Andy nodded and watched the river, her eyes casting back and forth trying to see someone coming towards them. She didn't even think it was possible that someone had already gotten behind them and was up at the flag already. She did spot someone coming their way that seemed like they were on the other team. They weren't in the river though. She pointed the person out to the Eva and Marygold. "Want me to zap them? Or have you got it with your plants?"
"Wait till their closer," Eva told her. Andy nodded and waited. She would start drawing the power of electricity to her, but would keep that low and wouldn't set it off. She didn't want the light show yet. She could feel the hairs on her arm start to prickle, and she didn't see any sparks. Andy smiled. The power wasn't always reliable so it was nice to have it do exactly what she wanted. Maybe knowing who she was helped?
Who she was. God. For real a god was her parent. An orphan always wants to know where they come from but Andy hadn't been like that. She had hated her birth parents for abandoning her. Just dumping a toddler off at a hospital was a shitty way to decide you didn't want to be a parent anymore. Did the abandoning have something to do with her godly parentage? She frowned and then focused on the electricity coursing over her skin, she didn't want to loose the lightning in the middle of this mock battle.
Ash got stranger the more Arthur got to know her. Why would her mother insist on such a thing? Especially in terms of defending oneself with a weapon; it seemed strange, and suggested to him that her mother might not be the sanest of all. Granted, apparently they were sired by the god of the underworld, so his mom had to be at least as eccentric. He couldn't assume the way a person would have to be to knowingly have a child with a literal deity. That would be a conversation he would never be having with him mom, not thinking he'd be able to precisely handle it.
"Yes, that's fine. Let's go." Arthur agreed, ready to focus on just about anything else. Going around the creek was better than wading through the icy cold water. He honestly understood why they were splitting ash and him up; even if they had useful abilities from their godly patron, they weren't trained at all, and the idea that they'd suddenly be able to masterfully defend themselves was patently ridiculous. Keeping the two of them with more experienced campers was a good strategic move, one that he could respect.
Mona at least understood her potential powers now. And just in time as they faced three of the enemy team. One of them, Jace, thought it best to tease them and Theresa was quick to action. Mona had to admit she was impressed. She joined, deciding that now was the best possible time to use her powers. She focused and faced the three enemies. "Surrender yourselves and let us pass." She noticed that Jace lowered his guard, but the other two didn't. One seemed to be thinking about it, but the other was still very much in the game.
Mona attacked with her spear, but he blocked her and swiped. She dodged almost effortlessly. She was not used to combat scenarios. "Give up now." She tried to use another power, Nephelokinesis, and form a cloud. She managed to produce it and grabbed Theresa and ran towards the flag. They had some cover, at least.
She saw the flag. "Made it. Watch out for traps though."
Another round of attempting to manifest the flame, and another round of failures to do so passed as Jade continued to work on her spell. Yet it never seemed to work out the way that she wanted to, however. Seeing as each time it was greeted with the sounds of fire popping, and the smell of smoke, closely followed by the sounds dying out and no sense of feeling of warmth that one would expect from a fire floating just above their hand. Deciding to give it one more shot, the girl focused hard on her magics and practically imagined the air around her palm pushing in together in order to create a condensed state that would be ripe for ignition. Then she could imagine the friction growing, a spark igniting the air, then the fuel for that fire becoming her magic as it sat comfortably above her palm.
Then she felt the warmth, and heard the soft crackling of flame that told her she had in fact caused the flame to manifest just above her palm. A loud squeal of excitement could be heard as she held it out to show the others around her. Pride clearly displayed on her features as the act of magic she had just achieved. So excited was she, that she never heard the other approach until she said hello. In turn, Jade jumped and yelped slightly, turning her head quickly in the direction of the noise. "Uhhhh, hi! I don't know your voice so if we are just meeting I am blind and can't see your hand!" She said quickly, defaulting to her usual introduction as people commonly enough tried to shake her hand without thinking that she wouldn't be able to see their hand.
Athanasia was almost grateful that she would be leaving the stream behind, but there was a downside. It meant leaving Arthur, who had been a willing ally through the School and now this camp. Seeing her half-brother so quick to agree to the plan Athanasia sighed. "Oh, la. It sounds better than wading through the creek." She noted with a grin at Alannah, though Athanasia was privately troubled. She could boast some knowledge of the sword, but it was certainly not on par with those who had been fighting the monsters for far longer than she.
"Do me a favor and tell me if you see anything," Athanasia ordered the skull that sat on the pommel of her borrowed sword. "Without your chattering." The pale girl added as an afterthought to the disembodied cranium. Her hand tight on the top of the skull lest it fall off. She wasn't sure how much damange the skull could handle, but Chatters seemed nice enough so she wouldn't risk the odd gift.

Bryan stared at Zeke for a moment and shook his head slightly. "You do know that Hades isn't actually bad right?" He teased his brother a little bit, though he did take the whole Prophecy thing seriously. "You do remember the whole war with Kronos, and Gaea as well right?" Bryan asked him, though it was before their own time it was still pretty fresh then he stopped when he heard some movement. Taking out his bow and started to look around as he noticed that there were two, no actually three Athena kids coming out of the bushes. One was holding a spear, while another was holding a sword and shield and the third one was holding a bow. "You two are pretty far from home you know." One of them said.
Eva watched a little bit longer as she then started to notice some movement and looked down at the ground below them and spotted two campers below them. "I see two of them." Eva said as she gestured towards the floor below them one of them was Kristin who was there and another Athena kid. "I'm kind of getting bored do either of you want to take the first shot at them?" Eva asked both Mary and Andy as well gripping her weapon as she cracked her fingers ever so slightly ready to get in on the action now as well, so far neither Kristin or the other Athena camper would even notice them.
Alannah smiled and nodded as she waved goodbye to Kristin and Arthur as they walked off, along either way as they went to split off to find the flag. She looked over towards Ash as she started to talk to the skull which was kind of creepy and weird. Though she didn't really even say anything about it. "So, where are you from anyway?" Alannah decided to finally ask Ash and to change the subject as well as she walked along with her. Rosie smiled slightly as she reached over and shook Jade's hand. "I'm Rosie it's nice to meet you, i'm the Camp's Oracle." She said as she watched the small bit of flame grow in Jade's hand and smiled towards her. "Guessing by the book you got there and the flame that you just made you are a child of Hecate?" She asked as she leaned back and took a bite out of some of her food. "Welcome to Camp Half-Blood by the way as well." Rosie said to Jade.

Jackson glared over at Aster and rolled his eyes, he was a kid of Ares he didn't even care about how he looked he was always dirty and roughed up a bit. "Yeah, no going to pass you aint my dad anyway he'd snap you like a twig though." Jackson said as he looked down at the food seeing that it was complete now and handed a fish to each of them. But Jackson threw the fish at Aster's face hitting him as he started to laugh a little bit. "There's only one, two of you count Jupiter's kid Jason who are the same person just the Roman aspect of Zeus. The other Thalia she's a Hunter of Artemis, so you wont really see her at camp unless you bump into the Hunters out in the world somewhere." Angie said as she started to eat her fish. "Only reason why there is so few is that the big three, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon made a pact years ago to not have anymore kids though that since has been kinda changed I guess. But yeah Hercules is real." Angie answered shrugging slightly.

Tammy just smirked she decided to stop picking on her half sister for now anyway as she picked up the child of Poseidon and quickly followed behind Leda until they were now at the flag location. Once Leda set her down Kiera dusted herself off slightly as she noticed that Leda had been pretty much tired herself out by carrying her the whole way from their flag location to the Ares' Flag location. So far they didn't see anything. Though right now they were being watched Annabelle had made herself invisible making it look like the flag was left undefended. "This seems pretty easy enough.." Kiera said looking between Tammy and Leda as well.
A few seconds later they were also joined by both Theresa and Desdemona, she was smiling towards Mona and gave her a slight nudge impressed that they had pulled it off. "I didn't think you would be able to get Jace to actually stand down like that." Theresa said, as she looked over seeing the other three girls. "Well hi there." Theresa said, then Annabelle decided to show herself as she used her own magic and managed to shove both Thresa, and Tammy backwards she was one of the best users of magic and mist control in Camp Half-Blood after all.

Kristin looked towards Arthur and nodded towards him and gave a slight smile. "Alright then follow me, the creek isn't that deep really." Kristin said as she started to walk forward as she trudged through the creek feeling a little bit better when the itching powder was washed off a little bit. Kristin looked around as she finished crossing the creek, so far she didn't notice anyone as she crossed which was pretty easy so far as well looking over at Arthur who was falling behind her a little bit.
She also noticed one of her half siblings was ahead who was still alert but not noticing the three were up in the trees right now either as he crossed his arms over his chest. "C'mon Arthur." Kristin called out towards him, she had her spear out at the ready as well as she scanned the area right now she didn't get the sense that they were being watched right now either.
"Fine, fine." The mobster skull complained. "Look toots I got a name and I'd be appreciative if you used it else it'd be a bone of contention between us. Get it? Bone of contention!" A faintly annoyed look flickered across Athanasia face as she rolled her black eyes. Ask a skull a question it seemed and they just chattered away. It was annoying, but she found it rather amusing. A good few of the places she had visited with her mother had been so entirely serious and dreary it was good to have a bit of humor. Even if it was from a skull. Even in the middle of a war game.
Noting Alannah's question, Athanasia gave a small smile to the older girl. "Well I'm from Rhode Island for now." She noted with a slight frown as she stepped over a large stick. If they were scouting surely it wasn't a good idea to step on sticks. That was always bad in hide-and-seek. "Though I stayed with Mor- mother- in New Orleans for a little while. It was so awesome and my friends were really nice." The young girl shrugged looking a bit sad as she glanced back the way Arthur was. She missed having a solid friend at her back. Even if she had a ton of questions about her newly found half-brother she didn't trust him more than most of the other campers in the Camp. "They couldn't visit and Mor didn't let me go to their neighborhood. Where are you from? Did you get sent to a creepy school and have to scheme to break out of it?" She grinned cheekily. "I like that word. 'Scheme'. It's like scene but all sneaky."
Jupiter huh? So both the Roman and Greek pantheons existed except it seemed as though they were the one and the same, just different aspects of the gods. If anything about all this made sense it was that. A lot of cultures, especially back then, didn’t worship gods per se. It was more of worshipping aspects of those gods that in turn made it appear as if they worshipped the entire entity. This was something he would need to study further. Demetri recalled Aster saying something about how he knew that Demetri wasn’t a Roman child but a Greek one, how does one tell the difference? And does it truly matter? They went on to explain of another child, a hunter that was rarely seen. Sounded like a mythological child of Artemis, a skilled huntress who was only ever seen when they wished to be. Demetris stomach began to rumble as the scent of cooked fish wafted through the air, it looked good enough to eat and made him wish he had bothered to scout for herbs to use.
He grabbed his fish from the Ares kid, holding it with the sleeves of his shirt as he gently blew on it. The night was crawling upon them and it appeared to be a tranquil one, all save for the worry he had for his parents. He took a small bite of his food, hoping that it could distract him a bit from the worry as the warmth of the flakey fish filled his mouth and traveled down through his body. ”Not bad. Could use a bit of lemon but still...” His mind wandered off for a bit, staring up at the sky through the openings of the natural canopy above them. Zeus huh? Another bite. ”So if I’m the only child of Zeus recently...I guess I must be pretty special huh? Only joking ofcourse, after all how special can you be when you’re surrounded by the children of gods?’ That point didn’t sit right with him, he was more ready to believe that they were all wizards or mutants or quiet possibly anything that didn’t directly relate to a being of supereme power over the cosmos. His legs curled back up, pushing dirt towards his back thighs as he sit there with his arms and head rested upon his knees, staring blankly at the fish. ”Does anyone have a phone i could use? My parents must be worried sick about me and I’d like to give them some ease of mind.”
"Clearly they are having some fun," Mary laughed slightly in agreement at the flashes of light that were occurring due to the rainbow lights. It made her think of her own friend who was a daughter of Iris, Leda, and it also made her wonder what exactly it was that she was up to. Probably knocking some Ares kid out if she had to guess, though she wouldn't complain about that at all. Some of the Ares kids are more then a little bit annoying, and part of her was somewhat hoping Leda had knocked Jace out. The guy kind of deserved it.
She glanced over towards where the Athena kids they could see were, and looked back over towards Andy and Eva. "If Andy wants to take the first shot that is perfectly fine with me," Mary said, giving the girl a smile as she nodded her head slightly. This was the sort of thing she herself was more used to, why not let one of the newer people around at camp try and see what they could do. It'll also let Mary see just what this girl could do, she was a bit curious about it.
Ezekiel rolled his eyes at Bryan. No Hades wasn’t bad but he didn’t exactly have a calm demeanor either. ”Please spare me the history lesson,” Ezekiel said and turned just as Bryan held up his bow and arrow as a few Athena kids walked out of the surrounding bushes. Ezekiel followed suit with his own bow, drawing the arrow back to his right jaw as he pointed it at one of the kids. ”We are technically all at home still. I thought you people were supposed to be smart,” Ezekiel said. He shifted a half second later, firing an arrow into the branch above one of the Athena kids heads. It lodged itself in but didn’t break. Ezekiel quickly launched another arrow, hoping to lodge the first one in further to break the branch but no dice. He tossed his bow onto the ground and released his murakumo. ”Screw it,” Ezekiel said and started running towards the Athena half-blood he was focused on. He held onto his sword with both hands and moved to swipe against their shield in an attempt to unstable them. His sword connected to the shield with a resounding echo across the space they were in. Well, they had drawn attention to themselves now. Time for some real training. The half-blood was knocked down and Ezekiel jumped back and moved on to take out one of the other ones.

Leda shook her head slightly, finally catching her breath. "No way is this going to be easy," she replied honestly. Too many stories in Greek Mythology started this way - with an apparently easy task becoming an impossible deathtrap. And given that they were going up against a team lead by the Ares Cabin, she wouldn't have been surprised if they decided to play fast and loose with the entire no killing rule. She then glanced over, seeing Theresa and Mona, one of the girls they had rescued from the school earlier that day. She gave a slight wave to the Aphrodite girls, only for Annabelle, Daughter of Hecate, to come out and shove Theresa and Tammy. Leda's insides churned slightly - at least her ex, Rebecca, wasn't with her half-sister right now. That would have seriously sucked.
Her sword, Ultraviolet, was giving off a slight red shade - not indicating anger, more excitement. She took a swing at Annabelle, missing horribly and the daughter of Hecate then shoved Leda back, sending her flying. Gritting her teeth in frustration, Leda sent off two rainbow blasts as retaliation, unfortunately only managing to graze Annabelle with the second attempt. "She's got magic on her side, if that wasn't obvious," she added to Kiera and Mona as an aside, figuring that they wouldn't have realized that Annabelle was manipulating the Mist to her advantage. There were so many things that new demigods just didn't know when they first arrived at camp.
“You are disgusting.” Aster complained as he peeled the fish off his face, sticking his tongue out at Jackson. “And congrats, your dad is Ares. He can snap all of us in half like a twig. Not sure why you bothered to bring that up.” He snapped at the Ares kid, thoroughly annoyed now. Why were all of them so damn gross? Why mom was interested in that God, Aster could only guess, but his children were awful. A wicked idea bubbled up in his head but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be on Jackson’s extra shit list that badly. He’d see how dickish the asshole was.
“Oh right. You need the ego boost. Your dad is the second best war god after all.” Aster replied cheerily, feeling much better with the back up plan in his head. He unlocked his phone and handed it over to Demetri, unconcerned with the device. His other siblings were just as nosey as himself so Aster made sure to log out of everything every time he left an app. Unless Demetri wanted to see page after page after page of selfies and photos with various filters and settings. There were only so many good hours of light a day and Aster would always make sure he had something on hand for every scenario. He wouldn’t want an ugly contact photo of him going around, would he? “Go ahead and call. It’ll probably go faster if you just ask who your mom cheated with.” Aster suggested helpfully, digging into his food carefully. It wouldn’t do to make a mess of himself just as he finished drying.
As she felt the other person reach over and grasp her hand, Jade gently closed her fingers around it and shook Rosie's hand. It was a bit of an odd situation as most people tended to just apologize and not bother shaking her hand when she pointed out her lack of sight. Yet this girl did not seem overly bothered by the fact that she was blind. Listening to the girl's words, it took Jade a long few moments to process what she meant. The camp's oracle? It took her even longer to figure out that it meant oracle in the manner of Greek myths, which were apparently real and all of that was still super weird. So did that mean that this girl could do something like reading into the future? Jade wondered if Rosie could do it on command, like did she always know which team was going to win the superbowl that year or was it random?
"Y-yeah! I'm Hecate's daughter. At least, I really think I am. I was told that she claimed me and this spellbook appeared in my hands. Not to mention the whole doing magic thing so its gotta mean I'm the daughter of somebody related to magic, right?" Jade said, rambling a little bit as she was still trying to wrap her head around the whole situation herself. Sure, she had done magic and a braille spellbook had appeared in her hands but it was still hard to concieve. Like, she was the daughter of some ancient Greek Goddess and a half-god herself? A broken person who couldn't see? Shaking her head she decided to try and change the subject as she turned towards Rosie. "So can you like, see the future and stuff? Does that mean you are always aware of the superbowl winners for that year or the surprise ending of those drama movies?"
Andy nodded at Marygold and let the charge go toward the kid walking with Kristin. It went wild and Andy frowned the kid didn't even notice. She wasn't totally surprised but really annoyed since she felt like she was trying to prove she was worthy of being a child of Zeus. Before today at least when she messed up it wasn't in front of people. She quickly pulled in some electrical energy again and sent it at the other camper again. This time he reacted and looked surprised and a little hurt. He was looking around for the source of the attack. It appeared he didn't see them at least. Andy tried one more time. This time the kid saw where the attack came from and she didn't even have the satisfaction of hitting him.
With a heavy sigh, she looked to Eva and Marygold. "Okay, your turn." Her face was a little red on the cheeks. She didn't feel like she had proven herself and instead felt extremely embarrassed by the showing of her power. She should have taken her time with those shots a bit better she thought.
"Sorry if I'm defenseless." He said, making conversation as they trudged along the creek. He was sure she knew that he was not exactly in a position to help too much, but either way, this would open the door for some tips on how to actually keep himself safe and be useful. "If I may ask then, any advice on protecting myself?" That would surely help both her and himself, if he could be a fast enough learner to actually implement any advice given.
As he walked, he looked over the water, and wondered if this was the place for them to be. He figured that children of Poseidon might be able to hide very well in the water, but then again, maybe there weren't that many Sea godlings. He hoped that they wouldn't be too vulnerable if there were in fact any of those halfbloods around, but then again, he was with Kristin. He was sure that if there were any major risks to them right now, the child of the Goddess of Wisdom would account for them.
Mona was so far impressed with what she had seen. The kids here were no joke. Though no one was seriously hurt, she wondered what an actual fight would be like with all of them on the same side. Facing off against centaurs again, or possibly worse. She had slowly started to understand what she could do with her abilities, and she was eager to continue to try them.
And as such, a new opportunity presented itself. A girl with magical abilities, using the mist to her advantage, was preventing them. It would do no good to launch herself into a fight. So Mona opted for her own abilities. "She's not the only one with magic on her side." Mona readied herself, using Amokinesis on Annabelle. She managed to latch on to the girl's heart, causing her to fall for Mona. That aside, at least the girl would not attack her. "There, she's into me now. I'm grabbing that flag."
Mona launched herself up to the flag trying to pull it out. It would not budge. Frustrated, she had a thought. Using Chrlorokinesis, she moved the ground under the flag up, allowing it to be pulled out easily. She raised it up a bit. "Got it! Now we need to make it back in one piece."

Over where Zeke and Bryan were the Athena camper that Bryan got into a defensive stance as the other Athena campers went to block their fallen friend, he was mostly sore for the most part anyway. Then one of them charged forward towards Bryan just as he blocked the Athena kid with his own bow. While looking over at Zeke and the third Athena Camper went in with her sword and only managed to cut a small hole in Zeke's shirt. Bryan went over towards his brother and managed to give the camper who had attacked his brother a pretty good kick staggering the kid a little bit.
Alannah looked over towards Ash and shook her head slightly. "Nope, I was born and raised in Los Angeles actually, my father is a professor there. Never went to public schools but did have an encounter with some monsters, my father of course knew and sent me here the moment it happened." She answered Ash as she looked around and made sure that no one else was still there either and sighed slightly, before stopping for a moment seeing a slight flash of lightening where they were, and knew that it was from Andy no doubt as well.
Rosie smiled slightly towards Jade and shook her head slightly. "No, not exactly I cant really control when a Prophecy comes it's really hard to explain." Rosie said, as she rubbed the back of her neck slightly she was still pretty new to being an oracle as well, only coming to camp around three years ago or so. She had seen a few minor prophecies for quests but nothing as big as the one she had announced just a few days prior.

"I'll certainly make sure Jace gives you a wedgie when we get back to camp." Jackson said rolling his eyes slightly as he leaned back looking up at the sky, they still had about an hour or two of day light left. "You may just want to text, or send a picture saying you are fine. Cellphones are kinda bad which Aster should know by now that they attract monsters if you try and call someone, they somehow are really attracted and can pick up a scent putting your family in danger. And trust me, that has happened to me when I first found out." Angie said with a slight shrug.
"Well you are certainly pretty damn special since being a kid of Zeus is a big deal, that is if you are his kid. It wont be official until we are at Camp Half-Blood." Jackson said to Demetri as he crossed his arms over his chest and stretched out a little bit looking around for a moment. "Gonna go take a leak be back." Jackson said as he got up and left to go do his business behind a nearby tree.

It was kind of hard to read what Annabelle was seeing she still kept a calm face, but managed to give Mona a friendly smile and winked towards her. She of course wasn't thrilled with working with the Ares kids in the first place either, and looked over towards Tammy and Theresa. "Go on ahead and take the flag back, I wont stop you." Annabelle said giving Mona a slight wink, Tammy looking over at the noobie for a moment. "That was easier than I thought." She said, Kiera nodded slightly as she looked down at her two swords as they both turned back to pendants onto her necklace.
"You don't have to carry me this time, I know you were tired out for just carrying me earlier." Kiera said to Leda, grateful for the lift earlier, Theresa gave her half sister a friendly pat on the back and smiled as the flag was picked up out of the ground. "Well we should start heading back and finish up this round, we are so close to winning." Kiera said as she was still on alert in case anyone else would jump out at them, she was actually having a lot of fun with this.

The Athena kid that Andy had fired on quickly went to cover behind a rock, sadly for him he wasn't armed with a bow looking over Kristin and noticed Arthur coming up and waved them both over. Kristin looked over at Arthur as he asked her a question and smiled slightly as she thought a little bit. "Dodge, and roll are good ways to get out of someones arm reach. And watch my back and i'll watch yours, also use the shield for protection also good for bashing people with to stagger them." Kristin said towards Arthur and noticed her half brother hiding behind a rock.
Eva smiled slightly towards Andy and gently patted her on the back. "It's okay he's on the defensive right now which is what we need him at." She told her and noticed Kristin starting to walk over towards her cabin mate and noticed Arthur now as well. "I'll take Kristin, you take the kid Mary and Andy you take Arthur." Eva said, as she used her ability and sent vines out of the ground quickly wrapping around Kristin's legs. Kristin stopping the moment they came up and quickly tried to hack them off with her spear as quickly as she could.
Mary fell silent hearing Andy's words, almost like she was thinking for a moment about whether or not to actually say anything to the girl. In the end, she decided to say something to her at the least, some encouragement of some kind. "It's alright Andy, everyone makes mistakes, you just need to learn to work past them and hopefully learn from them," she said, giving her a smile, before she turned her attention to the kid that Eva had directed her towards. It was the same kid she was pretty sure that Andy had tried to hit or something.
She started using her powers, or more of attempting to really, in order to stop the kid in his tracks and tie him up or something with vines to prevent him from moving. However her first attempt was a complete failure, not even managing to get the vines to sprout up from the ground. Letting out a bit of a huffy breath, she decided to try again, and this time the vines shot up around him and tied him up. Grinning slightly, she turned her head somewhat to glance at Andy, "It just takes practice, and when in doubt you just try again and things will work out better for you."
“A wedgie. Really?” Aster scoffed before bursting out laughing. “What are you guys, five? What shitty middle school drama are we in?” Aster didn’t particularly care about some stupid prank. It’d be a simple thing to make the big, scary Jackson a love sick fool, turn him on his siblings, and then break his heart when he inevitably was destroyed. Not even an Ares kid would stand up against the combined might of his own siblings so Aster wouldn’t have to deal with the “reward”part of the game. It was fool proof. Aster grinned smugly at Jackson and rolled his eyes at Angie.
“Yeah, well I’m bored. I can’t even touch up my nails or anything. Amonster would make the night go by faster at least.” The boy grumbled as Jackson left. It would even be entertaining to watch Jackson maul something by himself. They were sitting around a fire, making random guesses about someone’s parent, and then they’d have nothing to do but insult each other. Which was something Aster was all about but they’d been out on this silly clean up quest for Gods know how long and he was bored. But an idea pop in his head and he sent a wicked grin the new kid’s way.
“Heeeeeeey, Demitri. I know a way we could help prove if you’re Zesus’ kid. Since he’s the king of the gods, you as his son should be able to best the Ares kid in combat right? Maybe a little sparring between you two could help figure some stuff out.” Aster suggested innocently.
He managed to get the one, while Bryan handled the other two. He would hear about that later. Ezekiel watched as the one staggered back from Bryan’s kick and Ezekiel nodded. ”And we’re running,” he said before breaking into a sprint. ”Keep up Bry! We’re racing now!” They had been playing the game for sometime now, they were running out of time. As they ran, they came across another child of Athena. Ezekiel nearly ran into her but he was ready to fight and jumped right in. He landed a blow but she matched him as well, causing him to stumble slightly but he recovered and went to repeat the process. He missed this time but the daughter of Athena didn’t. Ezekiel landed flat on his ass and he groaned before rolling over. In the process of rolling, Ezekiel grabbed onto a stick and threw it at the Athena girl. It went up and promptly fell right back down where Ezekiel had originally grabbed it from. ”And this, lady and gentleman is why I remain in the medical tents.” He looked over at Bryan and smiled sweetly at him. ”A little help Bry?” Oh he was never going to hear the end of this one. So much for Ezekiel’s pride.
