NOTE - Updated OOC things. List of Skills, Spells and Actions.

Wait, so are the personal skills, spells and actions most of us have no longer acceptable?

Those are good. You have no idea how helpful it is. It's difficult thinking and making up Spells/Actions for EVERYONE.

Technically yes, you may wish to edit your CS. I've tried incorporated MOST of what people wrote on their CS into the lists. After tweaking, balancing, etc of course. If you see something you'd like that isn't listed, let me know/

Hastily made quick reference for current characters and classes. Yeah, we have a lot of damagers right now, heh.

And only one of them, the mage, is ranged.

I believe, at this moment, it is appropriate for me to have at least three monsters. I can make each monster be a different type. For instance, one fairy creature heals while another overweight monster soaks up damage. It's up to everyone what they would like. I see a support creature is needed.

@HueMan Didn't had much time, but I'll actually try to do these for every class or at least a bunch of them. I'm heavily taking inspiration from other games (Cabal Online, LoL, World of Warcraft) and so far, I think it functions well with the roleplay. One thing to keep in mind, is the actual usage of those actions. Players need to be careful, as mana is apparently a very important resource.

If we do get any knights, the idea with Provoke/Taunt is that: Provoke should be usable on bosses even, while taunt is a more generic/catch all skill.

Another suggestion is that you list those together with the classes and make a separate section for generic actions only. This makes it easier to keep track of them and all that jazz.

Hopefully, I'm not becoming bothersome by now XD

The only thing that gets me curious is if the character immediately starts with all these monsters right off the bat. Of course, it'd be pretty essential to have someone that flexible, but realistically it'd take a while to seek those monsters and tame them.

Which, if we consider this is meant to be a long roleplay which'll take some effort after all, is not a problem at all. I'm sure our characters can all achieve grand feats with due time. (:

I was torn between a couple of the classes but I decided to go with the mage and eventually become a rune-chanter to support the team archer class,

I don't usually do RPs with stats so this will be kinda new for me but this seems exciting regardless!

NOTE - Skills, Spells and Actions are constantly being updated with more material, so feel free to check whenever you wish.

@Leaves
I'd say Trainers will start out with 1 Monster (insert Pokemon theme song) and have enough slots for 2 at level 1. However, as you may have noticed, you are allowed to go and capture Monsters starting level one. I'm still filling in the details for Trainer since they work a little differently than other Classes.

@Project
No, I really appreciate your contributions. Makes my job here much easier. Also thanks for letting me know, I've separated out the Classes for Spells and Actions.

@Ithradine
Your CS looks good. I'll post the prices for bow/arrows ASAP.

Will there be different kinds of arrows? Like for example fire arrows, explosive arrows, freezing arrows, etc.?

I will now and forever say "I choose you" in the IC when initiating a summon. You made me this way.

Okay, that sounds fair enough. One question was on my mind. Can I spawn more than one copy of a monster? I know an ogre is a bit strong and summoning two at once is overkill, but how about a crow? Would I be able to summon just one or a murder?

Yes, of course. However, this is just level 1 starting stuff. As the game progresses I'll add many more items to the lists and shower players with unique items.

@Leaves
.... >.> ...... <.< ...... >.> What have I done.
Just one, since the Monsters do work.... well like pokemons. So capture your monsters carefully. Of course if a Monster dies, you will then have an empty slot to fill it with another. Perhaps even the one you are fighting at that moment!

Oh god. I'm going to have an attachment disorder. I totally forgot that the girl's fairy dragon bit the dust by those gorilla creatures. I was going to name my pets individually, and start a family.

Feel free to post your characters in the CS section. I think Project already has. If anyone has any questions about who is who (Classes, roles, backgrounds, etc) it'll be an easy way for me and everyone else to see.

Hi! After doing quite a bit of reading, I've decided that I am interested in this RP - and I'm thinking of playing a rogue! I have a question, though - how often will we engage in formal combat? I imagine boss fights, pvp interactions, and anything else significant would be written out, but if our characters are going to reach high levels, and if this is anything like an actual MMORPG, it will be necessary to kill quite a lot of smaller monsters to level up. I can't imagine writing all those little fights out. So, to rephrase my question, what distinguishes between a "significant" fight and one that can doesn't need to be given a ton of attention?

I just saw the price for arrows and I am so thankful I set up my skill-set to be a part-time merchant because I am going to need all the income I can get provided that is something I can do.

Welcome! And yes... it is a rather long read =_=
This is a good question and I'm hoping everyone will eventually read this. Basically first time or when fighting Monsters that actually are dangerous (Boss fights, fighting an equal or higher level Dungeon, etc) GM will be involved and we will write things out. However, for actual GRINDING of the game, players can take of it themselves. For instance, there might be a day where you can't post much, just go "I'm going to clear out this and this dungeon with these guys." And then go on a time skip till the end of the day. I'll let you know what you lost (if any) and what you gained then.

@Airalin
OR if its a dungeon where nothing significant will happen until a Boss fight or something, I'll give the players the option to "skip". In which case, similar thing will happen, you all arrive in the Boss room instantly, maybe with some loss in health and mana but overall in decent condition.
HOWEVER, if players decide to skip when its dangerous to do so, I might decide to drop you guys in a Boss room with low HP and MP. It indeed is a low-mercy. But it'd have to be fairly obvious for this like "hurr durr guys let's skip to the boss of this dungeon that's meant for Level 50 when we are only Level 20s"

So what class do you guys think we need? I was thinking of picking either a Swordsman(semi-tank), Tinker, or Rogue since we don't seem to have either of the two yet, But we seem to have a seem to have enough DPS characters.

@demonspade64

We would probably benefit from another healer especially if another tank is going to be in our party (I believe this was mentioned earlier). A another tank would allow for a rotation of the two so one doesn't soak all the damage and another healer would help with the mana costs of running a full party. Ultimately it's what you feel most comfortable playing. A swordsman that can take a bit of damage would probably be the best for the party right now.
