Sir Reed sighed and shook his head when he saw
Ditzy justify himself before heading out the door with
Nagare.
Ada was also excited to go and Reed saw no reason to stop her. Exasperated, he told
Ada, "
Knock yourself out, Ada. Maybe the Lizardmen there can figure out what you are."
"I love you Haley. No one else. We can still go to help Ditzy if you want but... Maybe we should get another request? Like that one... It doesn't sound as... 'risky' as the one Ditzy took..."
Haley giggled. "
I'm flattered, hun. Really, I am. I'm glad that you only have eyes for me." The Siren then looked at her lover dead in the eye. "
But you have to promise me that you won't break another woman's heart for me, alright? I don't mind, okay? It's how we monsters roll. Just... let me know, alright? Not that you can keep a secret like that from me."
"
But alright, we'll do that one instead. I'm no fighter and I don't think I'd wanna square up with a bunch of warrior monsters." Haley had made her decision.
"
I'll go join Nagare in looking after Ditzy, then." Sir Reed also said.

Ditzy led the Guild members to Lozagon Forest and behind him were an equally-excited
Ada and their chaperones, the ice dragon
Nagare and Sir Reed who had come with despite protesting the presence of males for this quest.
They were about to cross the bridge to a river when they happened upon a small caravan with assorted monsters with it: Lizardmen, Minotaurs and Orcs. The three wagons of the caravan were being pulled by large boars and had all sorts of stuff in them: Supplies, tents, weapons and armor. "
Looks like the warrior monsters' left Lozagon Forest..." Sir Reed remarked.
The caravan was also heading the Guild members' way. "
...and heading south towards us, it seems." Reed turned towards his fellow members. "
Do we come up with a plan or do we just charge and hope for the best? I prefer the former, by the way."
The Great Horizons 3~
@13org (FYR)~
You and Haley journey to Tulisan Forest, enjoying each other's company. No incident occurred in-between so it was a pleasant stroll through the grasslands for the two of you. "
I hope this quest doesn't take us too deep into Tulisan Forest. The southern half is in Varjan territory and we... don't wanna go there." Haley remarked.
Upon arriving at the forest's edge, however, you and Haley immediately come after a man sitting beside a tree. His coat and trousers and shoes all looked expensive, albeit they were worn and dirty as if they had been exposed to the elements for far too long. The man himself was also dirty, his fair skin was caked with dirt and mud. He had a ragged, unkempt beard and he could be heard mumbling as he drew shapes on the soil with a stick.
"
What the hell...?"

"Are you the ones who send request to The Guild?"
"
Guild?" The spearman motioned to his fellows to lower their weapons. "
Come, come. I take you to Maria."
Yang and
Kira was then taken deeper into the rock formations. Hidden behind the large stones was a camp filled with an entire regiment of warriors. Sonarran rebels, armed with Varjan gear. The two women saw Varjan Warriors with their dark armor and fearsome visages and Tribal Brigands who were only clothed in fur and leathers. An emblem of a yellow sun could be seen engraved on their armor to show they were rebels.
Maria was in the middle of the camp, discussing the operation with her sergeants around a campfire. Unlike the others, she wore no armor and was garbed in her usual attire. Yet, all these men followed her lead. "
Ah! The Guild, I knew you would come." Maria approached the Guild members with a greeting. "
I'm sorry for this but we cannot be too careful. This land is very dangerous."
"
Please, over here." Maria motioned to join her in the bonfire. "
I recognize Yang the Monk but who is the Beelzebub?"

“You shouldn’t say things like that! Everyone has their value, the other members have special advantages and experience yes, but you can be every bit as useful! Have you forgotten that you saved my life once? I honestly think you should have more confidence in yourself, everyone starts somewhere after all. You should have more pride in yourself, Neil.”
Neil was astounded for a moment by your pep talk. Perhaps it was corny. But then, a bright smile formed as he chuckled in joy. "Thanks for that, Vară. You're the best."
Taking a more confident tone, Neil continued. "To be complimented by a noble lady of the Riemsianne family. Truly, there is no greater honor." He indulged in flowery language. "My humblest gratitude, Lady Vară. Hahaha!"
“So, this Ian North person, how much do you know about him? Does he seem like someone we would want to work with?”
"Err..." Neil was unsure of what to reply. That probably didn't mean anything good. "I-I heard from the other guild members that he's... eccentric, to say the least. B-But he does pay a lot so there's that."
The carriage soon arrived at Ambran. The town was lively as ever, as expected of a place where trade and commerce was celebrated every day. Activity bustled through the cobblestone streets, rows of vendor stands lined the sides while people and horses and wagons browsed the goods or were making their way to somewhere in the busy town.
You and Neil bade farewell to Talia, who seemed to be glaring at you for some reason. After parting ways, you and Neil made for the guard barracks located at the center of the town. Upon arriving there,
a man in a full suit of armor was waiting just outside and leaning on the barracks wall. His gray armor concealed his entire body and had gold decorations as well as blunt spikes on it, likely only for aesthetic.
The man in the armor noticed you and waved over. "Hey! You guys are here! I've been waiting for months for someone to accept my quest, you know?" Months? His quest was up for only a couple of days. "Well, that doesn't matter. You're here and we can get this show on the road." Despite the armor, this man acted more like a naive adventurer or clown.
"Y-You're Ian North, right?" Neil asked.
"The one and only! I do believe I took down an impostor yesterday back in the Boreal Port festival. Turns out, he was great-great-great-great-great-great-grandson, Keith." Ian replied, speaking confidently as if that was the truth. "And you two are... Neil and Vară! Yeah! I've been exerting great effort recognizing the Guild members, you know? You two look cute together, by the way.
