Nishimura Yuki

It was about then that someone else showed up. A Chinese woman, in clothing that looked more suited for a much colder temperature, wearing glasses and with a little floating robot following her around. She was kind of cute, really! And she seemed friendly... even if the robot was kind of confusing if she was transported to Vivi's world somehow. Then again, with how the Chinese woman was speaking, it seemed like Yuki wasn't the only person who had been taken here somehow. No, it appeared she was a a victim of the strange transportation too! That meant there could be more people in danger... that was definitely something to keep in mind. For now, however, Yuki raised her hand and waved.

"It's nice to meet you, Zhou-san," she called to the older woman, as Ruru excitedly circled the floating robot that had nudged her at a high speed, "My name is Nishimura Yuki. So I'm not the only one stuck in this ridiculous situation? That's reassuring."

She let out a bit of a relieved sigh. If there were other people who'd been transported to this place, then they could all work together and find out how to get home quickly.

"Vivi-kun says there's a castle," she added, "I think if we go there we might be able to figure out what's going on. At least... it's the best idea I can think of so far."

Phocas Amyntas

Intersection of 5,6 &12
As the lunarian gaped at Phoc's choice of weapon, Phoc couldn't help but smile at how easily the illusory world was crumbling. It made sense that a blade forged in part from old discarded remnants of the Moon Lord would be proficient in carving through it's minions illusions after all. Still, he hadn't cut her, or most likely it, yet, so he ought to keep swinging.

The monster regained its senses and fired a light magical barrage at Phoc, which he dodged with the help of his wings, which sprouted out from his robes behind his body. Landing again quickly, he realized there were now three of them, charging at him. More seemed to split off, surrounding him even from above. They began showering him in magic, some even charging at him to engage personally, a bad idea with such a powerful blade at his side. Still, he was getting peppered with bullets and all the summoned stars falling and bursting into light made it hard to see. Even if they weren't lethal (they were meant simply as a distraction, after all) they still hurt.

But he had used illusions before too, and the Heretic knew just how to get around them. Taking out a gun of his own, Phoc mowed down a decent amount of the illusory rabbits with a single clip. This allowed him a quick enough respite to cast his spell. Throwing the Uzi onto the ground and grabbing his Tome, blindly slashing in an attempt to defend himself while he did so, Phoc roughly thumbed the book open. "Signum quærit!" he read from it, and a giant spinning disc of water sprung from the spellbook, and launched itself straight up at Reisen's floating form. Phoc's gazed followed the magic water as it seaked out it's prey.

"...Well....probably!" He replied, in a mixture of cheer and apprehension. "I don't actually know where it is! I mean, I fell asleep on it....but when I woke up, I was in the middle of this city! So I guess that would mean the ship and everybody would have to be at the harbor!"

His gaze then turned upwards, towards the buildings around them. Now that Blue Guy mentioned it, it probably WOULD be easier to see where the Sunny was from someplace higher up....the grin returned to his face.

"The roof, huh?....I can get us up there, no problem!"

He brought Ryu and Youma together and grabbed hold of them both by the waist with one strong arm.

"Hold on tight!"

He reared his free arm back, and flung it forward, causing it to....stretch!? And stretch out it did, all the way up to the top of one of the buildings, which he gripped tightly.

"Gum-Gum...Rocket!!"

Luffy's legs went slack, causing his body to launch skyward at high speed, with his passengers in tow!

"YAHOOOO!"

The female noticed him, yet she chose not to react. Magnus could sense her intentions and emotions fairly easily, despite the facade of her armor. Mind-reading her directly wasn't beyond his current abilities, yet he chose not to make such a potentially dangerous intrusion upon such a simple creature's mind. Her choice to pretend was interesting, and likely wise, had he been any ordinary forest monster, and he admired her minor display of self control.

Two other humans soon showed up, taking flanking positions with their ranged weapons. Magnus decided that they were likely no actual threat to him and so ignored them. Distrust, organization, it was pretty standard human behavior. Magnus felt an inexplicable distain for their species well up inside him. Had he ever once truly been part of them? Had he loved them once as his former maker did? Such was unbelieveable. He considered his intentions for this human species now. They were far from his Thousand Sons, yet maybe he could use them, allow them to worship him, or perhaps grow to appreciate them and adopt them? ... The future would not reveal itself to him despite his wishes.

As Nicole backed off, taking her supplies, Magnus glared at her with his single eye and replied with hardly veiled disgust, "No. That is NOT my 'home.'" Frankly, he was insulted. He was more intelligent than these creatures could POSSIBLY imagine, and yet they dared ascribe him to living under a rock in the woods somewhere. It took a small effort of will for him not to engulf the mortal in a pillar of fire. Still, her reaction indicated that she had no prior knowledge of him, and so it was probably safe to start a conversation. "I am..." Magnus considered. "...The Red King. Identify yourself to me, and explain what you are doing here." Perhaps giving away his name so soon might draw specific attention, so he chose not to. His language was the same as hers, although he didn't share her accent.

Cyano Conablum

Sector 11: "The Slums"

It was dark, cramped. The streets ran wet with both water, and with liquids one not dared think of the origin of. Shadows stretched across the narrow streets, thrown out by barely standing hovels. Broken, often dirty glass stood in the windows, and sat strewn about the street. People, some sick and dying, others simply driven mad by their circumstances sat huddled in the dry corners and shadows while skinny, sickly children scurried about. Eyes peered out as one who did not belong strode through. A splash of color in the dark, disease ridden slums. An interesting character made their way through, dressed nearly entirely in blue, with eyes and hair to match. The large sword they carried, was more akin to one carried by a wandering hero. The kind of person who brought hope to the downtrodden, such as those that lived here.

But, there would be no such heroics from this one. Their would be nothing but disgust as she examined the new area she found herself in. Disgust at the stench of what was presumably disease ridden corpses, hidden just out of sight. At the wet streets and dirty children. And, especially at the huddled masses. Intimidating red lightning arced off of her, remaining around her as it danced around the coat she wore. She wasn't sure entirely how she had ended up in such a place. Nor, where this place was exactly. A quick glance at the sky would tell her nothing. And clearly, the people here wouldn't be any help. After all, they couldn't even help themselves out of the situation life had put them in. What all was there to make her think they could be of any assistance? No, they were worthless. Not even worth the time it took to register their existence.

All there was for her to do here, presumably, was to keep going. Where there were slums, there was a larger city. Broader, brighter horizons for her to exploit and manipulate. Information, knowledge for her to gather. And, more then likely a large amount of interesting subjects with which she could play many, many fun games with. But none of that would be found here. Even the best, most moral people had a tendency to forget, or outright ignore places like this. The supposed heroes of the medium barely registering it on their radar. She supposed that, knowing this place existed could help her, if only a tiny bit. Good guys were suckers for human suffering when it was pointed out. Even if they couldn't be bothered any other time. She would smile to herself at the thought. Indeed, this would be a very interesting time.

Yukine Chris

These men were bona fide insane. The strange green mist that was constantly around one of them reminded her unpleasantly of the original FIS base--though at least it wasn't the red. That ruled out it somehow being anti-LiNKER and this another front for mad science to destroy the world. Being mad science simply out to conquer the world wasn't a huge step up, in the white-haired girl's opinion.

Step one in recognising the insanity was a plan to liberate people from their oppressors whilst claiming that you weren't going to fight anyone. Step two was attaching a cult to it. It just wasn't going to end well if you put unquestioning faith into someone who claimed their plans were good.

The last time she had done that, it ended with a huge chunk of the moon destroyed.

"You can justify anything by saying it's for their benefit," Chris stated, not taking the armoured hand at all and stepping backwards. He was, after all, larger than a small half-Japanese girl, "And I've never heard of Tiberium, but you look more like soldiers than charity."

Ryu sector 7

The wind blasting through his hair as Ryu flew through the air reminded him of flying with Nina. The thought however was short lived as an enormous comet came into view surrounded by blue light. The shaking of the tower nearly made him lose his footing. Ryu immediately saw the harbor pointing straight ahead excitement pumping through his veins. "If your crew is anywhere it may be over there."

Ryu shook his head to clear it taking the moment to search for other disturbances. There were several other smoke stacks across the city. It was possible most were from cooking fires. Ryu glanced a Youmu saying gently "Are you okay? That was a little disconcerting" Ryu himself was shaking and windswept having never seen this kind of power. The straw hat must be powerful to have that much speed and aim with his stretching.

Reisen Udongein Inaba

Intersection of Districts 5, 6, and 12

Reisen paused her illusory assault as the madman pulled out a submachine gun and dispersed a good chunk of her clones, still fumbling a little as she grasped for whatever it was she was looking for. The bullets did little to faze him, it seemed... Which was to be expected, to be quite honest; even if they were only meant to damage, there was only so much she could do to a madman who had (in all likelihood) lost all sense of the word 'pain'. What confused her was the anachronism of the weapons that he held; a fantasy blade, a submachine gun, and now...

A magic book? What kind of nonsense--?!

"You're kidding..." the rabbit said through gritted teeth as she redirected her pistol at the disc of water rushing at her face and fired towards that instead. The magic collided with her attack and the two cancelled each other out, which Reisen was quite thankful for. But where was the--

"Oh! Geez, I'm such an idiot!"

She had been searching the wrong half of her suit this entire time. Of course.

Now fishing through the CORRECT location, Reisen pulled out a single card, which was now glimmering an eerie red as it shone in the sunlight. The color of the Lunarian's eyes, too, began to glow as she remained flying above head. After firing a beam of energy from her eyes to buy her a few moments, Reisen took a deep breath and shouted.

"'Illusion Wave "Red-Eyed Hypnosis'!"

Calling out the name of her attack, the card in Reisen's hand glowed brighter before disappearing. Immediately after, the rabbit shot a giant ring of bullets from her position before a giant pair of red eyes (an image of her own) appeared behind herself as an illusion, the initial ring of bullets seemingly phasing out of existence and splitting into two before the illusory eyes disappeared. She then proceeded to fire five more rings before doing the same with them, repeating the latter sequence over and over as bullets seemed to flood the skies, constantly distorting and multiplying even further every few seconds.

"Maybe if this knocks him out I can inject some sanity back into that head of his and figure out what the heck's going on..."

@Kafka Komedy

Sogiita Gunha

District 10

The sight of something plummeting through the sky caught Gunha's eyes as he continued to walk down the street, completely oblivious to the people quietly tailing him from a distance and murmuring about what he had just done (and, by extent, what sleeping bear he had poked by doing that). The impact of said something making as much of a shockwave as it did, though, caused pretty much everyone following behind him to run for the hills, almost as if an apocalypse was on the horizon.

Well, the esper couldn't really blame them for that, but as a heavy advocate for guts it was only natural to check out what had caused such an earthquake. Taking a deep breath and squatting a few times to warm up his legs, Gunha took a deep breath and launched himself into the sky to see what the cause of it all was.

His surprise when he saw the decent-szed crater in the ground with a rather large person lying in the middle of it was moderate enough, but was gone by the time he fell back down to the ground. Whoever it was, they seemed wounded, which warranted some degree of closer inspection. But by now, he had no room for the leisurely pace he was walking at; now, he was off running, jumping over houses as if they were no more than hurdles on a track.

"This is definitely something that I can't afford to overlook! Gotta have guts to survive a dive like that!"

Konpaku Youmu

Youmu let out a gasp of mild surprise. It was less that she had never experienced this sensation, and more that she didn't expect the straw hat boy to do it like this. He could fly too? She hadn't seen any fully human men who could fly before... And then she realized they were falling again, before landing high above the rest of the city on a rooftop. When the straw hat boy released her, she stepped away from him and looked around the city carefully. Indeed, there was a harbor off in the distance.

When Ryu spoke to her, she glanced over her shoulder and waved her hand, as if to wave away her concerns.

"I can fly," she explained, simply, "I'm more surprised that a fully human boy could do something like that..."

The only full humans she'd ever seen fly were Marisa and Reimu.... and perhaps Fujiwara no Mokou, but she was a bit of a unique case. As a result, it simply wasn't what she expected to see happen... though that had been more like jumping very high. Had it been a spell of some kind? That would make sense given he seemed to say some kind of incantation or something like that.

"There's so much..." she wondered, peering across the cityscape, "There must be someone here who knows what's going on..."

Monkey D. Luffy

Sector 7

Luffy landed on the building with relative ease, giving out a hearty laugh. "Shishishi!....That never stops being fun!" With his destination reached Luffy peered out into the distance for any sign of a body of water.....Buildings, buildings, more buildings, giant falling comet....Ah! That looked like a habor! He wasn't however, able to make out the Sunny anywhere in the area. Where could everyone have GONE?.....

Luffy overheard the conversation of his new compatriots, turning to them with a cheeky smile. "Oh...I'm not a human!" He put his finger in his mouth and pulled on his cheek, stretching it out almost a foot from his face. "I'm a Rubberman!"

Melqart Orestes

It has been a hard time to live in this decadent city of Phoria, who is forgetful of what it once made it the greatest city that has ever existed. The fear and control they put over Magick now is ridiculous and would be completely unthinkable on the past. This is something that needs to be changed as soon as possible.

However, he lacked the influence or strength to make such a thing possible, which is exactly why he needed to gather those two, so he could be able to complete his objective. That was the reason now why he was now on the Staging Grounds waiting for some people to arrive.

Previously, he had with the help of the Heroes Guild created a High Level Expedition to head for the frontiers in order to reclaim lost lands of the city and regain the lost treasures that were looted by monsters or lost through time.

For the announcement of such a large scale quest, there were many criers around the city, alongside with posting on mission boards and Inns. It would be quite hard for someone not to notice any of those things. Hopefully his effort in organizing all of this would be repaid and a large amount of people would want to go on this expedition.

Ryu sector 7

Ryu recoiled in surprise nodding grinning. The power was amazing, while not his style the Straw hatted man had clearly perfected the art. "do you see your ship or anything else interesting?" In that moment the the messages from the criers started to reach him. Ryu grinned happily "I think I'll head for that quest after the harbor. If I heard them right it's going to be a heavy reward for everyone." Ryu says grinning the fire in his eyes back.

It had been far to long since he'd battled monsters and demons, but first to finish finding straw hat's crew. The docks had a light house and getting an idea Ryu smiled "Hey luffy could we do what we just did over to the docks or is it to far?"

Gojira-Sama

Section 10

Several seconds felt like hours for the fallen Gijinka, as she slowly opens her eyes to the world around her. It was daylight now, with the sun glistening high in the blue sky. Gojira-Sama can feel that she was on top of a cobblestone flooring, which was a rather unusual material to land on in her Universe. Was she in some sort of plaza or shrine? She slowly gets onto her knees as she plops her hands on all fours, smacking her tail on the ground to get some leverage. She soon realizes that she was inside a decently-sized crater... did she make that? She checks herself and hands by feeling her own body and finds out that most of her cuts have been healed and that her clothes are not shredded anymore. What a convenience. She then looks up to check the surroundings of her location.

Immediately, Gojira-Sama realizes that she isn't in Japan, or anywhere familiar for that matter.

The buildings look rather different compared to what she is usually sees in her usual "stomping grounds". They looked rather old... medieval, like the buildings in Europe. She also realizes that she was not in her giant size anymore, but back to her regular size. She still is extremely tall for a human, being up to 7'5", but she's not several tens of meters tall and thousands of tons in weight. However where was she exactly? And how did she get here in the first place? All she remembered was the blast and then, poof, blacked out, and finds herself here.

Gojira-Sama finally gets back onto her feet, although in a rather hunched position, still trying to gather her strength and balance. She is unaware at this moment that she will be bringing some attention to her position very shortly...

The confessor eventually lowered his hand, it was obvious she had no desire to return his greeting. What a shame she wasn't even willing to share in the most basic of civilities. All the while Ezekiel continued to fiddle with the datapad, mechanical fingers dancing expertly across its keys. He hissed and cursed at the device as the EVA continued to find no sign of Nod or GDI channels. Isaac stood there for a moment, regarding the girl behind crimson eye-lenses, green smoke billowing from the censer swinging at his hip. A burning, acrid smell filled the air around it, like an open bottle of chemical cleaner.

"That is true, and many atrocities have transpired behind that same sentiment. But that does not mean it is any less valid. Change is often violent, it is chaotic and destructive. But it also tears down that which was old, bloated, rotting from the inside out. What's more, people must be ready and willing to fight for the things and ideals they hold dear to them. My brothers and I have done great and terrible things, but they were all in the name of what we believed to be best for mankind, for an ascension to something greater. We are men of faith, and we have long known the merits of zeal, mercy, guilt, and humility. Every death, every war, every interrogation weighs upon us, as it would any other man. But we know that what we do is God's will, it is the will of Kane. I cannot expect a child to understand us, but I will pray one day you come to realize the truth of my words. May God be with you, my dear."

With that the Confessor turned from the girl and headed of deeper into the slums. His retinue followed in suit, and the six of them began to chant softly, Isaac leading and his retinue responding. The trail of smoke followed them like a serpent through the streets. A few of the slum-dwellers followed curiously, whispering among themselves as the strange procession continued onward.

Dante Morg

Sector: 23

Dante had been tending to the cheap grill for just about long enough to make two mighty fine hotdogs. That's if mighty fine means a pretty mediocre meal then he'd take it. Jamming the stick through the first grilled American dream, he took a nice bite without any other cares.

You know what? This isn't so bad.

It was a good change of pace. Why not enjoy it? He gladly enjoyed his two hotdogs right next to the toasty little grill. Resting there wouldn't be the end of the world. A couple dozen psychopath cultists was nothing compared to the modest enjoyment of this time. It's kind of like when you have a cup of coffee and you just relax there savoring that cup whether you'd be at home or at a restaurant. Suddenly, a massive shock wave broke through the branches of the trees as if the Luftwaffe were making a bombing run on London with a vengeance. Luckily, it was mostly noise although the knocked over mostly burnt out silvery box that used to be a grill make a small fire on the forest grass. Dante ran to stomp out the fire fast and wondered what could have made such a massive crash. Now people would say curiosity killed the cat but so did Schrodinger. Curiosity also made discoveries that pushed forward the human race and created grand achievements. Also like Schrodinger. Dante still didn't know where he was and quite frankly didn't want to see another tentacle horror. If by some scarce chance some cultists started a low-budget space program it would spell doom for him. That was extremely unlikely, so he decided that finding out what happened wouldn't be too bad.

The not so grand magician zipped up the small pack of weenies and put it back in his bag. Didn't want to lose those now. He grabbed his briefcase again with his bag to start heading toward the source of the quake. He arrived closer to the sight and saw that the city was much closer. He thought to himself that he might want to check that place out next. On approach he sees a large humanoid monster of some ungodly sort about one hundred meters away. It couldn't be the damn cult monsters it was impossible. Dante couldn't take it anymore.

Are you kidding me? How did they find me? HOW!?

Konpaku Youmu

Youmu tilted her head in mild confusion. She'd never heard of a rubberman... but that must be some kind of youkai. Which definitely explained some things, that was for sure. And it made a lot more sense then him being a fully human male. She nodded after only a moment of confusion. Certainly there must have been some youkai she had never heard of, and this boy was one of them. It made a lot more sense then any of the other alternatives, right? Her attention, however, swiftly returned to scanning the horizon. She didn't know what the rubberman's boat was like, but it was still worth trying to spot anything that looked like it could be it, wasn't it? When Ryu mentioned a quest, however, the half-phantom girl turned to face him and shook her head.

"I'm not interested in any quests, or anything like that," she stated, firmly. Unless it was a matter of life and death, the purpose in her mind was a rather singular one, and it didn't include going on some kind of expedition to some place she'd never heard of before.

"My only quest is to return to Yuyuko-sama's side," she concluded.

Mei

Mei couldn't help but giggle at Vivi's shyness; it probably wasn't the best thing to do but it was just so cute she couldn't hold it in. The little wizard boy seemed rather timid, really, to the point that she couldn't even see his face under his hat.

"Hey, there's nothing to be afraid of, Vivi," she smiled kindly, patting him on the shoulder, whilst keeping an eye on Snowball; the little robot letting out chirps of amusement as the fairy curiously inspected it. "Let's go to this castle together, okay? And, um, really Yuki, just call me M-Ohmygosh!"

Her glasses almost fell off her face as Mei practically lept out of her skin from the sound of a far-off explosion. However, she felt like it was better to let the local authorities investigate it for now, especially seeing how she wasn't really near wherever it happened. Still, the suddeness of it all took her off guard, and she had to take a moment to adjust her glasses and fix her hair.

"Um... Where was I, um... Oh right!" Turning to Yuki, she tried to stifle another giggle as she noticed the fairy was now sitting on top of Snowball, who was idly spinning about and beeping contently. "Please, please just call me Mei, okay?"

Monkey D. Luffy

(Sector 7)

"..Hm? Hmmm....."

Luffy looked back out towards the harbor, gauging the distance between there and the roof they were on. "I can't stretch that far....but I could probably still Rocket us in that direction! Might be rough landing, though....."

A frown crept across his face. "...But...I don't see the Sunny out there, not at all! The Sunny's this big, awesome ship, with a big sun face on the front of it! I don't see anything like that out over there...Mrrrm.." At the mention of quests, Luffy shook his head in kind with Youma. "Yeah, I can't do stuff like that, either! I gotta get back to my crew!"

At that moment, however, Luffy's stomach growled loudy, and he hunched over. "...Aaaah, I'm starvin'! I haven't had anything for breakfast, yet! Sanji, where'd you gooo?..."

Ryu district 7

"It's not much but here" Ryu smiled gently pulling out the last of his food for Youmu and straw hat. If they weren't willing to work Ryu could try to make some money to support them. Ryu smiled warmly to each of them "I'm going to travel up towards the quests. I'll see if I can earn us some food and a room while you to try to find your friends."

It was a cold chilling feeling that Ryu might never see his son and wife again. A darkness like that could drown all hope if it was allowed to fester. In Ryu's mind it was best to keep busy, but before he'd head to the quest there were more important issues at hand. It seemed this culture lacked magic and disease had taken over the slums. Ryu was well versed enough in healing magic to cure almost any disease. It'd make sense to first try to heal as many as he could even if it meant a day without his dragon forms.

- Set Harth, District ? -

There was a certain strain to Set's smile as he quietly accepted the armoured hug. He was uncomfortably aware of the fact that even with his enhanced strength, this guy could probably snap him in half. While certainly not likely, it wasn't a position he was comfortably with, and he swiftly parted himself. "Yes, quite. Um. If you're looking for good to do, then I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of places you can do stuff in this world. I have yet to find a world without problems, and when I do I'll probably retire there." Briefly checking to see if any of his ribs had been cracked, Set then looked up the road. "In any case, I believe you might as well tag along with us, even if you don't wish to return home. There's as much of a chance of finding those in need where we're going as in any other direction, unless you know your way, and I'm sure we'd appreciate the company. In unknown lands it's usually best to stick together. Perhaps not all of those brought to this world are as benign as you two, and I would hate to meet them without allies."

Responding to D.va he said "Yes, it was much the same for me. I suspect Sir Reihardt over here was brought to this world in a similar fashion. I suspect we were all teleported here, although I can't think of any object or creature that could have achieved such a feat. But for the moment I think we're safe in assuming that this was not done intentionally, even if we should not entirely dismiss the idea. As far as I can tell nobody in this city was expecting our arrival, and I fail to imagine anyone who would actively benefit from having a number of strangers from different worlds showing up out of nowhere." Set wondered again just what anomaly had caused them all to be brought here, and why it had picked him. It piqued his curiosity, the same curiosity that usually lead him into danger. He reflected that it was a miracle someone with his penchant for danger had managed to live so long, eternal youth or no. "Regardless, I think it's best if we get ourselves moving. We might find someone with a knowledge of starships, and Reinhardt might find those innocents." Set glanced at his two companions to see if either had any objections.
