Betrayed: Second Chance

The Blessed Companions, as the people would later call them. The Blessed Companions were not just famous heroes, they were "the" heroes. The heroes of the age and almost everyone in the known land had heard of them. Initially starting as a group of adventurers, the group would find themselves crossing paths with a powerful lich and working together. They were able to stop the lich and save the day.

This was just the start of their tale, and as the group traveled and got stronger, their accomplishments grew and grew until their name became known throughout that land. It seems like no challenge or threat they could not beat, until that fateful day during their final battle with the Eruo the Tainted.

Eruo the Tainted used to be a normal human who, in his pursuit of forbidden knowledge for power. He became tainted by the Void and became something else. Though tainted by the Void, his mind remained his, and with this newfound power, he wished to conquer the known world and establish a new order under his rule.

When the Blessed Companions found out about Eruo, they sought to stop him. It was that day during their final battle with Eruo that the unthinkable happened, they lost. But not by Eruo's hand but by one of their own. Before the the final blow can be stuck on Eruo and end his life. Elise, one of the Blessed Companions betrayed them in this moment and killed them before they could react.

Now dead, there was nothing stopping Eruo from enacting his plans, and while there would be resistance against him. None could get as close to defeating as did the Blessed Companions. So Eruo's free to take over the known world and enact his vision of a new world order. Though what became of Elise is unknown.

But, this would not be the end for the Blessed Companions, and despite their name being forgotten in the century after their defeat and death. There would still be some that remember them, and one of these few, an old sorceress. She enacted a ritual to bring back the Blessed Companions with a single goal in mind. To finish what they started, kill Eruo and liberate the world from his tyranny. Though she will soon die from the cost of enacting the ritual, she hopes that these heroes can do what others cannot.

Now, in a world they can barely recognize. The Blessed Companions have their mission, and whether or not they can succeed in killing Eruo and finish what they started a century ago is up to fate.

Hello and welcome to the rp. So in this rp, you will be playing as the resurrected members of the Blessed Companions. Now, while they were regarded as the best and strongest heroes of their time, this does not mean your character will be invincible, but it does mean that they could handle any small or weak enemy that comes their way.

I was going to go into detail with the Order of the Ancients when I officially launched the OOC. Along with the other three competing secret societies. But I am going to say now that the order is the youngest of the four. Around four hundred years old and came from the remnants of an older secret society. Honestly, I think it can work, like either character could be a Descendant and the immortality being their power/ability that was triggered. Perhaps their ancient ancestor was the first immortal or at least someone that managed to gained immortality through some means. Just as long as the character can still die and not from the lost age. It is fine. If this is okay with you, that is.

Also, I am going to let people have the option of being a Descendant or a normal person.

So far, he would get his revenge but discover and encounter Hydra and start fighting them and find out that they cloned him and Hydra would send one or more of his clones after him or encounter them during his raid on a Hyrda facility.

Maybe, but it depends. As in the immortal being apart of the Order of the Ancients? It depends on if your char can still die and how old they are. I need details.
