Mosi had hopped up the stairs to Rosheen's abode with great energy and speed. She usually moved fast when she had something she wanted to do. Moments later she found herself at the open door to the home of her new friend who was waiting for her with a rather excited expression of her own. She nodded and entered." Hey, ohh... it's a really nice place that you have." The american woman smiled, looking about.

“Yeah, time sure flies when you're doing something enjoyable.” Mosi admitted placing the reed bag on a table, pulling bundles from it.” The old couple were really nice. They even colorpicked everything to make a good set of clothing!” Priscilla explained to Rosheen, before she pulled the bundle of veil like cloth.” This I've got a little bit of different plans for it. They showed me a poster for an establishment in the city. Rather exotic looking dancer on it. I'm thinking of making something similar to that get up with this.” She explained and placed it in front of her face, hiding everything but her eyes with it. "what do you think? Well won't be for general wearing outside, but still~”

"All in all, I think I enjoyed my first day in Cairo so far and there's still more to go!" Mosi smiled widely.

Haakon J. Elvsgaard & Mahendra Huq Zalil

Location: The Museum
Skills: None

As the soaking-up to the American starlett continued, it was clear that Mahendra was enjoying less and less of it by the minute. The rolling eyes was now interchangeable with a deep-growing feeling of digust at the level of back-licking. Never in his life had he had to experience such sensationalism in person. And yet they had both agreed with help them in their search for whatever lay down in the archives, and with Neema seemingly okay with them down there, he wouldn't push the issue.

Yet. Who know when a snarky comment would, or could be made by the Bengali geologist? Was he capable of doing such a thing? Normally, no, but the combination of Josephine and Akhmed was especially troublesome. Mahendra looked at the duo, over at Haakon, and back to Neema. "Hmm...as long as they don't touch anything they're not supposed to, I guess the Curator wouldn't mind them following us"

Haakon on his part was more so eager to get going; being apart from the receptionist who was almost in love *cough* with Jo would be nice, as well as the part of making square the wrongs made in the eyes of their little "Fellowship". Haakon took off his fedora fully now, running his fingers through his -almost- newly washed hair and giving a positive smile to the new group of queer induviduals. Not neccecarly in a bad way,
just that he had never been in such a odd group of fellows, for a second time within the span of a day.

Then by all means, let's go. The sooner Lady Munn gets these...things that she requires, the better. After you, ladies." Haakon said to others, gesturing for Jo, Neema and Lauren to take the lead for several reasons. Partly because he did try to be a gentleman, but mostly because he had no idea where to go. Which frankly could apply for Mahendra, who was still new there. "Madam Neema, since you know the way?"

Nora Kingston

Location: Streets of Cairo -> Governorate (E/F 10)
Skills: Deduction, Intuition

To say that Nora was stunned would be an understatement. She had long ago given up on finding any satisfaction in her life, as she and this world were never quite meant to be. She disliked her brother's wife, Fannie, for continuing to fight a battle that Nora had long ago written off as futile and pointless. When she was a little girl, she had been told she was too sick and frail - that she would not live to see another Christmas holiday. And as she grew older, despite studying mathematics and earning her certificate, the world had already written her off. Society had dictated that she should marry and have children that she physically could not bear.

Nora had written off society in turn. In the last twenty four hours, more people had affirmed her intelligence and her worth than had done so in the last twenty seven odd years of her life. Peter's kind and elaborate words moved her. A bit of water welled up in her eyes and she blinked it away, yet not without one or two tears escaping. "Thank you, Peter," Nora said, uncertain as to how else to convey the emotions coursing through her. Perhaps she had been premature to resign herself to becoming a complete outcast one day - perhaps there were those who would accept her for who she was.

Drying her eyes, Nora closed the distance between them and the other pair with Peter, some of his words still rattling through her head. She wasn't certain what to make of Vera's birth in the second cycle of Bastet. For a moment, a thought occurred to her - what if Vera was the Bastet that she was supposedly supposed to protect? Neema had told her that the Bastet would reveal themselves. She wished that the kind woman was here, so that way she could inquire as to whether or not Vera was the person Neema spoke of. Perhaps it would be useful to record the signs of each individual brought into this mystery. With Vera's insistence that she would not even consider such thinking, Nora didn't dare raise the subject. She would entertain this theory to herself, until she may personally disprove it.

She still wished for a logical explanation for everything - something grounded in scientific and mathematic principles. Yet perhaps these were simply principles she did not yet understand, she mused. Gravity existed even before Newton realized its presence, after all.

Josephine Clark

Location: The Museum

She wanted to touch something, that was for sure. If Josephine batted her lashes any harder she would have taken flight. "Well, Ahkmed, sad you can't join us, but I would be more than happy to accompany you later, should no other pressing matters arise. I've been bored to tears here and doing anything at all is surely better than sitting around my room. Especially if you plan on being there, darling." She was laying it on a bit thick, but if this Egyptian god was eating it up she would keep spooning it out.

She felt kind of bad for Haakon though. She wasn't about to suggest he accompany her, of course, but if he wanted to or if he was invited she wouldn't say no. So long as she got some time with Ahkmed to herself, she would be pleased. She turned to face the others. "Well, shall we?" She urged them on. The sooner they go this done, the sooner she could be with her new fan.

October 4th, 1924 - 5:10 P.M. Local Time

Streets Of Cairo: Rosheen smiled over at Mosi and thanked her for the compliment on her place. Looking around her small apartment she had to admit it wasn't the most glamorous in Cairo but she was more than happy to call it home. It looked very much the quaint little home of the locals, seemed that Rosheen had adopted the local decor easily enough. Save a few pieces here and there that were obviously European. Tartan seemed to be the main fabric of choice, a little trinkets and such from home, small statue of a woman next to a peacock, and so forth.

"It does, have to watch yourself of you will loose time fully around here with so much to see," Rosheen said in an understanding voice. Walking over she peeked into the packages so she could have a look smiled. "Seemed they really set you up, those are lovely. Come by tomorrow and I can show you some patterns to help you get that together." Grabbing her bag she looked around her apartment. "Okay, lets get moving, you wanted to drop those off at your hotel before your appointment right?" she asked before shrugging. "Or you could leave them hear until later, I don't mind."

Museum: Akhmed couldn't stop smiling at Josephine and when he heard the Lord Majors voice it took him a moment to snap out of it. "Oh do excuse me my goddess extraordinaire," he said beofre finally turning his attention to Reginald. "I would think she would be in her office at this time Lord Major, she has been receiving numerous floral deliveries today," he said grinning a bit. Flowers were not something that ever got delivered to the Lady Munn, unless it was a get well arrangement after she hurt herself yet again.

As Lauren spoke up Akhmed sighed. "Seems I am a day late and a pound short Lord Major, I had forgotten she intended to take care of the permits for her upcoming expedition today. The office closes at six, so it would only make sense that she had made her way over there but she does have a new assistant," he added before glancing around a bit.

Neema hadn't stopped her walk. Glad to be on her way and to get back to the archives. Pointing off a little ways from the information desk. "Oh there he is sir, a Mahendra Zalil. Headed towards the archives with.... Ms. Banoub...." he said before tuning his attention back to Josephine. "Take care of yourself ad if you would lower yourself to be accompany me this evening, I shall be leaving promptly at six this evening. If not, I do hope to see you again soon Jo Darling," he said as he bowed deeply.

Glancing over her shoulder Neema noticed that Akhmed was pointing in their direction and there was an older heavier set British Officer next to him. "Seems someone is pointing us out," she said as she came to a stop.

Vera, Peter, & George

Location: Governorate (E/F 10)
Skills: Focus (Vera), Mental Stamina (Vera)

Vera stopped right before she entered the building and glanced towards George as he stood there. His head was lowering again as it did back in the as it had back at the museum, his shoulder hunching. It was as if he was trying his best not to draw attention to himself. Thing was the more he acted this way the more people were looking, thankfully the masked side of his face was close to the building itself and it kept most from even noticing something was the slightest bit off. Taking a breath she reached over and rested her hand on his arm. "Would you prefer to remain outside? I shan't be but a moment. I dare say that us two women can handle things inside. Perhaps you and Peter could take a moment to catch up?" Vera suggested.

Peter reached into his breast pocket and pulled out an olive silk handkerchief. A quick flick of his wrist and it opened fully before he held it out towards Lauren and turned to block Veras and Georges view of her as he noticed the tears. "You are most welcome and I am sorry. It is obvious by your reaction that no one has bothered to tell you these things before. It should have been said long ago. Chin up. From one Mathematician to another, numbers solve everything," he chuckled. Giving her a moment to compose herself more fully before they continued.

"Mmm, you don't mind?" George asked as his one eye came up to Vera. While he was accustomed to Peter and a few others whom he was close to back home being kind to him and understanding of his situation he wasn't from a stranger. Yet she didn't feel like a stranger to him. Perhaps that was because of the numerous times Peter had spoken about her to him when he was laid up in the hospital. He had enjoyed hearing about her but at the same time it had saddened him. He knew he would never find a gal to take home and have a family with. The last of his family would be his sister. Peter had tried to tell him that he would find someone but it was a hard thing to swallow.

"Of course not. I wouldn't go inside if I didn't have business to attend to, nor would I have so many around. I much prefer to be left to my reading and work," she said as she stood there. It was true. While Vera enjoyed the company of some others for the most part she enjoyed being the bluestocking she was and in the shadows. Yet she couldn't deny that she was excited about leading an expedition and some of those she had met seemed to be ones she would want to be around. Lady... No, Miss Kingston was one of them. Very sharp mind on that one.

Peter finally turned and caught up with the two at the door. Quirking a brow he wondered if they had held up the pair yet again. "Shall we then?" he asked as he stood there. He hoped he had taken enough time for Nora to compose herself fully. Leaning against his cane slightly he looked at the two as Vera shook her head slightly. "What do you mean no?"

"Mmm, Vera says she and Miss Kingston have this," George interjected. He hadn't realized that he called Vera by her first name to Peter but the woman had insisted that he call her as such and he didn't know the finer points of English etiquette when it came to the whole peerage thing. Heck he didn't even know Veras full title. To him she was just a woman whom Peter had spoken about a lot on a more personal level and that was being kind to him.

Peter however did take notice, as did Vera but she covered quickly. She was smoother with words than she was her own two feet. Especially since a certain head strong American was no longer in her presence seemingly trying to cause her a headache constantly. "Quite. Miss Kingston and myself can handle this, you and George should go and catch up. We shouldn't be long," she added before turning and heading in side. She tripped slightly and George caught her by her elbow, easing her up the stairs and inside before stepping out of the way and clearing a path for Lauren to follow.

Reginald Keystone

Location: The Museum
Skills: N/A

The reception in the Museum seemed to be a bit chillier than usual, seeing as only one person deigned to notice his arrival. Reginald frowned briefly, then gave initial response to the one who addressed him upon entry. "It is likewise a pleasure to see you again as well, Miss Ridgeway. I trust your day thusfar has been satisfactory?" It was a twinge of politeness in response to that which he had received. The news that Vera had gone to the permit office was expected, but only in hindsight. At his own office, Reginald was the man around whom the rest of the world revolved. If he wanted something done, people fell over themselves to make it fit into his schedule. Outside of those walls, unless at the head of a march of British Regulars or up in the air with a wing of areal daredevils, he had to operate at the speed of the world around him, and the schedules of others. It was a bother sometimes, but fully understandable.

Dear Akhmed seemed a little distracted, too. It took Reginald a little time until he understood what was going on. "...ah, the starlet, yes..." he mumbled to himself when it became clear. While not an avid fanatic of the silver screen, he had many men under him who were, and discussions pertaining to the subject oft found him staring down starstruck young servicemen. Akhmed had the same look on his face. Luckily, the man was able to roll his tongue back inside of his head long enough to point out the existence and location of Vera's new assistant. Even threw in a name for good measure. "Mahendra Zalil." he spoke aloud, trying the name on for size. The moment that the esteemed Ms. Banoub (another new face) halted her party of two and looked in his direction, the Lord Major smiled, gave a polite wave, and approached the pair.

"Good day sir, madame... I am Lord Major Reginald Keystone, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, the both of you. I understand, Mr. Zalil, that you are Vera's new assistant. She is very dear to me, you see, and I have inclination to introduce myself to the man who will be my niece's right hand for the foreseeable future. Oxford material, I presume?"

Lauren gave Reginald a friendly smile and nodded towards him. "It's been pretty well so far, how about yours lord major?" Lauren asked, looking towards Neema for a moment. She was about to introduce Reginald to Neema but he was already on it, letting the older british man introduce himself to her. Lauren crossed her arms over her chest she couldn't help do another little eye roll, with Ahkmed still swooning over Josephine. Lauren looked back towards Reginald, she was curious if he would also be helping out with looking for the tablets that were missing.

Lauren wondered for a moment how things were going over at the permit offices. "Would you like to help us find a few tablets in the archives?" Lauren asked Reginald, she assumed that he just came over to see Vera though there was already a number of people going there as well. Lauren looked towards Mahendra and Ahkmed, since the two men actually did work at the museum there were a number of them who didn't work at the museum going down there.

“Yeah... it might be a good idea.” Mosi admitted, with a smile, stretching her hands a little, carrying the reed bag was actually kind of fun for her and she didn't even understand why it was.” I haven't really properly gotten registered into the room at the hotel actually. It was still being cleaned so they told me to come later. I guess better do it now, will drop these off too while we're at it. Actually no, since we're going to be working on getting these into proper clothing, might be better to leave them here actually. I've got no real sewing materials and the like in my luggage.” The American woman stated, carefully placing the reed bag in a place where it won't be a bother and quickly exited her new friend's gracious abode.

“Might have to grab a taxi of some kind to bring us to the museum faster after we finish with the hotel in quick, but it's fine~” Mosi was a happy little foreigner right now. She had friend, she had a smithing display of skill to visit, all was good.

“I'm going to be staying at the Shepheards Hotel.” She quickly informed Rosheen, waiting for her friend to lock her place and etc, so they can get walking.” I lucked out and they had a room for me to get right away and I didn't have to search through the many hotels for one.” She explained.” Might eventually think about getting a place out of a hotel though. Maybe rent something for more lengthy periods.”

Haakon J. Elvsgaard & Mahendra Huq Zalil

Location: The Museum

About to leave himself alongside Neema and Mahendra after Josephine seemed ready to depart, as well as caught up in the storm of star-strickenness of Akhmed the receptionist - for what else was he actually?-, Haakon had managed to completely miss the entrance of the honourable Lord Major Keystone upon the museum. Well, this was awkward, especially considering Josephine, Reginald and he had had a very special heart-to-heart not too long ago. Haakon tried to act surprised as he looked at the Lord Major, giving a polite not to the elderly military man.

"Lord Major, Sir. Oh I'm sorry, didn't realize it was you! The heat you know..." Haakon began, hoping to give him the benefit of the doubt in hopes of not appearing like what could be best described as 'an idiot'. But it didn't seem that the Lord Major was interested, as he turned his attention to the two other newcomers.

Mahendra had already began to walk, trying to ignore whatever nonsense-talk was taking place behind Neema and him. They hadn't gotten far when he heard his name being called out behind him. Not wrongly pronounced entirely, but still enough to make him turn around, alongside Neema's attention to them being pointed at. The man probably being directed towards the two of them, was easily recognized as a high-ranking British officer, very familiar to Mahendra, even if he had never met this man in person before. But unlike the looks he had recieved before, he couldn't help but feel a geniune positiveness aimed him. Especially when Lord Major Reginald Keystone addressed him as Vera's new assistant. It felt optimistic. Mahendra gave a polite nod to him, restraining himself from giving him a full military salute.

"The pleasure is mutual, Sir Lord Major. That is correct, Sir, I was given the position just today as a matter of fact. And I am looking forward to working for her. You are too kind, Sir, but yes, I am 'Oxford material'. Six years in study and work in Britain, and if I may so add, three year's service for King and Country." Mahendra said with a sense of pride to Reginald, not sure whether that was what he wanted to know. But in the presence of his superior's uncle, he wanted to make an good impression.

Nora Kingston

Location: Governorate (E/F 10)
Skills: Social Etiquette

Nora accepted Peter's handkerchief, feeling a bit foolish as she dabbed at her eyes. Regaining her composure was not too terribly difficult. With the household she was raised in, she often was expected to put on a brave face even when her illness was ravaging her. She took a few slow breaths before smiling back at Peter. "My apologies - I am afraid I am not normally so easily prone to tears," Nora said quietly. She laughed quietly at Peter's small joke, enjoying the quintessential British-ness and mathematic nature of this conversation.

"Of course. We're British - a stiff upper lift and a cup of tea solve all problems," Nora replied. Her voice was soft but yet it was not meek. She was a quiet individual by nature by after tearing up in front of Peter, any shyness was gone. He was one of the few to call her Miss Kingston as well. He seemed to be a good man. Vera was lucky.

As they rejoined the others, Nora had regained her composure. She noted how George referred to Vera by her Christian name - it struck her as a bit odd. There were intricate rules when it came to matters of address amongst the peerage - the same rules that made it almost impossible to differentiate between Nora, her sisters, and her mother in conversation. There were too many Lady Kingstons in this world. And while some did prefer to be addressed by Christian names - or without title, such as herself - she could not help but note how a man that terrified both her and Vera not more than an hour ago was now on such friendly terms with Vera.

She smiled as Vera addressed her as Miss Kingston. "Yes, we should be quite alright. Thank you for the escort...Peter," Nora said, catching herself before calling him Lord Captain. He had asked that she use Peter - and so she would. She nodded at the two gentlemen before following after Vera and going inside.

Josephine was in her own little world. She didn't register when the Lord Major entered and she couldn't have cared less. She was in heaven. Not only had she been recognized in this country, but she was recognized by probably one of the most handsome men she had ever laid eyes on. She bid Akhmed farewell, with the hopes of seeing him in the future when her attention finally hit on the Lord Major.

"Oh, Lord Major, wonderful to see you again." Josephine flittered about, walking on clouds. She had little interest in anything being talked about as she daydreamed about her upcoming conquest. She walked by Haakon with a knowing smile. She wanted to get this inventory detail done as soon as possible. She had important matters to get to, after all.

Streets Of Cairo: "Oh hun, don't worry, I have us covered. That is if you are up for a little adventure," Rosheen said with a bright smile on her face and a twinkle in her green eyes. Darting down the stairs in front of her apartment once she had locked things up she hit the street and went around a corner. Coming out a few seconds later pushing a 1924 BMW R32 Motorcycle. Grabbing the shawl from around her waist that was tied over her skirt she wove it between her legs and turns her flowing skirt into a makeshift pair of pants before climbing on and starting it up.

It roared to life and the Scottish woman smirked as she patted the thin padded seat just behind her. "Why wait on a cab or walk when we can ride and cut our way through the crowds?" she said in her thick Scottish accent. Seemed the woman was willing to be up to a little bit of mischief. "I can get us to the hotel and then the museum in no time. That is if you are game darling."

Museum: Akhmed nodded towards the Lord Major and turned his attention back to Josephine. He couldn't exactly leave his post right then and went back to work but his eyes kept darting over to her from time to time even though there was a fair amount of distance between him and the rest of the group now with visitors walking in the way.

Keystone.. Keystone? Neema went over the name in her mind before finally grasping on something in her thoughts and yanking it out. "Oh, would you happen to be related to the young man that was here earlier? The one with the cane?" the old woman asked as she stood there on Mahendras arm. She didn't want to assume they were related. For all she knew Keystone was a common last name in Britain like Smith was. Yet they had both come calling on Vera and he did mention she was his niece. Then that struck her as odd. If that was her uncle and Peter... If they were related all around was incest a common thing in Britain?

"It was my pleasure Nora," Peter said in a kind voice as Nora followed Vera. George held the door open for both of the women as they stepped inside. Once they were inside he let go of the door and stepped away from it. Turning the man made sure to keep the mask side of his face closest to the wall of the building as he looked around. "Well she is a delight. To think, a Mathematician working with Vera. I am sure she is finding the company refreshing compared to the women she was forced to be around back in London." Peter was commenting in passing as he stood there and rested against his cane somewhat.

"Peter..." George said as he eye went over to the man. He was looking him over and shook his head slightly. The two men had come to an agreement before they left the barracks and that agreement had been filled all things considered. At least his side of it had, now it was time for Peter to fulfill his side of the bargain. Adjusting the cap on his head he waited for an answer from his oldest friend.

"I know... Yet, can we not stay just a bit longer? Damage has already been done, what harm would it bring?" Peter asked and smiled. "And you did seem to enjoy Vera's company. It is good to see my best mate getting along so well with my darling girl."

George did not like the insinuation and he could give a thousand and one reasons to but something else was tugging at him right then and he caved. At least for now. "Mmm.. I better pick up a gift, you know how she is..." George said and Peters face lit up. "You're paying."

"Right, of course. Let's go shopping. There are a few things I wanted to pick up for this evening," Peter said cheerfully before the two men made their way down the street. They had business to attend to while the girls were taking care of things for the rest of the group.

Vera looked around inside and bit her bottom lip. She was mumbling to herself as she pointed along the directory that hung on the wall. Glancing over as Nora caught up with her. "Thank you so much for coming. Everything has become quite overwhelming very quickly between the proposed trip and Peter arriving, I am not sure my sanity can hold on to itself. At least around you I need not fear someone saying I am suffering from hysterics," Vera said in passing as her finger kept moving along the directory.

"Blasted, they have moved offices again. Why can one never sty put in this day and age?" she pondered out loud before she finally located the new location of Permits. Smiling to herself she made a note of it and then turned her attention fully to Nora. "I do hope the walk with Peter was pleasant enough. I always found he had a tremendous way with words and enjoyable to speak with at leisure."

Lauren looked between Neema and Lord Major Keystone when she asked if she was related to Peter in someway, but she decided that it wasn't really her place to answer it. Lauren watched as Mahendra answered Keystone's question getting some information on the newcomer as well which was good to know now. Spending sometime learning in Britain, Lauren then started to think about going over there and visiting the country herself as well. Lauren lightly started to play around with her hair a bit as she stood there next to Neema she started wonder what else they would be able to find in the archives.

Her attention then went towards Josephine as she started to approach the group and gave her a friendly smile. "How has your morning been so far?" Lauren asked remembering that she had left with Vera and William earlier in the morning leaving everyone else behind before coming over here to the museum. Lauren then looked over at Haakon and gave the man a friendly smile and wave towards him as well. "Hello again to you as well." Lauren said.

Mosi quickly followed after Rosheen only to be surprised in the most pleasant way when the woman pulled a Motorcycle. Now this was a thing that the American didn't really expect, thus the pleasant surprise. She smiled, her eyes shining like polished emeralds as she studied the motorcycle and it's owner with impressed, happy and pleased expression.

“Darling, you have nooooo idea. It's like you're a girl after my own heart and mind~ you're not trying to seduce me, are you?” Mosi said with mostly joking voice and grinned widely as she quickly hopped behind Rosheen, finding where to hold for balance and safety.” I'm game! Let's do this!” She almost shouted happily, waiting for the ride.

This day just went for good to great! Hell in a single day she had more fun than she had the last half an year. In America it was rather drape affair with everything that she had to deal with. She had barely arrived here and things exploded in sunshine, glitter and rainbows. On the scale of 1 to 10 she gave this day full 10. It didn't matter what the smithing event was going to be like at this point. She had her fun. She knew she liked Scottish woman from the moment she saw her. Mosi was so glad her feeling was so on the spot!

Reginald Keystone

Location: The Museum
Skills: N/A

Providing a polite smile standard to British manners in times of new introductions, Reginald turned to Lauren to respond to her initial query. Last In is First Out, as the uniform rules for military rotation went. Naturally exceptions were made based upon rank and nature of emergency, but if all things were on equal footing, it was considered proper to act in the manner prescribed by the immortal Lewis Carroll's equally immortal character, The Mad Hatter: "Start at the beginning, and when you come to the end, stop." Not that Reginald put much stock in the words of an opium-smoking mathematician turned author who didn't have the forthrightness to pen under his given name, but wisdom came in many unexpected places.

"A pleasure, Miss Ridgeway, for certain. I shouldn't mind lending my eyes in the archives, of course, if only temporary in nature owing to other business. However, permission must be established by the masters of this institution before a relative layperson such as myself place hands upon the treasures herein. To wit, I should have to hear from the Curator or Lady Munn on the matter."

Concerning the man he had personally approached, Mahendra Zalil, the Lord Major found himself pleasantly surprised. He was being mildly satirical with the comment about the man being Oxford material, and found it noteworthy when he responded that he did indeed attend and graduate from Oxford University back in jolly old England. Unless he was not fully understanding the British idiom, in which case Reginald was simply going to have to push onward, conversationally. "Yes, quite. Action in service to King and Country is never wasted, sir. I am a Woolwich man myself; career military, you see. But so long as circumstance brings the two of us together in this place of revered study, I would like to pose a very pointed question, sir: Did Lady Munn happen to mention when she would return?"

Josephine took the occasion to make polite greeting, though it seemed that her attention was focused elsewhere. Not wanting to ruin her emotional crest, he responded with a simple, "Likewise of course, madame." She had her eyes on a potential target, or Reginald was the Queen of France.

Ms. Banoub finished up the exchange by posing a question of relation. "Ah, I see that you have met the Lord Captain. Yes, the young man is my brother's son; nephew by blood and the Second Heir to the Earldom of Sussex. It would otherwise be a miraculous coincidence having two Keystones this far away from the Motherland simultaneously."

Haakon J. Elvsgaard & Mahendra Huq Zalil

Location: The Museum
Skills: None

Haakon continued to stand halfway on the side and out of the way of the conversations that was taking place. He felt awkward in this position, even though this had hardly been the first time someone had ignored what he only presumed they viewed as a nosy reporter. Still, the fact that even Jospehine apparently had better things set sight on made him stand there, looking at the various characters that now inhabited the reception. They were indeed a rag-tag group of people, like he had already thought so many times before that day and the day before.

"Hello, Miss Ridgeway. Like you said; Again." Haakon said, adding a chuckle at the end of his words in hopes of making his prior awkward disposition less awkward. At least Lauren had had the kind heart to acknowledge his existence. Haakon looked back at Josephine as she too looked at him with a certain look. A knowing look. It wasn't hard for the reporter to comprehend what was going on in that mind behind those dashing, brown eyes. Haakon watched her walk past him, looked back at Akhmed, and returned back to where the conversation was at.

"A fine choice of career indeed, Sir, a fine choice. Perhaps I would have had the honour of attending myself, but rocks and landscapes appear to have become my path in this life. Perhaps in another one?" Mahendra's smile widened genuinely at the Lord Major's approval of his military service, which meant a lot from a man of such rank as the older and wiser Englishman. He had indeed heard of Woolwich, but with the lack of information of British education, Oxford was really the only choice for a man of the Subcontinent.

Mahendra had very much wished to give the Lord Major a satisfactory answer to his inquest, but the more he thought about it as he tried to form words in his mouth, the terrible sight of George reappeared before his eyes. Hopefully it didn't look as if the Bengali had seen a ghost, but inside him, he felt a sense of dread as he couldn't find the answer. "I'm afraid I cannot say for certain, Sir Lord Major. There was many subjects mentioned in her office, and...let us just say, if I may, that I was not one of the fortunate ones to be observant to that question."

Josephine Clark

Location: The Museum
Skills: None At This Time

Josephine mentally waved off the Lord Major's greeting. She was riding Cloud 9. At this point, she wasn't concerned she was spending time in this dull museum. Life was good again! She almost forgot her real reason for being here. No, she still wanted to check in with Lady Munn, but she was also looking forward to her rendezvous later.

Josephine was practically flouncing around the room. She wanted to get this over and done with and the Lord Major was holding everyone's time. "Walk and talk, everyone! The sooner we get this done, the better." God, you would think people were reverting back to their caveman ancestors when they had to stand around and talk. Time was money, after all. She heard that saying in the movie industry. Hell, she lived by it.

Nora Kingston

Location: Governorate (E/F 10)
Skills: Acute Observation, Intuition, Deduction

If anyone was suffering from a case of hysterics, Nora mused, it was herself. Twenty four hours ago, she had been spending her time delving into the realm of mathematics and dismissing anything extraordinary that reached beyond Euler's identity as fiction. She preferred to be grounded in reality and logic, leaving tales of fantasy for a guilty pleasure to be read and then set aside. Yet now, she had been branded by what was apparently an Egyptian goddess and had been instructed that she was meant to defend a Bastet. As far as she could tell, Lady Munn appeared to be the best candidate.

Yet had she informed anyone of her dreams and the events that had happened, she would most certainly be admitted for treatment. Her father would likely send her back to England to a facility in the countryside, away from the prying eyes of society. His youngest daughter was already enough of an oddity without mental instability. She had no such plans of discussing her theories quite yet - not until she had enough evidence to either disprove her thoughts or to make them arguable. She certainly was not going to inform Lady Munn that there may be some significance to the Egyptian astrology - not quite yet. She needed more data points.

"It was no trouble at all, Lady Munn," Nora replied softly. "I am more than certain that your mind has the strength to conquer any challenge that may arise throughout the course of these odd events. And yes, Peter was quite lovely. I must agree that he has a natural talent when it comes to interactions - and I did appreciate receiving the opportunity to speak with another mathematician."

Streets Of Cairo: Rosheen laughed. "You never know darlin'" she said in a bright voice before kicking back the kick stand on the bike and letting Mosi get situated. Once she had, they were off. Rosheen only started off slow to get them out of the alleyway but once they were on the streets the red head didn't hold back. Her green eyes shinning as the folds of her skirt turned pants rippled in the wind. She was cutting through traffic and weaving through it as if she had been doing it for years. She had.

That was probably what saved them as suddenly from behind a parked truck a person hit the ground face first and a Rosheen swerved to avoid running over the man. Turning her head she spotted a goat standing on top of him , butting the back of his skull. Quirking a brow she whipped her head back around. "Fucking Mr. Clops got out again." It was a passing comment as she kept on her way. "Why I said hold on," she laughed as they pulled up to the Shepheards Hotel and Rosheen parked the bike near the front of the hotel. "Well, got you here. Lets get you checked in."

Museum: "Yes, walk and talk," Neema said in agreement as she continued on. It was a good idea. They had work to do anyways. As Reginald confirmed that Peter was his nephew she could resist asking anymore. "I have to ask. You say he is your nephew and that Vera is your niece. Forgive me if I am out of line but are they brother and sister? And if so... are their parents okay with Peter courting Vera?" Neema asked bluntly as they headed downstairs and reached the doors to the archives. She stepped back so that Mahendra could unlock the door since Akhmed had refused to hand the key over to her. Not that she cared, if she wanted a key bad enough she would just go and speak to the curator directly. She was sure she could persuade him to give her one even after all this time.

Vera

Location: Governorate (E/F 10)
Skills: Focus, Mental Stamina

Vera gave a slight smile as she smoothed down the front of her skirt and pushed her curls out of her face. "He is a wonderful conversationalist. I am sure he found it refreshing to have someone on his own mental level with a love of mathematics to speak with. There are so few he considers true mathematicians around," Vera said as she stepped over to Nora and laced her arm through Noras. It wasn't uncommon for Ladys in Britain to walk arm in arm if they were without a male escort. This tended to give the impression that they were escorting themselves and while not the best way to go about things it was better than to be a woman alone on the streets in a strange city. Especially in Cairo, which had such a heavy population of Brits roaming about and doing business. The last thing Vera needed was someone in the ton to see her out alone. She had no idea how things were Nora but she could only imagine with her being a Lady, it couldn't have been much different.

Making her way down the halls she mumbled to herself as she walked. Mostly reading the numbers and names on the doors as they passed them. It was a habit that got Vera ridiculed on more than one occasion, her tendency to mumble as she walked. What so few had taken into account was what she was mumbling. It was her way of making notes about her surroundings, it was part of her researching things. If she said it to herself she was more likely to remember it. She didn't have a photographic memory, she wished she did, but these little boughts of mumbling helped her recall things much easier than if she didn't.

After rounding several different corners and making their way up a set of stairs the hallway finally opened up to a larger area. It was set up like a bank with several stalls, a person behind each counter with a line in front of them. The only one that was empty was at the far left. No one was sitting there currently but the sign above it Vera read to herself, mumbling as she read the line of English below the Egyptian Arabic. "Archaeological" Looking over towards Nora she bit her bottom lip and gave a nervous smile before letting out a deep breath and heading towards the counter. She nearly tripped, yet again, as they reached the counter but she caught herself and managed to straighten herself up before ringing the bell that sat on the counter.

Priscilla Harker

Location:Shepheards Hotel
Skills: None

The travel from Rosheen's home to the hotel was not without it's own little adventures. Mosi Had to hold quite tightly and make sure she won't fall, because all be fair her new friend was a wild driver. What was even more truth was that it was just as Mosi liked it in the end. A little wild with a trusty person by your side made everything enjoyable.

“Oh... hahaha.” She couldn't help herself from laughing when she also saw the goat that had just beaten a man to the ground and now more or less was just doing the victory shame tour on the back of his head, showing him who was the bigger blockhead from the two of them.” Seems it happens often eh? Goats sure are more militaristic here than back in the states.” She asked, still snickering about the whole thing. Seeing how Rosheen seemed to know who that was and more importantly the name of the goat?

“Thank you, Rosheen. Better get this settling in done as fast as I can.” She smiled as she quickly hopped towards the hotel, heading for the front desk.” Good day.” She quickly greeted.” My name's Priscilla Harker. I came earlier to rent a room, but I was told it was still being cleaned and to come later. It's room 216.” Mosi quickly explained, reaching for her trusty wallet.” My luggage was left here for safekeeping while I took a walk around the city.”
