Congratulations on your new debt, obligation and chores.
The more people I phone to deal with things the less and less I have a will to live.

Old Man Superman! My concept hinges on Superman's shuttle arriving in 1954. His parents told him the truth of his origin when he was ten and his powers started to manifest. At fifteen his father, Johnathan Kent was drafted in the Vietnam war. Even at a young age, Clark had a keen sense of justice, feeling it unfair there was nothing he could do but take over for his father on the farm while also doing his school work, then when his father died in the war console and take care of his mother, for a while he felt intense guilt for having the power to have helped in the war but never having done so. Upon discovering his crashed Kryptonian ship thanks to a key his mother gave him, he learnt the truth of who he was. Donned the family emblem, and ventured out into the world in the late 70s as the hero that would come to be known as Superman. Like all heroes he fought alongside heroes against villains and natural disasters, but as time went on he made a life for himself. While Superman continued to make headlines Clark Kent met Lois Lane, the love of his life, got married and settled into a comfortable career as a reporter for the Daily Planet. A founding member of the Justice League he had been intending to come out to the world with his true identity, as a husband and a father, on the day Despero attacked. In the battle Lois Lane-Kent was named as one of the fatalities. One week later Superman hung up the cape for the last time at the official disbanding of the Justice League, Clark Kent packed up his office and returned to Kansas. To Smallville and the family farm, a Widower who would go on to raise his son. Jon Kent. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) I always liked the Boy Scout-type characters. I want to tell a very different story in this game than I typically do. I want to tell a very human story and I understand the irony in using an alien to do so. I want to explore real emotions, of grief and frustration as Clark continues to try navigate a changing world as a being of unfathomable power. Yet at the same time, he's a grieving husband who has to raise a son by himself. A son who is the hybrid of two peoples, and a son who is coming into his own power. Clark and Jon will explore their dynamic, and thei rplace in the world as Heroes as the story unfurls, all the while a New Superman tries to fill the void left behind. Jons 'uncle', Connor. |

Luthor doin' Luthor things. I fear for the superfamily.
"Because of you, Kryptonian."
The alien smirked.
"Because you present a challenge."
