Is there any better feeling than tsumo after a kan, and the dora turns out to be the four tiles you just called? I think not.

Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic (for character) stories. I enjoy creating original characters for RP,
but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me to chat!
However I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

I am excited to start, but the holiday had me busy. Hoping to get something done over the weekend.
@Yankee

sorry I've been so busy lately! But for sure I'm deff fine with it too. I'll get a post up soon.

Hey no problem at all! In that case I'll get started on an update and post it after you. Thanks for checking in!
Interested and slightly intimidated, ngl. But I have too many character ideas to list atm and I can't choose. :'D

As someone who recently joined in (only 2 months ago I think), I can promise you that all the players are very kind and accommodating - no need to be intimidated! They'll catch you up to speed but I do recommend reading at least some of the IC. It's a fun time!
Hi all again! So I know @Haruharara will be away for a little while soon due to holidays. If alright with them, @Duoya and @Kautalya, I could move on? If that's something we want to do, we'll just decide whether the order was completed by all parties or not? Let me know!

Upon leaving the Guild Hall, Ace Cadet was genuinely excited. He was all smiles as he climbed right into the back of the big truck. The day so far had been full of so many surprises and new information, that the Cadet was ready to roll with just about anything at this point - including motorized monster carts. It wasn't really the strangest thing he'd seen anyway, not even just including some of things he'd seen back home. As it were, as the vehicle rumbled off towards their destination, the red head simply enjoyed the hum of the motor and the chatter of everyone pressed into the bed. He spent most of the first parts of the trek getting to know his new comrades. Besides Tora, Poppi, and Peach up front who were up front, and The Courier and Geralt who both he had already met (and he'd asked the witcher about a dozen times if he was really sure they hadn't met before coming to Lumbridge), he managed to learn everyone's names. Cadet didn't have any objections to the "boss," Bowser, taking command of the lot of them. He was the biggest and apparently a freaking King back where he'd come from. All in all, it was a swell ride.

When conversation died down a little, perhaps the gathered people trying to sight-see any of the places they hadn't gotten a chance to visit yet, the Cadet pulled out his bag and rummaged around inside. None of them knew exactly what kind of quarry they were after, so it was best to be prepared. He ignored the berries, both the Dragonfell and those he wasn't familiar with, and mentally kicked himself for not pulling them out during dinner. Surely someone could identify them - and the Dragonfell wouldn't be useful on it's own, he had always planned to gather more eventually. Still, now wasn't the time either. What he pulled out were the herbs and phials he had. Crushing the plants in his hands, he got them down to a surprisingly fine consistency. Once they were completely squashed and began to resemble mush, he shoved them into the vials: ta-da! Potions! One might think there was more to it than that, but there wasn't. The mysteries of nature!

A particularly bumpy part of the ground made the Ace Cadet look up from his work, and he grinned at the night time atmosphere of the Ancestral Steppe, another place familiar to him. However, his smile began to fade when he noticed the strange figures dotting the land. His scoutflies flew up toward the front as the truck slowed slightly, and he let them do their thing, catching scent of a monster. He stashed the potions and turned his body, half leaning out of the truck to get a closer look at the area as they traveled through it. "This is... really weird. The Steppe doesn't normally look like this," he said his thoughts aloud, but no more after the Princess' call for silence.

The whole group exited the vehicle and of course the Cadet was no exception. He unsheathed his sword and shield as he walked, finding his nose wrinkling and the hairs on the back of his neck standing up the higher they got. Yeah, something was definitely wrong here, and "weird" probably wouldn't even begin to cover it. The hunter even managed to keep quiet as they climbed, keeping his eyes straight ahead and avoiding the creepy, weirdly colored growths.

It wasn't until they reached the top and the Cadet spotted a familiar mass of muscle and scales that he broke the silence. "Oh, that's - !" The sudden burst of broken wood and the appearance of a large, disgusting, impossible being stopped the hunter's words, and quite nearly his heart. He felt his entire spirit gripped with fear. He'd never seen such a creature before, but somehow he knew it was awful news. The green glow of his scoutflies turned an ominous red as they fled back to him, not that the group needed any confirmation that the monsters in front of them knew they were here.

Agoston's sudden cry shook the Cadet from his frozen terror, and as he watched the centurion charge he was grateful for the man's encouragement. Not to be outdone, the hunter prepared to jump into the fray as well. The Thing from the Stars still unnerved him, but it was only part of the problem - there was also the hulking Brachydios to deal with. At least I know what it is and how to kill it, so I'll focus on taking down the Brachy, he thought, and before he took off his brain managed to remind him that although he knew what a Brachydios was, the rest of the posse most likely did not. It was too late to warn the centurion, but the rest of them were still gathered together. Cadet pushed his way to the front of the group and spun around to quickly address them, pointing at the blue scaled monster.

"I don't know what the heck those other things are, but that big guy is Brachydios! It's saliva makes that green slime on it's body explode so if you get any on you, get it off as quick as you can!" He'd dealt with many Brachydios in his hunting career so far, and it was a hassle every time. Stupid slime monster with your stupid pompadour! the Cadet thought, turning back to the scene and trying to get the unpleasantness of the encounter out of his mind. He really needed to focus on taking down the Brute Wyvern before trying to deal with the unknown. The Cadet leapt into battle, going the opposite direction as Agoston - making his way toward the Brachydios rather than The Thing from the Stars. He used his shield to violently push the husk-like beings away from him, and what he couldn't reach with his shield he slashed at with his sword as he attempted to get within range of the monster.
@LordOfTheNight my character plan was someone who was raised within the guild, but wasn't an actual member until now. Technically a new member but already knows the ropes.

As the day wore on a little more, Sia eventually decided it was time to leave. Wandering eyes of strangers were starting to stare, and whether it was because of her appearance, outfit, or simply because she may as well be a tourist, she didn't care. The looks made her skin itch and she sighed, downing the rest of a second cup of coffee and standing briskly.

She checked her watch. It wasn't that late yet, and while she was still relatively new to the area she should spend her time exploring. Not only did she have to get used to the city, but there was the matter of the 'other stand users.' Her brush with breathlessness and meeting with the man who'd introduce himself as Diavolo was starting to feel like a fever dream at this point. Logically, she supposed there would be other people with the same kind of abilities as herself, but the likelihood she'd find one? If people like her really drew close to each other by fate alone, why had she never met one before?

Italy's a much smaller country than America, maybe that's why, Sia thought to herself, Everyone's a little closer together already.

The brunette walked the streets of Florence with no real destination in mind, but soon enough she came upon what looked to be a shopping center. She was contemplating a shopping trip when something strange caught her eye. Two men with an almost comical number of bags - and a shimmering, extra pair of arms. The light faded quickly, but she'd seen it. I - I did see that, right? It was...! Like...! Like her own ability! Speak of the Devil, huh? Sia was struck with the urge to follow them and make sure of what she'd seen. She didn't want to approach them, what if they were dangerous? But she had to find out. Across the street from the pair, Sia made her way in the same direction, keeping a close eye on the man who'd manifested the extra limbs. When she could no longer follow from her side of the street and needed to cross, Sia didn't even think twice about it - she rushed across in order to get closer to the men.

Of course, rushing into a road is not usually a good idea. A shiny sports car came speeding through, and Sia narrowly avoided being hit.

"H-hey!" She stumbled away from the road with a shout, though it would have been entirely her own fault should the car have struck her. She backed away from the road quickly, and her panicked escape had her careening right into the pair of men she'd been stalking.
Reorganizing. . .
Been feeling pretty under the weather lately, but I'll get a participant sheet out asap. I was waiting until I had one to move Paramour over the character section so I could throw them both in one post.

Mimika stepped out of the alley way, quickly skipping away from the area. Her mind was filled with options to make Vasilisa’s plan a reality. Well, first things first though. They needed a frontman.

The cleric made her way down the cobbled streets of Bellview, passing by shops and the barracks where hordes of people congregating. She violently pushed her way through the crowd, and once on the other side she looked back at the mass of players and raised a brow

Huh, this will probably be the best place to set up shop, she thought. Continuing on, she eventually came to the town’s tavern. She threw open the doors and marched up the counter, flashing the bartender her brightest smile.

“Hiya barkeep! Where can a gal find someone for hire? Store front position!”

The barkeep looked at the small girl with slit eyes, the vision of the elder human man glancing along her body - unamused or perhaps just disappointed? He cleared his throat, the bar was rather empty, and spoke with bellowing voice that echoed throughout the wooded interior.

“You think you’ve got enough money to hire someone in Bellview?” He raised a loft brow.

The man’s expression had Mimika straining her smile, and she could feel her eye twitching in annoyance when he questioned her. What the hell, she was super cute! Old geezers especially should be fawning over her, or so she thought.

“What makes you think I don’t?” she questioned back, trying to appear as polite and innocent as possible. “Well, even if I don’t, I have a business partner, and we’re looking to hire.”

The man grumbled, slumping down and resting his jaw into an open left-handed palm. “Very well, there’s a small area of working teens and young adults behind the southern merchant strip. They’re not old enough to be masters of a trade, but not too young to work, I’d recommend you head there.” He nodded to the girl.

“Southern merchant strip,” she repeated, “Yay~ Thank you~!” The elf winked at the barkeep and turned away. He was right, she didn’t have even one copper to her name at the moment, so it wasn’t like she could tip him for the info. Even if I could, I probably wouldn’t though!

She strolled out the door, taking a few seconds to look at the map once she was back in the daylight. She had considered asking around the Adventurer’s Guild, but she really needed an NPC that wouldn’t ask questions, so merchant strip it was.

Mimika hopped along, heading towards the market. Once there she kept an eye out for any kids she thought might make a good front man for them. Someone charming, that could calmly deal with players. A girl would be nice, Marcus thought, letting Mimika idle for a moment while he mentally made some notes about the area, and the plan in general. Really hope I remember this when I wake up. Maybe I should invest in like, an in-game notepad.

Eventually the cleric found her target: a pair of young women chatting outside of a shop. Bet they’d like some extra spending money. Mimika approached them with a smile, waving as she got closer. “Hi ladies! I’m Mimika, nice to meet you! I have a business opportunity if either of you would be interested?”

The taller woman dressed in shades of gold and green turned to respond first, likely a bit older than the other. “We have working military men for husbands, they’re members of the guard? You seem new to the peaceful Bellview, I doubt you’d understand.” The woman batted her eyelashes and flipped her bronze locks out of her face.

The younger of the two squinted at her partner, shorter brown hair and a much friendlier appearance exemplified the difference in the twos personality. “We are former maids to a lecherous lord, excuse her for the rudeness. But, I don’t mind hearing the proposition - profiteering is always a valid venture.”

“Good,” Mimika continued, keeping her polite smile plastered onto her face.Outside she was the picture of etiquette, but on the inside she thought, What the hell? Dumb fantasy world rednecks. Do you want to depend on your fake husband forever?!

The cleric cleared her throat taking a few seconds to cobble her pitch together. “This will be no cleaning service - for you, at least. I’m looking for someone willing to run a store front. Accepts orders, smiles at potential customers, that sort of thing~ All the hard work will be done by my partner! It’ll be a service for adventurers. Still with me so far?”

The two silenced themselves and nodded to the small adventurer on attention. Though this was briefly broken by the taller, older girl speaking. “We don’t know if these new adventurers are dangerous. Can you promise our safety?” She snipped.

Mimika blinked. That was a great question. These NPCs are kind of believable, Marcus thought, not for the first time impressed with the game. Still, not to be seen as unsure, Mimika quickly answered the woman.

“Right now we plan to open up pretty close to the barracks - ” Of course, Mimika hadn’t discussed any of this with Vasilisa, but hey. “So not only will the guards be nearby, but my partner is a giant. A gentle giant, but emphasis on giant!”

She paused a moment before continuing, “If that still doesn’t make you feel safe, we can invest money into a private guard. Help keep people from doing anything dumb. We are a budding business though.” Yeah they definitely wouldn’t be able to afford to hire a guard at the start, but honestly some muscle to keep the business safe would be a good idea down the road.

“Whaddya say~?”

The two women then exhaled in relief, the taller one rolling her eyes to the short-haired one before nodding to one another in acceptance and saying in unison. “We’re in.”

"Excellent," Mimika's smile was nearly devious. So far, so good! She brought up the chat menu and quickly messaged her partner, and after some fiddling actually did find a note-taking function in the UI. They really thought of everything huh?

The cute cleric happily addressed her new employees that they'd be meeting with her partner soon, and went ahead and added the two girls to her current party - yet again without permission from the party leader, Neres. With that done, the trio made their way back towards the center of town. With Mimika leading the way, the group were mostly absentmindedly wandering. Hope I don't have to kill too much time... oooh is that a shop? She ducked inside in order to sell the cudgel she'd started with, as the staff she'd traded for with Neres was a strict upgrade. Finally some coins in my pocket! Hehehe-

The enraged German shouting caught Mimika and the girls with her - as well as several others in the area - off guard. He was really loud. Mimika sighed through her nose and rolled her eyes. Wow, what's this problem? Is it even possible to get so mad over a game? After a moment thinking about it, actually, yeah Marcus had seen plenty of videos of people smashing their computers. At the memory, all he could do was
