"Well, that was certainly... interesting. Who would know that there were superpowers like that. Well, there's Prof. Meredith so, why not, right?" he thought as he casually walked down the hallway, making his way to the classroom. Suddenly, his ears started popping. "What the hell?" he mumbled while rubbing his ears. "Why is the pressure in this room so much higher than normal?" Paul thought and started picking up the pace.

After a moment, the pressure suddenly dropped back to normal. "What the hell is going on here, he mumbled to himself once more but shrugged the thought off and continued walking down the hallway when he reached the trio, Prof. Burr and two other students. "Hey Prof. Burr" he called out to him. Now, Paul had decided that Prof. Burr was one of the cool guys. He never gave them too much homework and he was friendly with all his students. He also gave good advice. All in all, he and Paul had a friendly teacher-student relationship. As he walked closer though, Paul noticed that he wasn't his usual self but was more serious, "Um, what is going on here?" Paul said.

Michael walked through the square, scanning for anyone that might be suspicious while trying to remain undetected as well. For that reason, he wasn't wearing his usual uniform and was instead wearing a plain white T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and black sneakers. He searched around and noticed that a crowd had gathered around a man. He walked closer and realized that the man was actually Swift who was posing as a magician and was showcasing his tricks. Nice cover thought Michael as he passed in front of the crowd to make his presence known to his teammate.

As he walked, Michael also noticed some familiar faces in the crowd, like Noriko and the sisters, Cinia and Linia, both of who were currently talking to another girl. A very special girl at that too as she had no arms! He couldn't imagine what she had been through, trying to live without arms all her life must have been a terrible experience.

Nigel sat on a small stool, waiting for the announcer to call out each team by name. His eyes closed, he was in deep...meditation you could call it. In actuality, he was scanning his body for any last-minute errors or inconsistencies that might have popped up. His inclusion by Master Kat in the team that would participate in the Games threw a huge monkey wrench into his plans. Originally, he planned on sitting along with the other members of the guild in the stands and used his nanites to scout on the members of the opposing teams but now, with him an actual member of the team, that wasn't possible anymore.

What came to him as a surprise was that Master Kat delegated Piper to a reserve. He was sure that they would need her long-range firepower if they wanted to gain the upper hand in the team fights. He looked around, searching for her in the guild waiting room.
