Quick question;

How old is Cauldron and how long has he been kidnapping children for Leftover experiments?
Pia

Pia had heard everything she needed to from the man in the cell. She couldn't immediately make sense of all of his words regarding darkness, but she could understand enough that what was about to happen had already happened once and they hadn't been expected to survive it the first time. She had also learned that the scientists were indeed the ones who'd been stealing their memories. Pia didn't have it in her to be patient or polite. Fear was giving way to fury. She was exhausted and anxious and just wanted the never-ending converyor belt of horrible things to stop. But more than that, she wanted some clear answers and explainations.

Pia stormed away from A and the man in the cell, down the corridor. She caught up with D, VV and the scientist. She unfortunately missed the part where the scientist told them that they'd be ceasing the memory wipes. She arrived just in time, however,to hear his spiel about all the awful things thus far being fuel for their project, and the promise of more to come.

Pia was silent. She did not trust herself to open her mouth. Like D, she was angry, but far from being a violent rage, her mental state was more frayed and delicate. One wrong sentence could set off a bout of hysteria. Her eyes were both piercing and desperate. All she wanted to hear, was good news. Something. Anything.

Despite the bullets bouncing harmlessly off the coils of steel wire protecting her front from gunfire, Wireframe was not at all used to being shot. Before she could recover her position, another Hero came to her rescue. Or...Wireframe thought she was a Hero. She'd never seen this women before at Hero One and it's the kind of appearence you'd remember. No sooner had Wireframe been rescued than, before she could even thank her saviour, all the robots around them suddenly collapsed. Acid thenbegan to leak out of them. Too gently to be booby traps. It must be a failsafe to melt the cirtuit boards so the tech couldn't be intercepted. That meant that the diversion had achieved its purpose and was no longer necesarry. Wireframe recalled Oracle's earlier message.

Wireframe's saviour reported the robot's deactivation to somebody else, then turned to her and invited her to the cowboy float. It sounded like the gunman had been neutralised. Unfortunately, Wireframe couldn't be sure that this indeed was wrapped in a pretty bow. She had to get to Hero One. If that was the Fiendish Five's main target, they may still need assistance. Where was her Motorbike?....that's right. It's in the the Mini-base Garage on the East Flank.

"Actually," Answered Wireframe with a steeled determination on her face that suggested she wasn't finished yet. "Could you give me a lift to Rawcliffe Street on the East Flank? There's something I need to do before I can breathe easy."
It's always tough to write for Pia because I have no backstory to draw from and most of what happens is stuff out of her control that she's really just been reacting to. Still, I'll try to post as soon as I can
Lady Mystique (Lady Shiva and Mystique) and Wild Thing (Harley Quinn and....I think Silver Fox at a guess? Idk she was mentioned in Orphan's CS) could be added to the villains list as they've been established in our backstories

Madison was stationed at the entrance to the convention in plain clothes, taking note of everybody coming in or out of the convention center. Nobody fit the profile of those five pictures she saw. She heard the gunshot. Despite the distance from the entrance to the back of the parade, she could still hear the shot, which was quickly followed by the sounds of screaming. She took a look over at the stage. Powers seemed calm, so there was no reason to panic yet. But then she saw them. Robots, and a lot of them. Some were crawling along the ground like spiders. Others were flying. But they all had guns. Madison raised her watch to her mouth, and set the frequency to the 'Proximity-All' setting, which should allow it to get through to any Heroes inside the convention hall who were actually wearing watches.

"Attention, any Heroes inside the Johnstone Convention center. Robots incoming. Front doors. They're armed. Prepare to defend civilians and evacuate them to the fire escape."

Her safety net hopefully assured, Madison stretched out her arm, creating a steel wire barrier across the doors. This was unfortunately poorly planned out, as the flying robots flew over it and the spiders crawled lower under it, and bust through the doors. Damn it. This situation was too chaotic and changing too fast for Madison. She was used to saving single civilians, or search and rescue. She was usually on the scene after the bedlam was all over. Was this what the famous Heroes had to deal with all the time?! This stress and pressure?

She grit her teeth, and wrapped her steel wire around one of the flying robots, swinging it into another one. Both crumpled and went down. Huh? That felt a little too easy. Robots sent to attack a building fullof Heroes should surely be more advanced and armored than that, right? Suddenly her watch beeped to life again, and she heard Oracle's voice come through.

“Attention heroes, The primary target is not Hero Day events! It’s Hero One!”

So that's why the robots were so flimsy! This was a timewasting diversion designed to keep all the Heroes away from Hero One! Madison shot out her arm to grab a spider robot by one of its wierd legs, but suddenly the turreted gun on this back swivelled to her and open fire. She turned the front of her body into coiled wire as the bullets bounced off, but it still stung. wireframe let go and was being pushed backwards.
I'm down but I haven't been accepted yet
Maybe the OOC might attract a few more. Hoping that we'll get more players in the interest check if we wait long enough....might not work

"Oh, so 'Oracle' is the hero name you decided to go with, huh? I like it! It's a cool name!" Replied Madison, taking another bite of her hot dog. She swallowed, then looks from Wiseman back to Oracle. "I don't think it'll be anything with too much pressure. It did seem urgent but he asked for anybody who was free, rather than requesting any of the experienced Heroes inside the convention specifically come help him. If he called us for something we absolutely cannot mess up, he sure went about it in a rather wierd way."

It was then that Oracle introduced the two of them to the mythical 'Jareth' she'd always talked about at the Academy. Or, she supposed, 'Terraformer'. Also a cool hero name. She shook his hand when offered, and was about to retort something playful like 'Oh? What did she say?' when she noticed Powers approaching in a suit and went silent as he stole her attention.

He threw a broken robot to the floor and explained the reason they'd been summoned. An espionage drone had been tailing Powers. There was a strong possibility somebody was planning something at the speech. They were here as additional security, to make sure nobody wil ill intent caused an incident or put people in danger. Powers initially suggested that due to her high mobility, to search from high. Madison had not brought her hero costume to change into. She didn't think she'd need it. She began thinking about how she'd go about doing that while at the same time listening to everybody else's input.

Wiseman, by analysing the drone, identified that the villians who were behind tailing Powers with the drone were the Fiendish Five. Madison had heard of them. They executed their plans together so this was unlikely to be Gholem working solo. She viewed the ICOSA files that had just appeared on her watch. What she was most focused on where their faces, and their powers. Holiday was a sniper and Jellyfish travelled by water, and the drones had hitherto only been observing Powers, lacking the ability to be a credible threat directly. If any of them were going to try to enter the convention directly to cause trouble up close, it would be Albino or Lady Blade.

Amuné used her own powers to tell them all something more alarming. The five were on the move. They were not afforded the luxury of prep time. There was yet more strategizing which was going over Madison's head. She was typically an incident responder, and didn't have much experience fighting villains directly. The others were either much more seasoned Heroes, or had abilities that helped them to contribute. Madison listened with a troubled expression on her face as she finished eating the hot dog. That's when Ardent said something to her. He said she blended in really well. Immediately, Madison knew how she could help out the best way.

"It would be really easy for somebody to sneak into the convention hall undetected today of all days if they wanted to. There aren't any drones around us right now so none of them will assume I'm a Hero, looking and dressing like this. I'll stay on the ground, station myself around the entrace and will discreetly alert you all if I spot anyone before trying to keep them busy."
