Location: Newnan
Interacting With: Ash & Maria --> Sid

The doc merely rolled her eyes as she heard Alicia's comment; typical. The woman could never just be quiet and listen, she always had to spout something off. If it wasn't for Caesar she would have gutted her months ago. Granted being in some type of relation with Caesar didn't mean that the woman was off of her hit list, it just meant she had to play it a little smarter than usual; for the doc this wasn't an issue. She knew the woman would do something to get injured or need to be tossed out of the place. She had pushed her luck more than enough as of late. One more misstep and she could make her move. She only needed to be patient and bide her time; that she could do.

Gathering a list of things they were running low on in the Infirmary. There was the usual; gauze and the like. Then there were the more specific meds; all the things they were running low or dangerously low on. With all the wall breaches as of late people had gotten injured and their supplies were getting burned through at a higher rate than normal. These things needed to get replaced and fast.

Doc only bothered to make one list and headed for Ash and Maria. She wasn't about to deal with Alicia right then and with how she was planning out the womans death constantly in her mind; facing Caesar right then might give away what she was up to. She figured he knew that she didn't like his daughter but she kept the fact she actually wanted to gut her close to the vest. This was something that did not make good pillow talk.

"Here's the list, don't know if you will be able to locate all of it but most of it you should be able to find. If not at the usual spots, see if you can find a vet clinic. I can use the same meds for animals as I can us, just need to change the dosage," she said to Ash as she handed the list to Maria. Turning she started to walk off.

"Watch your backs, I won't be around to patch you up if you go down," she quipped before heading back towards the Medical Gardens to check on the plants and such. Glancing around she found Sid quick enough; figures he wouldn't be volunteering to head out on this one. The kid did go on runs but not these type and right then he was far more valuable in the gardens than out on a run. At least if they came back empty handed from these runs the variety of medical plants they had growing now would make a difference.

"So, how goes our little experimental drug store?" she asked Sid as she stepped over to him.

Leanna watched as everyone paired up and headed out to get prepped for the runs. She did not like having to send so many out at once but it was better than taking longer to get what they needed by only sending them out one at a time. Most of her heavy shooters were leaving, so that pretty much left her. It was going to be a long next twenty-four to forty-eight hours; especially if anything went down while the rest of the group was away. Granted everyone in town was taught how to handle themselves on one level or another thanks to Caesar but many of these people hadn't been outside of the walls in sometime, they weren't used to the onslaught that could happen anymore. People get walls they get complacent. Leann did what she could to keep everyone active but you could only press people so far before they snapped and they had no Shrink in the city. Viv was the only medical person and she was anything but in the right state of mind to be playing counselor.

Wrapping up at the meeting she headed through town, checking supplies and assignments for those left behind while the rest were going to be away. She and some others were going to be on the outer walls while most of town would be working on repairs to the outer wall. They needed to get this done as quickly as possible. It would take at least another week with their current numbers working around the clock. That wasn't good. They couldn't work around the clock, people needed rest or they dropped the guard and stupid shit happened. Last thing they needed was to lose even more people.

Leann walked out of supply and headed over to Ash; seeing Vivian walk off back towards the medical garden. She had just come up to Ash and Maria when she heard the tell tale roar of Busters Engine rev up. Her head whipping around to see who in the hell had just started that thing up. She barely was able to make out who was in the front seat as they drove passed; Alicia and James. Turning she perked a brow.

"When in the hell did they get authorization to take Buster out?" she asked, looking directly at Ash as she spoke.

Luck be a lady tonight, luck be a lady tonight, luck if you've been a lady to begin with, luck be a lady tonight....

~puts down the mic~ Excuse me, it just seemed fitting with the way things have been going as of late to try to give Lady Luck a little bit of a reason not to drop an Acme Anvil on your head out of the blue. It seems she has listened. Whether it was the serenade or something else, Luck is being a Lady tonight. For how long that lasts, no one knows. Luck is a fickle lady but for now, even with this small hoard nipping at your heals, she is being a Lady.

Jaimes little knot tying adventure seems to have worked, perhaps not as flawlessly as one would like but hey any good luck is welcome luck in a time like this. The first couple of Walkers that broke through are the first to come right up to the road block; or carpet block in this case. (Carpet Block? That sounds like a really nasty type of constipation.) Anywho, they get caught up for a bit giving each member in the group a little more time to get up the stairs and to a better vantage point.

Like with all intestinal blockages though, they all eventually give way and there is where Lady Luck decides to stop being a Lady. She slips the carpet blockage a dose of X-Lax and that bookcase comes crashing down. It pins a couple of the Walkers down underneath it but nothing major and once again the way is ready to go. It takes the hoard a bit to work its way over the obstacle but they do, two by two and work their way up the stairs. Like some twisted version of Noahs Arc. Two by Two, they're coming for you. Can you hold them off? Only time will tell.

I really cannot tell if Luck is being a Lady right now anymore or if she is just trying to screw with you; either way, things are about to get interesting. You book it down the stream and try to make it to the highway. Walkers, doing what they do, try to follow but the little creek is posing more of a problem for them than they had probably had anticipated. Granted I don't think they really anticipated anything, they just saw lunch to go and figured that they would try for a free meal. Thing is, nothing is free in this world and they have paid the cost. They're stuck.

Whoo-hoo, it seems you are home free. NOT! Noise brought Walkers to begin with, more noise had brought more. They are coming in from both sides now on the other side of the stream. This can't be good but what can you do, dealing with Walkers always causes noise even if you don't use a gun. Plus, they all seem to have this instinct to follow each other; with lemmings this is great, with Walkers, not so much.

You have a couple of options right now. You can turn back and deal with the ones in the creek and try to break through that way. You can pick a side and try to break through that way but right now you don't know if there are even more off in the woods you haven't spotted yet. All you know is the six you had left to deal with has multiplied in number four fold. Your last option is the Highway. You can see it through the trees and on that highway you can barely make out what looks to be an RV. Does it run? Do you? Time to pick a path Ladys.

You are starting to feel like a single beetle, or pair of beetles trying to outrun a fire ant colony. They are behind you, half around you and your only really exit was towards the woods and then to make your way back around to that lovely little lovers nest from before. Not a bad idea. I mean there is only two of you and a lot of them. Not much else you could do. Fighting might have taken some of them out but when it is two against one for each of the stars on the flag; things can get dicey. Running is a good choice.

Problem with old cemeteries that are along the edge of woods that haven't been tended to in a long time is over growth. Grass grows up, it covers things; things you might not see. Jonas is lucky enough to make it through the overgrowth without incident but suddenly Victoria, your foot gets snagged on something. It's a root that has upturned from the last rain and now your ankle may just be broke. Running force, sudden stop because of root and forward momentum is never fun.

Be careful trying to get it out of the root and watch your six, things could get even more dicey. You need to think fast and move quicker but that is going to be difficult with so many coming for you and chances are you just screamed your head off from pain - high chances. Get a move on before things get worse because as we all know - it can always get worse.

Dexter Sterling

● Location: Hoganville, Troup County
● Time: Morning-Afternoon

Dexter's breaths came in shallow rasps as he bolted up the stairs, his backpack swinging to and fro across his shoulders as it hung over only one arm. It made that familiar – oh how do you describe it – like a successive whoosh of fabric and buckles rocking with the sound of books and binders shifting around inside, the sound you were accustomed to when you were about to be late for class. That's what Dexter was reminded of.

" Jump the last stair! " The voice was familiar, Jaime's. He had almost completely forgotten about the others even existing during his ensuing fear of being grabbed and mauled. Dexter wasn't sure what he meant, but as he came around the last part of the bend to the landing his foot nearly collided with the uppermost step. He tried to stop himself from tripping up, and barreled over the rug he almost caught himself up on.

Having just barely cleared Jaime's obstacle, he stumbled over the landing onto the second floor. Dexter took a brief moment to steady himself, once again straightening the backpack that listed lazily down his arm. He glanced around hurriedly to find his companions. It was when he stopped he realized how much he was shaking, looking down over his hands which refused to steady themselves. Was he bit? He didn't think so, but one couldn't help but worry. Oh God, he didn't want to die in this prissy southern doll house.

Dexter peeled his eyes up and away from his hands, seeing Jaime. He goes to say something, but decides against it. Seeing one of his companions gives him some sense of relief from the situation, calming him enough to regain his awareness. He wanted to ask where Richard was and if he was alright, but he didn't think there was time to – he would just have to assume Richard wasn't trying on outfits and taking his sweet time in one of the rooms on the second floor, and instead was somewhere secure.

They had to move, it wouldn't take any longer for the walkers to get up to them. He broke for the other stairway down the hall without another thought. As he approached he began to take longer strides, opting to go two at a time again, focusing entirely on not tripping as he hurried up the steps . . .

Kristina Smith & Lorna Dunn

Time: Morning.
Location: Lumpkin Creek, in the woods South of Hwy 34, outside Franklin, GA
Interacting With: Each other & Walkers

That creek was turning out to be a real life saver for Lorna and Kris. Sheathing her katana on her back, Lorna ran with Kris. They dodged, ducked, dipped, dived and dodged their way through the trees that stood between them and the RV that they spotted just sitting on the highway. It was practically begging them to use it but nothing was as safe as it seemed. They’d have to be careful.

Lorna vaulted over the metal barrier at the side of the highway and made a beeline for the RV. There was no chance she was risking going inside it just yet. There could be anything in there! Looking around Lorna ran to the side of the RV and beckoned Kris over to her. She hurriedly whispered to Kris. “I’m going to boost you up, I’ll follow right after.” She clasped her hands together and braced her body to boost Kris’s tiny frame up onto the roof of the RV.

Kristina quickly followed Lorna's lead following right on her toes as they dodged through and around various trees, looking around seeing the herds of walkers in the distance her heart was pounding rapidly. Then they made it out of the forest and back onto the highway, Kristina looked around there werent any other cars other then the RV.

Kris quickly followed Lorna around to the other side of the RV looking at her for a second she could still hear the groaning of the walkers in the forest. "Sounds good to me." Kristina said between breathes as she stepped onto one of Lorna's hands, her weight on Lorna's arms as she reached for the top of the RV. When Lorna lifted her up Kristina quickly pulled herself on top of the RV, looking down at Lorna as she backed up slightly to let her up.

She huffed slightly as she pushed Kris up to the top of the RV. She was so god damn tired. If it weren't for the adrenaline coursing through her veins right now she'd probably just pass the fuck out on the road and be done with it. Lorna looked around, the walkers were closing in, she didn't have time for anything fancy. She took three strides back and then ran full pelt at the RV, grabbing onto anything she could hold onto. Her foot slid as she tried to land it on the edging of one of the windows but she managed to catch herself. It wasted a valuable second however before she managed to get herself up and onto the top of the RV.

She rolled onto her back and took another second to catch her breath. Thank fuck these bastards couldn't climb. She rolled back onto her front, keeping her katana and pack away from under her body as they weren't the most comfortable thing to bloody lie on. She whispered to Kris again, motioning for her to get as low on the roof as possible. "If we keep down, keep quiet? Maybe?" She didn't think they needed to waste more breath. Lorna kept away from the edges of the roof and lay flat on her stomach, watching around where she could see and listening for any sounds from inside the RV as well.

Kris watched as Lorna took three steps back before getting a running start and managed to pull herself up onto the RV. Once her friend managed to get on top of the RV Kristina simply just sat down breathing heavily every inch of her body felt like it was on fire by now. Her eyes looked towards the forest as she noticed the walkers making their way towards the clearing and closer towards the guard rail. Doing what Lorna was Kris quickly laid down on her back turning her head to look at Lorna. "Hopefully they will just pass through.." Kristina managed to say resting her hand over her chest and looked up at the sky resting her pack against her stomach.

Ashton Holloway

Location: Newnan
Interacting With: Vivian, Leann, Maria

Ashton curtly thanked Vivian for the list and regarded it briefly before tucking it into a pocket. Seemed like the standard stuff he'd gone to find on earlier runs; he would just have to get a little more creative with the search this time. Ash wasn't a huge fan of Viv's, granted, but the two were interesting, symbiotic parts in the Newnan Community. She needs, he gets, town was better off.

He turned to Maria, ready to head off, when the familiar sound of his prized feat of apocalypse-survival engineering growled to life, the second that Lt. Colonel McCormick appeared to give him a sendoff. She turned to observe Ash's Hordebuster, awake and mobile, moving toward the outer gate. The good Captain leaned his head to one side, squinting, trying to see who was suicidal enough to move his baby without his permission.

He could make out dark skin and a cowboy hat in the driver's seat, a more feminine silhouette to his side. Alicia and James. Of course. James would have to break into his rooms for the keys, else hotwire it. Plus, he had his own vehicle here, adequate to fit the needs of this run. Alicia bunked with Ash; it had been that way for a while now. She could have easily pocketed the keys. Alicia would answer for this, yes indeed. She would answer, but not to Leann. The Lady in Charge might be within her rights to put a bullet in her skull, or something slightly less unsavory.

"When in the hell did they get authorization to take Buster out?" asked Leann, staring directly at Ash.

Rising anger was plain on his face. It couldn't be hidden, but perhaps the real reason for it could be misdirected, if only slightly.

"That'd be me, Ma'am. I said something pretty vague about the vehicle, they obviously misread it. This will be handled, by me, when we all get back." His accent tended to flare more when he was irritated. Right then his native Virginian was at Rhett-Level intensity.

Captain Holloway flashed a salute to his CO and growled "Ma'am.", immediately turning heel and hopping into the SUV. Alicia would pay, but in a manner appropriate to the offense. Right now he needed to cool off, get emotion out of his decision making process. Throw his head into work? Yes, please.

He started the SUV and set his rifle in the backseat, then looked over to his partner for the run, Maria. She had similar taste in firearms, it seemed. He gunned the Honda out onto the road, making haste to leave Newnan and get to work.

"M4 Carbine? Very nice. Glad you brought your bow, too. One of us should be able to kill quiet."

They passed the gates just in time to see the 'Buster round a turn out of sight. This was not the best beginning to their day. The only upside: James and Alicia had a better chance of speed and safety.

Black James!

Location: On the road just south of Newnan
Interacting With: Alicia

The Hordebuster continued unerringly on its path, as its driver, the larger-than-life Black James(!) vocalized the bassline to a popular Johnny Cash ditty. He danced (rather, spasmed) with inexpert proficiency while driving the rig, making stupid faces birthed of childish glee and an attempt to elicit a smile from Alicia.

"Bom bom bombombombom bom bom, bom bom bom bombom... The ring of fire, the ring of fire."

Caesar Gonzalez

Location: Newnan
Interacting With: Meg

El Jefe took the map from Meg, turning it around once and folding it to expose only the section relevant to their travel that day. He tossed his few supplies into the floor of the passenger side of the truck and climbed in, careful to angle his longer blades for safety and ease of retrieval.

"North to 34. Head west. Straight shot. Lemme know if you need something stabbed."

Caesar leaned back, seemingly resting his eyes as the truck pulled away from Newnan and onto the open road.

Jaime Bishop

Dexter ascended the stairs, covered in walker blood, and cleared Jaime's obstacle without falling into it himself. Fantastico! Jaime would have marveled at how he had gone MMA on a bunch of those undead monsters, but there was no time for admiration. They were still coming...

Jaime ran with his partner right up to the next set of stairs. He didn't skip steps like Dexter did. Instead, he opted to throw the large picture frames lining the wall down behind him as he ran, hoping to cause at least a little bit of a stumble amongst the horde when they reached that point. Once at the top, the young man grabbed a nearby shelf with a lamp and tossed it downward too. It was the crappiest barricade he'd ever made, but then again he never had to work with so little in such a hurry.

That's when Jaime noticed that only a couple of the walkers were in sight now. "Dexter! Richard! The muerte have slowed down! We can pick them off!"

Not wanting to waste any time, Jaime grabbed his length of high tension wire hanging from his backpack and tied one end to the hand rail of the stairs. Quickly as he could he wound line after line back and forth between the two hand railings, tight, until he either ran out of wiring or the first couple walkers got too close. Once that happened, he backed off to get his distance.

Maria Smith

Location: Newnan, Georgia, Newnan Carpool > The Open Road.

Interacting With: Ashton Halloway, Vivian Ormerod & Leann McCormick

Maria looked out the window as she watched Vivian walking over towards their SUV, she opened the window as Vivian handed her a list of what they needed medical wise. Maria unfolded the paper to take a look what they needed, which were all extremely low on she looked towards Ashton and handed him the list as he set it into his pocket Maria turned to look at Vivian once more though the woman did scare her she got the feeling that Vivian respected her. "Don't worry i'll make sure that our Second in Command doesn't get himself hurt out on our run." Maria said looking towards Ashton as Vivian walked off towards the medical garden, though she wished she could help out tending to it she knew that Sid was able to take care of it as well.

Then Leann came out passing Vivian as she approached them as well, she leaned back in her seat as Ashton and Leann spoke then she heard the roaring of Buster gunning down the street and towards the gates. Maria couldn't help but try not to smirk she knew that it was Ash's baby and had a feeling that it was James who was at the wheel of the giant beast. Maria wished she could actually give the massive beast a test drive but it looked like it wouldn't happen anytime soon at all, the Ash started the engine of the Pilot and they headed down the road and towards the main gates of Newnan.

"M4 Carbine? Very nice. Glad you brought your bow, too. One of us should be able to kill quiet." Maria turned to face Ashton she looked in the back seat as well seeing that they had taken the same type of rifle and smiled they did seem to have the same choice of weapons. Then came the subject of her bow, which was originally her father's before the world went to hell the only thing that was left of her father. "I never leave Newnan without it, and its been with me for the last three years it was actually my father's it's helped quiet a bit in nasty situations." Maria said with a smile, then she rolled down the window and took in a deep breath breathing in the fresh air feeling the cool breeze going through her hair. "So how did you make the Horde Buster anyway and how do you feel about James taking it?" Maria asked looking towards Ashton its the most that they have gotten to know one another now that they were partners on a run together.

Jonas "Yer Fucked" Soberano

Interacting with Victoria @Garden Gnome
Special Mention: @Lady Amalthea

Jonas turned abruptly, the sudden loss of warmth of his Victoria and the sound of her scream made him freeze. He immediately slung his gun on his shoulder and quickly stepped over the root she got caught on. Her screams were loud and painful to him, his face grimacing as he stooped down to pick her up carefully bridal style. They hadn't got it this bad for two weeks, they believed that they were actually doing alright in this damnable apocalypse. Instead, all this shit was happening to them all at the same time. He didn't like seeing his loved ones getting hurt and it pained him to see that Vic was going to have some trouble walking for weeks. Making sure she was comfortable while lightly jogging, he went back to running from the horde who were right on their tail.

"I'm sorry Vic, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please forgive me, I'm sorry." He whispered quietly as another small whimper of pain made his way into his ears. With each step, each jolt, a sound representing the pain she was in came out of her mouth. He held her tightly in his hands to try and keep her stable, running as fast as he could without completely destroying her ankle. He saw the edge of the forest and the corner of the black house, the sight made him run faster and faster. Maybe Lady Luck would decide to be nice to them. Or maybe she would decide tsk kill them off.

Either way, Lady Luck's a bitch.

Richard Johnson

Time: Morning.
Location: Off Ralls Road, Troup County. Between Hwy 29 and Hwy 100, just North of Hogansville, GA.
Interacting With: Jaime, Dexter and dead bitches that be trippin’

Having climbed out of the attic window and climbing onto the roof, Richard had situated himself atop the dormer of the window and had taken a swig of his coveted hipflask contents. He was safe where he was and he was content in that fact. His heart was pounding and sweat ran down his back from the hot sun that was beating down on him and the roof. He felt like he was being cooked but in the grander scheme, being cooked before being eaten was probably a blessing in disguise.

So he’d left behind the other two, so what? He wasn’t about to get eaten if he could fucking help it. That’s just being a dumbass, plus no fucking border bandit was worth losing his life over. Fuck that shit for a carry on. Richard looked out around the outside, looking to see if anymore Deadbrains were in the general vicinity of the house. He didn’t think he could see anything but there were never any guarantees in this world anymore.

"Dexter! Richard! The muerte have slowed down! We can pick them off!"

That. Fucking. Little. Shit.

Richard gripped the edging of the dormer and swung himself back into the house. He landed pretty softly in comparison to the size of him but that was due to the luxurious carpet that lined the floor. Deadbrains or not, that nervous, dickless Mexican bastard was going to pay for forgetting Richard’s golden rule. Richard pulled out his Ruger out from the back of his belt and took the safety off.

The sight before him would be pretty comical if it wasn’t for the close to death situation that they were in. He could see Dexter and Jaime through the door, Jaime had just finished up with another of his constructions to slow the Deadbrains down, and he knew he kept him around for a reason besides just his cooking. Dexter was standing beside Jaime and looked as worried as ever and was pretty bloodied up. The fuck had that kid got up to while he was downstairs? A question for another time if they made it out of this hell hole. Richard walked forward and made his way closer to the top of the stairs.

“What have I…” Richard raised his gun and shot a one armed Deadbrain between the eyes that had been pushing up against the wire already. The body fell backwards, knocking into the Deadbrain that looked as if it had been torched alive that was shambling up the stairs behind it.

“...fucking told you…” He pointed the gun at another Deadbrain, this one was pretty fresh looking with a baseball cap still on its head, and squeezed the trigger again. The bullet ripped through its open and snapping mouth, spraying the diseased brain matter across the wall of the stairs.

“…about calling me Richard?!” He then raised his booted foot and kicked the nearest Deadbrain that was pushing against the wires in the face, knocking it back down the stairs. There was one more trying to shove its way through the wires and Richard raised his gun for a third time and shoved the barrel against its temple. More brain matter and diseased blood sprayed across Richard and the stairway wall.

Richard then walked towards Jaime, covered in blood and brains and smacked him upside the head. “Move. Both of you!” Richard ran back into the room he had come out of and motioned for them both to follow him. “Block the door when you fucking get in. What a pair of fucking idiots.” Richard was already making his way to the window and started to make his way onto the ledge but didn’t actually climb all the way out and up yet. He sat with his gun trained on the doorway of the room, waiting for the other two to get inside and block the door.

Leann McCormick

Location: Newnan
Interacting With: No one currently

Leanna nodded slightly before she left the two to do what they needed to. If Alicia and Jame took the Buster without permission there would be hell to pay. Would she execute them for such an infraction? That would depend on if they brought it back or not. Chances were low though; even if Ash said he would take care of it personally it didn't mean that she wouldn't address the situation as well. She was in charge of Newnan, something like this was not likely to be overlooked.

Steeling was a major infraction; borrowing however could be looked at from several different angles. They had one thing working in their favor; Ash had not intended to take Buster out for this run; so they weren't leaving him without what he needed. Now to wait and see what all or who all they brought back. It would have to be weighed out then; if they returned. In this world coming back was not always an option.

Making her way down to the Armory Leann geared up for a wall patrol. With most of their heavy hitters being out for the next day or two or even longer she would have to put aside the desk work and get her hands dirty. Well not as dirty as those working on the outer wall repairs but a little dirty. Grabbing two tench knives she secured them in place on either thigh, even though she would be taking guns if something popped up she wanted to kill as silently as possible for as long as possible.

Two Beretta's and a 995 Carbine later, along with ammo she was set and making her way out to the outer wall perch nearest the repair area. The three groups had rolled out and were long gone now and the sun was starting to become hidden by the clouds. The winds were picking up and the clear smell of rain coming was in the air. In Ga it was a simple smell that anyone that lived there through more than one year knew; the sky would take on a slightly orange tint as the red clay dust got kicked up into the atmosphere, you could smell the Ga clay, the creek waters and the grass. It was a great fresh smell to tell the truth but it meant that a storm was coming...

Dos Troublemakers

Location: Newnan --> Ralls Road
Interacting With: Each Other, Hoard

Well isn't this fun, the route you plan out is never the route you take. You started out heading south on Cornith Road only to find the road was blocked by multiple trees that were down. Maybe you could have busted through with old Buster but in the end it was just quicker to back track a mile and hit Bohannon Rd. It linked up with 29 South in Granville and you could continue on your way there. You did.

Things seemed like clear sailing, other than the skies above. Storms where never good but hey it made for a nice cool ride with the windows down. Everything was fine until you came up against a massive hoard trying to cross into the woods south of Ralls Rd. Mother Dick.... Okay, back track people back track. Ralls Rd connects with Norwood Rd and that connects back with Cornith well past the road block up north towards Newnan. Hey, the scenic route is better than a hoard. Sure Buster is made for smashing your way through but it is better to save the smash and grabs for the return trip.

Alicia had been relaxing as James drove, sure they had run into a few issues so far but nothing major. She wanted to drive but she would take her turn at the wheel on the way home. She figured that Ash would focus his anger at her if she was the one behind the wheel when they returned anyways.

"Son of a bitch!" Alicia said as she picked up her rifle from the seat; seeing the massive hoard of well over a hundred trying to get across the road. "Hard right man! That way!" she said pointing down Ralls Rd that was coming up. There were some Walkers already on Ralls Rd, the hoard seemed to be heading all in the same direction; that couldn't be good.

"They're after something," she said as she chambered a cartridge into place. Buster would easily break through the spotted amount of Walkers on the road, for now. The main hoard was behind them; for now.

Seriously, you used a gun? You know that always calls more to the party. It is like saying there is an open bar at a wedding, everyone and their brother wants to join. This time, it was their brother, their mother, their second cousin twice removed, their father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate. Every asshole in the vicinity has decided to join up, you are surrounded by assholes! Yeah, keep firing Assholes!

Once all three of you have pulled back, you manage to get the door shut and blocked before any more of those left in the house get to you. Seems you had a little luck left but it didn't last long, house hasn't been up-kept for a while and while it hasn't had much damage that door doesn't hold long. Maybe just long enough for you to get out the window if you chose that route.

Thing is once you get outside you smell the storm in the air and you can see it in the sky. That really is the least of your problems, you can now hear more Walkers and through the trees you can see things moving. Fucking hell, it is a hoard of mammoth proportions. You hear something else as well, a loud engine roaring from somewhere. Down the driveway and coming around the corner, you see it. BUSTER. Holy fuck... people! At least you figure it is people, living and breathing people cause as far as you know Walkers haven't learned to drive.

Well things could have gone worse for the drive out of Newnan but those headed for Franklin seem to have all the Luck right now. For the drive itself, outside of the incoming weather everything has been coming up roses. The roads have been clear minus one or two Walkers off the side of the road but nothing worth worrying about. Maybe you picked them off, maybe you decided that it was just better to leave walking Walkers alone. Either way you have made most of your trip is rather good time.

That was until you see what is coming up on the horizon. There seems to be a decent amount of Walkers rambling about a large RV unit that looks to have broken down one one side of the road a while ago. Some are just walking off but several of the Walkers seem to be clawing at it, as if there is something on top of it. Granted there is - two women who would probably rather be sipping cool drinks on the beach right now than laying on top of it but you can't see them yet.

Girls, you can however see a vehicle approaching if you just turn your heads and look. The vehicle isn't extremly loud but it is loud enough to get your attention. Maybe this could be your way out. Even one more person could help you get out of this mess. You better hurry though, Lady Luck has been kind enough to bring you two group together without any issue this round but whether or not you get out of this thing without injury or death has yet to be seen.

Don't think you were forgotten ol' CIty of Newnan; you have part of a wall down, the storm is rolling in and most of your good shots are out and about. Guess what? Shit just hit the fan. Before anyone knows what is going on people are starting to come out of the woods around the outer fence and climbing the walls. Some decided that they didn't want to climb the walls, they opted to enter where the wall is down even though Leann is standing guard - she's only one woman isn't she and these folk; whoever they are are good.

We have lost three in Newnan already - one older gentleman that was trying to retrieve a cow tht got outside the outwall. He passed under the line of sight for the woods to get ol' Bessy and before he could scream his throat was slit. He dropped to the ground as a man with a crooked grin smiled. No one heard or saw a thing.

At the other end of Newnan someone climbed the outer wall and picked off a teenage girl who was cleaning up the cars. She though was able to fight for a bit and try to get the man away from her; in the process she let out one hell of a scream that would have given her the title of scream queen if the movies were still being made.

The last one lost was standing right next to Leann, talking to her about what he had seen during his shift as she was about to relive him. He hadn't seen much and he didn't see the knife coming that went straight into the back of his chest . Blood spattering out of his mouth and onto Leann as he caught him and dropped to a knee as he gurgled his last - Rain setting in as the winds picked up. The storm was there and rain was now pouring down from the Ga/Ala line all the way to Douglasville.

*Bad storm has set in at the end of this post - everyone in the RP is now having to deal with rain and winds until further notice.

Jaime Bishop

Jaime could practically hear the angels sing out in chorus once Richard reappeared on the scene. The team's badass mofo was here again, someone who could do something other than hold the horde back and run away! The heavenly trumpeting dropped off the moment Jaime saw his face, however. That wasn't determined survival, that was anger. Anger that was directed at Jaime.

Dick went to work quickly, efficiently, and like a boss, killing three of the muerte in quick succession and knocking aside more. The wire trap was holding, thank the gods! But then Dick smacked Jaime upside the head as punishment for using his real name.

"Siento, siento," he apologized, fidgeting, but there was no time for that. Richard ordered them to fall back, and Jaime was not one to complain about getting away from the hungry walkers. Jaime ran just behind Richard and could have passed him up, but chose not too (the jerk was a little touchy about that sort of thing). Once they were safely secured in the room, the Hispanic youth did what he could, hopefully with help from Dexter (because he knew Dick sure as hell wasn't going to) to barricade the door shut. Thank God for his wire trap holding them back for now.

Once that was done, it was out the window. Funny, Jaime had been climbing on the outside of this house no less than three times in the last hour. He was starting to think of himself as part of the shingles or something. Irrelevant! Think about survival, man! Whilst climbing the outside, he urged Dexter to follow.

"Come on amigo! A little height never killed anyone, but walkers sure have! Andale!"

That's when he heard it. Another glorious chorus of angels, the revving of a loud engine. Sparing a glance on his climb, he could see the vehicle speeding around the corner. People. But that came with its own risk, since more often than not other people only tried to kill you and take your shit, but hey, they can at least be reasoned with! Not at all like that tidal wave of walkers that were emerging from the trees... Jaime kicked it into high gear and practically jumped down, strategically slowing his descent with the properly handholds, grateful he had trained himself in this sort of thing. Once down, he made a mad dash toward the vehicle, hoping to become something other than a pavement pancake, or food for la muerte.

Richard Johnson

Time: Morning.
Weather: Heavy storm.
Location: Off Ralls Road, Troup County. Between Hwy 29 and Hwy 100, just North of Hogansville, GA.
Interacting With: Dexter, Jaime and hopefully the people in the cool as fuck tank-like car.

The little sheep followed Richard’s orders to the letter. Good, they fucking knew better. However one glance out of the window, one sniff of the air and Richard knew that they were fucked. No more hand holding, Richard was out for himself yet again but Jaime was already out and down the front of the building. That left Dexter, whom Richard had discovered was afraid of heights when they’d first discovered this slice of fucking paradise. He shoved his gun back down the back of his pants, safety on, and considered their options.

As the Deadbrains beat on the door that Dexter and Jaime had so successfully blocked up, Richard walked quickly over to Dexter and grabbed the front of his shirt. He pulled his face close to his own and spoke in a harsh, audible whisper. ”I swear to the Lord Almighty, if you leave me alone with only fucking Cheech as company, I will hunt your Deadbrain body down and use you to kill him. Now move your fucking ass down the front of this fucking building.” He let him go with a small shove before turning and running towards the open window.

He swung his legs over and leveraged his feet into the overgrown ivy that covered the entire front and right side of the building. He glared at Dexter for what could be the last time if the dumb prick didn’t decide to follow them. He snorted derisively before his head disappeared beneath the window ledge. He took care but the wind and the rain were whipping him around which slowed his progress a little. He could hear Jaime rustling beneath him and feel the ivy moving with his meagre weight.

However, when the counterweight of Jaime’s body on the ivy was no longer there, Richard lost his footing and fell the remaining distance. He hadn’t looked to see how far he had left and his stomach dropped as he fell. As he hit the ground on his left side, he heard an engine roaring in the nearby distance. Fucking people! YES! His hip was tender but he’d landed on the grass thankfully so it didn’t appear to be too sore, at least not yet.

He got up off the ground and groaned at the tenderness of his body. He felt the rain on his right wrist and looked back at the house to see where he’d fallen from and noticed a piece of his shirt fabric stuck on the ivy about eight feet off the ground. Thank fuck he hadn’t fallen further. He saw the Deadbrains coming out of the wooded area nearby at that point and his chest tightened. No. Fucking. Way. His pot of luck was not about to run on empty just yet, fuck that shit.

He pulled his sawed-off shotgun out of its holster and made a run for it away from the Deadbrains and hopefully to a spot where the people in the fucking amazing tank car would see them. There was a really large patch of darker green field out towards the main road, he’d head in that direction along the driveway as long as he could before the Deadbrains got closer. The others could either follow him or not, that was their choice. He wasn’t sticking the fuck around.

Lorna Dunn

Time: Morning.
Weather: Heavy storm.
Location: On top of a rundown RV, South of Hwy 34, outside Franklin, GA.
Interacting With: Kris and the new arrivals. Avoiding the Walkers.

Lorna and Kris had managed to avoid most of the Walkers by climbing up top but there were still some clambering at the sides of the RV, trying to grab hold of them. She considered waiting until the others wandered off and then taking out the remaining few left but thought that might just draw more attention again. Maybe they could climb inside the RV and see if it was empty and in working order? That was a risk too, but then everything was a risk in this world.

Maybe they were just better off staying silent and still until they had no other choi—was that an engine? Lorna moved her head around and saw it. It wasn’t too loud but it was definitely a working car. Was this their oncoming salvation perhaps? Or maybe just more problems? Either way, a moving vehicle meant people, and people she could deal with. She raised her body up a little from the roof of the RV and raised one of her arms into the air just enough so that they could see her as clearly as she could see them. She waved at the car and hoped that they’d at least run some of the Walkers down or something. This was a risk, she knew it but they had no other choice right now. She had to do what she could to save Kris.

That’s when the rain started… These had better be some good people or Lorna was about to become extremely pissed off.

Kristina Smith

Location: On top of the RV, on Hwy 34, just outside of Franklin, GA
Weather: Thunderstorms
Interacting With: Lorna Dunn & Walkers

Kristina opened up her pack and pulled out the water bottle that she had been filling up back at the creek before shit hit the fan, twisting the cap off Kris quickly took a swig of her water bottle and handed it over towards Lorna. At least they were actually safe on top of the RV, she would occasionally look over the ledge watching some of the walkers heading off in the other direction. Kris looked up at the sky it had been a cloudy day so far and it appeared to be getting much darker as well, and she heard thunder coming from a distance away.

Kristina closed her eyes as she suddenly felt rain drop pelting down at her and Lorna, a little bit of rain wasn't all that bad they were safe for now. She could hear the same engine as well, Kristina looked over towards Lorna maybe their luck was finally changing though Kris wasn't sure if the people in the on coming truck were good people or not. At this point Kristina would rather deal with people then the rotting shambling corpses that were just below them.

Kristina slowly got up to her knees enough for her to be noticed by those in the on coming silver Honda Pilot, Kristina started waving her arms to make herself look much bigger. It was risky but Kristina was willing to do this and Lorna was right next to her if things went south they could make it out together.

Dexter Sterling

● Location: Hoganville, Troup County
● Time: Morning-Afternoon

Dexter kept his distance after he made it up the stairs, hesitating as he turned to face the way he came up. The picture frames came down one after the other, building up across the length of the steps as Jaime went up. That was probably the most impressive idea he's seen in a while, Dexter thought to himself, which in reality was a little saddening that something so relatively mundane was so impressive.

As the wiring went up between the handrails, Dexter simply stood to one side trying to calm himself down and get back in control. He threw his hands up abruptly, running his hands back through his hair nervously as the first of the walkers reached the base of the steps and began to clamber over the picture frames. Dexter glanced over his shoulder and into one of the bedrooms distractedly, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

He was definitely feeling 'out of it' at the time. He didn't want to have to fight the walkers, but even worse he didn't want to have to climb out onto the roof – let alone down three stories. And so Dexter merely stood there frozen until it was time to move, following the others into one of the rooms like a sheep being herded. It didn't take long to barricade up the door, there was plenty of furniture to move.

Dexter moved the last piece of furniture he could bother with, a nightstand, against the shambled together barricade before turning. Fuck, he really didn't want to go out that window. Couldn't they wait it out in here, maybe the barricade would hold up? No, they had to go and he knew it.

Richard took no time to harass Dexter on what was going through his mind, they both were well aware he wasn't a fan of what they had to do. I swear to the Lord Almighty, if you leave me alone with only fucking Cheech as company, I will hunt your Deadbrain body down and use you to kill him. Now move your fucking ass down the front of this fucking building. " As he stumbled a step or two in Richard's grip, Dexter glared knives at the man. But he withheld saying anything, and stuck to his silent demeanor. In a way, what Richard said was comforting, to some extent.

" Come on amigo! A little height never killed anyone, but walkers sure have! Andale! " Jaime was already heading down without a hiccup, and then Richard after him. Dexter made his way to the window relcutantly, looking down after them as the rain started to kick up a little.

He remembered being in high school. Raider team was the highlight of his young life then, and recalling his time in JROTC brought him comfort. Dexter was at every competition there was for each season, his favorite consistently being the competitions at Catoosa, as well as at the Riverside Military Academy. They were some of the farthest to travel, but teams from across the state showed up to compete there. The challenges were the most extensive at Catoosa and Riverside.

But this was different. He was to descend the side of a house with no sure grip. At the Raider competition, the courses had walls about ten feet high to climb over, which was nothing to bat an eye at when you had your team to help you. There was the Tower of Heaven at Catoosa, which was quite tall but even then it had rungs to hold on to. There were harnesses for rope bridges to keep you from dropping into creeks. And most importantly there was always a team holding your hand through it all.

Dexter cleared his throat, realizing his knuckles were white against the sill of the window. Richard was on the ground now, wincing off the affects of a short fall. There was a terrifying looking vehicle in the distance, right off the driveway on the road. The others seemed to be heading towards it, but Dexter wasn't as enthusiastic. He bet as soon as he got to the safety of the ground, his head would be blown off by whatever psychos were in that metal can on wheels. Walkers or potentially murderous strangers? He didn't like either option.

He slid his backpack off of his shoulder and held it out of the window, dropping it. He didn't want it getting in the way while he climbed down, and watched it crumple over as it hit the grass below. He expected to follow his backpack out the window and begin his descent, but instead found himself still standing at the window.

Fuck, move your ass douchebag. He told himself, gripping the edge of the window. Dexter pulled himself up, putting one leg out first and then the other. He lowered himself carefully, hugging the wall for dear life. Dexter's foot found its way into the ivy, but it was loose from the others having already put a lot of weight on it. He chewed the fuck out of his lower lip with anxiety as he remained sprawled out beneath the window, trying to ensure he had somewhere to put his weight. The siding was slick from the rain and as he lowered one palm against it he took note of the fact he was probably going to die.

Dexter looked like a retarded starfish coming down. Each movement came dramatically slowly, one limb at a time that tested its grip before shifting into it and lowering the next limb. When he finally approached the ground he looked over his shoulder and assessed the distance – close to two meters or so above the ground. Dexter let go and leaned back, his knees buckling as he came into contact with the grass, falling onto his ass. He exhaled as he rolled around onto his hands and knees and pushed himself to his feet. After grabbing his backpack and subconsciously dusting himself off, Dexter broke into a jog to catch up with his companions . . .

Time: Morning → Afternoon
Location: Newnan → On the road
Interacting with: Maria and Caesar

Meg was startled in her seat as she heard Maria's somewhat muffled voice. She turned in her seat, out of the window and saw Maria sitting in the passenger seat of an SUV not too far off from the truck she had chosen. Grinning to herself, Meg attempted to point at her best-apocalyptic friend. "Definitely! We still gotta settle who the best hunter is in this camp!" Meg joked. Maria was definitely much better, but Meg's competitiveness refused to back down without a fight, no matter how many times she would lose - at least it was fun.

With Papi Gonzalez taking the map in his hand, Meg returned her attention back to her own problems as he rattled off the directions before sinking into his own seat. "North to 34... West... Straight..." Meg muttered to herself, trying to keep the directions branded in her memory so she wouldn't have to disturb papa bear beside her.

Pulling out of the carpool, the two eventually set off. During their ride, the weather suddenly sucked dick, but at least there wasn't any undead surprise waiting for them on the road. Other than the slowly worsening weather, the trip was actually okay. Meg wasn't even feeling tensed anymore. She simply decided to drive past any walkers they found on the road, not bothering to waste energy in killing things that couldn't even catch up to a moving vehicle.

It wasn't long before there was something peeking over the horizon. Meg slowed down the truck as she attempted to peer as far she could to see what the hell was out there. Was that even fucking human? It looked like a figure carrying another - possibly a girl - towards a house away from a giant hoarde.

"Caesar--" Meg nudged the man beside her, trying to get him to pay attention to the bloody mess in front, "now don't panic, but I think I found hell. Survivors and trouble."

Time: Morning → Afternoon
Location: Newnan
Interacting with: Vivian

Sidd watched from afar as his sister settled down inside the truck, tossing her belongings behind her and checking the map again. One again, like every time Meg would go on expeditions, Sidd prayed to any deity still out there - even the fictional TV ones for extra measure.

And as soon as she was gone, so was Sidd.

He returned to the one sanctuary he felt most comfortable in. Settling down on his knees beside the planted sage with the small watering can filled with liquid settled beside him. He checked the leaves carefully, looking for any unwanted insects or weeds surrounding the herb.

"So, how goes our little experimental drug store?"

As if channelling his inner Meg, he quipped "not on the level of Breaking Bad just yet, if you want the drugs." Sidd then turned to see the visitor, only to find it to be Vivian.

Now, as much as Vivian was terrifying, Sidd knew she was useful and their only hope for survival if anything went wrong medically. What was he to judge anyway? This was the apocalypse, any laws and morals had to be thrown out of the window if you wanted to survive - even a coward like Sidd knew that. "What are you doing here?" He asked, his voice a lot more quieter this time as he turned back to the sage.

Ashton Holloway

Location: Hwy 34, outside of Franklin, GA
Interacting With: Maria

Ash suppressed tightening his jaw and balling his fists (as best he could anyway) at the mention of James driving away with his 'Buster. It was best to ignore it for the meantime, anyway. Being as there was nothing he could do, it wasn't profitable to dwell on it. Still, he had a connection with that vehicle; it was sentiment for the most part. If it were possible to have loyalty to an inanimate object, that would be the best description.

"It's like your bow. Used to belong to Dad." Ashton's voice was soft, but his face was anything but. "My father started a distillery. We 'stilled before, it just wasn't what you'd call legit. Anyway, the startup wasn't exactly enough to get a fleet of shiny new trucks, so our motor pool was ...eclectic... One of which was an old Canadian Freightliner with a sleeper cab, used to belong to a brewery. Last owners outfitted it custom as a dump truck, if you'd believe that. Fucking massive dump truck with a sleeper cab, I got no clue what they were thinking. The good Captain was feeling wistful. Relaxed even, talking about something near and dear to him, from before the world collapsed. He gave a good chuckle before continuing.

"But, it's easy to fix, dump truck or not. Damn near every part can be made to fit in the damned thing, and it's easily machinable. The old diesels, I tell ya. Anyway, we installed a soft cover and a loading ramp, and BAM, we had ourselves our cargo truck. It was the most out-of-place monstrosity you'd ever see at a truck stop, but the old girl kept Dad's business alive. Kept us alive. Ugly truck or not, it did what it was supposed to and would not die."

His demeanor changed, shifting back to the harder with which the Newnan Group was familiar. "After Atlanta fell, me an a few my men left out of Dobbins. Turned into a real shitstorm. Trekked back home to Virginia, settled in for a while. Good people, mostly. Had a setup - not as good as Newnan, but good."

"A megaherd came at us from the direction of Charlottesville. Had us pinned in for seven fucking weeks. We had food, water, walls. Just didn't have a way out. I figured, if we could get everyone into the trucks, we could get out, maybe outrun the Herd. We just didn't have anything that could make a hole for people to escape from. But we had that old rebuilt Freightliner."

"Well, I'm an engineer, goddamnit. I know how to use a wrench and a blowtorch, and the damned thing already had monster pushbars installed. Reinforced, converted to run on alcohol (had plenty around), bigass cow catcher on the front. I turned that machine into a BEAST. Took me over a month, working with the tools I had, but when I was done, the Hordebuster was birthed. The old girl kept us alive again, and I'd be lyin' if I said I didn't take perverse fucking glee seeing all those dead bastards flying around like rag dolls."

"We didn't all get out, owing to the stupidity of a few. But that's a different story."
He fell quiet for a long time, absorbed in his own thoughts.

His thoughts were abruptly cast aside. The number of Walkers had increased significantly. They seemed to be coming out of the woods, some with particular interest in an RV. The reason was obvious; fresh meat on top. They were sparse around the roadward side of the Winnebago, which looked like the best place to make an extraction. The SUV was a large personal conveyance. While not as large as the RV, it would be the spectacularly lucky Walker that would get on top. He thumbed open both power sunroofs, front and backseat.

Ash pulled his Detonix .45 and handed out to Maria. "I'm betting they need our help. I'm pulling alongside. Cover them up front, they can hop in through the rear. Ready?"

James Grady

Location: Ralls Rd, Stately Residence Driveway just off of.
Interacting With: Alicia, new Survivors

"One little, two little, three little Deadians..." sang James, watching the occasional Walker get struck by, and immediately flung away from, the roadbeast that was The Hordebuster. "Four little, five little, six little... Hot damn, Alicia, those're people! The breathin' kind!" He laughed with joy and triumph, be it possibly premature for either.

"Let's go say hi!"

The jovial boar-wrangler readied his pistol and swung the 'Buster in the right direction to come alongside the survivors. He gunned it, smashing the occasional corpse into its component parts, until he was within spitting distance. Reaching back, he opened the suicide door leading to the cab and yelled, "Ya'll better RUN!"

Gun in hand, he had no intention of being taken unawares by the random walking medical cadaver. Of course, he was no fool; he had no intention of being taken unawares by some random asshole who wanted the truck, either. Whatever the case, there was a MASSIVE horde on the way, and James had no intention of being there when they showed up.

From the looks of things, that would be in about ninety seconds. "Tick tock, gentlemen. Tick muthafuckin' tock.

Shit happens and when it does, it happens fast. Life in general comes quickly, death can come even quicker. Three new comers manage to make their way down and out of the house that is quickly getting swarmed by Walkers. They are hungry and you all look like a breakfast buffet at the Holiday Inn. Sadly, it is no time to take a holiday. What happens next was the last thing one expected.... Lady Luck... Fuck you you assfish....

Alicia Gonzalez

Location: Ralls Road
Interacting With: James, Newcomes, Hoard

"Muevete!!!" Alicia yelled towards the three that were running from the house as if they were in some bad episode of Big Brother. Slipping out the side window she perched herself in the window and rested her rifle on the top of the truck to steady it. Taking aim she popped off a round that sped by Richard head and exploded the brains of a Walker that was quickly coming up behind him.

"Hurry your asses up!" Bolting another cartrigde into place and taking aim again.

The thing is when one's sight is on the target they miss what is around them. Before anyone knew it Alicia was grabbed from behind by multiple Walkers and pulled back. She fought and screamed but the first bite was her last.... The Walkers teeth sunk into the side of her neck and ripped through her juggular.

"Papi..." was all she could manage to gurgle out as more fell on to her and began to devour her.

What luck was against Group one is with Group Two currently. The rain is making things difficult for everyone but the worst that happens to the living this round is a quick slip of one of the girls, Lorna, which lands her directly in the back seat through the sun roof. It hurt like hell but it will end up being nothing more than a few bruises. Nothing is broken and the slip managed to speed you getting into the SUV with the driver and his navigator.

The rain is making it difficult for the Walkers, it is slowing them by causing them to slip on the road or get stuck in the mud. Most are not able to make it around to the far side of the RV to pose any real threat. There are a few scattered about that are making their way towards you but if you move quick you should be able to high tale it out of there before anything else major happens. So move your asses!!!

Whoever these fuckers are and whereever they comes from they are not your usual rambling down the road folks - this was a planned assault from all sides. Before anyone knows it, one of the Newnanites drops from the inner wall - shot right between the eyes with a long distance rifle.

This opened up a chance and three scaled the inner wall and are now within the city of Newnan Proper. Though that gun shot was anything but silent but shots being fired and heard around Newnan are not uncommon. Plenty pop off shots to take out Walkers regularly. A couple of teens though see the small group scale the wall and run to alert people but that is on the north west side of town. Right now Vivian and Sid are near the center of town in the medical garden and Leann is dealing with a shit storm as ten come out of the woods and start charging through the down part of the wall.

Vivian Ormerod

Location: Newnan
Interacting With: Sid

"Just checking where we stand currently in case the groups that are out on runs right now don't find what we need. Sooner or later we are going to have to start manufacturing our own medications. Sooner we can..." Vivan started but she was cut short as from behind a 9mm bullet hit her in the back and ripped out her front chest cavity; blood spurting out of her mouth as she dropped to her knees.

A man standing behind her looking as if he was about to attend a business meeting was grinning from ear to ear. "Greetings," he said in a joyful voice as pointed the gun towards Sid, an old style six shooter. Squeezing the trigger nothing happened. Vivian giggling and gurgling as she pressed her hand to her chest. The bullet had done a lot of damage but managed to miss her heart, hit her lung yes but she was not gone, yet.

"Sid, run," she said as that demented looked came over her features that would flash from time to time. Usually when she added someone to her hit list.

Leann McCormick

Location: Newnan
Interacting With: Ambush Folk

People were coming out of the woods, why couldn't it be walkers? Walkers were easier to deal with. Pulling out Walkie, she sent word to the center of town that they were under attack and raised the alarm. Two quick chimes coming from the clock tower before it went silent again. Everyone in town would know now to take arms and be ready.

Attaching the walkie back to her hip she took aim and dropped two back to back before they could breach the out wall but the rest managed to get through. The fight had begun and now with the firing of guns, walkers were slowly starting to come towards the town.

"Shit..." Leann muttered as she scaled down the ladder to go after the rest.

Victoria "Yer Screwed" Taylor

Interacting with: Jonas @SgtEasy
Location: Whitesburg Vicinity

An overwhelming surge of pain shot through her body like a flash of lightning. One moment there was nothing, and the next a world of pain as she found herself falling to the ground. The source of her agony seemed to originate from the fact that her foot was in an unnatural position when she fell unexpectedly. The sight of her fractured ankle elicited a cry and yelp of both pain and horror, as the realisation dawned onto her. She was done for. There was no way she could run now, with her ankle in its current condition.

Jonas had turned back and started apologising even though it wasn't his fault. It wasn't anyone's fault really, not even the root of the tree she had tripped over. It had every right to be there. It was just how the world worked. Things happen for no reason, especially bad ones. If it was your time, there was no stopping it. Victoria felt Jonas's hands wrapping around her before lifting it into the air. Limping by herself would slow them down too much, and she acknowledged his action as the desperate choice that needed to be done. They would have to head for the safety of the edge of the forest, or perhaps they were simply running into yet another danger, like pawns in the larger game of chess.

There was nothing they could do now with such a horde of walkers at their tail. The couple could only do what they can and hope for the best. The world worked in mysterious ways, and no one could predict the future.

Maria started to feel the rain suddenly hitting her and getting inside the car while Ashton drove towards their intended destination, she quickly pulled the window back up preventing anymore rain from coming through. She leaned back in the seat looking over at Ashton seeing the rage as he gripped the wheel, which she didn't mean to intend to get the man angry. But Maria listened she was actually interested on how the Horde Buster was actually was built. "You are a great engineer then, you made an old truck into a complete badass." Maria said with a smile she tucked a stray strand of her wet brown hair behind her ear.

As they continued their drive down Hwy 34, as they started getting closer towards their intended destination Maria noticed an RV that a small group of Walkers had taken an interest in. The moment Ashton got close enough Maria looked to see who it was on top of the RV, who she saw shocked her.

Maria looked at the Detonix .45 that Ashton had handed her. "That's my sister up there!" Maria hadn't seen Lorna or Kristina in the last three months, she feared the worse that they had died at some point during her time in Newnan. The moment Ashton rolled down the power window sunroof Maria quickly opened the door a particularly ballsy walker was close enough to the door for Maria to suddenly slam the door open right in the walker's face, causing it to stumble and then fall onto the pavement. Maria quickly shot the walker in the head and closed the door, she knew that the rain had already slowed down a number of the walkers but she wasn't going to risk getting out there either.

Maria quickly stood up in the front seat sticking her head out the sunroof. "Lorna and Kristina hurry up and get your asses over here!" Maria yelled, the rain caused the roof of the RV to become slippery which made Lorna slip and ironically fall into the back seat of the RV. Kristina stood there in shock as well, tears started going down her face she had thought her sister died from what Richard had told them back when she didn't return from that run. When Lorna slipped and fell into the back seat of the SUV Kristina didn't hesitate with jumping off, Kristina managed to land on the roof of the SUV and then climbed down into the interior of the Pilot.

The first thing Kris did she quickly lunged herself towards Maria and hugged her tightly, Maria returned the same gesture. "I thought you were dead.." Kristina said in a muffled voice burying her head into the shirt of her sister. Maria simply smiled wiping away a tear from her face as well looking over towards Ashton and then Lorna who looked like she was in a bit of pain from the fall. "I thought I was going to die back then as well." Maria said with a soft sigh before turning her attention back towards Lorna and pulled her friend into a tight hug as well. She was so grateful for Lorna watching over her younger sister. "Thank you so much for watching over her.. Maria finally said wiping away a tear, she knew Lorna stuck true to her word and was internally grateful for that.

Maria finally pulled away sighing softly she looked over at Ashton. "We were in a group three months ago, this is my sister and my friend Lorna." Maria finally introduced them both to Ashton. Kristina looked towards Ashton and smiled slightly towards him. "Nice to meet you. And thank you for saving us." Kristina said extending her hand towards him.

Shit. Fuck. Cunt. Twat. Bollocks. Richard’s feet slipped and slid on the wet gravel and grass as he ran at full pelt towards the most amazing looking truck he’d ever seen. He stumbled a few times, the groans and moans and snarls coming from behind had him falling all over himself. A bullet whizzed right past his head! He heard a Deadbrain drop behind him and felt the splatter hit the back of his head.

”That could have fucking hit me, god fucking damn it!” He spouted off his anger at the hot as shit woman that was firing her gun in his direction. He’d like to fire his gun in her direction, if you know what I mean. Wait, was she Mexican? Fuck, his dick was confused right now. That bullet lit a fire under his ass like nothing ever had though. Not even that one time his brother, Tommy, had set his ass on actual fire. That annoying fucking prick. He’d thought he was so funny…

Richard was soon snapped out of his daydream of memories gone by when he saw the Mexican chick was going to get swarmed. ”WATCH YOUR B—“ It was way too late, she was now the appetiser to at least a dozen Deadbrains. Shit. Fuck. Dick. Ass. His heart was pounding in his chest as he ran by Jaime. That was something that he’d never have been able to do in a normal situation but that damn bullet had pumped every ounce of adrenaline that he had through his entire body. He grabbed the side of the truck and hurled his body inside. He was drenched, covered in Deadbrains, mud and grass stains but he was inside a working vehicle that could get them the fuck out of here.

It was then that he saw the driver. Just his fucking luck. Two fucking ethnics were the ones that were coming to his damn rescue. The now chowed upon Mexican at least had the fact she was hot and female on her side, this coon on the other hand was definitely going to piss Dick off. He could feel it in his god damn fucking bones. He hated having to fucking rely on other people, nevermind a fucking nigger. ”Lord almighty, give me fucking strength…”

He had barely enough patience to deal with Dirty Sanchez let alone enough to go around to deal with fucking Banjo Lips here too. Dick scowled at the driver and spat out of the open door, the glob of spit landed on the gravel outside. He watched to see Jaime almost at the truck doors, he hadn’t been that far behind himself, and Dexter had actually made it out and down the front of the house and was now running for the truck too. Hot fucking damn, go you kid. He could shout some words of encouragement but why waste his already limited breath? He manned the window he was sitting by. He’d pulled his Ruger out again and had it ready to fire if he needed to. The urge to put the barrel to the head of the driver was almost overwhelming, but Dick wasn’t that fucking stupid. He needed a getaway driver and this one was already here. No use to wasting him. Yet.

What a god damn stroke of luck!

"Lorna and Kristina hurry up and get your asses over here!"

Lorna had planned to help Kris off the RV first but she had heard her name. The voice was familiar. It couldn’t be… could it? No… Lorna spun around too quickly and she slipped on the now slick RV. She fell off but, as luck would have it, landed right in the back seat of the truck directly through the sunroof. Not even if she had tried. Seriously. She grimaced at the pain, her eyes screwed up tight, that landing had been a harsh one. She groaned as she felt her muscles contract. That was going to leave one hell of a bruise. She then remembered why she had fallen and opened her eyes, looking around the truck frantically. Maria. She was alive!

Lorna felt her throat tighten and she coughed to hide the emotion that was welling up inside. She’d done it, she’d found Maria for Kris and kept Kris safe, just like she’d promised. A weight almost lifted from her shoulders right then and, for the first time in months, felt momentarily safe. She watched as Kris and Maria were finally reunited after three long months. Lorna never thought this moment would actually happen; but there it was, right in front of her very eyes.

She couldn’t get a word out, her throat was so tight and it wasn’t until Maria grabbed her in a tight hug that she felt she could believe what was really happening.

"Thank you so much for watching over her…”

"I keep my promises, Mar. I couldn’t let you down. Hell, I couldn’t let Kris down." Lorna reached out and brushed another tear away from Maria’s cheek with the back of her finger. She looked to Kris and gave her a large, warm smile. ”I can’t believe that asshat piece of shit lied to us… No wait, strike that. I fucking can.” She muttered to herself and sucked her teeth behind her lips. She should be happy but her moment of relief and joy was now being overshadowed with anger at Dick the Dickhead Tosspot.

Lorna barely registered the introduction to Maria’s friend at first but she shook herself out of her internal rage and mustered an appraising look and nod of the head to Ashton. She noticed the Captain bars on his jacket and raised an eyebrow. ”Well Captain, I do believe I owe you a whole shit ton of drinks if I can ever find them. It’s a pleasure and thanks for the ride. We’d have been goners if it weren’t for this indispensable stroke of luck. Thanks, both of you, for getting us out of that shit-show.”

Lorna returned her attention to Maria and looked her over. She looked healthy enough and kinda cleaner than Lorna expected. "You both look pretty... clean..." Her voice trailed off and she raised an eyebrow and couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of her comment. Really, Lorna just relished the thought of a hot fucking shower right now and these two looked liked they might know just where she could get one.
