To my Walking Dead Peeps! We have broken the 8 month mark!!!! And to my Murder High Reunion Peeps as well, you all have broken the 6 month milestone!!!! (And Darker Than Black is closing in quickly on that 6 month mark having hit the 5th month last week.) I just can't get over it!!! 4 Rps over 6 months strong and Duplicity will hit the big 1 year mark in less than 2 months?!?!?! Totally gushing over my peeps as per usual. ^_^

Okay, I gush about my peeps constantly. I just have amazing rpers in each of my rps and they keep things going. It's astonishing. Though I rarely ever call one of them out specifically. Well today I have to.

Right now I am totally gushing over @Morose. Why? Well let me tell you. This woman is fucking amazing. Not only as a gm, but as a character creator. She is in several of my rps and each of her characters are amazing but one is particularly in a league of their own. The Cabbage.

This character... omg. I hate him! I hate everything about him. He is egotistical, self absorbed. He just... omg, I just want to take him out and beat the shit out of him in real life. And that what is so amazing about him.

He isn't hated because he is a crappy character, or anything like that. He is so well rped that he evokes a true disgust when I read him and yet I want to see what he does next. Morose has broken a barrier that is so difficult with Rp. Evoking true emotional reaction with a character. Love is hard, hate is harder. So yeah, totally gushing over being able to see her take this character and make him so despised and yet so yearned for by myself and others in the rp!!!

@Lady Amalthea Awww, thank you so much. :') I'm so glad to hear that others like the horrible bloke. Most of the fun with him is seeing how others react, and he's definitely pushed my limits as a writer. (And forces me to practice my French as well at that lol).

@MoroseI know we've only been in 2 RP's together but I fricken love your characters. I agree wholeheartedly with Lady A.

Major props goes out to all my peeps in Darker Than Black! @Scallop @Sigil @Morose @Dragoknighte @Nallore @Pundii - We have passed the 6th month mark for the Rp, on Chapter 2, & working towards Chapter 3! Not to mention we have the prequel with Deeper Than The Sands running towards its 3rd month with another cast of characters there.

I am beyond proud you all have given so much to this rp and completely humbled to have such amazing Rpers to GM. I may be the GM but you make the world keep spinning. Thank you so much!

Y'know, my RP has hit a year old recently, and while not the most active one around, it's still alive. Y'know what I want to do? Thank some of the people that helped me with this.

Thanks to @Poke@The Grey Dust@TBKrunk@SilverDawn. I know you guys aren't around anymore, but I'm sincerely glad you helped me get the RP off the ground. The fact I had an initial playerbase was key to this longevity. I'm going to shout out Poke and Silver in particular, because the former helped me out a lot in getting my Interest Check and OOC started and I can't thank the latter enough for designing the school uniforms. Y'all rock.

Goddamn, thanks @The Irish Tree@LunarStandard@Tojin@Joshua Tamashii for joining in later. Having more variety never hurt anyone, and I feel all of you brought characters to the table that really have the potential to add something to the story. I'm going to single someone out again, namely Irish. He'd left the original, but then came back later for mine and it's kinda flattering that I'd inspire someone who'd lost interest originally to join in again. Seriously, you four are awesome.

But, perhaps the biggest thanks go to the players who've been there from the start and are still sticking around. @Eklispe@1Charak2@Scarifar@Jangel13@Satoshi Kyou@vancexentan, I'm talking about you. Yeah, I've been sloppy recently and this break might be lasting for a bit too long... and yeah, there's definitely some kinks that need ironing out... but heck, you guys never gave up on me. You've been here since the first page and are still popping into the OOC, expressing your interest... 's touching.

If it weren't for everyone mentioned above, I doubt this RP would've been going for as long as it has. You're all great, and I really appreciate you guys.

For those who're still playing: Updates coming back near the end of december. I've got the groove back, but I need to chug through my exams and overhaul a few things first. Cheers, guys!

Honestly, man, I feel like I ought to thank you. Duel Tower is an awesome RP, and given the usual lifespan of Yu-gi-oh RPs, the fact that this one has been going on for a year speaks volumes to your dedication and ability as a GM. Plus, while Duel Tower is hella fun on its own, it also introduced me to RPGuild as a whole, and to some absolutely incredible RPs that I honestly feel privileged to be a part of. (cough @Mokley cough) Because of that, I absolutely must thank you for introducing me to this wonderful website and everything on it, including your very own RP. Merry Christmas, my friend.

Ammokkx, Dude, That is by far the most touching sentiment from you, I have heard over the past year. If it wasn't for duel tower I would have probably completely quit Yugioh in General, but thanks to that RP I kept my groove, and I have been enjoying the interactions that have been taking place. Both in and out of IC.

Give yourself some credit though, because you are doing a bang-up job as GM. I've been in more YGO RPs than I care to remember, and I can't remember the last time I was part of one that actually lasted this long (without turning into a complete shitshow). I had began to get pretty jaded about YGO RPs, so it was great being a part of this one and being reminded of what made these RPs fun.

So yeah. It's been an absolute blast, and I look forward to seeing what happens as we move forward. Wish you all the best!

I can't believe it. The peeps of Duplicity have passed the official one year mark on the RP. Hard to believe that more than 365 days have passed since the RP began and that it is still going so strong today. Doesn't matter if it is general chit chat while they are traveling, fighting Orcs and Undead, bonding together over a meal - the Rp keeps moving and stays interesting. Players have come and players have gone but we keep having an amazing cast that keeps the wheels turning and the story growing.

It is the second chapter in a multi part Rp and I couldn't be happier to see it still building. I am so excited to see where it goes from here. @Sigil @Dragoknighte @rivaan @POOHEAD189 @Lucius Cypher @IcePezz @The Grey Dust - You guys and dolls are the best and I couldn't ask for a better group of peeps to be able to Rp with!!! You all are everything and I am completely humbled to be able to see your characters grow with each and every post.

Thank you for helping to make this past year in RP amazing! This Gm would be nothing if it were not for remarkable Rpers such as yourself. ^_^

Major congratulations goes out to everyone that participated in Murder High Reunion! It was a fun ride for over nine months and the Rp came to its full completion! (A rare thing) - I am so proud to have been lucky enough to host it and have so many wonderful people pass through. I want to throw out some major thanks to @Nallore, @Morose, and @Charnobylisk. Char solved the original mystery and both Nal and Morose pulled it to the end. I couldn't have done it without these three lovely ladies! Now to get back to it's sequel, ^_^

Many people, unfortunately, know this cycle: I open my 1x1 Interest Check thread for 2-3 days which is usually plenty of time for a lot of replies to come in. Because my thread is fucking awesome. Anyway, only half of these PM replies actually result in roleplays, because the other half couldn't be arsed to continue replying. Then of those roleplays, another half drop out (without telling me, of course) because the RP wasn't what they wanted it to be, despite repeated and earnest attempts to avoid exactly that problem via open lines of communication. And by the time all this is said and done, so many RPs have been lost that it's time to open the IntChk again!

All my 1x1 RP partners are new to me this week except two. And while I feel very optimistic about many of these partners, the two who have been nothing but loyal and ingenuous in their desire to keep the RP alive, and to tell good stories therein, are @ThatWeirdChick and @DarknessDawning. These are the two with whom the threads have survived over two months and with whom they very feasibly will last much longer. They express gratitude for my willingness to take the reins and steer the direction of the story (when it's needed), but they're also willing to do the same themselves; thus neither of us is putting all the work into keeping a thread alive, which in my experience leads only to resentment. Both are interested in more than just their own characters and experiences, and have eagerly contributed to my enjoyment of the RP and to the depth of the world in general, designing NPCs and little setting quirks to the benefit of both partners. They're not here just for cheap escapism nor shallow wish-fulfillment; and this fact shines through in the care they have poured into their writing.

And oh, yeah; when you send them a message, they actually bother to reply. I wish this wasn't such a rare virtue on this website that it deserves special mention, but it is. Such is the zeitgeist which we as Guildsmen must endure.

If either of these ladies responds to your Interest Check, take her up on it. You will not regret it. ✩✩✩✩

^_^ Thank you for the compliment. The admiration is reciprocal. I appreciate that you are understanding when at times, life interferes with the immediacy of posting, and yet are able to return a few days later without any animosity in your posts nor any lack of enthusiasm. I appreciate that in our quest to equally contribute to the story line, I never really know what is going to happen next. My passion for roleplay revolves around the concept that I am working on stories that are "impossible" in reality. Accomplishing such a task requires quite a bit of imagination and dedication from all parties involved. I look forward to continuing our collaboration for many months to come.

In a strange turn of events, I think I've finally found my "group" within the Guild. This is helping me stay focused, and I suspect it may actually assist in keeping me from drifting away from the guild for another year-long hiatus. Also they're pretty cool people, among which I find myself consistently both entertained and challenged. Except for @Hillan.
