Saoirse remained silent when Ismael inquired about the dangers in the jungle. While Annya replied to him, Shae had glanced around to watch various creatures scuttling about. She didn’t know how well a knife would hold up in battle and wished she had her gun. It would make life much easier but she recalled dropping it in the bank heist. She groaned. More evidence that would be used against her if she ever returned. The thought scared her and she pushed it out of her mind. She pulled her hair into a messy bun in case anything happened. She hated her hair being in her way.

Next, Raven began describing her job. While the Avalians wouldn’t have any idea, Shae was vaguely familiar with it. She only half listened though; the idea of it bored her. Why pretend to be something you weren’t? She supposed money made a big difference. She couldn’t help but wonder how much easier Raven’s life was compared to her’s. It was definitely more relaxed. She tuned the girl's voice out and tried not to think about what her life would have been like if she hadn’t turned into a criminal.

After she introduced herself, the warrior princess gave her an encouraging smile. Shae tried to return it, but wasn’t sure how, so she simply nodded in return. Her eyes widened at the mention of ‘lighting the trees on fire’. Was having fire an option? Shae felt a rush of excitement. What if she didn’t have it though - could she get a refund? She couldn’t help but feel anger at the idea of not having fire at her fingertips. She scowled. In the background, Annya and Raven discussed Chicago and she rolled her eyes. The only fun she had was with her gang. The city could rot in hell for all she cared. The idea of that was stupid to her and she wouldn’t waste her energy on nonsense. It wasn’t as if she could go back in time to fix it.

Though Annya told them not to worry, the jungle mocked her. Branches breaking and the sound of breathing caught her attention. Saoirse froze and reached into her bag for her knife. Even if it wasn’t useful, she felt safer holding it. Suddenly, two horrible, ugly trolls emerged from the depth of the jungle. Shae stared with shock and awe, not knowing what they were. One of them charged Kharne which made her feel better; at least the dragon… born could handle himself. Then her heart plunged when the second troll knocked Raven off her feet and grabbed her. Its’ words sent chills down her spine, and then went to take a bite. The scenario took Raven a moment to respond; after screaming, she produced a gust of wind that knocked Shae backwards and the troll as well. Annya had tripped as well but regained her footing enough to attack the creature. She watched as it released Raven and threw her into Annya. The two girls collided and fell, but Annya rolled Raven off of her quickly and jumped back to her feet. She watched as the princess threw her axes at the troll and said ‘return’. With shock, Shae watched as the axe returned back to her hand. When Annya told them to stay back and hide, Shae didn’t need to be told twice. No way in hell was she fighting this ugly creature. She would live to fight another day. The idea of Raven nearby it though...

Saoirse hastily sheathed her knife and turned to Raven, then picked the girl up under her arms and dragged her backwards. Shae let go of her and turned back to the trolls and saw Kharne fighting off the other. ”You okay?” She inquired and hadn’t noticed the ring of sparks around her wrists yet. Shae glanced at the tree above her and to Raven. ”Can you climb at all?” She glanced at the foliage and then down. They would be safe higher up and away from these creatures' grasp… right? Her heart was hammering harder than it had during the heist. For once, she didn’t know what to do or know how to defend herself and she hated the feeling. Whatever her power was, she had to rely on it for safety.

“There will be much more violence on your path ahead, just avoid doing anything here.”

The crazed red-faced demon let a low growl emanate from his throat, Her felt himself beginning to calm, but best believe, fury still remained. His eyes had been focused on the door that had led the Seven Sins out and into a world that was ill prepared for them. It made the most sense for Lilith to push some of her most powerful children through the rifts of darkness. The dark elves had begun an inevitable war born from so much tension and conflict, and as mild as this world presents itself to be, it shall become harsh enough to rival a layer within the chaotic Abyss. So if the Seven Sins were the most suitable in extending the influence of demonkind to this new untapped world, and if this very world was most suitable to thrive given the current circumstances… Then where did he fit in? Despite his previous words of violence, he did not possess the great power the other sins held. They could bend wills and change the laws that kept a world together. What was his strength? What was his advantage?

Vrexen might have missed Myra exiting the room, but her camouflage failed her. He did not quite understand why this had happened, but he made a mental note to learn the reason.

“Myra! We will not be joining the likes of them.” His voice was sharp and demanding like a sergeant correcting a misguided soldier. Walking upright, he marched from the chamber with purpose despite not having any. With no care for Myra’s desire to remain unseen, Vrexen spoke to her as they made their way out of the castle and back towards the city.

“I know not what I must do, but I have you, a sister and native to this world. Mother may have intentionally placed you and I on the same path… To make me see… To make you see… Truth. Truth in what it means to be a true demon and truth in what it means to dwell in this world.” Vrexen spoke as he thought of the countless layers of the abyss he had thrived in. He had to learn how to live in these places before he could kill in these places. The same applied here. THIS IS HOW I WILL DEFEAT THOSE FOOLS! He briefly stopped mid step before continuing on. One problem plagued him however. Myra did not communicate through speech.

“Myra the unseen… the unheard… Hmm. Myra, I would like you to acquire something for us. We need a map of this world that I can use. I will go find us a second guide. One that can speak. I will meet you at the gate of this settlement when I have acquired someone suitable.” Vrexen was practically telling Myra to steal what they needed. Her abilities and physiology gave her a high affinity towards stealth. Why not use it for something other than hiding?

Time: 10 am
Location: Jungle
Interactions: Annya @princess, Raven @Tae, Saoirse @Potter, Kharne @Kazemitsu
Equipment: A rouge-ish set of clothing, his dog tags, and a set of faux demihuman Wolf ears, a Ring of Disguise, two rations of food, water flask, a bar of soap and a few other portable hygienic products.

The moment Ismael asked his question, the hair on his neck stood on end as he felt everything fall silent as Annya spoke. The center of his back tensed as he felt his hips almost ready to start to drop. Yet he stopped himself, knowing that if anything comes it will come into melee rather than ranged combat. As Annya spoke, she only gave reassurance and never answered his question. Yet it seemed the jungle was more than willing to answer his questions.

In a thunderous moment of aggression, the thumping of thunderous drums almost becomes the only sound that can be heard as 2 giant green creatures sprung out from the thickets on either side of their trail. The battle cry they let out was loud enough to feel as if it was from a booming stage speaker. One immediately sprang to take Kharne head-on, as the clash was something to be only spoken as it was unbelievable to even the eyes to make. Yet Ismael's eyes were pulled away to the other one, as he saw Raven nearly get killed in a swinging blow, yet it seemed to have aimed to knock her over and inspect her.

Ismael's feet began to move on their own until Annya yelled to him and Shae. Her eyes were strong and commanding, Ismael took the moment and calmed his own nerves. His feet were stilled long enough for Annya to throw an ax and save Raven. Yet at this moment, once the Troll tossed Raven back to them, Ismael was prepared to catch her, but Annya seemed to have taken that role, so Ismael prepared to fight. Sure, they were told to run and hide, but Ismael couldn't think of much of a place to run and hide. Shae wanted to climb the tree but Ismael said quickly, "You can't you'll die tired, they are taller than us and can probably break the tree with ease, the ground is the more safe place to be". They are fast, strong, and wielded weapons twice the size of Kharne, climbing just makes you more like a fruit to be picked, or a coconut to be knocked off.

So what is a person to do when faced with monsters? Run and hide and wait to die in some cowardly way, Ismael would not die with his back turned. He waited to know what is the moment to act. It would either be when either one of the Trolls feels overpowered and will switch to try and run with an easy meal, or when it feels it has the advantage. Since these creatures are still predators they would look at it the same way any predator would, if they become too injured they will make a quick risk analysis in favor of fleeing. After all, if you are hurt you can't hunt, if you can't hunt you can't eat, and if you can't eat you can't heal and will eventually die.

The real goal Ismael had was to make sure Shae and Raven stayed safe. Sure in the grand scheme of it all, they are around the same at the moment, with Shae having a slight leg up on Ismael because she has a knife. Yet Ismael's instincts told him what to do: protect, fight, survive. Without hesitation, he is ready to take action when he sees an opening. Their backs look to be where best to hit them, you might be able to get underneath them from in-between their legs with how wide their stance is and hit them from the back. Their necks look too thick to be able to look back well, so they'd need to turn, which is how he'd open an opportunity for the others. But he needed to wait for a moment to create the opening.

Yet Annya seemed to be fighting the beast well, she threw one of her axes and it seemed to have dug deep and left a burning wound that left it confused and worried. As she yelled for it, and it had returned to her, Ismael realized magic is a very strange thing and would be wholly useful in this situation. Yet Ismael was not gonna take a bet at the moment of his magic, after all, what if in the outburst he brings them all into an inferno that brings the Jungle down on them and kills them, so he'll have to stick to his skills and time his approach.

With no weapon, magic, nor power to fight, how could Ismael have a smile?

The very moment she got out of the room, Myra already felt more relieved. Not only due to not being near the hooded figures that could use dark magic, but just being outside was already advantageous for Myra if she needed to run or even fight, due to letting her move herself more freely. When Vrexen called her name, Myra was still looking around after getting outside, looking for the first thing she was looking for when she entered the dark skinned people's cavern: a way for her to leave the island. Worried about her presence being known, especially after Vrexen called her out loud, Myra undid her camouflage just enough to vehemently shake her head, putting her hand over her mouth and pointing towards Vrexen, in a quiet but rather desperate plea for him to not shout her name like that.

Following Vrexen as he began walking towards the town, Myra made sure to camouflage herself again as she continued listening to his words. While Myra didn't understand the complicated things he was talking about, she could undertand from his tone that he cared about her. He did mention his 'mother' once again though. So far, from what Myra was able to gather from what Vrexen said, this 'Mother' person was a good person and was only looking for a place for her children to live. If Vrexen was doing what this "Mother" person told him to do, then he couldn't be a bad person, he also said that they wouldn't join the hooded figures or the scary creatures, which was already something on his favor on Myra's eyes. Other than that reasoning, he also speaked in a very nice tone to her, even if he was a bit scary and screamed sometimes. Undoing her camouflage a little bit, she turned to Vrexen with a kind smile.

Vrexen then mentioned that he wanted her to get something for them. Tilting her head as she carefully listened to his words, Myra quietly nodded when he mentioned a 'map'. She had already seen some dark skinned people and a few strangers that rarely went into the forests mentioning something about a 'map' and then grabbing a piece of paper with strange little drawings on it. After getting the map, Myra would find Vrexen on the front gate when he was done with his task of finding them another guide.

With a new task and definitely calmer than she was before, especially since they wouldn't be inside that city for much longer, Myra camouflaged herself again as she began prowling through the city, searching for anything that could resemble a small roll of paper with drawings.

The tavern keeper put a full breakfast in front of them, and a thick brew. Alcohol this early? That was unusual, unbidden. They ate, and sipped lightly, tail flicking from underneath the blanket they wore, drapped over their body. Something stirred in the back of their head, a discomfort. The thick drink made them uneasy, on edge, but not for the drink itself. No, something else...

They continued to eat, trying to discern their disturbing feeling. It was different than dysphoria... The usual reason they would change shape. Or was something they couldn't put their finger on.

Once done with their meal, they went back upstairs to change. That was a good drink. Sat well on top of their meal. Aiko tossed the sheet onto the bed and grabbed a change of clothes. Today was an elegant day. The fine fabrics and style of this robe-like garb would be perfect. It was an old thing, and this particular one was plain, yet still graceful, perfect for everyday outings.

Even though it was early, they weren't about to skulk around the tavern all day. They'd be put to chores. On their way out, however, they heard something interesting. A pair of patrons speaking quietly about the broadcast last night. And just like that, that... forbodding, that's what. There was a forbodding in the air.

So, what happened last night? Was that why the tavern master gave him a drink? Hair of the dog and all that? A few synapses fired off, finally (perhaps triggered by the presence of alcohol, similar to the previous night), and Aiko remembered. Oh, gods, war had been declared. And now that they were outside, they could hear a commotion over the usual city din.

Stepping out from the alley, they could see where it was coming from down the street. In the plaza, people had gathered, and she could hear voices over the rest. A man spoke to ease the tension in the crowd, and he spoke sensibly. Would it be enough to calm them? If violence erupted, it would be very bad for business. They let their pheromone presence, the calming power of the dreamer, exude itself as he continued to approach the plaza, hoping it would be enough to help ease the situation. Not getting involved directly would be best, probably.

Vrexen returned Myra’s kind smile with narrowed eyes. He was used to such an expression being worn by creatures that were deeply sadistic, but Myra’s was a bit off. Soft and.. trusting? He decided to not dwell on it as nothing significant occurred after the gesture.

Per his request, Myra made herself unseen once more and ventured through the city in search of their map. That left him to search for a second guide for this strange new world. He could have asked the advisor to supply one, but he wished to have one with loyalties not so close to the two-headed dragon of the dark. Allies in conflict were good, but manipulation wasn't barred in this relationship.

As he walked through Malthemoor, almost back the same way he had traveled to the castle, Vrexen kept his head on a swivel, ruling out soldiers, guards, and children as well. As he entered what appeared to be Malthemoor’s busy market square filled with either dark or pale skinned elves, he noticed the many eyes staring back at him. Seven monstrous demons had traversed through the city just after Vrexen’s arrival, so many were wary of his presence. He stuck out amongst them and drew the attention of all who saw him. It had not been officially stated, but rumor was already beginning to spread within the city about a new alliance with the rare and mysterious demon race.

“Who to choose? I need a suitable guide.” He said aloud to himself as his eye focused on a male dark elf that appeared to be some sort of hunter or ranger. Fit, equipped, seemingly unaffiliated, and probably well traveled, but all Vrexen saw was an elf civilian that could take care of himself. Now, how to get him to be our guide? I could threaten to murder his family… Maybe after killing one first to prove I am serious… What would be the best method? Claws… Teeth… If I choose a child, a few bites would suffice… Or maybe…

“A suitable guide?” A dark elven woman spoke from beside Vrexen with a vampish grin on her face. She was successful in breaking Vrexen’s concentration on the other elf he had mentally chosen as he shifted his three-eyed gaze towards her. As intimidating as he thought he was, her demeanor didn’t shift. She actually rolled her eyes at him “Do you need a guide or not? Because that guy over there. She pointed at the elf Vrexen was studying. Yeah, him. He’s never even been outside the cave. He wears all that equipment to look… dangerous I assume. So. Do. You. Need. A. Guide?” Vrexen narrowed his eyes at the insulting nature of this woman.

“Yes… I need a guide. My subject and I. To leave this place.” He was tempted for only a brief moment to stab his claws deep into the side of her throat.

“Perfect! Now we’re making progress. By the way, my name’s Astra, and I am happy to be of service. All I require is a small fee of… protection.”

“Protection. Perfect. I, Vrexen will not tear off your limbs and feed them to the lowliest of bottomfeeders, if you choose to guide me. There. Protection from me.”

“For fucksake…” Astra turned her head away and scrunched up her face. What in the two moons did I get myself into. Gods fuck this situation is shit… At least his wanting me dead has some simple conditions. I’ll just guide him into a beast’s nest once I’m through with him. She turned back to face Vrexen with a warm smile. “I guess we have a deal. Guidance for protection… from you and anyone else!”

“I am acquiring a map from my subject and will meet her at the gates of this settlement. Make any preparations you need to and meet us there… and I do have your scent.”

“I’m sure it’s pleasant, Mister Vrexen. See you in a bit.” And with that, Vrexen made his way to Malthemoor’s gates to patiently await Myra.

Mika glanced over to Kuroi, noting the irritation on his face. While she felt bad that he was annoyed, she also figured it wasn’t something she could entirely help. ”We may be having to meet them somewhere in between at this point. They’re coming this way and we’re going that way. I have communication with them.” Mika explained to him, careful not to really say any names.

Her attention was then caught by two newcomers in cat masks. Mika blinked before beginning to study them as Siv replied. Who were these random people and what were they up to? Her eyes narrowed at them, but her attention was grabbed by the human. She stared at him, a bit appalled as he introduced himself and started speaking quite boldly. Her initial reaction was to slap him silly, but she stopped herself as she realized he was speaking from a drugged state. When did he mistake her to be proposing loving though?! ”I...wel-...umm…” She was trying to find the right words to say as she felt a slight pink warm her cheeks. Thankfully something else happened as she heard a scream and watched a man fall off the roof into a pile of hay. ”Hold that thought Slick.” She said as she turned to look at Yuka, locking eyes with her for a moment.

Her vision was then blocked by Kuroi as he stepped protectively in front of her. She did lean her head around him to watch Yuka as she listened to Kuroi’s response. It was at this point that she knew she needed to make a decision. Did she remain quiet and appear a coward like she assumed Yuka thought her? Or did she speak up? She would risk revealing herself and potentially bringing herself more danger, but this could be the point in time to prove what kind of ruler she would be. This thought almost made her sick, was she actually accepting the fact she was to be the next ruler of Roshmi? Perhaps she had been trying to run from that fact by leaving the palace that morning.

She took a deep breath as she reached out and gently placed a hand on Kuroi’s shoulder, speaking only to him at first. ”She’s speaking the truth. I hate that she is, but she is.” She sighed before stepping around him, glancing up at Yuka again before looking around at the crowd. She held herself tall as she pulled her hood down.

”Everything she is saying is the truth except for one thing. Not every Yoshikawa wishes to save their own skin. I am Princess Mikazuki and I am not my father. He is siding with the Dark Elves and he’s doing it out of fear. He’s never really cared about his children and would gladly sacrifice us for his own benefit.” She now glanced around at the people, determination on her face. ”I wish to be different, I AIM to be different. I wish to be a fair and just ruler, a ruler for the people of Roshmi. So when you go to spread the word be sure to make it know that Princess Mikazuki hears your voices and she will find a way to put an end to this Dark Elf alliance!” There were some cheers and she glanced back at Kuroi, fully expecting to see displeasure on his face. She needed to speak up, though, and she hoped he’d understand.

Lizzie glanced over to Barboda as he claimed to have experience on a ship. He also seemed to have a surprise for them, but that would have to wait a moment longer. Her eyes landed on Helio for a brief moment as he mouthed to her encouragingly. She would have laughed, but merely gave him a nod. He was trying to help at least. In total it seemed they had four people including herself that knew how to sail a ship and one that was claiming to be a fast learner. That wasn’t terrible, though the ones that already knew were going to have their work cut out for them teaching these landlubbers.

Tigerlily claimed to have faced some of the nasty creatures lurking in the deep and Lizzie logged that away in her mind. She’d ask her about that later, figuring it was best to know what they were headed up against. Nym impressed her the most. He was old salt, it seemed, and he was shaping up to be her best choice for first mate. She’d have to discuss that with him later, though. ”Wonderful. I shall request those with experience to help those that are lacking. Learn swiftly or face the potential of being left at our next port town.” With that she followed down to the feast that was waiting for them.

Everything smelled delightful and she so badly wanted to dig into the food. When was the last time she’d had a meal like this? Had it been close to a year ago now? Her stomach growled in response, but her ears caught what Barboda had said and she turned to watch him head below deeper into the ship. She sighed as she knew she should go down there as well. She turned to the rest of the crew and spoke. ”Eat well, once everyone is done I want all hands hoay.” She then looked at Nym, thinking for a brief moment. ”And we’ll call her...the Harem for now.” She smirked at him then began heading down the steps.

She listened as Barboda and the caged person spoke, not yet revealing herself to be there. So he was a captain as well? Hmm this could be quite interesting. He finished speaking and she stepped out of the stairway, smirking at the shirtless man as she looked him over. ”Well my luck just keeps getting better and better doesn’t it.” She swaggered closer to the man, never losing her grin. ”So, Captain Tesoro, I’m Captain Lizzie Murphy and our purpose is to commandeer this ship and get the fuck off this island. I’m willing to free you, but might I ask what I’ll get in return for your freedom?” There was a playfulness to her tone, yet also a dangerous ring to it as well. She truly didn’t like having useless cargo on her ship.

Even though Myra was in a much better mental state after she talked with Vrexen and after getting away from the main castle, she was still a bit nervous by being nearby so many dark elves. Even with her camouflage, Myra did her best to be as sneaky as possible, using dark corners of the streets, moving through alleys and even using the rooftops when possible. As she began approaching the trade district and the streets began getting more and more busy, Myra began focusing more on looking for things that could be the 'map' that Vrexen was looking for.

Being her first time not only inside a city, but seeing such a busy place as the trade district too, Myra was feeling a mix of emotions. She was still wary and nervous, not only due to being nearby so many dark skinned people and after what she experienced back at the castle, but she was also incredibly curious due to all the new smells, colors, noises and different things that the dark skinned people were selling. Even though the sheer amount of smells did disorientate her a little bit due to her enhanced senses, her curiosity was still enough to motivate her to keep on going forwards on her search for the 'map'.

Due to the amount of people that were on the trade district and how busy it was, Myra knew that it would be unlikely that anyone would notice her if she simply kept her camouflage on and moved carefully enough to not bump into anyone. As such, Myra began moving through the trade district relying more on her camouflage instead of actively trying to hide herself using dark alleys and the rooftops, instead going as far as to just walking through the main street, dodging and weaving through the people passing by as her curious eyes wandered through the many things that were being shown by the dark skinned people to the others who walked through the street.

There were many things being sold by the dark elves at the trading district. From fragrant but strange types of food she had never seen before to a multitude of different shiny things, Myra had to make sure to remember herself she was looking for the 'map', trying her best to keep herself focused instead of wandering away due to her curiosity. While it was a bit complicated due to the sheer amount of people, noises and smells, Myra finally got into a place she was more likely to find what she was searching for.

On that particular part of the trade district, the things that the dark skinned people were looking at were much less 'shiny' and definitely didn't smell like food. Some were rectangular and opened, showing lots of small pieces of paper inside and had many squigly lines on them. These strange objects, while curious, definitely weren't the 'map' she was searching for, as the maps had drawings of many types, instead these things only had weird, boring squigly lines. Moving to further into the street, Myra found two places that definitely should have what she was searching for. One of those, the dark skinned person was showing others a bunch of big pieces of paper, with many dawings and lots of colors on them. These ones were definitely much more different than the boring squigly lines, as they had many different forms and shapes into these drawings and even had pretty colors! The other dark skinned person was selling drawings that weren't as pretty, instead having no colors and being much less complex, instead of being colorful, showing people, animals or flowers, these were much simpler, showing a bunch of shapes and forms.

As she continued silently watching the two different dark elves speaking and trying to sell their own products, Myra simply couldn't figure out which one was the 'map'. After a good while looking and thinking, Myra decided to simply take one of each. After waiting for the perfect moment when each one of the dark skinned people were distracted or looking elsewhere, Myra took the most complex and complicated one she could find from each type and hid herself in one of the dark alleys, away from the view of the two dark elves that were taking care of the things she took. With her mission complete, Myra began making her way to where Vrexen said he would wait for her, being way more careful in the way she was moving herself, now that she was carrying two, rather big pieces of paper, which wouldn't be hidden by her camouflage.

To protect the humans with all her might.. Just as the Princess wished, Aurora would do. Sacrificing herself for another creature’s well-being came easy for her, and she understood the command with great responsibility. She also understood, the task was a difficult one. Humans were extraordinary creatures. They were strong and weak all at the same time.

The vulnerability deemed itself the greatest threat at the moment. The jungle was only the beginning. Many things could happen in the wilderness, and the humans had minimal knowledge of what to expect. Even if they mustered all of their imagination to make predictions, they were not quite prepared for the unpredictable natures. Still, humans have been said to be quite cunning and witty. They had their own smarts about them. Her father also told her to never underestimate a human. He said this about all creatures, but he seemed to express the most concern about this particular subject when disciplining her about humans.

A slight blush painted across her cheeks as she listened to Princess Rosaria and Nuallán. Their characters towards each other were very sentimental. Sometimes, Aurora had a hard time addressing the differences in their auras when they had these types of conversations with each other. They seemed to be one, and Aurora felt the peace between them to be a genuine truth that humbled her. As opposed to making any comment, the spiritual advisor simply smiled and gave them their privacy. She had a trust in the Princess, as well. She was a wise and courageous woman, and although, her depth was shallow in comparison to Nuallán’s, she still adored it a great deal.

Vrexen had awaited his two subjects at the gates of Malthemoor. He had taken a seat on the ground, muttering to himself as he attempted to keep his mind intact. Seeing his sister had definitely pushed him very close to the edge and his run-in with Astra did not help things. He needed to viciously kill something and maybe then his lust for violence would be satiated.

His nose twitched as he picked up a familiar scent. And as he turned to face the direction of the scent, he noticed what appeared to be two large papers being carried by a breeze, except there was no breeze.

"Myra. Show yourself. You are not being pursued, so why do you remain unseen? Why hide?" Vrexen sounded rather aggressive as he got up from the ground and approached her. "Two? Gooood. Very good, Myra." He patted her head softly, but then grasped the top of her head firmly. "You have proven that you are very capable. But you must cut out your fear. You kill other creatures, yes? What makes them any different. Magic?" He released his hold and sighed. "In time shall learn. It won't until I watch you tear someone apart." It was then that Vrexen noticed one of the large papers was not a map, but some sort of painting. He narrowed his eyes, snatching it from her and holding it up.

"Mister Vrexen!" Astra called out from several feet away with a wave and a faked cheeky smile. She had a large backpack on with whatever she had gathered.

"Her. She is our guide, Myra."

Seeing Vrexen arriving from a distance, Myra silently waited, still using her camouflage as he brought an unknown dark elf with him. As he approached her, she extended the rolls of paper towards him, undoing her camouflage, as they were already far from the city. Even though Vrexen did sound a bit strange, Myra was already used to it, since for some reason, he seemed to always be on edge. Fortunately, Vrexen seemed to be satisfied for her having brought the two rolls of paper, patting her head and congratulating her for a well done job. Letting out a satisfied, proud smile, Myra accepted the head pat, until he suddenly grasped the top of her head in a firm grasp, beginning to say something about killing other creatures.

While Myra didn't really understand what he was saying, she definitely didn't like the way he was grabbing her head. She had already began trusting him a bit, but that situation served as a reminder that Vrexen was still extremely dangerous and definitely someone she shouldn't fully trust. Hissing and assuming a hostile posture, Myra used her tail to slap his hand away, jumping back as she showed her teeth and claws towards him. Most of the trust that they had built until now was immediately shattered as Myra continued watching every move from a safe distant, hissing as Vrexen took the rolls of paper that were now on the ground.

With a sharp turn of her head, Myra watched as the dark elf came close to them, calling Vrexen's name as the latter said she would be their guide. Since she was not only a dark elf, but someone Vrexen had called, she wasn't sure if she would go after her if Vrexen decided to attack her and as such, she continued watching them, in an alarmed state before giving a few steps back and using her camouflage again. While she would keep close to them, since she also needed a way to get out of the island, she would definitely watch them from a close distance.

Helio watched the blue-haired maiden ascend to the deck, his smile picking it up as quickly as it had fallen, "Just as magnificent as I told you I was!"He proclaimed with a cheeky grin. "I have been up here contemplating whether or not I want to tame a dolphin someday and name him Blubber Dog or Captain Reggie." He moved off the railing and toward her, the wood creaking with each step. His gaze searched hers as he came to stand before her, noting the emotion in her eyes. Something was eating her just as it ate him. Though his sadness and worry still lingered, he did not want it visible nor noted by the girl. It was only fair he repaid the favor and didn't question her either. "Tigerlily right? Hmm... I like Lily." He was thoughtful for a moment. This girl had given him quite the initial impression. Besides being bizarrely beautiful, he couldn't quite place why she felt familiar yet unfamiliar both at the same time if there ever was such a feeling.

"So what actually brings a pretty flower like you to a shit island like this? You're not a fairy nor an elf," Helio eyed her up and down before locking on her arm. Despite her skin looking smooth and pretty, some areas seemed to have a scaly quality to it that glittered in the sunlight. "...How enchanting." He shrugged his coat and bag off onto the ground casually as the heat of the sun beat down on them. A plain short-sleeved shirt was revealed underneath. His wings unfolded from his back and began to flutter as he levitated off the ground and crossed his legs pretzel style as if he was sitting in the air, "Tell me more."

Tigerlily listened to Helio with amusement. She knew he was faking it, but she ignored it. Bubbles of laughter escaped her as he reminisced about the dolphin. They were quite intelligent creatures and fun to swim alongside. Her heart began aching for the deep sea. She dug her nails into her hands to ignore it. ”Dolphins do make great companions; they are funny and intelligent.” Lily let a grin tug at her lips. ”Captain Reggie is a fine name.” When he called her Lily, a cheeky, almost shy, smile crossed her face. Stay present. She waited until she gathered her emotions and grinned. ”Thank you, Magnificent Helio.” Her voice was calm and confident.

Lily scowled as the sun beat down and sweat began to form on her head. She needed to change and yet she didn’t want to leave the moment. Lily sighed and tugged off her cape and hat, and set them on the ground. As he looked her up and down, Tigerlily couldn’t help but be reminded of their first meeting. She pulled off a charming and flirty grin and eyed him. It was frustrating to be so close and yet so far. Despite it, he was as handsome as ever and it was making her heart flutter. He had called her enchanting as he had in the past. She rested her hands on her sides. Damn it.

”Looking for trouble. A girl can never have too much fun.” She teased and then added "I am looking for a place to be; Roshmi is too crowded. Also, I think being on a fine vessel such as this is a wise choice.” She watched him hover in mid air with amusement. Her voice became playful and light with amusement.
”Can you guess what I am, Mr. Magnificent Helio?”

Time: 10am
Location: The ship, namely the cargo hold
Interactions: @Alivefalling Barboda @Tae Lizzie
Equipment: The clothing on his back: A unbuttoned dress shirt of the pirate-y variety, leather breeches, matte black in color, leather boots, in surprisingly good shape

Tesoro waited patiently for Barboda to hopefully react and set him free. He had plans to talking his way to some sort of freedom and charming his way to being the captain of the ship he is on. Sure, Barboda is a capable fighter and Tesoro would love to have him on his crew. However, two things. One. Tesoro assumed that between himself and Barboda, he is the superior sailor and thus would naturally be the captain. Two, there had to be more people on this ship. There are noises coming from above and the only person he has seen has been Barboda.

"Well? Oi! Mate. Let me free! Let me-" Tesoro called out to Barboda, unaware of another presence in their midst. Seeing as Barboda was not going to immediately grant him freedom, Tesoro's attention naturally shifted to the shadowy presence. Tesoro turned slightly and hung his arms outside of the cage he was in, being rather carefree about his predicament.

Leaning against the cage, Tesoro waited until Lizzie was done introducing herself and posing her question. Seeing her grin, Tesoro returned the facial gesture. "Well well well. A fellow captain. How interesting." Tesoro responded. His tone was equally as jovial yet held the same barbs. It was as if to let Lizzie know that should she free him, she might get a very capable sailing mate. Or she might find herself where Tesoro currently stood. "Willing to free me? Ha." Tesoro continued. "When I'm free, what you get in return is what I am willing to offer." Tesoro said, retracting his arms. "As it stands, I'm willing to offer this." He said as he undid the bindings around his wrist with what seemed like brute force. With his arms splayed, Tesoro took a small step forward with his arms now extending out of the cage. "Like what you see? Free me and find out what I can actually offer." Tesoro said.

With his head tilted slightly to his right, and the smirk still on his face, Tesoro leaned against the cage, waiting to see how Lizzie would react.

“Whoa… did she just vanish like those ugly lamplight fuckers?!” Astra leaned in towards where Myra vanished with awe while comparing her to a light elf. Her gaze set upon Vrexen. “I like it. Useful. Very useful. And from what I could see, she’s kind of cute too, unlike other demons I’ve seen.” She shrugged.

“Myra is useful indeed. The first of my lost brethren that I have gotten to meet. She is capable… More capable than she realizes.”

“So what I saw just a moment ago was you trying to make her realize that?” Astra raised an eyebrow and stood up straight to cross her arms at her chest. “That’s not going to work. It takes time to change a person. If you truly believe she is meant for some sort of greatness or whatever you demons aspire to be, then you gotta nurture her. It might click in a day, a week, months… years even, but you can’t force it.” Astra gave a quick nod and wink to Vrexen who simply answered with a low growl while dropping the large paper he deemed unnecessary to the ground.

“Astra. I don’t need your opinion. I need you to decipher that map and take us to where the rest of my brethren are. If you know this world as well as you claim you do, then you should be able to guide us to where we can find them, yes?” Vrexen had gotten uncomfortably close to Astra who looked away from his menacing gaze. She grabbed the map and rolled it in her hands. She had no need for it at the moment. She knew where she wanted to go. Besides, the paper that Vrexen had discarded was what she was more focused on.

“Yes… BUT, do you know what you just DROPPED on the ground? This is Master... Master Velen Marogarth’s work! This is worth… I’d have to appraise it to be sure, but this can get us a long way if we sell it to someone with even a tad bit interest in art.” Astra had grabbed the painting from the dirt and held it up to visually confirm the artist's signature. “And she stole this? Hmm. Myra, you did an excellent job, my dear. This is fucking awesome as far as I’m concerned. It’s a shame I have to roll it, but it will cost many more amas off the island. And off the island my red-faced friend is exactly where we will find more of your kind. Flower Fairy Kingdom. The land of the passionate and the naive.” Astra rolled the painting and stuffed it into her backpack before walking forward, leading the way as she had intended.

“Flower Fairy Kingdom…”

“Yes, Lord Vrexen. We get there and we’re golden. All of us.”

“All of us.”

Location: Outside Gakhumi’s Tavern - Ironhold
Interactions: Arn @Omni5876, Rue@Potter
Equipment: 1 hunting knife, a flask of alcohol, a backpack, small tent, blanket, waterskin, rope, fire starting kit, lightmaker, cooking pot, a bar of soap, some drugs; skaula (8 grams) and zemak (1 ounce), rolling papers, and 33 amas.
Loss of 100 amas for Helius ticket.

Bowyn nodded as if he understood as Rue avoided his question. He watched as Rue looked around as they walked, taking in the sights of Ironhold. Nothing here felt familiar, it was a city so unlike his village, dwarves were less friendly, the buildings were practical and felt unwelcoming, and even the weather was uninviting. Maybe that was why he liked it here, no one cared what his business was and everything was so different and jarring that served as a constant distraction. Uncomfortable was almost as useful as new pain. “It is nothing like home here, but the mountains are nice. Maybe we’ll get a good look at them from the Helius.” Bowyn said, mostly because he didn’t really know what else to say but staying quiet just made the distance feel larger.

He continued to follow Arn who offered to pay for their tickets but Bowyn shook his head at the offer. He placed a handful of coins down at the booth where one purchased tickets to board flying death traps. Allowing Arn to pay for a few drinks was one thing but he did not need to be indebted to a stranger. “Why would it be a pleasure to buy tickets for someone else? Trying to get a favor out of us in return or is throwing amas around a pastime of yours?” Bowyn asked, more mocking than suspicious. He glanced at Moony who he guessed Rue was planning on bringing with her and shrugged. It hadn’t occurred to him that dwarves might take issue with a wolf tagging along, it was never odd to see the occasional animal companion inside all sorts of places back home. “If they take issue with Moony joining us, inform them that an angry wolf and two equally annoyed fairies who could freeze certain parts of a Helius that probably shouldn’t be frozen are much more of a problem than one well-behaved wolf aboard a Helius.”

Time: 10 am
Location: Outside Sun Elf Kingdom → Jungle
Interactions: Rosaria @Potter, Sophie @princess, Caelan @Alivefalling, Nuallán @13org, Aurora @chrysocoma
Equipment: A dagger, fake elf ears, a ring of disguise, bag full of supplies, and some new schweet clothes

"Then why do you have it if you're not selling it anyway...?" Jomari's protests fell on deaf ears as the shopkeeper hid the vial of poison per the princess's orders. Seriously, don't these people want to win their war? Perhaps these elves plan on defeating their enemy with the power of love and friendship? They're such a load of tamaraw crap but there's nothing else Jomari could do but follow them, for now at least.

Rosaria led them out of the outskirts of their kingdom and into the jungle. Some of the plants here looked just like those found in his province but Jomari could still feel that they were far different than anything he'd ever known. Birds flew above the morning sky as the cries of different animals could be heard all throughout the humid jungle. For some weird reason, Jomari felt at home in this place as it reminded him of his childhood. He would always play with the kids in the forests all afternoon and they would be called in by Nanay Minda and the others to have 'merienda'. Such memory only made him homesick and miss his parental figure more. He was definitely sure he'd have an ear-twisting if Nanay Minda knew how he reacted towards the elves and other humans.

As they ventured into the green, Jomari could feel like they were being watched. Rather, only he felt like he was being watched. No doubt his interest in the vial of poison from earlier rose some red flags for the elves and decided to keep an eye on him more. Jomari just rolled his eyes and sighed exasperatedly. No matter what he did, he always felt trap wherever he went.

"What Caelan said." Jomari added. "Is there any particular beast we should be wary of? Animals or even plants that could be venomous or something like that, or are you only planning on telling us what we need to know right when danger has already arrived? Also, where exactly are we going?"

Sophie had trailed behind as they entered the jungle, her eyes widening in awe. "Ooooh..." She glanced around, mesmerized by all the sights and sounds. The humidity had hit them as if there had been a wall of it as soon as they had entered the jungle and the sounds of birds made her feel like she had entered the Amazon. She followed them forward for a short while before bending down to look at some multi-colored flowers on the ground. The petals seemed to go from a purple to yellow ombre. Glancing over her shoulder, it seemed like the others were going at a pace she would not have issue catching up to. She bent down, sliding her bag down off her back and down her arm to take out her phone.

Once she had dug it out of her bag and had it in hand, she snapped a photo of the flowers. She smiled to herself, admiring it. Then something swung into her vision. She tilted her head as she watched the little white bear chained to her bag swing back and forth. That was when she saw her: a small pixie girl that was the culprit. There was a little leaf dress on her and strange little shoes that Sophie thought were also made of leaves. Her hair was short and curly. The little red-haired pixie pushed at the bear with curiosity. Oh my gosh. It's really a little fairy. She thought to herself with excitement as she watched the wings flutter.

"I have never seen a bear my size. Why have you killed it?"

Sophie did a double-take, blinking as the small voice reached her ears. It took her a moment to reply before she shook her head, "Oh no. It is not a real bear. Somebody... crafted this." Gently, she held out her hand toward the pixie, "What's your name? I am Sophie."

The pixie glared at her hand and folded her arms. "Why craft a fake bear, Sophie!"She tried to yell, but it came out quite soft in reality to Sophie's ears.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean for it to upset you... but maybe I can give you something to make up for it."
Sophie said thoughtfully and pondered for only a moment before rummaging again through her bag. Finally, she took out her box of pocky and took out one. She broke off a piece of it and gently offered it toward the pixie.

The pixie pouted and glared at the strange pink substance being offered toward her. "You are trying to poison me to put me on the chain with the bear."She accused. She stuck her tongue out and looked away stubbornly.

Sophie giggled. She's like a little Tinkerbell. She wondered why this small woman was all alone. In fact, for all the noises she had heard, she hadn't really seen too many creatures upon entering the jungle at all and Sophie had been on a diligent lookout from the moment she had entered. "Look." Sophie bit a piece herself and the pixie's irises reluctantly swayed in her direction, her arms still folded.

"Hm well fine! It does smell nice." The pixie grabbed the piece once Sophie once again outstretched it and bit into it aggressively.
Her expression lit up as she had dined on the finest meal she had ever had. Hastily, she began eating more as she had a vengeance against it. "I demand more!"

"Guess what you are?"Helio repeated playfully, raising a brow. She had been giving him flirty grin as she spoke that he was all too familiar with. He knew girls were usually quick to admire him, however, this woman was mysterious and secretive. She obviously wasn't willing to give him a lot of information. Additionally, he did not get the impression she was some girl who just flirted with any pretty boy she met. He had to wonder if she had an ulterior motive here. He did not ponder things too long and immediately snapped his fingers. He had a gut feeling just of what she was. "My guess is merfolk. You are a siren who likes to play with the hearts of silly men of the land like me." He watched her expression to get a read if he was right, pointing accusingly, "I won't fall for it you sea-succubus! I have fallen for the charms of Port Vanarosa women enough."

The burst of wind had truly surprised Raven and it seemed like she wasn’t the only one. It had thrown the troll off for long enough for Annya to strike. Next thing she knew she was flying through the air before impacting something or someone, as it seemed. The breath was knocked out of her for a moment as she glanced at Annya, trying to pull herself off of the woman. She proceeded to watch as the elven woman called her axe back to her with what had to be magic. She stared in mild awe before realizing she should probably back up.

Before she could move she felt someone dragging her backwards. For a brief second she thought it was another troll and yelled out, wiggling in panic. She then felt...heat? Man it kind of burned. ”Ow! Let go! Let go!” She yelled as she looked up to see Saoirse. The girl let her go and Raven was quickly patting at the back of her arms, convinced her clothing was on fire now. When she was satisfied it wasn’t, she glanced back at Shae, but actually staring at the sparks around her wrists. It took her a second to register that the girl had asked her a question. ”Uh yeah, I’m alright I think.” She said as she pulled herself off of the ground.

Shae then asked if she could climb and Raven now looked at Shae’s face in confusion. She was about to tell her she didn’t like the idea of it when Ismael seemed to interject, having the same thoughts as Raven. ”Yeah I agree, I’d rather be a moving target than a stationary one in a tree. Besides I’m pretty sure those things are using trees as clubs. I wouldn’t like to be on the swinging end of their next weapon.” She agreed, briefly glancing over at the battle and wondering if the two trolls would be distracted for long enough to try and stealth. She then briefly wondered what her stealth modifier would be and what these trolls' passive perception was. ”For now I think I’m just gonna retreat into the shadows a bit, keep my wits about me, and let those that know how to handle these things do so. If I tried to help or anything I’d just be in the way and put others at risk.” She said as she began to move, deciding to try and pull Saoirse with her.

She then leaned in to speak to the woman quietly. ”Uh, have you taken a look at your wrists lately?” She asked, wondering if the girl had noticed the sparks too. By the looks of it, Raven would guess that Saoirse had fire and it scared her a little. That could be a very deadly power and she could kill them all quickly if she lost control. Or she could set the entire jungle on fire. That wouldn’t be a good thing at all.

Rue

Time: Morning
Location: Outside Gakhumi’s Tavern - Ironhold Helius Landing Dock
Interaction: @Helo Bowyn & @Omni5876 Arn
Equipment: Small backpack, two knives, rations, water flask, hygiene products

Rue broke out of her reverie when Bowyn spoke and looked at him. Rue nodded in agreement and smiled. ”I hope so. Maybe they’ll have snow on them!” She then added with a bit of homesickness, ”I really miss the snow.” When they approached the Helius, Rue felt excitement rise. They were on their way to River Port to meet up with Princess Annya. Her mission was finally starting to come to light. She couldn’t wait to arrive and find the other rebels and humans! Although she was excited, she didn’t enjoy feeling trapped and unable to escape with Moony and also Bowyn. Plus, the Helius was crowded too and she felt awkward amongst the dwarves. She wanted to try not to worry, so Rue distracted herself. ”I'm excited to get to the Port. Should be exciting to meet the others. I want to talk to you alone as well." Rue whispered to Bowyn and shot him an enthusiastic smile.

Next Arn offered to pay their tickets, which Bowyn quickly rejected. His mocking response made her giggle on the inside although she hid it from Arn. After a moment, Rue replied, "Wow, that’s really nice of you, but I will buy my own.” Her intuition told her to think about this. She had an uncomfortable feeling about it. Kindness was great until it was used for nefarious reasons. Was there an ulterior motive? Rue decided to ask Bowyn later.

After the tickets were bought, Arn mentioned being uncertain if Moony could come. Rue blanched at the idea of not having her wolf with her. Being separated from Moony would be devastating. It hadn’t crossed her mind that she may not be allowed to have him with her. She quickly gripped Moonlight to her side like a vice grip as her hands dug into his fur. This begged the question: would they deny Moonlight? Since she had arrived in Ironhold, the dwarves had been polite and considerate. Rue couldn’t understand the issue. ”They didn’t have a problem when I arrived here. Why would they have a problem now?” She frowned at the idea and shook her head at the blasphemous idea. Rue held her ticket up as evidence, ”As long as I bought one of these, we should be fine. Like Bowyn said, he’s well behaved. There isn't any need to freeze parts of the Helius, either.” Rue then waited for their responses and kept a tight grip on Moonlight as an indication they would not be separated.
