Tiffany Lyle and Jack Hudson

Location: Walking Towards Arnco Mills

On that note, Tiffany sped along as quickly as possible. They needed to get to safety soon. It was still daylight out, thankfully, but it would be foolish to be out and about in unknown territory during the night. Tiffany kept up with Jack, for the most part, less he get away from her again and she needs to speed moonwalk over to him. However, as luck would have it, the ice made things hard and she found herself sinking a bit lower and nearly tripping.

She glanced down to see her foot stuck in mud caused by the ice. Worry spread across her face as she tried to lodge herself out. She managed to get it out with a good tug, mud caking her foot. It was better than being stuck. She looked over to Jack, giving him an "I'm all right" look before she stood up and continued to follow him.

Jack nodded, continuing to move - this time, northward. The ice was cracking beneath his feet, making a silent effort a bit impossible yet it didn't matter too much in the long run. They already had several walkers looking at them - they just needed to try their best to keep their distance at this point. He glanced behind him to make sure that Tiffany was alright, and in that second, something caught on his foot. He tumbled forward, narrowly managing to keep his balance. His arms flailed about in the air almost comically.

Tiffany worried when Jack nearly fell, but he was still up and moving. They continued North, hoping to be rid of the horde soon. She noticed Jack nearly fell when he looked at her. She didn't want to be the cause of any accidents so she did her best to keep up with him in the hopes the two of them could rely on each other in case things got dicey. Tiffany moved quickly and surprised herself at how quiet she was being. It was best not to alert more Walkers than necessary. If they stayed in the forest it would be ok, but they couldn't be here long. Who knew what awaited them inside?

As they kept on moving, Jack's mind wasn't as focused on the task at hand as it should have been. His mind had drifted to a place as dark and morose as it was cheerful, as his [a href="static0.srcdn.com/wp-content/uploads/…"]mother[/a] came to mind. In his nightmares, it was her in her final moments - as a walker. Yet this was so much worse. He remembered her on a chilly February day, out in the snow giving a tour to the latest influx of tourists to Boston. She was dressed in period garb, attempting to give them all the impression that it was 1776. He got his love of U.S. history from her - her passion inspired him.

Jack let out a sigh and kept on moving. They had to be getting close - right?

Tiffany could feel herself lagging behind Jack. The day was getting longer with everything going on. She felt tired, but she knew she couldn't stop. Not yet. She didn't want to hold Jack back. They had to be getting closer. She continued to trudge along, thankful that they hadn't encountered anything else yet. Hopefully they would get to Arnco soon, or at least find a spot to stop and rest, even for a few minutes.

Ashton, Riley, Niesha

Location: The Hordebuster
Skills: Mechanic (Ash), Engineer (Ash)

Well, it was a banner day for the Hordebuster crew. Aside from the destruction of the only real home they had known since the Apocalypse, and of course, The Apocalypse, the general insanity reigning inside of the heavily modified vehicle, and the deaths of so many good, decent people for nothing, yes, aside from these unfortunate bits and pieces of Fate sticking it in and breaking it off, Ash couldn't seem to keep his truck on the road. The moment that the single walking corpse met its second end by the Hordebuster, the vehicle thundered directly past Jefferson Street, past the NAPA Auto parts store, and into the southern end of an industrial complex they had scoured for parts and supplies long ago.

Far from hysterical at the painfully unlikely turn of events, Ash simply sat behind the wheel of the Hordebuster, a disappointed look plastered on a weary face. He briefly considered taking a moment to beat his head upon said steering wheel in hopes of knocking himself unconscious, taking him out of any decision making for the next couple of hours. It was unbelievable that a vehicle with a history of being massively reliable, that had saved a population and continued to serve valiantly would suddenly betray him in this manner repeatedly. If the problem was with him, then they were screwed. No one else knew how to drive this beast like he could. But if all he could do was continually run them off of the road, then perhaps it was best to find a quiet spot and call it a day. Unfortunately, the only place he suspected was a quiet spot was in Arnco Mills. What would have otherwise been a fifteen minute drive or less was now bound to take all goddamned day. "Okay, to hell with this." he stated, determination and rage bubbling beneath a facade of stoicism, "This yard looks mostly clear. I'm cutting through here and getting us back to Jefferson. Meantime, I need someone with a map feeding me directions. We're making a run for Highway 34 to Alt 27, unless one of you can plot a better path."

Niesha very nearly fell into hysterical laughter again as they once more crashed, went off the road. Whether it was just the hoardbuster saying it wanted to rest, or Ash just not having a good driving day, it was a moot point. The day had been long, tiring and challenging and they did all need to rest. At the mention of a map, Niesha sighed softly. She hadn't thought to grab any of that- while she had thought on other supplies, she'd just stuck with the weapons she'd need. And the funeral home had been easy to find, so no map had been needed.

She shook her head, "If we have a map, I can do it." she said, glancing to Riley to see if she had one.

Riley gripped the edges of her seat when she watched Ashton driving over yet another walker, she could have probably made an entire game now at this point, to see how many things Ashton could nearly crash into or run over. Riley watched as they drove past a NAPA Auto Parts store parking lot and into an industrial complex lot. Riley listened to Ashton, asking if either of them had a map on them to plot a course. Riley then looked towards Niesha giving her a 'don't look at me look', she was more focused on getting out of Newnan more then anything else and didn't think of getting a bugout bag.

"I don't have a map on me, do you happen to have one lying about in here?" Riley asked, she never truly looked at a map in her life, they were always so confusing to read. She remembered the few times where her parents would find a map while she and Chloe and their brother went on a family vacation and they took long hours on the road. "If you have one in here, then I can help out navigating as best as I can." She offered.

With a sudden and unappreciable lack of warning, Ash tapped lightly on the brake and brought the wheel of the Hordebuster around, catapulting the formidable vehicle into a turn that, despite most physical laws to the contrary, greatly resembled a maneuver from "Tokyo Drift". He had meant to only bear right into the coming industrial complex, but either his mind was far, far elsewhere, or the 'Buster had other ideas. Either way, the generally stable truck now showed its potential for "goin' a-muddin'", as it spun off of the paved area and onto the grass, cutting a swath of lightly smoking, torn greenery behind it, and pointing them directly at a nearby building going at a screamingly high rate of speed. Oddly, the Captain remained stonefaced the entire time.

At the last possible second, Ash leaned on the wheel, prompting the Hordebuster to fling itself almost parallel to the building. Almost. When he punched the gas again, just shy of clearing the faded, orange-roofed building, the leading edge of the Hordebuster's plowhead took out a corner of the structure. While little the worse for wear, it did make a stated, crunching sound, not unlike the noise one might imagine Ash's faith in his driving abilities must also be making after the last ten minutes. Clear of obstructions, Ash pulled a wide, awkward turn, damn near running into the building yet again yet finally, finally pointing himself back at the road he had intended to turn onto in the first place. Jefferson Street. And here he was beginning to believe it was only a myth.

Finally back on the road and pointed the right direction, Ash stoically turned his head in the general direction of Niesha, calmly stating, "I have a bugout bag on the floor between our seats. You should find a map in there." He then turned his head back around to wordlessly scan the road in front of them.

As Ash once more tried to ensure the hoardbuster had a place in "Monster Trucks of History" Niesha clung to the edge of her seat with her right hand, the knuckles going white. She made no sound as Ash seemed to spin the hoardbuster about, eventually getting on what she hoped was the right track.

She let out a breath of relief, before she nodded and sought to retrieve the bug out bag, ruffling through it until she found the map. "Got it." She said, shifting back into her seat, and wondering if they should just stop where they were. Ash wasn't having a good driving day, but even as she thought that she recognised that only a building falling down on the Hoardbuster would be trouble for it. She just had to hope that he wouldn't crash into a building that decided to retaliate.

Riley held onto the seat some more nearly white knuckling her grip on it, as Ashton hit the side of the building quietly muttering to herself that they would make it alive despite Ashton's erratic driving. She leaned back slightly as she listened to Ashton mentioning that there was a bugout bag in there. Watching as Niesha grabbed the bugout bag that was in between her and Ashton. At least they had a map now and they could finally go in the right direction on where they need to go, she really needed a drink and to get out the moment they were safely at their intended destination.

Ash methodically turned his head to Niesha, and then to Riley. The utter lack of emotion was palpable. He tilted his neck again, bringing his eyes back in line with Niesha's. Silently affirming that she was in possession of the map from the bugout bag, he turned again, facing the road. Ash mentally scanned their intended route (ie: straight ahead) and set foot to accelerator.

The Hordebuster went sideways.

Not fully, partially levitated sideways, more than a particularly impressive and totally unexpected turn to the right, executed in the most ass way possible. The Hordebuster ran off of the road, seemingly instantaneously reaching top speed. It barreled over the low shoulder, coming smoothly down onto the ground on the other side and transitioning into the smallish parking lot beyond, liquefying an upright corpse in the process. It fishtailed around in a wide arc, its dump body obliterating another dead guy and coming to rest facing the proper direction on an intersecting side street. Yet another member of the formerly living began to saunter up in front of them as the Hordebuster sat idling in the middle of the street. With a shrug, Ash decided to just go with it, punching the gas hard enough to hear a half-second of tires squealing before the machine lurched forward, splattering the poor, dead bastard across the countryside.

Again merging back onto Jefferson Street, Ash looked to his passengers and said with utter nonchalance, "Sorry. Knew that guy."

As Ash once more, quite calmly and in a way that was beginning to freak Niesha out. Maybe he wasn't as sane as she thought... Maybe he was affected by whatever had happened more than she thought... What could she do? Ash was, perhaps, dangerous to them. She doubted that she could overpower him, and even if she did, she doubted she could ever drive the hoardbuster. So instead, she gripped her seat once more, and closed her eyes tightly.

Even when the Hoardbuster seemed to be under control she didn't open her eyes right away. She could feel her heart racing, and she had crumpled the map slightly in her intense grip.

"Hey, Ash? How much did you have to drink before we got in?" She asked nonchalantly, "Just asking. Maybe there's something wrong with the busters wheels?"

Riley was really thinking of just getting out of the Buster and doing a human barrel roll out of it due to Ash's erratic driving skills. But she remained as quiet as she could trying to focus on other things, like all of the good times that she had before the outbreak started. Even the good times when she was younger with Chloe, she just ignored the splattering sounds of walkers harmlessly hitting against the Hordebuster.

Riley then looked over towards Niesha when she asked him if Ashton had been drinking at all since they had gotten into the truck with him. She decided to not even make a comment, she thought that it was most likely just due to all of the ice that was on the road.

"Drink? Yeah. Love one." murmured Ash, sizing up the very straight path in front of him. The truck was pointed in the right direction, the wheels were straight, and all the driver had to do was ease onto the accelerator and keep the steering wheel still. He could do that. No problem. Well, except that it was a problem, apparently. As Ash gently eased his foot onto the gas pedal, The Hordebuster decided that it had just about enough of the whole 'going in a straight line' deal, and instead roared off of the side of the road, splattering another animated corpse. Ash wheeled it back around, again, and got it back on the road, again, taking out two more in the process. A short wrestle with the wheel, and they were back underway! Hopefully to hit the main road and breeze out of the area.

"Well. At least you are taking out walkers. Like a bowling ball hitting the bumpers." Niesha said, keeping her tone light as she tried to relax, opening the map, but not really knowing where they were at the moment, she simply refused to look forward anymore. Although she was worried about Ash's driving and apparent nonchalance about it all, she couldn't do anything about it until they found a place to stop. And even then, she doubted she could do anything.

They needed Victor... But she didn't even know if he was alive. Her thoughts once more turned to Newman, and she had to hope that people got out. She sighed, and shook her head, pushing those thoughts aside. "So. Map."

Amelia, Raymond, & Samira

Location: Church southeast of Newnan
Skills: Stealth(x6), Athletics(x6), Math(x2), Perception (3x), First Aid (1x)

“We should head out... as far as we can...” Amelia broke the moment of relaxing, as she looked about, seeing the Walkers about. She was tired yes, but the dangers here were increasing with each passing moment.” We cannot stay here for longer, the more we stay the more the walkers will gather up and not to mention Eden might show up. I do not think they will miss this opportunity as we have scattered up.” She said, throwing a look at Sam.” I... we take a chance by trusting you, but you do not appear to be of them... and you did help Ray so I think it's okey.” She smiled to Sam.

“We should head south east... it's our best bet.” She said quietly, trying to help Sam up, but frankly she didn't do too great job. Yeah... fatigue wasn't gone away. She just didn't notice it as much. Her body still refused to follow at times. What's more the next thing to happen was that cursed coincidence...” You've got to be kidding me.” She said as she stepped onto something that caused very attention causing loud sound.” Let's go...” Amelia added, hoping that they would be able to get far away and maybe get a place to rest where it was a lot safer than in the middle of a field.

Raymond looked towards Amelia and gave her a slight nod, they couldn't take the chance on saying here longer then they needed to. He moved on his own for now, he looked towards Amelia and Sam eyeing them very closely when he looked towards Amelia. He could tell that she was very fatigued since they had left Newnan, and she was also worried about nightfall coming in a few hours. The people from Eden were most likely on their way now, and probably scouring the streets for any stragglers that survived. When Raymond looked over at the newcomer Sam, he took a moment to eye her up and down he could see and tell that she was in a lot of pain from sliding down on the ice.

But she was doing a lot to just keep it hidden, and whenever she tried to help him move he refused. He was enough of a burden already on the two women, he really wished that he had a horse to ride or a new leg, even a car would be better. When Amelia stepped on something he jumped slightly when he heard a loud popping sound, which would most likely draw in the walkers around them towards the noise. "We will make it." Raymond said trying to reassure the two women as he tried to move as fast as he could.

Sam frowned at their comments. Tust? What's this have to do with trust? "Look guys, I come from Miami. I have no idea where I am. I mean, I know I'm north of Miami, but that's about it." She explained with a chuckle and another wince as she took in a deep breath.

Sam was going to ask about 'Eden', whatever that meant, but Amelia seemed to have stepped on something that made a loud ass noise. Growls could be heard as Sam looked at them and noticed that that was sadly loud enough to attract them to their position. That combined with the smell of her blood that most likely still lingered in the air made for a very dangerous mix. Bruised ribs or not, they had to move. Now. Amelia spoke about going East, Sam nodded. "Great, take the lead, Red."

As they ran, Sam tried to spot a house that could shelter them for a bit, but they all looked in bad shape, like the church that collapsed a few streets back. These houses didn't seem to have welcome any guests for quite some time, the wood was probably rotten and weak. Shit, shit, shit. Sam quickly glanced behind and her turned back to the trees ahead. She heard Ray express his optimism, "that's the spirit, there is no way those walkers are going to eat this prime meat."

"Lets head east and then cut south eventually." Amelia proposed, noting the walkers she could see.” If the horde is coming from the bigger road to the west, it's best to hit that direction to gain some distance and then cut south somewhere further up, using the houses as covers to break line of sight...” Was her proposition as they moved and then she noticed the walker so close to them. 6 meters give or take? Maybe less.

She didn't set off another noise bomb, but on the bright side of things, she found the most impressive display of luck! A bat! There was a god damned bat just leaned on the fence nearby! What the hell? Weren't these buildings looted and all since they are so close to Newnan? Maybe, but now her mind was on another thing. She grabbed the bad in motion as she moved, heading for the walker. She had to keep it from getting to the wounded Sam and the legless Ray. As such as soon as she was close enough she swung the bat!

Suddenly in Amelia's mind she was not in the walker infested city anymore! She was in the middle of a stadium, yes! Just like how she dreamed when she was younger, a child wanting to play baseball with the big players! The light of the projectors, the cheer of the crowds and there she was in the middle of the swing when the world froze for a moment. Then the bat connected with the ball and it flew!' HOME RUNNNNNNNNNNNN!' The imaginary spokesman narrator shouted over the speakers as the crowd exploded into cheer! Then it all vanished and Amelia realized that she had jut blasted the head off a walker and had taken a semi heroic stance! She looked at her new weapon and smiled. This was her bat! There were many like it, but this one was now hers!

“Okey let's go... we shouldn't leave potential back biter.” She smiled, happy with her new weapon.” We should get out of the direct vicinity of Newnan before it's dark... and I don't want to risk taking shelter in any of the near houses after that church nearly fell on our heads.”

Raymond looked towards Sam and gave her a slight smile and gave her a friendly nod, he didn't want to see anyone else get mauled to death by a bunch of walkers. And he planned on hopefully living through this all and see Tiffany again, as Ray started to follow shortly behind Sam and Amelia. He was still on the fence of either of them helping him move, even though it helped them move quicker it was also risking their lives as well. But he continued to move forward as best as he could when they headed into a yard.

Ray watched as a walker came out of the wood work, then looked around until Ray saw Amelia going for a bat that somehow was left behind. He wasn't expecting much in the way of weapons and gear nearby this close to Newnan either, Amelia managed to grab it and then swinging the bat at the walker's head. The walker's body quickly slumped down dead, he stared at Amelia for a moment. She was certainly a pro with a bat. "Nice hit Amelia, and lets keep moving forward until the sun goes down then find a place to hunker down and figure out where to go after that." He suggested, he wasn't sure how far they were going to continue moving forward, but he at least wanted to find a place to settle if it got to dark.

"Sounds good to me," Sam agreed, not that she could object. She could be standing in the middle of Canada for all she knows. The sun was still making the snow glimmer and shine, making it slippery but Sam somehow manages to follow Amelia without another slip and fall. If it were to happen again, Sam thought she was seriously going to get PTSD. She could never ride roller coasters again, how awful would that be?

Lost in her own thoughts, Sam had lost sight of Amelia for a moment until she found her grasping something into her hands near one of the houses. Sam noted that the houses still looked like major danger zones, she then looked around for a vehicle, thinking it might help their cause, but there was nothing but rust buckets parked around the houses where they were at. Better luck next time, Sam thought.

When she turned back to Amelia, she saw a walker approaching her and saw the baseball bat she was holding in both of her hands. Sam gripped her axe and was ready to jump in and then Amelia batted the walker's head clean off and it was a glorious sight to behold. She would have cheered if they weren't trying to stealth away from a horde of zombies. So, instead, Sam raised her hand and gestured devil horns and whispered loud enough for Amelia to hear: "you rock." Sam gave no objection as they started moving again, she wasn't sure how much more daylight they would have. This snowy hell was hard enough to traverse during the day time, she could only imagine how hard it would be at night.

“Thank you...” Amelia replied, blushing up a little and looked down at her feet, feeling a little shy. She was complimented! She was not used to being complimented and frankly that one strike on the walker seemed almost like it had expanded a good deal of her already running out strength. She looked at the sky, trying to run a quick math calculation, using an estimate of the flow of time since the morning and all the events that had transpired and she actually got a good result on how much time they were left before the daylight was gone.” Not much time is left till sundown. Less than 2 hours.” Amelia mumbled and looked around hurriedly to see something, anything that could help! Then she saw it... their salvation.

“Let's use this!” She said and pointed out an old rusting grill that had wheels!” We can have Ray ride on it and move faster, since time's running out and we should really get out of the vicinity.” Amelia said with rather unusual for her zeal and confidence! In her mind right this very moment it looked like the only logical course of action and dammit she as going to do everything she can to convince Ray and Sam!

Raymond looked towards Amelia when she started to make her way over towards a grill that had a set of wheels on it, suggesting that they could use it to help push him along the road. Ray looked at her and then the rusted up old thing, raising an eyebrow towards her. It was a pretty sound idea to him, and Amelia said that they had less than two hours of daylight left before the sun went down. "Sounds like a plan to me." Raymond said giving Amelia a slight smile as he started to make his way over to the grill and see if it could hold his weight and see if it would actually work or not.

"Good idea! Wait, let me..." Sam doesn't finish her sentence as she goes off and scurries around in the backyard, looking for planks of wood, but find none that are not rotted through or damp to the core and falling apart. Visibly deflated, Sam headed back to rejoin her companions when her foot gets caught on something. She looked down at the object and there it was, the perfect weapon for Ray's new hot rod: a perfectly good shovel! Although a little rusted it would definitely do. Sam couldn't think why wouldn't Ray feel extremely cool riding that BBQ, holding the shovel like a jousting knight. It was truly perfect.

"Do not forget your weapon, sir Ray," Sam spoke in a pretty good sort of Southern British accent as she handed Ray the rusted shovel. She places a closed fist on her chest, close to her heart. "May the Gods be with you." Sam bowed slightly and without any sort of heads-up to Ray, She jumped onto the BBQ with him. "Go forth and-!" And they come tumbling down, like the walls Beyonce built (they didn't even put up a fight, they didn't make a sound.) Sam fell over and for the second time today, her ass was on the cold snow covering the ground. Great job, you're 2/2 for embarrassing yourself in front of complete strangers today.

Sam slowly stood up, glad her ribs haven't been affected by the fall. She looked up at Ray who somehow managed to land on his good leg. She then turned towards the BBQ and she let out a relieved breath as she saw it was still perfectly fine. "Sorry I, eh-" Sam coughed awkwardly as she looked down at the ground, "got a little carried away."

When the grill finally gave in and Ray and Sam found themselves off it, Ray weirdly nimble on his one leg and Sam on her butt. She appeared not really happy about the fact she was again looking silly. Amelia felt as if a veil lifted from her mind when the grill project failed.” We... should get going. It might be able to be fixed to hold, but we've got not the time and I fear in it's current state it might hinder us instead...” Amelia said quietly patting Sam and Ray which was weird for someone so shy as her, but she was so overly tired both mentally and physically, so shyness was not priority right now.

“We should continue east and then cut south probably on the next street or a little after that.” She pointed out and started walking again. This time around she was not causing noise for the moment as the event with the grill had startled her a little which let her gain some invigorating energy for the time being. She walked fast, trying to focus on the soon future when they will have to hold down someone to rest once it starts to get dark. She just wished they got away from the horde behind them. “We need to get far... as far as possible before sun starts setting in less than 2 hours...”

Raymond awkwardly climbed himself up onto the grill, and managed to sit down comfortably on it which was nice to actually sit down for a little bit. He watched as Sam walked off to find something, but instead she manages to find a shovel and then smiled as he accepted the shovel. "Why thank you m'lady." Ray said jokingly as Sam suddenly just had the bright idea to hop up onto his own ride. The moment she did Raymond held tightly onto his stick and shovel that he had in both hands, just as the grill toppled over Raymond managed to gracefully land on his good leg, which was pretty surprising still managing to keep his balance.

Ray tried to hold back a few snickers as he watched Sam land flat out on her ass once more, he reached over to help Sam back up to her feet as best as he could. Though he wasn't paying much attention when his walking stick hit against the metal grill, causing him to jump slightly. Suddenly the whole grill chariot thing wasn't such a great idea to him anymore as he looked at Amelia and gave her a nod. "Lets just keep going.." Ray said as he started to try and keep up with Amelia as she headed down her direction.

Sam chuckled at the pat she received and held onto Ray's hand as he helped her get back on her feet. She nodded at Ray to thank him and pat his shoulder twice. "It could have been great, but I guess it wasn't the best idea ever." Sam paused and scrunched up her face, she turned back to Ray and asked: "Are we going insane? I think we are."

Sam shook her head and followed after Ray and Amelia, as the sun started to go a little farther down into the horizon. She didn't want to think how shitty it would be to navigate this hellscape of snow and trees and walkers at night. She looked at them, eyes peeled for something that could be of help. As they rounded up in another backyard, she spotted something that made her eyes go wide. There it was, their saving grace, in all its glory: a wheelbarrow. "Guys!" She whispered at her companions and pointed at the object in question. "This could work," Sam then looked at Ray, "if you're up for it."

“You probably really shouldn't try...” Amelia started saying when Sam found them another wheeled... tool for not really bright action scenes to happen. It reminded her of some funny vids on the internet way back now. Still her sentence was interrupted as she felt a suddenly wave of fatigue. Actually it may not have been as sudden as it felt, but she suddenly halted in a place for a moment, feeling it harder to keep moving now. She had to lean on a few things slightly, only to cause quite the noise when she broke something or stepped onto something that made noise. Not to mention her breathing was rather loud and her steps heavy.

Raymond gave Sam a friendly smile and nod, it certainly felt like a small skit on an episode of Jackass trying to get a ride on a grill. "We may or may not have seen some really weird shit earlier while we were escaping in our minds." Raymond said softly shuddering at the images he had seen earlier in the day. Ray continued to move forward until Sam caught his attention and saw that there was a wheelbarrow. He looked towards Amelia and saw that she was having a harder time moving, she was really looking exhausted.

Raymond moved over towards Amelia and laid a hand on her shoulder and looked at her with a concerned look. "Hey, you okay Amelia?" Ray asked, knowing that they didn't have much time before the sun would go down. "I don't think that would be a good idea." Ray said, they were all hurt, and exhausted and it wouldn't be right for him to be sitting in a wheelbarrow while the ladies pushed him around. "Do you need a minute or two to rest?"

Sam made a mental note to ask Ray about the 'really weird shit' he saw as they continued to move forward. They haven't covered a whole lot of ground, mostly because of their recent antics, and Sam was starting to think the only way they would not get eaten alive was if they found a vehicle or a house that wasn't completely rotted through. She glanced around as they walked, but the houses didn't seem to be better than the last ones and there didn't seem to be a functional car nearby.

Sam turned towards both of her companions as she walked, "is there a main road, or highway near? Looking for a car might make our lives easier." That was probably her best suggestion yet, then again, Sam thought their priority should be to find a shelter. They could look for a car after they've rested. This is a been a long, painful and stressful day.

“No...we do not have a minute or two to spare...” Amelia replied breathing, but trying to keep it now under control and as quiet as possible. She also was moving now on places where her steps didn't make noise now. She was keeping up, but damn if she didn't feel like dropping any moment now. Fatigue was real and building. Maybe bringing Ray up and down that rubble did put her beyond the breaking point after all. She wondered what muscle pain she'd have after this tomorrow.

“Not an option...” She replied to the other woman, still focusing on the path ahead to the next street.” The bigger street's behind us... swarmed by walkers...” Amelia mentioned.” Besides most things around here were looted of anything of use as far as I know. It's in close proximity to Newnan so...”

Raymond looked at Amelia declining for a few minutes to rest, he really didn't want to see her fall behind and she was really looking fatigued which was what was worrying him. "Alright." Raymond said softly as he started to move forward using his makeshift walking stick to support his weight and continued to move forward. He started to make his way a little bit ahead of the other two women. Ray looked over his shoulder towards Sam when she asked if there was a road and maybe a vehicle that they could use to get forward faster.

The vehicle was very doubtful since there were so few out this way and they were still fairly close to Newnan as well their former home. He really wished that they had some kind of transportation, the wheelbarrow would have been good, but it would require them to push someone. "Sadly we have pretty much looted what rides we could scavenge either from parts or they were just dead beyond use." Ray said remembering his brief times working on some of the cars there. "Hopefully there is some if we are lucky." He said softly, but it was doubtful that there was a working ride at the moment.

 • When you request rolls they must be done all at once. You cannot request rolls piece meal.
 • Make sure when you request rolls to be specific. I need character, actions attempting, direction they are moving, where they are trying to get in that roll. Street names and landmarks need to be used.
 • Notify who is up next in the DM on discord for your case once you post here and move your post to SI
 • From now one if someone in your case does not request a roll/respond to their turn within 24 hours of your notifying them it is their turn - notify me so I can make a roll for ~LLA has PMS~ (If you have something come up, notify your case partners immediately. Being in chat, online, will denote you had 2 seconds to say ~shit, busy, tomorrow~ or something to that extent.)
 • Also from now on, you are required in case to have a minimal of 2 rotations though all case people per 5 days of granted counters. So if there are 2 of you and it is a six to ten day counter, each character will need a min of 4 ~times at bat~ (which would be a min of 8 paragraphs total between the two of you) - Three of you, five day counter: 2 times at bat per character, 6 paragraph min total for everyone.
 • Consider all the above new rules for cases and that they will be added as soon as kinks are worked out across the board. Still working out kinks for cases, so be patient and work together.

Groups 1-3: Okay, keep moving. You know the goal - survive, get to bugout location, less than 2 hours of daylight left. Stay on point, keep moving. Remember those that were in Newnan this morning had a hell of a time. You can easily still see the smoke rising and it is still black: which means things are still burning. Keep this in mind when you are posting and your characters mental status. It has only been a couple of hours since you all fled, some less than that.

Eden: You know your goal. Roughly 5 minutes passed last round, t-minus 15 until Lola goes Mad Max. Radio silence currently. Eden map is updated, please use the numbers to help in your roll requests and posts to denote destination/location. (Should make things easier for us to keep up with)

Group 1:
Members: Niesha, Ash, Riley
Length: 10 days

Group 2:
Members: Tiffany, Jack
Length: 10 days

Group 3:
Members: Ray, Amelia, Sam
Length: 10 days

Eden:
Members: Thana, Thalia, Alex, Gavin, Beatrice, Lola
Length: Resting your counters currently, you are on day 1 of 7 at time of this post. (If you wish to get more done in your post than a single roll, get your roll, type it up, pm it to me, then request again. You can do this as many times as you can fit in your counter. Sigil/ONL - if you two want to stay close to each other, might want to collab it.)

Thana Martin

Location: Outside Eden, Golf Course, Treeline -> 17 -> 10
Skills: Survival

Thana came to the edge of the brush and trees, looking around slowly and paying attention to the tree line across the way some what. She could hear Alexander singing behind her. Half of her wanted to go put a bullet in his head to keep him from drawing more attention to them, half of her wanted to let him keep singing. Wasn't her problem if he got shot and took the attention away from her. Yet she did neither. The man was a war vet, he had to know how to handle himself. Nam wasn't exactly a walk in the park for the grunts. He survived, so he had to be doing something right. So for now, she would just keep moving forward.

Thing was, this next part was not exactly something she wanted attention being brought to. She was about to try cross a massive open spanse on the golf course. She could have hugged the tree line all the way around but they were on a time schedule and it would be getting dark soon. Shit needed to get done. Sure, attacking them at night could make getting close easier but as much as it would have put Eden at a disadvantage, it would have even more for them once they got into the main building. Eden knew its way around in there, they didn't. They would be going blind. What she would have given to have that fucking block of C4 right now but it was in Newnan... What was left of Newnan.

Taking a deep breath, Thana took another look left, and then right, and then left again. Just like if she had been crossing the street before she made a mad dash towards the midway treeline passed the sand traps. Keeping low and one of her pistols in hand. There was no turning back now, running out onto the course itself was crossing the point of no return. She made it to 17 and ducked beneath the low lying branches. A quick look and she looked back to where she had just come from, snapping out her knife she let it catch the sun light and flash back to where she had just come from. Hopefully they would know that meant all clear to where she was.

Not waiting, she turned and darted to the other side of the small wooded patch. Okay, now to the next part. There were several paths she could take from here but she opted to head for 10. Letting out a short breath she darted again, yet in her path was a walker. Instead of killing it and leaving a dead corpse to be found she ran close enough to it to get its attention and then darted towards 10 once again. The walker starter following her as she wanted. If she could she would get it into the tree line and then take it out. Either way it was better to have it following her than left as proof someone was there. Hopefully Alex and Thalia would take another route to get to the other side. She didn't need it distracted and going back.

Gavin And Lola

Location: Just outside Eden
Skills: Tank Operations (Lola), Land Navigation (Lola), People Reading (Gavin), Sniper Rifle(Gavin)

Lola heard what Alexander said through the radio and smirked. "Safe? Shit don't know the meaning of the word," she laughed a bit. Thing was, the only safe Lola knew were for more adult activities. As far as fighting, war, blowing shit up, safe didn't come into the game. For her it just make her second guess things and that wasn't what she was about. Lola did what she wanted, when she wanted, didn't think twice. Life happened, it was too short to get held up on what ifs. Any type. So she just smirked a bit as she started to get what little ammo she had for her tank together.

Gavin was around the same thinking as Lola right then. This wasn't about staying safe, this was about keeping people safe. If that mean his ass had to end up in a scrap with a bulldog for the last bone, then ol' Uga was jut going to have to deal with his teeth getting knocked in. Sound carried out of the top of the tank easy enough, metal made for acoustics. The fact that they were going radio silent didn't sit well with Gavin. He knew why they had to, they didn't have ear coms or throat speakers. Walkies weren't exactly quiet. Still didn't like it. He wanted to hear if shit was going down with Thana.

"Okay crash course in blowing shit up, Lola style," the Kiwi said as she rubbed her hands together. "You take this," she said as she picked up one of the five shells she had. "Shove it in here, pointy end first." Quickly she shoved it in and closed the hatch, explaining as she went. "Take aim here, adjust here. This is up, this is down, this is left, this is right. This is boom fuck um button," she said with a cool smirk before moving out of the way. "That's is, so be ready," Lola said before slipping out of the chair and back down to driver seat.

Gavin looked through his scope and scanned the area. "We got three at the bridge gate, two on top, one patrolling. No other movement detected yet," he said as he called down to the girls. They didn't seem to be taking notice of anything yet but they all were laying low and if shit didn't seem to be stirring at the gate Gavin could only assume that no one had yet taken notice of Thana and the other two. He hoped it would stay that way. The tank was to make the first move on the big billboard of "Hey fuckers, we're here" moment. Granted if the others were directed, he was sure that the tank could redirect attention elsewhere. A tank vs 3 on foot, it was an easy call.

Alexander Polawski

Location: Outside Eden, Golf Course, Treeline east of 8 --> Between eastern treeline and 8 --> 8
Skills:None

What must have looked like a war-comedy like that of M.A.S.H or something light-hearted, was in fact deadly serious business taking into consideration that there wouldn't be just camera- and audio-crews listening to Alexander continuess singing. For all he knew, there were walkers just waiting for a chance to bite off his ankles, or worse; those folks at Eden he had heard about. Probably wouldn't take kindly to strangers lurking around their B.O.O. Especially one singing like he was in a musical.

"The most refined ladybugs do it. When a gentleman calls, Moths in your rugs do it..." Alexander sang out in a not too-bad voice, but that was beside the point. He still thought he was out on patrol in Vietnam, his mind still playing tricks on him. Soon the squad leader, Sergeant Jackson ordered them to stop while he checked out a suspected Viet-Cong village up front. But with Alexander still singing, it didn't take long for the massive brute of a former Texas ranch boy to stare just as madly as Thalia had at him. "I swear to God, Chatter, I will rip out your vocal chords and show them up your ass if you don't shut up!"

That Alexander did. With a sudden shock, he found himself once again standing in the treeline outside of Eden, Georgia, not Da Nang in Vietnam, 1971. Cole Porter still clung tightly to his mind, but he no longer sang that cursed song. Back in action, Alexander kept up the pace and spacing he felt was best, and kept moving south. But as he did, he lost sight of Thana. Even if she was Navy, Alex trusted her to take care of herself, as well as Thalia. He had to, if they trusted him. He kept going south until he had the treeline at 8 at his right.

If Alexander was to get to the other side of the golf course, the other treeline just in front of him seemed like a good staging point as any other. Alexander hadn't noticed anything as he made his way down the original treeline, but as he began moving quickly out of his treeline and towards 8, he clearly didn't notice where his feet were going. After running a short distance, he snagged his foot in something hard enough for him to fall. Hard. On his face. He had no idea what it was, not that he had enough time to think before his face made impact with the ground as hard as a long-distance bomber.

It hurt. Oh yes, it hurt like a cheap Italian beer on a thursday afternoon, or a punch the same night. Alexander, still lying on the ground, tried to raise his head to see if he had exposed his position, but still dizzy he couldn't make left, right or center. "...I'm getting too old for this shit..."

And getting too old was perhaps a fitting description of him, as the old vet kept tripping over his own feet, again and again like he was over 60 or something! His face once again made contact with the golf course, which would have been ironic if he had enjoyed golfing. He did not. For all intents and purposes, he was stuck right there in the middle like a sitting duck. And since he clearly could not walk, the veteran pushed on the only way he could: he crawled.

Even the crawling was filled with trouble. He slipped in parts of the snow, then slipped some more on parts of ice, and the cold temperature was starting to crawl up his body. But with some divine intervention, good old luck and military perseverance, he finally made it to 8. Sure his pride was hurt, but it couldn't possibly get any worse after this? Alexander, now prone in-between trees and snow, tried to stand back up. He had to see if he had been spotted or not, or else his current position would be compromised within seconds! But with a crack, thud and hushed groan, he was back on his ass, sitting in the snowy underbrush of the treeline like a useless retiree who couldn't get up.

He wasn't sure if this was worst, or the consequences if Thalia heard about this later, only reinforcing his nickname.

Beatrice Decker

Location: in a TANK
Skills: None

Beatrice smiled crookedly at Lola's explanation that she didn't know the meaning of the word safe. It was a word that she was altogether too familiar with herself, as it could have been her life motto up until this very point in time. She had always played it safe. Her survival had been factored into each and every decision, ultimately forming a moral compass where as long as she was breathing at the end of the day, good and evil, chaos and order, none of it held any true sway on her.

She studied Lola's words and movements attentively, knowing that there likely wouldn't be time for a refresher course. Her years of studying in college must have paid off, because she found the pattern was rather simple to commit to memory. Shove the shell in, pointy end first, and then shut the hatch. The controls seemed to be fairly self explanatory. "Got it," Beatrice confirmed, before slipping into the recently vacated gunner's seat.

She took a moment to familiarize herself with the controls once more, before looking through the scope. It was odd - she had never been this close to a tank in her life. The only other time she had seen one in person was during a school trip to a museum in Justice when she was ten. And yet, she was something of a natural amateur tank gunner. It simply clicked in her mind, everything that she was supposed to do, and she couldn't help but smirk from sheer confidence. She was going to enjoy this.

"Lola - confirmation on what exactly you'd like me to target?" Beatrice asked. While she felt entirely comfortable with the controls, she wanted to ensure that she followed the plan to a T. There wasn't going to be room for sloppiness or mistakes with this. They had a limited amount of shells and she didn't want to waste any of them. It wouldn't be too long now until the fighting began.

Thalia Carmichael

Location: Near Eden, Golf Course (Treeline -> Copse of trees #7)
Skills: Stealth, Survival

Singing? Really? If that guy had a death wish, that was his issue. If the old man threatened to give away their position because he couldn't get a tune out of his head, Thalia would be more than willing to help him give up the ghost. Quietly. As was her forte. At least it was generally her forte; she couldn't quite avoid the crunch of her hiking boots in what remained of the snow along the golf course she was currently crossing. For work such as this, she wasn't a fan of snow, either. Snow left clear tracks and made noise. Hopefully, they could get this messy work over and done before it became an issue. Thalia had gotten what she really hoped was an "all clear" from Thana, and had decided to make her move.

The ground was open. Not good for someone like Thalia who preferred cover and shadow. Her machete would be of little good across a field, so she moved it to her left hand and pulled her new Beretta. Considering where she had picked it up, she had to assume that it belonged to the man who had told her about her uncle and cousin's deaths, James. Well, for a man to carry it as a primary firearm, it had to be reliable. Full mag, chambered round, and right about then she really wished that she had a silencer. But for now, the angry young lady in the ashen skull facepaint began to make her way to a copse of trees nearing the middle of the course. The route she took put as many spots of trees between herself and their intended destination. Clear lines of sight were a liability if one attempted a quiet attack.

Of course, the concept of Quiet was a relative thing, especially considering the crunch crunch crunch of snow and the hazardous conditions that its melting provided. The attempt to "ninja" across an open golf course was already difficult to the extreme, and she had to assume that the opposition was looking for them at every moment, every sound was ten times louder than it was. While Thalia wished that she had the forethought to get together some sort of camouflage, the thought of it was a little absurd with their timetable. Hopefully Sun Tzu was correct when he stated that a fast and clumsy attack was better than a slow but well thought one.

This sentiment was echoed as Thalia found herself slipping on a packed bit of ice and bellyflopping into the snow in front of her with a flat sound resembling the kicking of a half inflated basketball. Partly melted snow seeped into her jeans and into her shirt anywhere her leather jacket was not covering. Were she not prone, she would have facepalmed. With what little dignity she could muster, Thalia picked herself up and sprinted the remaining open distance to the central group of trees. With any luck, the Zeds scattered loosely around didn't take much notice. And if they did, she'd rather knife one out behind cover than out in the open.

Thana Martin

Location: Outside Eden, Golf Course, 10 -> 11 -> 14
Skills: Survival, Botany

Looking over her shoulder, Thana took in the area around her. She wasn't seeing the other two that were coming with her on this hope to be slaughter of the other side but she wasn't exactly an in the woods guerilla skilled in warfare on land. She was a sailor and spent most of her time in the service rebuilding farms, fishing areas, recruiting. Yet she did have that basic training all military folk had. A good part of that was just general physical conditioning and she made sure to put it to good use as she looked at the next tree line that was a decent mark away from her.

Ducking down low and keeping her pistol at the ready she made a break for it. Darting across the open field from 10 to 11. It didn't seem that anyone caught notice of her as she did. At least she hoped they didn't. Looking back from where she had come from she still didn't see Thalia or Alex but that didn't mean they weren't in a tree line near by. Another quick flash of reflective light as she did before and she turned her attention back to her next destination.

The sailor didn't get a chance when as she stepped her foot got caught in something. She tugged but couldn't get it out. Pushing the left over snow and slush aside that she had stepped in she groaned. It was a rope. Seemed someone had set up trip wires and traps in the tree clusters. Smart. What wasn't smart was not checking them during the snow. Yes she was caught but she could see where the tree that had been set to spring and keep her there had broken in the storm at some point. From the looks of the splintered trunk, it had been like that at least a week.

Holstering her pistol she pulled her knife back out and made a quick cut of the thick rope. It took longer than she would have liked with it being wet and all but it eventually was cut clean and she was able to get her ankle out of it. Taking a deep breath she sheathed her knife and redrew her gun. Knifes were good for somethings but a bullet was good for distance. Right now it didn't seem as anyone was near her, so distance trumped silence right then.

Another check and Thana was moving forward once again. Her eyes darting left and right as she finally got to the waters edge. Looking across she didn't see the tank right off but that didn't mean they didn't see her. Last she has seen Gavin he had had a sniper rifle on him, which meant he had a scope. If she knew Gavin half as well as she thought she did, she figured he was keeping an eye out on the situation. Once again the knife was out and flashing some light across the water. Hopefully he would see it and it wouldn't draw attention from anyone else. She wasn't going to flash twice, that was just asking for it.

Turning she kept an eye out for Alex and Thalia. She would wait for them once she reached 15, that was until the time she had said had passed. After that she was moving, with or without them. Yet she wasn't there yet. She had a little further to go but for then she held for a moment. She didn't want to move this close to Eden just after flashing a signal, if someone else had seen her they would sure be waiting for her to move at this point.

Gavin And Lola

Location: Just outside Eden
Skills: Tank Operations (Lola), Land Navigation (Lola), People Reading (Gavin), Sniper Rifle(Gavin)

"Keep that Eagle eye going Cowboy, let me know if they move or any shit starts and I'll fire my baby back up." Lola sat back in her seat, pulling out her pair of hello kitty scissors and ran them over her legs. She was bored right then. It happened when she was waiting. She had picked up many pairs of panty hose over the years. (And left some every Icky Leggs Eggs planted all over the south during that time. It was the worst Easter Egg hunt in history.) She had cut up many pairs of panty hose during the years as well. This pair was getting that treatment as she cut and pulled at it.

Looking through the scope Gavin kept an eye out on shit. It seemed like the ones at the bridge had not taken notice of anything going on. Hopefully it would stay that way for now. He knew that Thana could handle herself, she came from a long line of ass kickers. He had met her family back in the day when they were dating. Her father, grandfather, and uncle all coming out to Texas to meet him. Gavin wasn't one that was easily intimidated but the men in Thanas family scared the shit out of him. Not in a bad way really but in a, "this girl means everything to these men so you better not fuck her over," kind of way. Then again, he had in a way. Probably a good thing the world went to shit because they might have done some damage to him.

"Shit, um, the gate first, then the big building, and if you think you got another good shot that is worth the shell do it. Wish we had more because damn, I love when the gun goes off. Never too early," she laughed as she spoke to Beatrice. It was true, if they had the ammo she would just blow the shit out of them with as much fire-POWAH as she could but with only a limited supply they had to play it smart instead of playing it fun. That was the fucking suck part of it.

Seeing a flash of light Gavin grinned. "That's my girl," he said before checking his watch. T-Minus 10 minutes. Then looking back at the gate, someone was stepping down and heading in the direction of the flash of light. "Shit, we got movement. I'ms goin' thataway, stays until times to moves it or yous hear shit hit the fans." With that Gavin hopped down from the top of the tank and made his way into the brush. It was time for the Cowboy to go ahuntin'.

Amelia, Raymond, & Samira

Location: Church southeast of Newnan
Skills: Stealth(x1), Athletics(x1)

Sam nodded, at least her two companions seemed to know the area pretty well. She trusted them to find a safe place to stay, at least for the night. Hopefully get cleaned up somehow and rest from their tiring day. Sam could feel the fatigue hit her muscles sore from exertion and pain from the cuts and bruises she had all over her body from their slip n' slid misadventure.

She placed her hand on her ribs and she pushed past the pain as the group covered ground as they made their way around the snowy grounds, moving around trees and the odd rust bucket that would continue to rust until there was nothing left. At least walkers would easily get caught on the sharp metal that protruded from them.

"Better luck next time," Sam joked as her companions explained that everything around was looted. The name Newnan came up again, but Sam held off the questions for now. "As long as we find someplace to sleep and get cleaned up," Sam paused as she looked down at her clothes covered in blood and dirt, "I'll be happy."

Moving was hard... focusing was getting harder too, Amelia was realizing as they continued to walk east. She could see a walker by the street, they would have to go through the walker in order to cross. They had no choice. She held onto the bat, but was forced to also use it to lean on as an impromptu walking stick now and then. Amelia was making noise again and falling behind a little, but with some pushing herself up, she barely kept up.” Once we cross this street, we should start heading southeast through the backyards again...” She panted, trying to get her breathing under control again.” Once we get down to that big street and cross it.. we should find some shelter there that's in better condition...” She was unable to remember the name of the street. Frankly the map was getting into a blur in her head. She only vaguely recalled the street positioning. Luckily they were mostly straight lines and angles around this part... If they didn't find a place to rest soon, she might be fall from fatigue. But she just begged herself to hold onto nightfall. They still had to move until nightfall.

Raymond looked over his shoulder towards both Sam and Amelia it looked like that the two of them were getting really worn out, he leaned slightly against his walking stick it was a good place to at least get a drink of water for now. He awkwardly started to adjust his backpack and started to search around through it, hoping to find some water in there. When he found the canteen of water, Ray started to pull it out. Twisting the cap off Raymond took a quick sip of water feeling it sliding down his throat, letting out a slight sigh.

He waited for the two ladies to catch up. Ray first handed it over towards Amelia, looking at her she was looking really tired and worn out. "Here take a drink, you need to keep hydrated after tugging my ass around everywhere." Ray said jokingly as he waited for Amelia to take it, before handing it over towards Sam as well. "Here have some as well, lets keep moving."

“Tired... so tired...” Amelia mumbled as Ray handed her a bottle of water.” Thank you, Ray.” She told him, taking a few sips from it, before returning it to him, starting to walk again. It was hard to move. Her head was in a little bit of a daze as she moved, then she kicked some rusted metal something or other. She didn't even notice what it was. Maybe a bucket or something because it sounded half hollow. It made hella noise, but she shuffled forward. The walker was already in reach, she moved rather well considering.” Humph...” She took a breath as she swung, it was the only way to keep focused and muster the strength to strike. The strike came true and the head was knocked to the side... or not. Amelia realized she did not strike it dead. It's head was seemingly dislocated or something, but the jaw was still moving as it crashed on the ground.” I... let's just move.” In her head she was seriously considering to just separate from Sam and Ray and go on a noise making to lead walkers from those... she was drawing too much attention to them and both of them were hurt or had problems moving normally.

"Alright great, that's not too far." Sam grabbed the water from Ray and nodded at him before she took a giant gulp and drank eagerly, water spilling from the corner of her mouth. Sam let out a small burp and took a deep breath, "thanks for that." As if on cue, her stomach grumbled loudly. She remembered the protein bars she had inside her backpack and as they took a rest she pulled two out and handed them to both Ray and Amelia. "This'll fill you right up," Sam commented happily.

Sam opened up hers and the experience was almost spiritual as she body rejoiced in digesting the food after days of not being fed properly. She heard a noise as Amelia started moving again and when Sam looked in her direction she saw the woman was once again engaged in a tussle with one of the brain dead walkers. Sam started forward and ran to help her, but she stumbled onto something on the ground on her way there, a piece of metal - she didn't fall, but her protein bar tumbled down into a pool of dark, coagulated blood. "Just my luck," Sam sighed but chuckled as she turned to Amelia. The walker was still moving, but it was looking pretty rough. "You okay?" Sam asked as she followed the redhead's lead.

Raymond looked towards both Amelia and Sam when the both took drinks from his water bottle and nodded towards the two of them and gave them a friendly smile. "Don't mention it." Ray said softly as he went to put the waterbottle back into his pack and zipped it up. He continued to move forward, until he watched Amelia she was really looking out of it now and was starting to worry about her mentally and physically. Ray turned towards Sam when she pulled out a few protein bars, he accepted it and gave her a friendly nod.

"Thank you." Ray said just as Amelia swung her bat towards the walker, seeing it fall to the ground, Ray kneeled down taking out his knife. Ray quickly stabbed it in the head, whipping off the walker blood off of his pant leg, then Sam clumsily dropped her opened bar onto he ground right on the pool of blood of the walker. He turned and handed his over towards Sam, he would eat later. "Here, take it back. Got some stuff in here." Ray said patting to the pack.

There was a distinct hardness in moving still, but Amelia felt like she was getting into a steady rhythm. As Ray finished the walker, she continued to walk towards the street. There was a lot of snow where they exited in between the houses. Getting around them would lose valuable time, so she just continued forward through the snow. Slow and steady and surprisingly quiet given she was stepping into snow, she moved forward, steady as she can. Looking left and right she could see some walkers, but it was doubtful they will reach the group.

Sam continued to follow Amelia, and as she looked around, surveying the area, she noted that the houses still looked extremely unsafe to take shelter in, white picket fiences that were once upright had fallen and were rotting on the ground. Her father had thought her how to make shelter out of pretty much anything, but with the group of walkers roaming around close to them it wouldn't serve them any purpose.

She dreamed of laying in a cozy bed with warm blankets cocooned around her after a long, hot shower. Perhaps that was a little too far out of reach, but it kept her going as she walked through the treacherous snowy terrain before them. At least she wasn't alone, and these people seemed really nice. She wished she would have met them in a less stressful situation. Though they would surely have time to talk later, as Sam had a few burning questions to ask them. Especially about this 'Eden' and 'Newnan' they had previously mentioned. She hoped it was a place where they could get food or a shower, but mostly food.

Raymond remained fairly quiet as they turned up onto the road, he cautiously moved over the snow lightly moving the stick back and forth before him just in case there was any ice that formed underneath the snow. The last time he fell it cost him his leg, as Ray moved he looked over towards Amelia for a moment. He couldn't really get a good reading on her from where he was walking. Ray also remained on full alert in case there were any walkers that were nearby but it seemed that they weren't taking any interest in them just yet.

It was so hard. Amelia breathed heavily as she took a step and then two, but it was about there that the strength she had was about finished. Most likely it was the snow trek that did the final nail in the coffin of her remaining strength. She stopped moving, using the baseball to lean on.” Hell...to...it...” Amelia mumbled feeling like just falling over. She couldn't bring herself to take another step. When was the last time she felt that way, she wondered. She needed to rest so bad.

Sam caught a glimpse of Amelia slowing down and finally stopping altogether in front of her, to lean again her baseball bat and rest. Sam stopped beside her and rested a hand on her companion's shoulder, "You okay?" There was no hiding it, the party was beat to shit, tired, and probably smelled like garbage. Sam wanted to sit down and take a breather as well, but the quicker they cross this junkyard of a neighborhood, the quicker they can find a building that won't fall onto them to rest for the evening.

Sam quickly glanced at the slowly setting sun and back to her companion, "Come on, just a little further. Next walker that we come across, leave it to me yeah? You did enough skull bashing for today." Sam lightly tugged on the woman's arm and nodded her head ahead of them. "Keep dreaming of a nice, comfy bed. It helps." Sam winked at the redhead as she continued her trek forward.

Raymond watched Amelia and moved over towards her taking a few deep breathes as he trudged through the snow to catch up to them grunting loudly having a bit of a hard time to get through. He looked at her with a concerned look as Ray started to go into his pack. He was having a harder time this time to try and get the water bottle back out again, and nearly dropped it, but caught himself. "Here just hold onto it for now Amelia." Raymond said, she was really not looking good at all she was looking utterly exhausted.

"Don't worry we will find a place to settle in for the night, you deserve as much rest as you can get." Ray said softly to try and reassure Amelia. He looked towards Sam, when she suggested that she'd take out the next walker that would come up to them, and gave her a slight nod. "Just a little bit further we can rest then."

”I...” Amelia mumbled as Sam came over to provide some moral support it seemed. Amelia was tired, but the words rang through her mind still. They had to move.”Thank you...” She took a few deep breaths, trying to muster any little bits of remaining strength she can. It wouldn't be much more maybe a block or two before they had to start thinking about settling for the night real good. Time was running short.

”Ray?” She asked quietly as he gave her a bottle of water. She smiled and took it, opening it and taking a sip from it.”Yeah... just a little more. I can do that... Been through worse... I think...” She mumbled to herself, resuming to move again with a bat in one hand and a bottle of water in the other. She managed to pull through the bottleneck of fatigue, it was all a matter of how much she can run of fumes from now on. Resuming her walk, she walked steadily enough, without making any sounds.

Beatrice Decker

Location: in a TANK
Skills: Tank Gunner Amateur

"Copy that," Beatrice said, mentally memorizing the list of suggested targets. She took a look through the scope and aimed until she had a straight shot at the gate, but didn't fire. She merely wanted to be prepared to go the instant that it was time. A second too soon or too late and she didn't want to know what could potentially happen. Besides, it also gave her something to do. While Lola was running a pair of scissors up and down her legs (no judgment), Beatrice was getting the tank aimed and ready.

Beatrice nodded. "Try not to die too soon, cowboy," she said, her own way of saying good luck. But she doubted that Gavin would need it. While she didn't agree with him on more emotional and spiritual aspects of the job, she didn't doubt his capability to kill. She cracked her knuckles and rolled her wrists, knowing that with each second, they got a little bit closer to all out carnage. Her mood dampened for a moment. Ryan would have loved this. And James - she wasn't too sure anymore. Yesterday, she would have been certain he would be against this. But overnight, something had come over him. He had changed.

He had gotten blood on his hands. And he had been willing to bloody them a little bit more. She couldn't help but wonder if James really had changed - or if he had always been that way.

Tiffany Lyle and Jack Hudson

Location: Walking Towards Arnco Mills
Skills: Survival, Athletics, Knife

Jack paused where he was, noticing how Tiffany was lagging behind. His experience told him that she could go maybe another ten minutes if she didn't have a break. He frowned slightly, glancing around at their surroundings to keep an eye out for walkers. They didn't seem to be in too terrible a predicament at the moment. Most of the walkers were headed towards Newnan still with all of the noise. As long as they stayed quiet, they should be fine for a few minutes. A five minute break seemed to be just the thing that Tiffany needed as well - physically. As far as he could tell, she seemed to be doing fine emotionally.

"We can take a breathah for a few minutes," Jack offered quietly, careful not to raise his voice too much just in case. "You should drink some watah, if you got any on yah," he then added. Stamina was going to be critical if they were going to make it to the bug out point.

Tiffany was indeed doing fine mentally. Despite their situation, her thoughts were not heading to dark territory. In fact, she could have rolled out a picnic blanket right then and there. She didn't think anything was around them and they were safe for now. However, as she sat down on a nearby log, she did so quietly. Lord knows a branch breaking just the right way would attract a whole fricken' horde.

"I don't have any water. I lost it all in the fire and the chaos." She was a bit thirsty, but a quick break would hopefully put her on the right track and they could get moving soon.

"Yeah, well...Lot was goin' on. Don't blame yah for losin' it," Jack said, though he knew that they'd be in desperate need for supplies. Yet neither of them had been in the best mental shape when leaving Newnan - he had started screaming Pudding and spinning Tiffany around like a rag doll, after all, from what he could recall. His own bug out bag had been lost somewhere in all of the chaos, but thankfully, they knew their destination. Once there, if they were lucky, they could resupply once more - and try not to lose their minds this time. Fortunately the coast seemed to be clear for now.

"Feeling any bettah?"

If it was a snake, it would have bit yah! It was one of his mother's favorite things to say when he was a child, inevitably tearing apart the house over a shoe or a coat that he couldn't find. It would always end up having been right in front of him. Now, Jack thought he had grown out of the habit, but apparently the 5 year old boy in him came forth with a vengeance. As he kept an eye out on their immediate surroundings, there was a walker not less than ten feet away. But his eyes simply skipped right past it.

Seven feet away - nope, still didn't see it. His mother was likely rolling over in her grave right now - if someone ever gave her a grave, that is. It was far more likely that she was shambling around in the general vicinity of the Chicago airport still. The walker was five feet away and Jack had a funny feeling that there might have been something he overlooked. Another glance, with the walker less than five feet away - it was closing in on three feet - and he finally saw it.

This is why he'd never make it as a Southie. "Tiff! Look alive!" Jack called out by instinct, not even realizing the almost unfortunate turn of phrase.

Tiffany was a bit distracted, given all that happened. She hadn't noticed the walker coming and could kick herself for not being more aware. Thankfully, she had a minute to rest. At Jack's shout, she looked up to see it coming near. She took out her knife and stood up, quickly heading over to Jack and stabbing it through the ear, killing it instantly. She pulled the knife back out and pushed the walker back as it fell with a flop.

"I feel fine, but we should keep moving. I can rest better once we are in a safer place."

Jack hesitated for a bit before nodding. They didn't have much daylight left by his estimation and they couldn't afford to stay out in the open overnight. He kept on moving, having the goal of making it to Duncan Street. As he walked, he kept an eye on the general surroundings, hoping that no more walkers would be coming their way. Instead, while he made it to the road, he couldn't help but notice that TIffany was lagging behind - again. He let out a bit of a sigh. They couldn't keep this up all day - this walking for a few minutes, pausing, stabbing a walker, and then repeating the cycle.

"Tiff...We gotta keep on movin'," Jack said, trying his best to be encouraging. "Is it physical or mental that's keepin' you laggin' a bit behind?" he then asked.

Tiffany hated being a burden, but what would one expect? With all the crap they dealt with, of course she would be tired. "Little bit of column A, little bit of column B. I can also deal without the sighing. We're both tired. Keep moving. We'll get there soon."

Unbeknownst to Tiffany, a Walker had its eyes set on her. It followed slowly as the snow made it harder for it to catch up, luckily for her. Once they hit the road, the Walker sprang out of the forest. However, a snow pileup in the branches nearby made it weak and it broke off with a loud crack. The Walker, directly underneath it, wasn't too thrilled as it lodged itself through its head. It cried out. Tiffany looked back at this. 'Holy shit, that could have been me..."

She was dead tired, but she urged herself to keep going.

Jack's eyes widened as he saw the impalement of the walker. That really could have been Tiffany, had she been a second slower. And while he never was the best at math, he figured that they couldn't reach Arnco Mills at this rate, even if everything went perfectly, before nightfall. They'd need to find a car to even have a chance at this point. There was about an hour of daylight left. His eyes then flickered over towards the walkers in front of them. For the moment, they seemed to be relatively harmless.

"Okay. Let's put these sons of bitches down and see if we can find a cah. If not, we camp in one of these buildings for the night. Sound good?" Jack asked.

Tiffany nodded her approval. The quicker they dealt with the minor threat, the quicker they could find transportation or a safe place to rest. There were plenty of cars around, so hopefully one worked. Tiffany drew her knife again and made her way to the closest Walker. She swung her knife, but miscalculated her charge and dug into its shoulders, falling forward. She tried to get her hand free, but it was caught in the Walker's collarbone.

"I'm stuck! Damn thing..."

Jack pulled his knife, moving forward in an attempt to skewer the walker that was on top of Tiffany without harming her. Instead, he missed in his swing, nearly nicking Tiffany. The momentum caused him to fall forward, forming a Newnan-Walker-Newnan sandwich as his full weight went down, causing the walker's neck to snap. He accidentally crushed its skull into the pavement beside Tiffany's head by some lucky accident. The last woman he had been on top of had been his wife - so needless to say, the entire situation was awkward.

"Uh, sorry 'bout that..." Jack apologized.

Ashton, Riley, Niesha

Location: The Hordebuster
Skills: Engineer (Ash), Mechanic (Ash)

Riley watched Ashton splatter onto yet another walker, it's been what twelve or more now since they all managed to get out of Newnan, and ran over a walker and still fighting over control to stay in a straight line. Riley leaned forward as she looked down at the map that Niesha had managed to pool out. She hadn't the slightest clue on how to read a map, she looked over towards any roads signs before looking at Niesha. "So do you know how to read a map?" Riley asked looking at her for a moment wondering if she actually did or not.

Ash fought the urge to facepalm. Not because he didn't want to directly insult the only two people he knew for a fact survived Newnan (though he did not), but because his driving, as they said back in Officers' Training, "Blew The Big Sausage" and he wanted to keep both hands on the wheel. Luckily, he knew a route to the bugout point. He ought to, being as he was one of the people who helped to set it up. He had hoped that maybe one of these two women knew enough to guide him to a secondary route if it was necessary. This day and age, it might very well be necessary what with the painful death of everyone associated with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Luck was with him, or at least didn't smack him with a cinderblock this time. Ash steadied himself, pressed onward, and piloted the Hordebuster up the length of Jefferson. He breathed an actual sigh of relief as he traversed the thoroughfare, and damn near thanked God for his mercy as he turned northwest onto Sprayberry Rd. Stoic as ever, he mumbled, "Anybody know where that bottle went to?"

Settling herself as Ash seemed to be driving fine now, Niesha let out a soft sigh of relief, setting the map between them. She pulled her knees up to her chest once more, wrapping her arms around them, and leaning her head on her knees.

She gave a small shrug, "I think I put it back in the bag" She said softly, shifting to check, "Or did I give it to you Riley?"

Riley leans forward slightly as she watched Ash driving, it seemed to be going straight now which was good, she didn't have to worry about dying in some kind of crash for now. Riley ran a hand through her hair slightly as she looked towards him for a moment, when he asked where the bottle was. Riley looked at Niesha as well and gave a slight nod and turned around as she leaned forward where she had set the bottle. "It's down here." Riley said as she reached for it and then handed it over towards Niesha.

"So should one of us start navigating?" Riley asked looking at Niesha who had the map, she didn't mind doing it if she was asked to read the map. "And once we get to the location whats the plan when we get there?" Riley asked, she didn't really have a clue what the bugout plan was once they got to their intended destination before moving again.

The Hordebuster rolled smoothly down Sprayberry Rd, in drastic contrast to the recent misadventures they had all experienced with dumptruck off-roading. Ash even managed to get in a little extra practice with fine control, shifting from lane to lane to lane to avoid obliterating the random dead person wandering in the direction of Newnan. He had remained quiet for the majority of the time they were on Jefferson and Sprayberry, but did speak up as they neared an obstacle in their path. It was an accumulated snow pack that the sun didn't seem to have touched very much.

"I have a good idea where to go right now. I need alternate routes, just in case. We're on Sprayberry Rd, coming up on some train tracks a little ways out of Newnan proper." His words were solid, basic, and without emotion. While he spoke, his eyes were transfixed on the scene outside. There were a couple of the Dead milling about, and that high drift of snow he couldn't quite see around. He hoped he wouldn't have to leave the vehicle, hoped even more no one else did, either. But he wasn't one hundred percent sure that plowing through this was the best idea, given the circumstances. Though backtracking now would waste precious time. The sun would be down in the next couple of hours. "The plan is to arrive, secure any supplies we can, and wait for other survivors. But first, we've got to deal with that."

Retrieving the map, Niesha settled back down where she was, watching as they continued on. As once more there seemed to be an obstacle to their path,
and not Ash's driving, Niesha frowned and sighed, opening the map. "If we can clear the walkers,we can have a quick look, see if we can get through, but there could be walkers in the snow... "
the thought of getting out wasn't pleasant, but she knew they'd have to if there was no other option.

"I got arrows, we can stab the snow."

Riley listened to the plan, wait once they got to their destination and wait for any survivors and grab whatever supplies that were there, which sounded like a good plan to her. She then looked at the large snow drift that was before them, she thought for a moment as she looked at the walkers that were outside, before turning her attention back towards the map that was on Niesha's lap for a moment. Getting out wasn't the best idea, in her opinion and also to put into account the snow drift itself could have walkers inside if they tempted to try and clear a way through there.

"We could try turning back on Jefferson Street and head north east on that road until we can find an alternate route towards the tracks? I'm not that keen on getting out, anymore then we have to, or just plow through the snow itself? It's your call bossman." Riley suggested, looking towards Ashton, he was on the wheel after all and knew the area better then she did.

"I don't like it." said Ash, pressing on the brake. The Hordebuster slowed to a ponderous stop, its engine still humming despite the lack of forward momentum. They had precious little dayight left to properly navigate these roads, and he hoped to get them to their bugout point before nightfall. "This much buildup left during a thaw. Don't like it. But we need to get around this." He pulled his .45 and large knuckle duster knife from his belt, carefully considering his options. He peered ahead and around, taking note of where the Dead were located. "We have my sidearm, bow, and a good knife, plus whatever is in the bugout bag and whatever you two have. I'm going to go out and take a look. I'll need someone to cover me, and someone to keep the truck ready to roll. Are we good?"

Niesha nodded, shifting to retrieve her bow, and the arrows she had. "I can cover you, if that's okay... " She said, glancing to Riley, before she looked out the hoardbuster once more. "Do you think its a trap?" she asked, glancing to Ash. She didn't have any idea what was a right or wrong snow drift, but if Ash was worried, she was willing to be a little paranoid.

Riley watched Ashton moving the Buster a little bit forward, until it came to a complete stop she was getting a weird feeling about it as well. She ran a hand through her hair letting out a slight sigh as Ashton said he was getting out, looking down towards her pack. She had her sidearm, along with Chloe's after she shot herself as well as her crossbow, looking towards Niesha, and shrugged slightly. "I can keep the ride warm for you guys, and if you need me just yell." Riley said as she reached over for her pack and handed Niesha a Baretta just in case she needed it. "Just in case you do need it." Riley said to her, and looked towards Ashton, and gave him a nod.

"Might just be a fallen tree," Ash began, shifting his knife into an underhanded grip and raising his .45 pistol. Fingers curled around the door handle, cracking it open slightly. "or a car. Snow's funny about gathering in drifts. But yeah, could be a trap. Only I don't think someone's going to be manning a roadblock with the weather lately." His voice seemed distracted, distant somehow. It could be that he was still scanning his surroundings. There were a few of the Dead around the area, nothing that couldn't be dealt with though, so long as it stayed just a few.

It was probably nothing. Ash could very likely have been just fine pushing the Hordebuster through whatever this thing was, and they could be on their way. But that was a last resort option. He had to get himself and what few of his people he could help to the bugout point. That was his mission at present. This thing was just an obstacle in his path. "Don't use bullets unless you have to." he advised Niesha. Let's give this a look on the quiet and get back on our way." Ash slipped out of the Hordebuster and onto the ground below, his boots making quiet crunching sounds in the snow beneath them. He began to make a wide arc around the obstacle, but before he got very far a foot slid to one side and he went down to a knee. The sound of scraping gravel and ice drew the notice of two nearby Dead, who began to approach with a shuffling, snarling gait. "...damnit." growled Ash quietly, carefully rising to his feet.

Alexander Polawski

Location: Outside Eden, Golf Course: 8 treeline
Skills:Navigation

Radio silence had been enforced just prior to the small squad splitting up, and Alexander was certain that also applied to talking then and there. But oh man how much Alexander wanted to swear and curse at the world right then. He felt like an idiot sitting there flat on his ass, stuck in the snow-covered underbrush like a racoon trapped in a snare. And he was getting real sick and tired of it. "Fine, if you want it the hard way..." Alexander whispered under his breath, holstering the Colt he'd taken earlier and taking his fireaxe. He was not going to give up.

Alexander hooked the end of his fireaxe on some vegetation nearby and pull his butt out of the underbrush. Finally standing upright again, he tried to pull his feet out as well. No luck, they were still stuck. This was when he got real tired of the bullshit, and started hacking and cutting himself free from the underbrush trap. And alas, he was free! But that raised the question actually; was that simply an unlucky placed piece of vegetation, or somehow a trap put there by Eden? Not that he had time to elaborate on it, since time was ticking by.

Back on his feet, it was possible to get a better look around him. As he looked out through the treeline and out on the winter-wonderland golf course, Alexander tried to make a mental path; he was not going to fall flat on his face/arse again. Not that it was easy, far from it. It was difficult to discern which patches of melting snow was safe to run across and which would certainly hinder him. Difficult, but not impossible, as Alexander slowly but surely found...a...way...

The village was engulfed in flames. The jungle was engulfed in flames. The people, the women and children were all engulfed in flames. The young soldier, with his green helmet, rolled up sleeves and radio strapped on his back stood in complete shock with what could only be described as the seventh Circle of Hell unravelling before his eyes. Sergeant Jackson emptied his M16 into a young woman running towards him, not giving a damn if she was a danger to his men or not. Bunker and Holey both lay dying by his own side, blood pooling around their bodies as they cry out for their mothers. And the soldier?

Alexander stood in a state of shock, cluthing the radio in his left hand and an half-empty M1911 in his right. He wanted to scream. He had to scream. But no sound could compare to that deafening storm of Hell. And Alexander was in the eye of the storm, not able to do a damn thing.

Niesha Burkstein

Location: the Hoardbuster
Skills:Archery (Quick fire accuracy)

Niesha was silent as Ash spoke, looking out the car towards the drift that had formed. She kept her gaze on it, her thoughts seeking the most logical option even though she knew these days, logic wasn’t what it had been. ”Desperate people will do anything, even if it seems crazy.” she said softly, looking towards Ash as he got out the car, she managed a smile, ”But then, we know about crazy don’t we?” She waited a moment as Ash got out, wincing as he went down. Niesha got out of the car as quietly as she could, but the ground proved too much for her, and she slipped slightly, but didn’t fall. Waving her arms like an idiot for a few seconds, she managed to keep her balance. Retrieving her bow and some arrows, she carefully began to make her way over to Ash, glancing all about them as she did so. She soon spotted the walkers, one closer to them, and one just a little bit further.

Drawing a slow breath, she quickly notched an arrow. Ash hadn’t said anything against using her arrows, just not bullets. That was the beauty of being about to shoot an arrow. It was relatively quite. She would also prefer arrows over bullets- and with the way things were, arrows would be easier to make. At least, most of the time, you could retrieve an arrow. Bullets were generally one use. Trusting Riley to keep an eye out for them as she took quick aim, a slight flair to her usually mundane actions, she let the arrow fly. Her aim true, she watched the arrow fly straight into the walkers head and couldn’t help a smile as the body dropped to the ground, whatever was powering it in the brain destroyed by her arrow.

It was so satisfying, watching that and knowing she hadn’t lost her touch. Shifting, she glanced towards the other walker as she closed the distance to Ash, ”Do you want the other one, or should I take it?” she asked pleasantly, watching the walker approaching with its shuffling gait. She could understand how the outbreak had happened so hard and fast- if they were fresh corpses, hours old, many people might simply think they were drunk. It wouldn’t be until they attacked… the noises they made, the motions… they were very unalive like. Bites would have happened quickly then, until they understood. It seems so obvious in hindsight… She gave a soft sigh, looking back to Ash, and then around them once more, to make sure there weren’t any other walkers creeping up. Or any living people thinking they were easy targets.

Thalia Carmichael

Location: Near Eden, Golf Course (7 -> Treeline Between 6 & 11)
Skills: Stealth, Survival

The spray of trees dominating the center of the golf course was a decent enough place to set up temporarily, but it was not the goal. Hanging out here for too long would result in her missing the kickoff of this soiree, one full of stabbing and gunfire punctuated by the occasional use of explosive ordinance. Damn, but she did appreciate Lola. Even if she did nothing else, just her being her was enough to give Thalia a chance to do what she did best these days; sneaking and stabbing. If she kept that up for long enough and didn't die today, chances were fair that she would make the right people answer for the deaths of her family and her battle-sisters from Fairburn, not to mention acquire enough supplies to keep her and whoever wanted to join her going for a good, long while. Just not if she stayed there. Thalia had to get low and move out on the immediate.

Crossing open ground in the daylight was not her cup of chai. Everything about it screamed danger at her. By now though, the TANK should be coming near position, drawing most of the eyes that way. Plus, checking the grounds in front of her, Thalia noticed that she was actually near the bottom of a gently arcing, shallow hill. Even if eyes were near her, that approach would make it more difficult to pick out her movement. It was as good an option as any.

Thalia took a breath, let it out slow, and began a smooth jog across the golf course. She kept as low as she was able to, given her desire to cross distance quickly and keep a sharp eye on her surroundings. Luck seemed to be with her in that moment, as she was able to make it to the other side and meld into the treeline without incident. Now to make eye contact with the others and regroup before the candles were lit on this particular cake.

As best as Thalia could tell, Thana had given her signal roughly to the right of the direction she was headed, in the trees just around the corner of a nearby building. They were supposed to meet up soon before the real festivities began; Thalia assumed that it must be at the point where Thana had signaled. With all of the skill imparted to her as a child of La Familia Gonzalez, she zipped unnoticed through the trees around the building, and into the space that Thana used as a signaling location. Unfortunately, it was completely unoccupied. The generally angry young woman allowed herself a quiet sigh, and reviewed her options. To the west was water. North was that building with a small amount of open ground around it, and east was the golf course. Remembering the game plan, the wall they had to get around jutted into the water slightly, and it was close to trees.

Okay. South it was.

Samira

Location: Johnson Street, Newnan
Skills: Anerobic and Areobic Capacity

Sam continued the treacherous treck in the slowly melting patches of snow around the houses and she noticed one of the had been made out of red brick. She crossed the front yard of this house, axe in hand as she had promised Amelia that she would take care of the next walker they would encounter. Quickly, they had reached another street, and Sam's hope and optimism came back as they covered quite a lot of ground without interruptions or other jackass episodes - much to her slight disappointment.

Even though Sam hadn't' known these two individuals for long, she got the sense that they were good people. Not to mention that going through something like this did create bonds between people very quickly and very strongly. Sam turned to her companions, she could feel the exhaustion hitting her as her whole body screamed at her when he slowed down her walk, she could feel the dried sweet on the top of her lip and the sweat that ran down her back dried and caused unpleasant shivers. "Not to be that 'are we there yet kid?', but, are we there yet?" Sam asked with a slight chuckle and a wince as a jolt of pain shot through her ribs all the way down her leg.

Tiffany Lyle

Location: Walking Towards Arnco Mills

Tiffany was in a weird situation. Well..weirder. All of this was weird. She was on the ground, having been moments away from being bitten and having that be the end of it. On top of her, the Walker that nearly did the deed. And on top of that, Jack, having fallen over trying to help her and killing it in the weirdest way possible.

She could look past him nearly stabbing her. It was pretty damn heroic to come to her rescue. "Think nothing of it. But do you think you can get off of me now? This thing is starting to smell bad." She didn't want to push both of them off, but she also wanted to get up off the ground. They still had a ways to go, if she had to guess, and they needed to buckle down for the night or find faster transportation.

Eden

Location: Eden: 14 -> 18, Tank, Near Bridge Road
Skills: Survival, Free Climbing, Close Combat Fighting, Tank Operations, Rifle, Sniper Rifle, People Reading

Thana glanced around, things seemed to be going well but she wasn't sure how long that was going to hold up. This was becoming way to easy to infiltrate this place. She had already made it to the wall and there wasn't a single sentry posted on it at the waters edge. That didn't seem right, not from what she had heard about this place. Granted she had heard more about the people than the place itself. Maybe they weren't very concerned with people trying to actually get in. They seemed to have a big enough reputation in the area that even Newnan hadn't tried to take them down yet.

Whatever the reason they didn't have sentry's on wall near the waters edge they did have them on the bridge. And those had taken notice something going. "Shittin' biscuits..." Gavin said under his breath as he took notice under his breath and pushed his curls out of his face. Cowboy rushed forward and dropped to the ground, taking aim and keeping an eye out on the person. They were sticking to the waters edge. He needed a clear shot and one where those still on the bridge wall wouldn't notice if he dropped. He just prayed he could get if off before they got to Thana.

Lola looked down at her watch and smirked. "Oh fucking Aces! It's time!" she cackled, giddy as a school girl. Throwing the tank into gear she swiveled it to one side and pulled it out from behind the line of trees where it had been sitting. The tank rolled onto the street and started down it. "Take aim ton the gate girl! Wait for it!" she called out.

Buzz was happening now. Whatever surprise they were going for had gotten attention. It was kind of hard to miss a tank on the road coming right at them. "Father! We have a tank!" one sent in on the radio as the others took aim at it. (Like that was going to help them, it was a fucking tank...)

Thana scrambled up the wall and onto the top of it before dropping to the other side. She was right at the waters edge and flashed a signal across the water. Then it happened, she didn't hear them but she felt them. The barrel of a gun was pressed to the side of her head. "Well.. well.. holy shit.. Zoie?!!" the man said and Thana took a breath. "Yeah, whos the hells else I bes?" she said, trying to put in the same drawl her sister had once prided herself in.

"Aww hell..." Gavin said as he spotted Thana on the edge of the water with a gun to her head. She hadn't been killed yet. They seemed to be talking as Thana raised her arms slowly. There was a slight motion of her fingers towards the man and a nod of her head. He hoped she was telling him what he thought she was. Taking a deep breath, he released it slowly and squeezed the trigger. The shot fired off and the bullet went tearing through the air.

"Stop right there!" one of the men called out on the wall. Yeah, like that was fucking happening. Lola just laughed, she couldn't hear them inside her tank. It was loud. Even if she could, like she would have. Okay, she might have, to screw with them, but as crazy as the Kiwi was, she was a soldier. They had a plan, she was going to follow it. Anyways that plan mean blowing shit up.

"Get ready to cream yourself! Fire!" she yelled out towards Beatrice.

Thana blinked as her face was splattered with blood and brains. The mans head exploding right next to her and his body dropping like a ton of bricks. Wiping some of it away with the back of her sleeve she gave a wave towards Gavin before she searched the man. A pistol, a couple of clips, knife, set of keys, walkie talkie. Taking the man for what he had she loaded up and pushed on. Making her way to the edge of the woods near the road. She could hear them on the walkie she took. Apparently they knew about the tank now.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Sprayberry Rd.
Skills: None

Riley watched as both Ashton and Niesha climbed out of the Hordebuster, leaving her in the back of the massive beast of a vehicle by herself. Riley sighed slightly to herself looking down at Chloe's pack for a moment before moving herself forward and climbed into the front passenger seat. Her eyes scanning the area as she watched Ashton and Niesha getting out of the hordebuster with a little bit of trouble. Riley leaned forward watching the area in case there was anything that happened, or shit hitting the fan, she didn't know how to drive the thing which was probably a problem. She really did miss her own car which she had to sadly abandon a very long time ago when she joined up with the Franklin group.

"Fuck it." Riley said to herself as she reached for her crossbow strapping it over her back and started to climb out of it, feeling her foot suddenly slipping forward. "Shit!" Riley said but managing to get her foot on the ground, then the other as her boots started to loose traction the moment that she set her feet on the ground. Riley's arms flailing around like some crazy person, trying to at least get her feet to stop sliding around, Riley then reached forward trying to cling onto the door.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Johnson Ave.
Skills: Stealth (Ninja)

Raymond looked towards Amelia as she accepted the water bottle and gave her a friendly smile and nod. "Sure thing." He said as he remained very quiet trudging through the snow with his only good leg, he looked towards Amelia. Whats up Amelia?" Ray asked Amelia looking at her as he would occasionally look around the area. There seemed to be a lot of houses they looked like they would be a good place to settle for the night he was getting really tired after everything that has happened today. "We could try one of these houses here, there seems to be a number of them." Ray suggested looking towards Sam and smiled slightly.

Sam in his opinion was good so far, there were a number of times where she could kill them, and his suspicions of her being with Eden were gone now. "We can all rest up soon." Raymond said looking up at the sky for a moment, the sun was getting lower now and he really didn't want to continue the journey out in the dark. "So what were you before shit started to hit the fan?" Ray asked Sam, deciding to make a bit of small talk for now.

Beatrice Decker

Location: in a TANK
Skills: Tank Gunner Amateur

Beatrice couldn't help but be a little startled as Lola suddenly sprung into gear, moving the tank from their position. It was one thing to take aim at a target with everything calm - another to adjust for the slight movement and get that shot off once the chaos had already started. Beatrice shut her eyes for a moment and took a focusing breath, adapting rapidly to the new surroundings by the time Lola told her to shoot. With almost perfect clarity of mind, Beatrice fired off the first shot.

"Payload delivered," Beatrice replied, a hint of almost childlike excitement in her voice. The shot hadn't been perfect by any means, hitting a little low and to the left. But for someone who had never seen a tank shell in real life before, it was extraordinary watching it hit the gate. She was grinning as she reminded herself of the procedure for loading that Lola had shown her - load the shell, point first, and then close the hatch. Simple. And as much as she wanted to watch the destruction she had just unleashed on Eden, she got to work on reloading. They'd need another shot to go off soon, she imagined.

Jack Hudson

Location: Walking Towards Arnco Mills
Skills: Survival

"R-right, sorry 'bout that," Jack apologized, awkwardly making his way off of Tiffany and the walker. There was one bright side to this - they both smelled a little more like death and decay. If they were lucky, that might actually help to put some walkers off their scent. He doubted they were anywhere near enough death stench to be effective - but still, a man can hope. He took a quick moment to assess their current situation. None of the buildings nearby looked like they'd be a good place to hole up for the night. Either there were too many walkers, the buildings looked terrible, or some combination of the two.

"Don't think we'll find any sheltah here," Jack said, before offering a hand to help Tiffany up. His last estimate had said they didn't have the time to make any stops at all if they were to make it to Arnco Mills by nightfall - and that was assuming they could get a car. Their best bet now, as far as he was aware, was to get in a car and put as much distance between them and Newnan as was humanly possible - and find somewhere to take shelter on the way. Plus, with the way Tiffany was tired, having a means of transportation that only required one of them to be alert and focused would help. He had been the man of the house growing up and he was fine to fill that roll now as well. Gender stereotypes could be fulfilled for a little bit of time and it wouldn't hurt anyone, as far as he was concerned.

"No way we'll make it to Mills at this rate eithah," Jack added. "Should probably try and find some sheltah somewhere."
