Adam was happy that Fenna supported his plan, and of course it would make sense to adjust the plan as needed based on the circumstances at the time. "Of course, thank you Fenna" he said in response to her. Focused as he was on planning the route, the man didn't do much else besides refill his canteen before the group set off on the path he had chosen.

And so far, it had been fairly uneventful. With Fenna scouting and himself making sure their travel was going according to plan, there hadn't been any impediments to their path so far. Really, so far he had seen the same tranquil sights as yesterday. Not that the Druid minded at all, but he knew in the back of his mind that this couldn't last forever. That was why he tried to stay near the middle of the group, ready to engage in battle if the need arose. Zell's formation made sense, despite the guy himself confusing the red-eyed man, so he would do the best he could to adhere to it.

"I don't think skeletons will be our only concern. I saw an animal run away that was large enough to be a concern if there are more of them."

And she was correct. There was potential for a fight ahead with some wolves, and while Adam knew he could navigate the team through the outdoors, he wasn't prepared to lead them into a battle. And Lillianna's announcement that the enemy might know where they were wasn't a random guess; the man had thought such a thing was possible the day before. There was a great deal going on here and if the group was going to survive, they would have to work as a team.

"Yes, we have a lot to be concerned by. The wildlife and maybe the Witch Queen knowing where we are could be short term dangers to us." Saying this, Adam nodded at Lillianna in a sign of support. "So we'll need to work together if we're going to succeed." Saying this, he turned to face James and asked him a question. "As the one who probably knows more about strategy than anyone else here, what do you think we should do?"
@Crimson Flame that is fair! I didn't know Clefairy had so many. She is approved, move her to the Characters tab whenever you are ready!
@Crimson Flame I like your CS! I just have one concern - how does Faye have so many attacks as a level five Pokemon? Half of them are pretty basic so I'm not that worried about it, but I definitely did want to ask about that.

@Dragonfly 9 Vixen is approved, good character! Go ahead and post her in the Characters tab.

I'm happy we already have two great characters so quickly! Feel free to think about how they interact with each other, as everyone on the team already knows each other. Once I think of a name for my Machop character, I'll post him in the characters tab.
Name: Gray
Pokemon Species: Machop
Gender: Male
Appearance: Gray has scars all over his body, giving him a scary appearance.
Personality: Gray is wary of those he doesn't know at first, but even so, he isn't hostile without a reason. Also, he is very loyal to those he cares about. He is also ambitious and knows that he wants more than to be in the slums the rest of his life. Ultimately, he is optimistic despite his circumstances and believes that things will be okay in the end, even if he has to work very hard for that to happen.
Biography: Gray was born around Rock Tunnel and spent his early years there. However, as Team Rocket rose, they wanted Pokemon for their experiments and soon captured him for this purpose along with his friends and family. Specifically, they wanted to create a method that would allow Pokemon to talk and read like humans, and that was why they were all brought to a secret lab outside of Viridian City. While all of those Gray cared about perished due to these experiments, he survived, though with the scars that are present on him today.

Team Rocket never knew how successful they were. Gray gained the ability to speak, read and write in English, but the facility was raided before they could discover that fact. Gray escaped the lab, trying to find a trainer who would want him on their team. Those he met were repulsed by his appearance though, so he gave up on that goal and created a life for himself in the slums of Viridian City instead. Gray knew he wanted more for himself than this, but he made friends there and was happy enough for now. The day before the story starts, Gray heard about a valuable shipment going through the city, and decided to investigate. Little did he know what he would get or where this object would take him….
Anything Else: Gray can speak, read and write in English. He also can see well in really dark areas due to growing up in Rock Tunnel and his ability is Guts.

Useful information for later:

Approximate level: Five
Attacks: Low Kick, Leer, Focus Energy
@Courtaud we' be glad to have you! For you and for @Dragonfly 9 @Crimson Flame and @Skwint I have made the OOC; it is located here: roleplayerguild.com/topics/190206-pok…

I wanted to think of my character's name first, but I am stuck on that point and didn't want to keep you all waiting any further.
Hi there and thank you for reading this! I've wanted to write a Pokemon roleplay for a while and thought of this idea. A little introductory post is below:

-----

Our story starts in Viridian City in the Kanto region. Team Rocket is on the rise once again while the Silph Corporation is busy creating new inventions. In Viridian, the Rockets attempt to intercept a package Silph is delivering to Pallet Town. As a result, each think the other has it, but the truth is quite different than that!

In a back alley in the slums of the city, a Machop is talking with a group of Pokemon. The fighting type Pokemon has scars all over his body, giving him a scary appearance, but the ones he's with know him as a friend and respect him as a leader of sorts. That is why they listen when the Pokemon had an "exciting idea" to share.

"My friends, look at us. We live on the streets, surviving off scraps, while the humans live in fancy houses and can get whatever meals they want. Today, we take the first step in our journey towards gaining what we desire. Behold!" The Machop then pulled a curtain off of a nearby object, revealing what seemed to be some kind of humanoid robot. Male in appearance and the size of a typical teenager, it almost looked like an actual person. Brown hair, blue eyes, and what could be mistaken for white skin could be seen on the "naked person." Nonetheless, the lack of any anatomical features revealed that this was not, in fact, a real person. A Silph Corporation logo on the stomach revealed the origin of this robot as well.

"You…you stole their stuff!" one Pokemon exclaimed in disbelief.

"So what, we sell this thing for some cash?" another asked.

The Machop shook his head. "Nonono, you're all thinking too small. We're not selling this thing, we're gonna use it. We're gonna enter the Pokemon League! Think about it; these humans pay each other to have us fight for them. Why not get paid instead?" The Pokemon's excitement rose as he continued his pitch. "We can train each other better than some random person ever could! Put some baggy clothes on the bot and it'll look like any other guy, one that listens to us instead of the other way around. We go on an adventure, save some money, and live the rest of our lives in luxury!

What do you guys say, are you in?"

-----

So the gist of this RP idea is that a group of Pokemon, living on the streets, use a robot as their trainer so they can get gym badges, enter the Pokemon League and get the money that comes with it. Along the way, they'll have to deal with Team Rocket, the Silph Corporation, and other obstacles to their success. These Pokemon are already friends (to varying extents, depending on your character; planning this before the RP starts and after your CSes are accepted will be encouraged), so they know each other. These are Pokemon just starting their journey, so think of them as being at about level five at the most to get an idea of where they're starting at. We'll each control one Pokemon, so the RP will consist of up to six writers.

The battles will be more along the lines of the anime where Pokemon fight in real time than the turn-based "Pokemon X uses tackle, then Pokemon Y attacks" from the games. Creativity is encouraged! I'd like a group of people who want to stay long term, contribute ideas to the story, grow their characters and have fun writing in the world of Pokemon. In order to provide fun writing environment, a few rules are below:

1) Usual RP writing rules apply. Don't control other characters without permission, don't be a jerk, use proper spelling and grammar, etc.

2) I reserve the right to refuse entry and kick out anyone from this RP for any reason. Of course, I don't want to do this just for laughs, I just want to be able to ensure a great experience for everyone.

3) If you have an issue with another player or me, please talk it out with them privately or PM me about it. Nobody likes being publicly called out. In my case, I am human and will make mistakes, so communicate with me when that happens.

4) Post length should vary depending on what is needed; both long and short posts have their place, but two to three quality paragraphs per post is a good minimum to expect.

5) You should be prepared to post at least once or twice a week. If the writers want, we can increase the pace, but I think that's a good starting point.

6) If you can't post for a period of time or are no longer interested in the roleplay, let me know please. It's easier to know and work around it than to wonder what is going on.

The Character Sheet is below (I'll add mine to the Characters tab later):

If you have any questions, let me know. I look forward to writing with you!
Welcome again, Ashh!
Zell: this is going to be a boring day.
Zell after the enemy appears, probably: why can't we have a day go by without someone wanting to kill us?

Joking of course @Saiyan
I'm bumping this to see if anyone else is interested in this idea. If you want to write in a Pokemon RP, it would be fun to write with you!
After waking and greeting everyone up with MacKensie, Adam got to work on packing up his bedroll. Being practiced at the task, it wasn't particularly difficult. He then quickly ate some of his rations for breakfast, not wanting to keep his teammates waiting. The man knew there was another day of hiking ahead of them and wanted to get as much distance in as possible. Examining the map, he found a suitable route, very grateful that he had asked for the navigation tool as he saw what they could have stumbled upon on without proper directions. It was good timing too, as the Druid heard the voice of an older woman ask him a question.

"Hey, can you show me what route you are planning to take today?"

Adam smiled at Fenna and answered her, showing her the map and guiding her along with his finger as he did so. "The morning's going to be pretty similar to what we did yesterday, light trees and hills. I'd like to stay by the water when it's practical in case James needs more spells. I don't entirely understand his magic, but I can tell it's important. The afternoon, however…" after trailing off a bit, the Druid shook his head a little, "it's going to get tougher. We're arriving at The Mazy Hillocks. Now, there is a path with steep hills, ravines and rocks. We could go there, if we wanted to annoy ourselves." At this, the Druid smirked ever so slightly. "Fortunately, there is an alternative. There is a quicker route if we head towards the western side of the Hillocks. It will involve some rock climbing up a small cliffside, but I should be able to use my magic to make vines for us that we can use as impromptu ropes. Perhaps you could scout a bit also, help us avoid anything that'll delay us." She had said she might go ahead of the group at times, so the idea was reasonable to him. "What do you think of that path and plan?"

It was a sincere question. The man didn't know Fenna very well, but he did know that everyone here had some kind of talent, and her gear and bird suggested that she had some familiarity with the outdoors. Therefore, Adam knew she would be able to positively contribute in some way to their mission to bring the cube to Valheim.
