WARCRAFT
War of the Ancients

Prologue

The wrongness of the world struck as soon as your arrived on the shores of Northrend. An ancient power far greater than any mortal knew was at work here. Something greater than the Lich King, greater than the combined might of all the armies gathering in the north! The world felt odd and twisted as one got closer and closer to the anomaly. To those that felt the energies radiating around it, the picture was even more apocalyptic. Time was being unwound around it. Past, present and future all twisted and then tossed around like leaves into a storm. The anomaly was a huge funnel... a vortex that swallowed everything around, even time itself.

Then by the time it was too late to react to it, the realization struck, it was moving. Erratic and with unknown purpose it expanded and contracted, chased after everything living that approached it, tearing nad twisting and erasing them from this very world. It's pull too strong to escape, there was no other choice, but to be consumed. No manner of strength or magic could free you once it had you it's grasp. In a brief moment everything ended. Being swallowed by this monstrous anomaly, this wound in time and space, there was no usually hope for survival, but something happened... Suddenly you were on the other side. A little battered and worse for breath, but alive non the less. There was no trace of the anomaly, just a beautiful night sky, gentle wind and beautiful forests and plains as far as eye could see. You were alive, but... where?

Chapter I: The Well of Eternity

Shaken and battered from the vortex, people have been thrown out at some twisted rhyme and reason and unlikely allies have found themselves. The vortex gathered people and some of them arrived at locations together, others separate, some may arrive later or were forever lost in the anomaly. For now two groups of survivors have appeared. Location: Edge of Grand Plain and Forest(???)

Group one: Heda and Fabios. Thrown out at the edge of a forest, at one side a huge nearly unpassable forest and at the other a grand plain. The moon's light is bright and the surroundings could be seen rather well even without low light vision. The two are in clear view of one another, as if the vortext put them next to one another on purpose. Ancient Forest(???)

Group two: Ivaron and Quiana. The two of you have been thrown with great force in the middle of an ancient dense forest. Trees taller than most you've seen, the forest is dense and light can barely pass through the heavy folliage of the trees. You two are some distance from one another, hidden in darkness, but within hearring range. If one of you calls, the other will hear. Neither of you know the other's there right away though.

(Locations are currently unknown past obvious traits, so don't freak out quite yet. More will be told as you realize it.)

Heda Runeclaw

Location: Ancient Forest(???)

Heda groaned in pain as she slowly came to her senses after the violent impact earlier. When she appeared her... whereever this was, she had appeared in the air like 6 meters up and fell down on her back on the luckily soft soil and grass. Still it didn't mean she was completely out of pain. At first the hit had taken the air out of her lungs, but she slowly calmed down and with heavy breathing scrambled up to a sitting position. Her enchantment was negated so she was in her real size.

Finally getting onto a sitting position she saw an unfamilar scene. It's not that she had seen all nightly forests and plains, but this one was a little bit different despite she herself unable to put her finger onto why that was. For one she didn't recognize the general location, but with it being night, she couldn't also navigate from the mountains in the distance. She had a knack for remembering locations via points of interest and mountains were such points." Ughh..." She mumbled as she moved her shoulder and rubbed it a little, because it hurt. It was then that she had also noticed that there was someone else with her nearby. It was a human, by the looks of it. Her kind generally didn't get too well along with humans because of their shared history, but humans seemed to have forgotten it and she wasn't planning to mention it really.

"Hey, you alright, human?" She called out to him as he was regaining his own consciousness too. She then slowly stood up, towering over him. She was an impressive creature at her regular size just as all Vrykul." Did you get swallowed by that vortex too?" She asked and focused on her tattooed right side of the body where a runic tattoo suddenly started glowing in blue light and all the scratches and injuries from her body vanished." You need healing?" She asked, looking at the man, before returning her attention to the surroundings. An unknown land with unknown foes lurking about. One thing was sure though, that vortex wasn't caused by the Old Gods after all despite it's wrongness. It had felt almost familiar in some manner, but she didn't know why.. yet.

Constantin Kolev

Location: Regalia's Ship
Skills: Tretiy Glaz(passive), Fal'shbort(passive), Perception

The shenanigans with Vlad's performance and way of acting in general was as always entertaining. Still while that was going on he looked around the ship and up to the silly German on the ropes. Constantin really had no idea how on earth this guy was still hanging there with such a big happy smile on his face. He looked so happy talking away with that woman. He only hoped that the slightly loony companion of his wouldn't slip for real. That would be really bad and Constantin didn't really want Ludwig to get hurt or anything.

Eventually his attention got pulled away again as the moving of things ended and Regalia called out to Vlad who spoke a lot. The fire walker naturally kept quiet since he wasn't really referred. Finally the female captain called out to Vlad to follow her to her cabin to discuss the attacks of soulless that were going on by the looks of it. A lot more attacks than what Constantin was aware of, but then again they got attacked nearly at the edge of the Circus!

Thinking about that attack, his gaze turned back to the edge of the ship. The dark waters that surrounded them all. He felt really uncomfortable about that, but being on a batter ship certainly did help with that feeling. This was a step in the right direction, next would be when they arrived on dry land! For now though he couldn't spot anything unusual out and about which was a relief. He just hoped this wasn't a calm before a storm. His attention then turned to the familiar face Fyror and the other woman Colette.” Excuse my curiosity, but hov did the tvo of you end on this ship?” He asked and looked at Fyror.” You especially, I'm more curious about.”

Amelia Payne

Location:Wewahitchka: Centennial Bank(B7)
Skills: Perception

The situation they had all found themselves was quite good for the night actually. Amelia was incredibly glad that they managed to hold up in a sturdy building like a bank. Amelia was still quite paranoid about everything surrounding them and such a fortified location was ideal to soothe her nerves about their situation. It's been a while since they were on the road and it never seemed to be ending, mostly because their inability to secure a stable vehicle to transport them. She missed the good old horde buster.

They had all searched through the bank for everything of use so even if she wanted to search more, there just wasn't anything else to find! Amelia didn't want to sit idly, especially since they were probably going to get moving soon, so she decided to just survey the area through the windows and other openings. She just didn't seem to trust this calm they had going on.” Hmmm... it's really empty out there...” She mumbled looking outside, but as much as searched, she couldn't spot anything bad going on. Except some weird sound, but she had no idea what that was. She then pulled onto her clothing and wiped all the sweat from her face.” Damn weather...” She mumbled... It was just so hot and almost constantly raining throughout the day! The humidity was off the scale! She was practically almost completely wet and even more sweat was appearing.

β€œAnyone has any idea what this weird sound is?” Amelia called out to the others. They were bound to leave soon and she really didn't want to go out if there was something that could be even remotely dangerous for them. At least in this building they were well defended." Should some of us go check it out before the rest leave?" She asked out with concern in her voice. She didn't like unexplained thigns lately.
Alrighty with the one more person added into the merry band of merriment, I will start teh IC today!
@McHaggis Welcome aboard! Me likeys! She seems adorable! Just a point of note she's not actually aware it's a time anomaly. She know's it's a wrongness in the very world, but won't be aware quite what it is until they meet some good ol nelfies from the past at which point she will be able to put 2 and 2 together. Also since she liked Jarod enough to name the frong after him, it would be just rude for them not to meet given the chance! Move her over to the Char section.

Priscilla Harker

Location: Second Deck( Stairs to Main Deck) -> (Dining Area)
Skills: Great Observation

Placing the mug down, she turned around one last time to check on this pesky smell that had caught her attention.' It's coming from the left...' She thought, lightly giving the air a little bit of a sniff. On the left it was getting stronger as when she tried to check on the right the smell was growing weaker. She had no idea where from the left it was coming from though.' Could probably sniff it down to the source if I went searching, but...' She thought and stood up from the seat she was taking, starting to walk towards her cabin.” I'm tired...” Mosi mumbled, as fatigue was her main reason to not track down that smell source. If she was in her normal physical state, she would have been on it like a hound though!

Tiredly she walked over to her room's door. It didn't take too much as she leaned on the door and started searching for her key. At first her expression froze as the key wasn't where she checked for, but she then remembered where exactly she put it in. Thus she pulled it out and went to unlock the door. With a steady and not overly hurried movement she put the key in the keyhole and then turned it over, unlocking the door. Pulling the key out, she walked into the room and quickly locked it behind herself.

β€œHome sweet home?” She mumbled a question to herself as she walked over to the bed thing and sat down, looking around. Her bags were fine and undisturbed just as she left them. Tiredly she started to change into something better to sleep into. While doing so her fingers traced across the brand, making her wince in the process.

The fact that Mauve was at the other end of the corridor was certainly not something Rave was happy about. She didn't like what the other woman had displayed back then and the maliciousness in the way she dealt with Plum. There was no reason to act out and make his injury even worse like she did and she looked like she enjoyed it, that Rave couldn't understand and it made her not want to be near the woman right now. She now had a definite proof that the people she arrived with or at least some of them were dangerous. Plum had reached for a dagger, but fumbled and Mauve hurt him instead, Rave was just glad that Mauve didn't slit his throat or something also... She didn't want people to die.

Putting those thoughts aside she walked into the room at the end of the corridor where she was at. She concluded this was the place where she had seen someone walk around through the fireplace! Having entered the room, the first person she saw was Envy! Then she saw a man. A tall man who looked like he belonged to the estate probably. She took a deep breath and started speaking in a somewhat pleading voice.” Please excuse me, but one of the people in the music rooms suffered a deep injury from a dagger in the foot... He's bleeding rather profusely, so please can you tell me if there's someone who can help? A doctor or even someone to at least bandage up the wound?” Rave asked with emotional voice.
