Given the combination of my lack of inspiration, my university workload and general dissatisfaction with the atmosphere here, I am going to withdraw my interest.
Anyway, know that I like your idea and your style as GM and hope to at least be able to roleplay with you in the future, if it doesn't work this time around.
Aww, thank you~
As for the other stuff, if you're not feeling up to staying, I won't judge you. Joining a thread is something that should take dedication, and I respect that you're considering stepping out because of your difficult schedule.
How frequently I would like posts to come through? I don't really want to set a definite limit, because I know that it's constraining to some of our players. But, if you're the kind of person who frequently misses days of posting, or who can only reasonably post once a day, I think that would probably be the bare minimum for participation.

Sorry.
That's fine, the whole reason I mentioned everyone was because I wanted to know who was still interested. Best of luck with uni~
Well, I've considered everything and really think that I should step out, before causing any unintentional harm to the RP, since it's not a problem that I can solve anytime before December. Anyway, I'll keep following it, and if the possibility of joining ever pops in, I'll take it (though, obviously, not as the same character).
I'd also like to clarify my character wasn't meant to be a direct copy of Nanoha, though she was one of the inspirations. I was basically taking inspiration from Nanoha and Kisaragi Gentaro from Kamen Rider Fourze when I worked her out. Nanohaesque outfit and attacks was deliberate though.
But, that's not relevant to why I'm dropping.
I'm not dropping just because my friend's character was denied. I'm disappointed by that, because I enjoy RPing with my friends. But that's not enough to make me drop an RP and I understand when a character isn't acceptable. My issue is that she was apparently lead to believe the direction she took the character in would make it acceptable, and has now been told the exact opposite. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I can't enjoy the RP after that.
Besides, I'm sure someone else would like to have my position.
@KoL It's all good, I understand completely. You have your own thread to run as well, after all.
@VitaVitaAR Like I said, it's fine. I know you guys are like, a club or something, so I was more or less expecting you to leave at this point. I'm looking forward to possibly rping with you in the future, and hope that there are no hard feelings between us~
I honestly didn't know this was a one-chance-only thing, to be honest. That, plus I'm not sure where I went wrong. You said that you wanted things to be more serious if the character had actual combat experience, so I went from simply kuudere to what I actually posted, but you mentioned lack of PTSD on the current version, so I'm not sure if I was too serious or not serious enough... or if it's a backstory issue, which could be corrected just by having more information available. Or if it's some sort of nebulous power issue. "I don't like where this has gone" is a rather vague rejection reason.
If you'd just explained, I could have fixed it. The thing I wanted to play was pretty simple ('experienced "big sister" type; not good with people).
Though I'm not seeking to rejoin, slightly more detailed feedback than 'I like this' would hardly be amiss. Writing a bio and hoping that it fits the GM's preferences is a messy approach to character creation.
Is there still room, and if so, is the green color taken?
Also, it would be a good idea to move all the info and sheets to the OP so people don't have to dig them out. Here's my sheet:
Name(s): Marisa Dokukumo
Age: 16, but looks like 12.
Gender: Female
Personality: Marisa casts an outward appearance of a cheery, kind girl, and has a habit of smiling while talking in a bubbly voice. However, beneath this social mask lies a mind broken by abuse into a dark and violent girl with questionable sanity who can't help but giggle at the very face of death itself when put in a stressful environmnent. She fights for the sake of hope, knowing that the more she hopelessly fights against the rotten world she is trapped in, the greater will be the despair that she secretly yearns for in her heart when she ultimately fails.
She may fall in love, but this is, as you might expect from someone like Marisa, not your conventional infatuation: she easily becomes obsessed with innocent girls with hope still beaming in their hearts, and once she has found one such example she won't stop going after her, stalking them and aggressively protecting them from anything that could corrupt them or take their innocence away; a result of her subconscious wish to have a life of hope and innocence again.
History: Marisa's life as a Magical Girl began when her adoptive father agreed to put her in an illegal Magical Girl research facility that still worked under the old, unethical ways of the terrorism age. She was subject to various experiments related to Resonance and Soul manipulation with the goal of reclaiming the lost knowledge and science of making truly powerful weapons of war.
Marisa survived, but her spirit was broken, possibly beyond repair. The experiment should have failed and dilute her magical powers due to the corruption. However, she embraced the despair instead of succumbing to it, and her soul gained a unique serenity, and thus possible of power. After a time her powers were found out, and she successfully enrolled in a Magical Girl Academy. It was there where she felt she belonged in, among others of her ilk who can change the world.
Magic
Style: Mid-Range Disabler/Trapper. Marisa tends to fight close despite not having any melee capability whatsoever, which only a truly insane individual would do. Marisa doesn't mind, and loves to dance on the very thin line between hope and despair while battling her enemies.
Colour: Green
Attacks- Bone Beam: Marisa launches beams from her staff that take the shape of human bones as a basic magical projectile. Ripcage: Marisa charges up to launch a single shot that takes the shape of a ribcage. Marisa can only shoot these one at a time, but it has more power and penetrative qualities than Bone Beams do.
Spells- Hopeless Hold: Marisa paralyzes the bones of her enemies, binding them for a short while. Doesn't work on boneless or emotionless enemies. She can also throw a bound target in any direction, usually right into a trap of Death's Heads set up to fire. Puppet String: Marisa grabs a non-living corporeal object with telekinetic magic, allowing her to either move it around or throw it.
Special Moves- Death's Head: Marisa summons goat skulls that launch powerful beams at a delay set by Marisa before disappearing. The goat skulls don't track and only fire at the exact position they were summoned at. Despair Fever: Marisa summons Death's Heads that circle around her enemy before firing, resulting in a nearly unavoidable attack. Requires Marisa to have touched her target.
Finisher- Genocide Scissor: Marisa summons two giant skeletons with goat heads that cross-fire two very powerful beams before disappearing.
Equipment
Magical Equipment: A syringe filled with Marisa's blood which she stabs into her arm to activate her magical powers.
Combat Equipment: A staff with a goat skull on top called Todeskopf. It becomes alive and cackles while charging up magical attacks.
Misc. Equipment: Marisa carries a severed head of a teddybear with her, which has sentimental value to her. However, a part of her hates that, which is the reason she has not rebuilt the toy.
Other
Combat Experience: Inexperienced. Marisa has underwent combat simulations, but has never experienced a real fight before, which will most likely only deepen her hopelessness when the times comes.
Hopes, Dreams, Goals: Marisa has the goal of attaining the greatest despair one could experience, and to that end she keeps fighting harder and harder, knowing that one day her hopes will be crushed, as the hopes of countless others have been crushed before her.
Fears, Flaws and Anxieties: Marisa, while outwardly seeming like an individual devoid of fear, has an innate fear of herself and what she has become. This becomes more apparent if she somehow manages to make friends, causing her to doubt her path and if despair truly is the right answer.
Living Family: Marisa doesn't have a family in the traditional sense, being an orphan, but she does have an adoptive father who she doesn't know that well, having spent most of her life in a Magical Girl Facility and only met him a couple of times while there.
Guess I can answer if green is still open, well technically no. My character's color is green, but she's also one of the two adult characters, meaning she's not a proper Magical Girl. Also I don't think it'll matter too much if two characters share the same color.

Fun fact: Kaori was originally going to be green. I dunno how I went from Green to Yellow xP
But yeah, don't think it matters a whole lot, though I could be wrong. Might just help with the uniqueness of the character or something.
I could easily change it to something else like purple if Alice finds it a problem.
Hey, I was just making general small talk and giving my two cents~
Kaori is Yellow. Just thought I'd give a bit of a fun fact about the character. Kaori went through a lot of different iterations before I finally settled on her final appearance/form xP
How dare you like something I don't like! fite me bruh! >:O
ahem...I mean, green is a cool color~ I just...for some reason, bright greens just annoy me for some reason.
But then again, most bright colors do. I like cooler, darker tones. Like greys, dark blues, dark greens. Colors like those. Oh, and my favorite color: Royal Purple~
But yeah, Dark greens are cool, too. And green can look nice if it works well with another color xP
