Sometimes you have to change a lot of things to get what you want. Don't think of it as a "I will do this one thing and I will get what I want" situation.

Think of it as a "I will change this and it will get me one step closer to what I want. Then I can figure out what I need to do next. And then what I need to do next. And eventually I will get to what I want and then I will do a little dance to celebrate how far I have come and get some Curry Chicken and then figure out what I am going to do next." situation.

You know, even if this thread goes down in flames, I just want to say that the responses put forth by everyone will make a marvelous guide in the future. I also think that it's nice to see the community come together like this. I feel like it hasn't been this lively since I joined the site back in April, but alas. This thread has been popping all night. Good work?

Is it just bad to state my case and feel like everything is against me you know?
I do want to just have that fair shot without being ghosted all the time and have something be in my favor for once and for good.

@Click This apparently you don't have the whole story at all.

The staff there don't understand how emotionally frustrating that is as they have sticks up their asses and they abuse their power while not wanting to understand the side of anyone's story, they just jump on someone willy-nilly without taking a damn thing into account. Staff is supposed to be fair, not power hungry corrupt excuses of their title!


For what it's worth, I was there for what happened and was privy to all the details. Every other public post of yours was a complaint or rant about other roleplayers. (Does this sound familiar?) I'm the last person who would want to kick somebody off a site, but at some point even I had to agree the complaints and the reports had to stop. Pretty sure you were warned off multiple times, too.

I'm not trying to bully you, but the point I wanted you to consider was that if your behavior was bad enough to warrant people reporting you on sight, what does that mean for the chances people want to create stories with you? I'm probably beating a horse here at this point, but what you need to do is to stop posting and set aside time for some ample self-reflection.

The point is more that your feelings are not the responsibility of anyone else.

You can't ask someone not to make you feel a certain way if you are going to feel that way just on the basis of them not being willing to commit 100% to an RP thread on an internet forum when you haven't even made clear you desire/expect 100% commitment.

I genuinely want to help people, but only if they want to be helped. I mean, I've coded several things for people on the guild and I've always been open about helping with coding. I try to be a good GM and a good player, as well as a good person. Ofc ive made some mistakes and some people might not like me, but i genuinely try.

Tbh, the biggest frustrating thing about this is that we are all trying. When it comes to GMing we are trying, or roleplaying or even creating a community (albeit sometimes flawed). Ofc people are gonna see only the best parts. I mean, I've bragged about Descension already on here, but I'm not gonna talk about how I cancelled my RP before that despite working really hard on it because it didnt get the turnout I wanted. It's like social media, I'm only gonna brag about my accomplishments and it gives this faux idea that our work is perfect. But ir's also a bit insulting that all our hardwork is called "coasting" when all of us are trying.
