and stuff. With nary an option on what to do, she agreed to go with him to a place called Camp Half-Blood or something like that.
How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: Alana has been at the camp for 6 years now. She was claimed rather fast, but that did not change her impression on her supposed mother. She still disliked her... maybe even hated her. They never spoke to each other and Alana didn't even want to meet.
At the camp she joined the Dining Pavilion and weirdly enough found it much to her liking. Somehow cooking calmed her and she also enjoyed it well enough. Besides she preferred it over something else that could be way bothersome and physically stressing. The only thing she enjoyed more was actually training her skills and taking care of her weapons. Proper maintenance meant trusty weapons. That way at least her weapons would never betray her.
