I don't know if I should go with SCP-076's powers (summoning multiple bladed weapons) or the Sacred Blacksmith's powers (Creating one sword, but with special abilities)... Opinions?

Not the tallest in the crew at 5'10, with a slimmer physique than some of the burlier members. Obvious Alori traits include black claw-like nails, sharp fang-like teeth and a wolves' tail matching his hair. pupils of his eyes become slit like his father's when distressed or angered.

Designed for Short to Mid-range combat and good at punching through both physical and energy-based shielding, used primarily for boarding actions/repelling boarders. 35rnd magazine.
'Shadow Cat' Multi-phasic Energy Marksman Rifle - A semi-automatic Long-range rifle designed for accuracy and penetrating infantry-level armour/shields. Using a combination of Laser, Plasma, Electromagnetics and a solid alloy 7.62x51mm bullet, It maintains the higher damage output of it's plasma and solid-ammo components, without the dispersion effect of the former at longer ranges. As a downside, however, the effective rate of fire is reduced, and less rounds can be stored in the magazine. 15rnd magazine.
ES-230 Dual-Phase Plasma Side-arm - A standard-issue short to mid range sidearm, boasting more power than it's laser-based counterpart at the cost of reduced range. Good against unshielded targets. 14 shots per charge-pack.

Abilities:
Military Training - As an ex-soldier, Nero can handle himself in a fight. He has training in Firearms, Explosives and CQC, as well as situational skills like room-clearing/ship boarding, physical endurance and resistance to torture. He even has training in small ship piloting, but anything outside of a Sword-class is passable at best.
Engineering Talents - Growing up around broken machines and fixing them up for fun, Nero has a natural knack for Engineering on multiple scales, from small trinkets to the inner-workings of a warship. This was further honed by his time in the military.

Personality: Cold, distrustful and aggressive when pressed, Nero isn't what you'd call a people-person. He's quick to get irritated and bite at people, but in contrast it takes a damn lot to really make him fly off the handle. He cares very little about race, gender or other such details, instead valuing someone on how useful they can be. To quote "I don't care if you kick puppies or save orphans, make yourself useful or get the f*** out of the way."

He is slow to form new attachments, but he is loyal to people he is working with so long as they don't directly conflict with his personal goals. If he gets close enough to someone, there's not a lot that he won't do for them, but he's also very quick to take revenge on those that betray him, no matter now close. The only exemption to this is his own mother.

Short bio: Born and raised on the slum-world of Ywain Beta, his mother was a human woman running the local clinic and his father was a Wolf Alori working as a local handyman. His birth was difficult due to the largely incompatible physiologies of the two, but he was lucky enough to be born mostly healthy and without any serious defects. He was bullied quite severely by the local boys for this, but he found a friend in a local Denari girl that frequented the clinic for various health problems. When he wasn't tagging along with his dad on handyman jobs, he would spend a lot of time with her. They grew up together and grew quite close, but her parents were distrustful of him until they eventually took her off-world when they were 15. Disheartened, he threw himself into helping his parents until deciding to join up with the Imperial Military and use his earnings to take them all to a nicer system to live. His parent's weren't as optimistic, but encouraged him anyway so that he could better life for himself.

As soon as he was old enough at 16, he signed up and crawled his way through basic training, where he was bullied for his split heritage and became colder and more closed off as a result. He spent over 3 years in active service, under constant discrimination and abuse even by his superiors, until he was able to return to his old home. When he did, however, he was greeted by his home in flames and his father fighting against armed soldiers as his mother was dragged away onto a luxury cruiser. Just as he arrived, the soldiers got tired of the resistance and fatally shot his father before turning away and leaving him to bleed out. Nero, powerless to act, was only able to listen to his father's explanation before he died in his arms. It turned out that a visiting noble from the Central Systems had taken a liking to his mother and decided that he wanted her as his maid/concubine/plaything. When he tried to stop it, the soldiers intervened. With his dying breath, he apologised for not being strong enough to stop them and begged Nero to save her.

After that, he didn't return to his CO in time and was marked AWOL. They sent a team to retrieve him, but he instead killed them and stole the Squire-class ship they had arrived in. He then tried to follow the noble's Knight as it fled, but he was unable to move fast enough and they escaped. In anger, he set a course for the nearest military outpost and literally crashed the ship into it, using a Sword Fighter to escape at the last minute. When his anger faded, he used the resultant confusion to sneak into the base and search for any relevant information about the noble. Eventually, he found a flight-plan leading to Arthur Beta that matched his 'prey'. Realising that he couldn't take on that many military forces alone, he stole another Squire-Class and hopped from planet to planet for the next few months, looking for anyone with a grudge or just plain dumb enough to help him. An interesting offer lead him to Lancelot Prime...

Here you go, an engineer that doubles as a gunner or boarding party as needed @The Jest. I just need an example of an upper-class planet, like the space equivalent of Kensington or Dubai. I'm guessing it'll be in the Arthur System?

Also, I mentioned in Icarus's cs that he can control entire ships using his interface ability, so that might mitigate the need for gunners of you can't find any.

Icarus, The Pilot

Considerably tall at 6'3", with a ex-military combat chassis recoloured with black alloy paint and green lighting, usually covered by a black polymer cloak. Featureless feet that more resemble boots, but human-like hands with 5 digits to allow for manipulation of normal equipment.

The Technicalities

AI Core

Technically, Icarus exists within his AI Core, comparable in size to a Thermos Flask. While his Interface Ability allows him to insert himself into other systems and technology, he can only maintain permanent control of a system in which his AI Core is directly installed. To transfer him from one system to another, his Core must be physically removed and reinstalled into the new system. Destroying this core is the only true way to 'kill' Icarus, as no matter how damaged his chassis becomes, he can theoretically just transfer to a new one. To power him when not installed into a system, His core is powered by a small internal fusion reactor. This reactor has a lifespan of multiple centuries, but only provides enough power to sustain his AI Coding and cannot be used to power anything else.

Weapons: In broader terms, Icarus's whole body is a weapon. A Mil-Spec robotic combat frame(illegally modified, repainted black with a modified headpiece) boasting a suite of integrated energy weaponry such asHandguns, blades and personal shielding. His human-like hands also mean that he is able to utilise traditional weaponry, and even increase the effectiveness of energy-based weapons by supplementing them with his own internal power-supply.

Abilities:
Direct Technological Interface - So long that he has direct contact or a stable wireless connection, he can directly interface with and control anything with a circuit. This can extend to anything as large as a Knight-class Cruiser or as small as a recon-drones or energy-based weapons, but the more concentration he requires to do so means the less awareness he has to his own surroundings. This power is also completely ineffective with purely mechanical based systems.

Internal Reactor - The Dueterium-based reactor within his mobile chassis is both extremely efficient and fuelled by an in-expensive recourse that is easy to find, meaning that he is able to operate for months at a time without needed to purchase extravagant amounts of expensive fuels

Overclock - As an entirely technological being, Icarus can activate an over-drive state that rapidly boosts his physical and digital capabilities, at the cost of heightened energy consumption and heat build-up.

Mainframe Database - Icarus has the ability to download and emulate theoretically any skill that is able to be put into data form. Skills learned in this way suffer slightly in application as they lack practical experience to refine them, similar to teaching yourself the theory of a skill without physically practising.

Personality: Practical and Analytical as a result of his core programming, but also prone to more 'human' traits like sarcastic remarks, concern over crewmates, small displays of anger and willingness to defy orders as a result of his cracked programming, thanks to Adriana.
Short bio: The ICARSes were a series of AIs designed on a planet in the illusive Merlin System, but fell out of favour with the higher-ups due to higher production costs and less restricted growth potential, sparking doubts about possible rogue AI. Most of the cores were summarily destroyed, but a few were sold off on the black market. One particular core changed hands a few times before ending up in a junker's yard on Morgana Beta, where is was 'rescued' _stolen... by Adriana Lockster, a young woman with considerable skill as an programmer/engineer and too much time on her hands. She was able to fill in the missing parts of his code and get him online, naming him Icarus after finding his official designation too much of a mouthful.

She hooked him up to various bits and pieces around her home, a derelict transport ship, and he took over various tasks. As he spent more time online, his self-writing coding began to spring up and (influenced by her own inputs) he began to express a curiosity about what it meant to be 'free'. After a long philosophical discussion, Adriana built him a rudimentary mobile chassis out of discarded robotics, standing around 5'9". To return the favour, he secretly began repairing the transport they lived in, planning to surprise her on her birthday. This, however, never happened as the ruling crime-family caught wind of her 'little AI boyfriend' and sent some corrupt law enforcement to capture him. He stole one of their guns and tried to fight them off but Adriana was wounded very seriously in the resultant firefight. He managed to escape by piloting the transport off-world and trying to hide on Morgana Zeta, but the ship barely survived re-entry and the resultant crash rendered it incapable of flight.

Adriana was left in a crippled state, and Icarus spent close to 3 months caring for her before the crime-family finally caught up. They attacked while Icarus was away collecting crucial supplies, leaving Adriana vulnerable. What they did to her is better left unsaid, but when Icarus returned he was grabbed by one of the law enforcement's advanced combat robots. He was unable to escape the superior 6'3" machine's grasp as the organic officers laughed and mocked him and Adriana, and in his rage and desperation attempted to hijack the robot holding him. His more advanced programming quickly overtook the unit, and he turned his new body's weapons on the corrupt cops around him. He buried Adriana with a piece of broken metal as her gravestone and took the first ship off-world without a set destination in mind.

He spent the next year hopping from planet to planet, making small modifications to his chassis and eventually ending up in a certain bar on a certain world, accepting an offer from a walking anachronism.
