Open Sea

Fadel's body was suddenly jerked backwards by the sudden burst of speed from the ship, the bellows or death throws of the a single being showing them out. The last remnants of his creation crumbling to the ground after the Gorilla Marine's spinning attack. He felt a twinge of pain, longing maybe. It hurt to watch ones creation destroyed after working so hard to make it. Soon, Drum Island became a distant shadow as the ship slowed to a crawl, the convicts stream of fire dieing out.

It seemed that the crew had gained two new members. In truth, Fadel had no idea why they decided to kill hundreds for two, it made little sense to him. For once since he had joined the crew, he began to doubt his captains ability to lead. It pained him, but killing so many to break out death row inmates had to have had some meaning. He planned to ask Bogard, but this didn't seem to be a good time.

With a sigh, Fadel walked over to a fallen Rayne. He recognized this man from somewhere, but he couldn't put his finger on it. With a shrug his carefully picked him up and carried the man over to Bogard, laying them side by side. Doctor Fadel took over, no longer high on his own adrenaline. With a flick of his wrist vines grew around Rayne's ankles and wrists, holding him down. His injuries were severe, so much so that Fadel was afraid he might fail to save the young mans life, but he was Doctor, and he was trained, he vowed, to save his patients lives.

With that in mind, Fadel went to work. He would have rather done this in the privacy of his own room, but it seemed that Rayne was in critical condition. A blood stain on his white dress shirt led him to find a puncture wound near his heart. Thankfully, it wasn't deep enough to affect any organs. Gritting his teeth, Fadel summoned vines that stretched into his room and grabbed a plethora of tools. One happened to be a pot. Reaching into the kitchen, two vines took a quickly grown Valerian root and boiled it. Taking the tea, the vines rushed back to Fadel. Tea in hand, he slipped it into Rayne's mouth, which he subconsciously drank. Instantly, he stabilized, falling into a deep sleep. Another vine grabbed disinfectant and rubbed it over the wound, no doubt a painful experience. Multi tasking, Fadel grew a small prickly pear cactus in which contained astringent and antiseptic qualities. Taking one of the pads, he quickly peeled it, ignoring the stabbing needles. Putting the raw flesh of the fruit over the wound would help it heal, especially since it was enhanced when grown by him.

Another vine brought him needles and twine, in which he used to stitch up the wound. Wiping away any dried blood, Fadel felt drained, mentally and physically. His head hurt, especially for over use of his power, but he pushed himself to keep going. With Rayne finished, he turned to Bogard who was speaking with Dirk. He could have been a little bit less hard on the guy.

A free vine quickly scribbled on the white board that he had left on the ship before. "You want me to look you over? it read as he placed it in front of the blonde, and everyone else on the ship except Dirk. Bogard roar of pain didn't look so good. Growing a Devil Claw, he handed it to his Captian, that would lessen the pain.

Dirk Messir

Ah. The captain was awake. And it was like he knew exactly what Dirk was about to say before he passed out... odd. For the first time in about a week or so, Dirk stared at Sunny with a frown and a tilted head, re-pondering his answer before he stated it.

'I'm going to get stronger,' Dirk offered quietly. 'I'd like you to help me do that. And all the other people on the boat too,' he called out somewhat more loudly, trying to draw everyone's attention, 'I am in need of training. In time for the next fight we have. Otherwise I'll.'

Dirk hesitated to say this out loud. He'd rather not admit weakness, him being a master of the Six Styles and all, but... he hung his head in a way that hid his eyes behind the rim of his hood, mildly despondent with the situation.

'Otherwise I'll die. And everyone else might want to train too anyway. So.'

RED HOOD PIRATES

Bogard Sunny x GrandLine

@JmerlRobot @LokiLeo789 @BCTheEntity @Tmitche23 @dragonmancer

Bogard really didn’t want to move his head. Even that small motion had sent a horde of pain down his back and neck. Still, he nodded in appreciation and thanks to the pain was forced to attempt to grab the plant with flicks of his tongue. He stretched out as far as possible in hopes of grasping its stem or leaves in his mouth.

The moment he had chewed it and felt the oncoming numbness, he continued on with his conversation with Dirk. Bogard was just happy that he was willing to work harder to change. To not let himself be convinced of remaining the same.

He grinned warmly towards the sky and sighed a air of relief. “That’s good, I’m happy you've been thinking about it too. Either way, if you hadn’t, I wouldn’t of let you die. Neither of us would’ve. You're the First Mate of the Red Hood Pirates. That'd suck if you died.”

“. . . You’re right about us all needing to train too. These Marines are only getting stronger the further we travel down the GrandLine. Quite frankly,” He glanced over to Xerxes beside him. “I’m afraid none of us would be a match for him or that guy he was fighting on Drum Island. We need to get even stronger than the us we know today.”

His expression lost its innocent as he forced himself through the horrendous pain to sit up on his elbows. He looked towards Jackal with a profound seriousness. “I was suppose to break you two out. You were suppose to have information on my past. Talk big guy, I need this info.”

I had a silent and confident posture, with arms crossed and eyes assumingly staring hidden underneath my knightly helmet. Despite my stance, I was suddenly confused at this man's questioning. "I do not recall anything about you, or this crew for this matter. All I know now is that my former crew mate has joined you. That being said I am sorry to say that I truly have no knowledge of who you are. I can only assume you are the captain, what is your name?" I asked, tilting my head a bit and wondering further on the thought. Was I really suppose to know this person? He definitely didn't look familiar, perhaps he was refering to his pirate crew's legacy, which I was still oblivious too regardless. While waiting for a response I glanced over at Xerxes, still confused and bewildered on how much he had changed since I last saw him, he was practicly a different person and didn't give off the same, heartless monstrosity of a person he once did, so perhaps this change was for the better.

Rayne

    Location:
  • Open Sea

Rayne's eyes slowly opened, the stabbing pain in his chest now just a dull ache. He felt as if he had just took a two mile swim in the sea. Like death. Slowly, he lifted his tired body up, his dress shirt falling away to revel his white bandages. A frown formed on his face. Looking around, he found himself on the Red Hoods ship, and the open sea all around them. How had the got here again! Memoires of the days events rushed through his head. Just a few hours ago he was on deaths row, now he was back in the open sea.

Struggling to put himself into sitting position, he listened to the conversation going on in front of him. Bogard was reprehending the little white haired guy what he recognized to be Dirk from his Wanted Poster. For a man with a 100,000,000 Belli bounty on his head he was quiet weak. Surprisingly so. Clutching his chest, memories of a haggard child with raven hair stood watching his brethren suffer. It was him. It hurt to be weak, it was….frustrating. Watching Dirk, he began to see a little bit of himself in there, or so he thought.

There was on problem though. How could Bogard expect his to just 'get' stronger. Strength and skill didn't grow on trees. Dirk was smart enough to answer that and ask for it himself. If he wanted strength, who was he to deny it.

"Saying and doing are two different things." he began, getting to his feet. His once pristine white dress shirt fell to the floor, reveling his bare chest underneath. He was remarkably fit for his build. Turning to Jackal who had been referring to him, he nodded in appreciation. He was quite a loyal pirate.

"This Messenger broke us out. That's all I know. But that's not cause for disappointment, she must of wanted us with you." he explained, hoping Bogard's powers of deduction were as strong as his. "All of you. It best to assume that we will be considered threats to the World Government, and be ready to be treated as such. Getting stronger physically is one thing, mentally is a whole 'nother ball game." he announced. "If you will accept me and Jackal into your crew, I'll teach you what I know." he began before walking over to Dirk.

"Can I borrow a cutlass?" he quipped, hand out. If Dirk wanted training, he would get it.

Dirk Messir

Dirk nodded in turn at Sunny, and then again at the new explosion guy, as they each finished their speeches. Then, upon explosion guy's request for a cutlass, Dirk nodded once more and pulled one out, handing it over to him; though it wasn't necessarily obvious at a glance, Dirk had had the foresight to acquire each cutlass' sheath as well, leaving just the kitchen knife to potentially damage his outfit, though it was light enough that this risk was minimal. He in turn pulled out a cutlass of his own, being quite sure that he'd need to defend himself in the near future, disconcerting as the prospect was. This wouldn't be like with the giant monkey person; this was a comparatively controlled environment, where his own risk of death was quite low, even given his heavily-bruised state. And to be sure, the risk that he'd accidentally kill any sparring partners was all but zero.

'I have one cutlass and a knife left,' he stated. 'Does anybody else want them for training with?'

Samehana

Black Shark

Elfen Island, Grand Line
@Pacifista @Buddha @Hillan @j8cob @Arakadin

With their new choreboy and free food in tow, the group of three made their way out of the Valiant Angler with little issue. Though, it appeared that the busy, yet peaceful atmosphere of the town had grown more tense in the time that Freya and Samehana had “enjoyed” while lounging at the Angler. It didn’t take much to understand that something had happened. And it was no small coincidence that whatever it was went down not long after the Golden Fleece arrived on the island. ”If I didn’t know better, I’d think that our captain wasn’t following the whole ‘stay out of trouble’ thing.” Samehana remarked, clicking her teeth. If her assumption was right, then she hoped that Sancho was at least putting the training she and Church had given him over the last month to good use. It would’ve been a shame if the boy was taken out before he got strong enough for her to have a proper duel with him again. If worst came to worst, the golden-haired captain might’ve at least had Church with him, right? Her suspicions about Sancho being the cause for the disturbance were all but confirmed as she heard chatter about some “golden-haired fluff wielder” causing a commotion over by the town hall. Something about defending those who dared to train their guns on a certain “King Julian”.

”Dan, you wouldn’t happen to know the way to the town hall, would you~? I’d be a bad tourist if I didn’t try to at least take a look at the town’s important buildings.” she inquired, somewhat jokingly. This would be a good time to test whether the non-descript man’s navigational skills were at least a little bit better than his skills as a waiter. Ultimately, Samehana just didn’t want to miss any action. Besides, the crew hadn’t been away from the ship for very long yet. And having the three of them head back to a presumably empty Argo hardly seemed like a fun use of time. ”If you’re quick about it, I’ll just tell you which ship’s ours so you can just hang out while Frey-Frey and I do our sightseeing.” she added, hoping that the offer might have mollified any complaints Dan might’ve had about the request. Though the Fishwoman found it a bit strange how quiet the man had become since they left the Valiant Angler, she trusted that he wouldn’t pull any funny business like attempting to steal the already stolen Marine vessel. And, if she were wrong, then maybe Spiril of all people would be there to defend the ship, right? Heh.

Zepp Kisaragi

Drum Island
@NachoBachoPacho @Ira @Hillan @CannedBread

In the split second that Zepp diverted his attention from Jax due to the sound of the battle between Lieutenant Kahurangi and the colossal wooden bodhisattva, the marksman had disappeared from Zepp’s clutches. “Damn. Looks like I’m a bit more out of it than I thought after that Sunny kid’s last attack. Shoulda slapped the seastone half on first.” Zepp muttered as he watched the gorilla-formed Lieutenant burst out through the statue and plummet towards the ground with the entire gargantuan structure bursting into a shower of splinters in the wake of his attack. As impressive a feat as it happened to be, however, it didn’t stop the Red Hoods from escaping with the two prisoners. And it certainly didn’t solve the question of just who the individual was that’d broken the former Sunny Massacre pirates’ bindings in the first place. He’d have to check if there was any concrete information on a woman wearing a skull head ornament when he got the chance.

In any case, this marked yet another loss for the Marines. And worse yet, on the day where one of the primary factors in the PR disaster that was the Conomi Archipelago Massacre was to be executed. And, to top it all off, Vice Admiral St. Laurant was put in bad shape as well. “It’s gonna be a real nightmare doing the paperwork for this… Maybe I can convince Johnnyboy to do it.” Zepp mumbled, disappearing from his spot.

“If ya shout any louder, we’ll get noise complaints from all the way in Mariejois. Pipe down, will ya?” the bloodied captain remarked, seemingly appearing out of nowhere a short distance behind Anaru. Despite still leaking blood and generally looking like a mess at the moment, Zepp still looked as unphased as ever. The sleepy-looking captain cleared his ear with a pinkie as he made his way to the lieutenant’s side. “If you’re gonna try findin’ the other two, I might as well make myself useful and help out, yeah?”

Xerxes

    Location:
  • Open Sea

Rayne grabbed the cutlass from Dirk's hand, sliding the blade across his palm seamlessly, as if he was an expert. By no means was he and expert, but his body seemed to know the movements. Information poured into his head, understanding of the blades reach and how to wield it also came forth. Making a small 'O' with his mouth, he thrust the blade into the air, allowing the sunlight to reflect of the metal blade.

"Let me..." as voice suddenly whispered in his head.

It wasn't his own. His eyes widened in horror, not now of all times. He would kill Dirk, he would show no mercy. He would cut everyone on the boat to little pieces and laugh as he blew he last remains of thier bodies to he depths of the ocean. Rayne struggled to push the voice back but he was weak, tired, and in pain, the perfect time to strike.

"Damn you…Xerxes…" he mumbled angrily.

"Don't worry…I'll only play with him…" it said slyly.

Suddenly Rayne screamed, his head felt as if it was going to spilt open. Them suddenly, he went silent, his body went limp and fell to the floor. But his foot flew forward, catching his falling body, throwing him into lunging position. It was silent for a few seconds, and he remained still. Slowly, he looked up at Dirk, his once unusual light red eyes now bloody crimson under is matted hair. His whole demeanor changed, and killing intent wafted through the ship.

"I'm baaackkk." he slurred before darting at Dirk like a snake. His arm whipped forward, performing a series of quick thrusts at Dirk's arms and legs. The thrusts were fast, but were capable of being dodged. "If you don't dodge or parry, I'll first take your legs, then your arms, and then you stomach. I'll be sure to peel the skin off your face slowly!"he cackled, he blade thrusts becoming faster. He seemed to be taking this to seriously to be just a training session.

Everyone was exhausted from their battle with the Marines on Drum Island and it also left quite a mark on Jax. He was completely useless against the more powerful Marines and he needed to either improve himself. Either that or use his powers to improve the power of his teammates. He would be much more useful in a support position. Doing whatever it takes to make sure his allies can surprise and disrupt the enemies. If that means he rearranges the battle field, then so be it. He would need to work on his stamina of teleportations. To increase the speed of the materialization he will have to decrease the distance. Basically he would only be able to teleport wherever he can see if he wants to do it at an almost instantaneous rate.

" I agree with the Captain, we all need to train. I am going to be honest, I am not much of a fighter. I don't have the explosive as some of you, my powers weren't made for attack. I don't know how to use haki of any kind. I can help you guys increase your powers though. I want to be your support, move you where you can't move. Have you face the right opponent. I am able to make the large scale battle easier for everyone. I want to help all of you become stronger, and using my powers to help your powers flourish is the best way I can do that. Jax thought that if he was able to learn all of his teammates moves and skill sets he would be able to support them more efficiently.

That is until he saw Xerxes toying around with Dirk. Dirk was clearly outclassed and was being threatened by his ally. The explosive man was actually trying to hurt Dirk while making open threats with everyone in sight. Jax materialized quickly to grab Dirk and bring him behind the crazed man "If he is going to be frenzied, then he will probably leave his back open. You know, it's usually not a bright idea to attack a crewmate...in front of the rest of the crew. Abusing those weaker than you are a misuse of your powers and it is not part of being a crew.

I remained mostly silent as the crew made there actions or talked among themselves. However my statue-like presence broke when I saw Xerxes begin to change. It was strange, as if the old Xerxes just possessed the new personality. I didn't know Xerxes too long, but I never saw him like this, I would have never guessed he was bipolar. However that was the least of my concerns, Xerxes ruthless nature came fourth, though I could tell he didn't seem to want to kill Dirk, but nonetheless he was getting far to savage for comfort. I'd leap over and inbetween Xerxes and Dirk who was now brought back by Jax. I had unsheathed my Lance to which I now pointed at Xerxes throat, passed his cutlass, my spare hand was reaching for the great shield across my back. "That's enough Xerxes, your being a bit too rough on our new allies." I said, my tone as stone-cold and serious as it usually is. My eyes behind my face guard were burning like bright candles. Though I kept my eyes and posture facing Xerxes, I would speak to both Jax and Dirk directly.

"Sorry if I'm interrupting something important but I'll take it from here. I don't want my old crew leaving a bad impression." I said a bit more lightly, though still lacking much emotion or breaking away from a serious tone. I watched Xerxes carefully, though unpredictable, I was prepared to follow up with whatever aggressive action Xerxes tries to pull, otherwise I kept my weapon pointed at him, and my spare hand ready to un-holster my shield at a moment's notice despite the position it seems to be in.

Xerxes

    Location:
  • Drum Island

The moment the sniper appeared, he turned heel, his blade becoming a blur and it came to a stop in the area in which they would appear next. Just as he predicted, they reappeared behind him, and quickly found themselves face to face with his blade. His eyes gleamed in excitement as he leered at the duo. The corner of his mouth quirked up, giving them an expression of utter ecstasy before his face screwed up his face, suddenly scowling and smiling warmly at the two.

"Rule Number 1: Never underestimate your enemy." he began, inching the blade closer. "How could you assume I could leave my back open? Neither of you know who your dealing with, yet, I have all the info I need on you." he clucked before dropping the blade from Dirk's neck and taking a few steps back, completely ignoring Jackel's threat. Laughing he started to pace around absent mindedly, twirling his borrowed blade at his side.

"If I'm not mistaken, your name is Jax Farseer, a sniper with a 2,000,000 Beli bounty who has the ability to teleport? Or are you just that fast?" he gibed. "No, it can't be speed, because if it was speed, you would have made more of an impact during today's fight." he giggled, poking at Jax's pride. "But you didn't suddenly appear, there was a delay, which leads me to believe that you used a portal. Am I correct?"

Stopping suddenly, he turned and stared at Jax, his crimson eyes glowing. "You may not be much of a fighter. But you did nothing but watch and talk to the enemy. You were useless. I thank you, all of your help from saving me but if it weren't for Bogard sacrifice. Your doctors overexertion, or my drive and grudge against Marxo and the Marines, both of you would have most likely been dead." he barked. "Even in the life I don't remember, I was fighting Marines. I have the most experience here fighting them, and they will be your greatest enemy."

"And Jackal, he called, turning to the armored man. "How long did you stand in the prison watching? How long did you watch us fight from that tree, only to suddenly jump on-board and say you will follow me? You wear that armor as if your a knight, but what makes you better that a coward. You are no knight Jackal… he sighed as he stuck the tip of the blade into the deck of the ship and took a seat. "All of you. You all say you want to train. I'll give you training, in the only offensive and defensive weapons besides my Devil Fruit. Haki and knowledge. he said simply. "If you wish to learn, I will teach you. As Rayne brought out, your bounties with hit the millions soon with those antics. The World Government will attempt to avoid what happened during the Worst Generation, and do everything to crush you. None of you, especially Jax and Dirk, are ready for that." he yawned, messing with his hair absent mindedly. "From this point on, you will most likely meet against Vice Admirals and Admiral, you just met one in fact. Haki will be your best friend Jax and Dirk Jackal. Understanding your Devil fruit will save your life Bogard. Fadel, I'm not sure what to say about you." he said exasperatedly.

"I may be a psycho, but I haven't survived this long on wits alone. I can train you, all of you, if you want. But I will not allow you to step foot on an inhabited island or engage the Navy until you do become stronger, I along with you. Mark my words." his face became deadpan and his words like hammer blows on them all. He found it disgusting, shameful to have a First Mate who could barely defend himself. He himself would change that.

Bogard D. Sunny x Out at Sea

@JmerlRobot @BCTheEntity @LokiLeo789 @dragonmancer ]

Bogard failed to lean on his elbows as Xerxes stabbed out at Dirk with dark intent surrounding him. For some reason his gut told him it was okay but everyone else seemed so hostile that he was tempted to intervene too.

However, from an inability to move, he stayed on the ground and stared.

He sighed once Xerxes were done and leaned his head back. It wasn't like he could interfere even if he wanted to. There were things that he had to simply let be and Xerxes tough-love was one of them. Bogard closed his eyes then and stretched his awareness out towards the sky.

He suddenly felt really small on board of the ship.

Dirk Messir

Dirk figured something had gone rather wrong the moment the explosive guy did his fall-over-catch-lunge thing. The man promptly declared his intent to kill Dirk, and began taking rapid swipes at the ex-slave which, if not avoided, could easily result in lost limbs. Clearly, though, the guy didn't understand the extent of Dirk's full power: with a muttered 'Paper Art', Dirk's body folded away from each attack, every so often moving to parry with his weapon hand too - though the effectiveness of this parrying was something akin to blocking a bullet with a piece of wood, as every pass visibly bent the cutlass, nearly damaging it but for well-timed twists to actually deflect the opponent's blade away from Dirk himself.

The apparent moment of insanity passed, however, once most of the other crew members began to help defend Dirk. A nice reminder of how much they actually cared about Dirk, despite his apparent lack of usefulness. And then the insanity came back with a prolonged rant about how great he apparently was, and how he was the only person who could help protect them from Vice Admirals and Admirals and such, and at some point during it, Dirk decided that he really didn't like the guy at all. He frowned, staring intensely at the guy with his head tilted, and eventually came to a decision about what to say, stepping forward to retrieve the other cutlass and replacing them both in his coat.

'Don't threaten us. Then I'm willing to let you train me.'

Kilik

Elfen Island
| @NachoBachoPacho | @Rune_Alchemist |

The Erazor Djinn was a mess, a piece of junk floating aimlessly at sea. After nearly a year of exploring and friendship making, he found himself tired, hungry, and weak. These past few weeks especially had been hectic. With a little help from his family back home, he was able to afford a small ship. It was easily capable of holding four people, but five could have became a crowd. Not to soon later, he met Izusa , who sat herself down on his ship drunk and wouldn't leave. She became his First Mate. Following that predicament, he ended up conveniently stuck with a Navigator named Altsoba…who unfortunately was also a drunkard. Fortunately, he was a drunkard with a logpose who led the Erazor Djinn through a hell ride called Reverse Mountain, which happened to rip the ship to near shreds. The ship was barely afloat at this point.

Sitting listlessly on what was left of the deck was the Djinn-13's Captain, Kilik. He was sat bleary-eyed and unkept at the table, munching his way slowly through a mouthful of bread. The last loaf! After gaining a Navigator with a logpose, Kilik stupidity set sail without as much as forethought. At sea with very little food and water, the Djinn-13 crew found themselves starving. And Kilik was eating the last of the food. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, he stopped munching. His jaw went slack. Spit dribbled out of his mouth. His eyes glazed over blankly and his head nodded backwards.
Next thing - whomp!- his head landed mercilessly into the deck.

His stomach snarled and howled and from it came the not-so-subtle undertone of pain. It came in waves and it seemed as though his stomach was slowly digesting itself. He clutched at it, pulling it this way and that in an attempt to silence it but to no avail. It cried even louder. It was a slow pain, eating away at his stomach and leaving him to feel drained and empty. In order to curb his pain, he resumed chewing on the bread, in which he knew would only relieve him for a few hours before his stomach called to him.

Kilik was usually much more upbeat, but the hunger seemed to drain him. It had been a few hours since the crew had laid eyes upon an island, in fact, he would do anything to sea and island with his own two eyes. To even step foot on one at this point would be a dream come true.

As if on que, hustle and bustle and shuffling of feet and yelling of sailors pulled him out of his stupor. Dragging himself to his feet, he watched in awe as the Erazor Djinn slowly drifted itself closer and closer to the island. "Were free.." he mumbled as cracked wood crashed into the oncoming waves creating a deafening roar. Sniffing the air, he found himself enticed by the potential spices and sweets the island had to offer. "Land! he bellowed, excitement rushing through his veins, reinvigorating him. Finally, he could mingle with people who ate more that the drank.

ALTSOBA

Interacting with: @LokiLeo789 @Rune_Alchemist

Altsoba did what he did every day, lay on the ship, with a cigar in his mouth, and wonder why in the world he decided to join a pirate crew. Oh, right, it was because of the alcohol, it always is. Altsoba looked up at the sky, and found himself remembering how he joined this crew, his captain kept pestering him to join, once he saw that log pose on his arm, of course Altsoba declined, several times, but then the damn drunk lady came out, and Altsoba realized there was booze on board, and joined pretty quickly. He intended to abandon them once the booze ran dry, but he found himself growing attached to the two bastards, or as attached as Altsoba could get to people. Before he could continue remembering, his bird began to peck him.

"Screw off Icarus, I don't have any fish to feed you, I don't have anything to feed MYSELF, your food comes after mine, you know that." Altsoba slurred, swinging his hand halfheartedly around, to try and scare off the bird, it never worked, Icarus knew Altsoba longer than anyone else here, and knew that he was far too hungover to actually bother to hit him.

Altsoba was about to continue trying to get the bird off of him, but the captain muttered something under his breath. "Were you talking bad about me under your breath, captain?-" then he heard the sailors, and practically ran to the front of the ship, or stumbled, as he was rather hungover still.

"Land! finally! our supplies were running so low, I expected Icarus to eat my eyes, during the night." Altsoba mused, before Icarus landed on his shoulder, and squawked at him loudly. "Should I get the pervert? or are you gonna take one for the team for once?" Altsoba asked his captain, referring to the first mate of the crew, while exhaling several smoke rings.

~Izusa Yukima~

Izusa's body was limply hanging over the railing of the ship, as if she had a bad case of seasickness, fox mask pushed to the side of her head. Normally, her usual routine would be to sit in the most concealed location she could find, and drink all the alcohol she could get her thieving mitts on. Today though, or at least, ever since coming to the Grand Line, it had been a different story. After the royal screw up that was Reverse mountain, it had been like this.

a cursed lack of alcohol.

"Uuuuugh...I don't think I've ever been this sober in my liiiiiife." Izusa whined. Really, as the first mate she should have said something about coming this far without much alcohol, but here they were. Adrift at sea without a drop to drink. That was a crime against the laws of the universe. They were pirates, damn it. Drinking was a must. "How do you do it Kilik?" She grumbled, staring into the water below, hands pressed to the side of her head as if trying to solve some impossible conundrum. "How can you be so sober and function?" Bah, she'd find out one of these days. She didn't get long to ponder it, as her ears picked up conversation from her two crewmates. They found land?

OH GLORIOUS DAY!~

Land meant alcohol. Alcohol meant no more being sober. No more being sober, meant a happy little Izusa. Also meant a whole village of people to plunder 'loot' from~

With a sudden excitement added to her movements, she adjusted the mask on the side of her face, moving it to conceal her features completely. She might as well go say hi to her favorite crew mates. She pushed herself up from what remained of the railing of the ship, twirling around and walking over to Altsoba. She wasn't able to make out a lot of their conversation, but she definitely heard the last bit.

"Should I get the pervert? or are you gonna take one for the team for once?"

Wordlessly, she approached him from behind. Getting just close that if he turned around, he'd come face to face with her mask. An eyeless, mouthless mask.

"Talking about your crew mates behind their backs is rude, ya know~" She giggled, not seeming to be bothered by the lack of food or alcohol at all at the moment. "And no need, your undergarments have already volunteered their service this fine day!~"

On her finger, she was twirling around a pair of what was definitely Altsoba's undergarments. How she acquired them in such a short time from the railing to here was anyones guess, and before he could make an attempt to get them back either, she shoved them into her pockets.

"Thank you for your sacrifice, you are a true martyr for the cause~" She was smiling widely beneath her mask, but that wasn't something the could exactly see. Without waiting for much of a reply, she hopped up onto the railing at the bow of the ship and took in a deep breath of air.

"Ahhh, smells like fun!~" She giggled loudly once again, though whatever she meant by that she didn't elaborate...and then promptly proceeded to almost lose her footing, and stumble and fall into the ocean below.

That would have been really bad, considering all things. She quickly regained her footing though, and took a seat on the ships bow, facing them.

"Ehehe, well, that was almost bad. So, Captain. Any plans for once we get on land? Aside from getting alcohol and food. I'm parched over here. I'd say getting some info about recent happenings would be a good idea~"

Kilik

Elfen Island
| @NachoBachoPacho | @Rune_Alchemist |

Everything was great, for once he would breath air that didn't reek of undergarmentless men and woman and alcohol. Well, that was up until Altsoba decided to open his big mouth. Why did they make a point of bad mouthing him, or accusing him of so? He was the Captain for gods sake! Slowly he turned to face Altsoba, playful fury etched into his face and light jumping in his eyes. "If I were bad mouthing you, you would have heard it loud and clear." he affirmed, growling at the last part. Rushing to his to his feet, he ran after Altsoba to gaze at the harbor which grew ever closer with each passing moment.

"Land! finally! our supplies were running so low, I expected Icarus to eat my eyes, during the night."

Kilik gave Altsoba a judgmental look. He was more afraid for the birds safety around them. There were some nights where he was ready to snatch that bird out of his slumber and eat him raw, unfortunately, he didn't have the heart to do that to his friend. "Lucky I didn't eat it first." he mumbled solemnly under his breath before waving his hand dismissively at Altsoba's last statement. It would have been great if he could avoid a day with Izusa being drunk. It was quite quiet without her random drunken outbursts and forced strippings. Who knew a woman could be so forward?

Unfortunately, it seemed that she didn't need alcohol to be her crazy self. Snickering quietly, he watched at Izusa twirled a pair of Altsoba's underwear. Before long he had burst out laughing at Altsoba's plight, but was secretly glad he still had his on. Soon though, all laughing ended when Izusa nearly fell into the sea. She was a Devil fruit user, and so was he, if she were to fall it would be Altsoba's job to save her. After that little prank, he wasn't sure Altsoba would want to save her, in fact, be might have just ran the ship right over her, which would have been funny also.

Wiping a wet tear from his eye, he turned to a now seated Izusa. "Well, alot." he began, scratching the back of his head. With that he gestured all around him. "The Erazor Djinn is in disrepair. We need food, water, no alcohol, and frankly, you all smell like Sea King ass." he chortled, jumping onto the ships railing.

"A few ground rules before he hit land though;

No drinking.

No stealing undergarments.
he proclaimed simply. Regardless of their addiction, they still had to make the Djinn-13 look good, and at this moment, they looked like idiots. He gazed at Izusa at that last part though, making sure she understood.

Altsoba

Altsoba frowned as his captain spoke about being forward, Altsoba had been down on Vearth for awhile, and the only difference, was the scumbags down here didn't have wings. But, Kilik was his captain, and if anyone would call Altsoba a scumbag to his face, it'd be him.

Before Altsoba could respond to his captain's comment about his Vehicle, Icarus, he heard the first mate's voice, and turned around, to see his underwear in her grasp. "Izusa you perverted witch!" Altsoba exclaimed, in a comical burst of anger, flailing his arms around, while screaming about respect, privacy, and not being a shameless pervert.

Altsoba would have continued screaming at her, but she almost fell into the ocean, and a glimmer of excitement wormed its way into Altsoba's mind, maybe this time he'd wait a bit before fishing her out, it'd serve her right, but alas, she caught herself. Altsoba turned around, grumbling, about to say something to his captain, before he heard..

"No Drinking." The words practically pierced his chest like an arrow, as he fell to his knees, and clutched his chest. "You cruel bastard, how am I supposed to deal with so many annoying civilians if i'm NOT piss drunk!?" Altsoba explained, as if this were a legitimate reason, before exhaling, and snapping his fingers. In response, Icarus let out a loud, annoying squawk, before turning into a rolled up rug, that Altsoba caught out of the air, and slipped onto his back.

"Fine, but were kind of strapped for cash, how are we gonna buy supplies, captain?" Altsoba asked, while puffing a few more smoke rings out of his mouth. "I for one, vote we steal." Altsoba exclaimed, before his captain could even give him his idea. "And were getting alcohol, even if I can't drink it there, or i'll start getting sober, and you won't like me when i'm sober." Altsoba exclaimed, before looking at the island.

Izusa simply snickered quietly beneath her mask at Altsoba. Obviously, his anger was a bit amusing to her but she said nothing and instead waited for a reply from their oh so glorious captain. He of course, went on to say that there would be no drinking and no stealing of undergarments while they were ashore. It was like he was trying to actually upset her in some manner. Ah well, no big deal.

Not like he would ever actually catch her doing anything if she really wanted it.

"Captaaaaain, you're taking all the fun out of my life." She sighed. "I'm gonna die at this rate~" She didn't seem to have any real complaints, though and didn't argue unlike Altsoba, who seemed completely against the not getting alcohol thing. Well, she could sympathize. However, Kilik was also a bit right when he said they should focus on food and actual water before any luxuries...like Alcohol, no matter how much she enjoyed it.

"Ah well. Such is life sometimes~" She quietly giggled, standing up. "I'll keep my mitts to myself and not steal any. I'll also refrain from drinking." She hummed to herself quietly as she leaned her back on the railing of the ship and rested her elbows on it. "Altsoba has a good point, though. We don't exactly have a lot of money to throw around everywhere. I don't particularly mind stealing either, buuuuuut, its your call oh glorious capi-tan~"

Judging from the somewhat mischievous tone her voice carried, it would be uncertain just exactly how truthful she was being about what she was saying. And since even under the expressionless mask, she was wearing a small mischievous grin that her voice might imply, it wouldn't help in judgement either.

I scowled at Xerxes the moment he spoke of cowardice. How dare he call me such things. True I stayed out of the fighting at prison, but that was only because of the blur of the moment and the fact that these pirates already had much of it under control, there was no reason for me to kick the dead horse that was the marines. I would give a faint growl, almost tempted to transform and wipe that cheeky grin off of his face, however against better judgement I would silently sheathe the lance back over my back, knowing full well that regarless of the victor a battle between us would destroy the ship. Seeing as Xerxes had no intent to actually kill anyone, I would make my way back towards the captain.

I'd give bogard a full bow, getting onto one knee and placing my armored knuckle against my bowed head as if I was pledgling to a king. "Captain Bogard, I am Jacak Ventmaw at your service, what is the motto of your crew? what makes you lot pirates, and what are your personal goals?" I asked upfront, despite my demanding questions I would keep a calm voice and bowed, respectful position. Unfitting for a pirate.
