@Xaltwind Oi, I just took a second look at the "tier list," and realized I got Adept and Expert swapped around. Is it cool if I give Aki's swordsmanship and jujutsu the ol' switcheroo?
Yeah, no problemo. If you wanted to avoid AI artwork, I’d recommend going to either safebooru or danbooru instead. Much more robust tags at play and includes properly sourced images in most cases.

Of course, it’s purely anime art there.
I have nothing directly against AI art, per se, but it was disheartening to see 99% of searches on google, deviantart, and pintrest all result in AI slop. Even worse when some folks were selling them.
Height: 6 ft, 1.8 meters Eye Color: Green Hair Color: Red
Description: Her hair reaches to her mid-back. Her figure is tall and svelte.
Personality: Alastrina is exuberant, curious about life and eager to see the world. She also likes getting to know people and being helpful though her impulsiveness can lead to problems as well as the ways that she's a bit, dense about common facts of life. Those traits can make her seem dim-witted, but she can hold her own in a fight and does try consider the best course of action in the situations she finds herself in.
Quirks: - She sometimes acts out stories in her head when she thinks she's alone, most of them involving her as a hero in some form. - She'll slip into her native elvish at times when she's frustrated or panicking. Or when singing old songs. - She's extremely picky. She likes potato, but hates turnips, for instance. I'll list them down as they come up in game.
Brief History: For as long as Alastrina (Alice for short) can remember, she's always been fascinated with stories; tales of heroes conquering evil foes, ballads of maidens and knights falling in love, fairy tales and fables of the dangers of the world, stories of all sorts. Between her schooling, magical studies, and sword training then, she read all the stories she could or listened to the visiting bards. She wished she could be a hero like those within those stories.
In her culture, when one comes of age, they are given a time alone to meditate reflect on what their lifelong quest will be. While undergoing the meditation, she found herself receiving a vision of a specific place; far from home and abandoned but calling her like one of its own. And so, she decided her quest would be to find that place and become it's hero. And so she made her preparations, said farewell to her family, and set out. She wandered for a year, taking on tasks as she could to support herself and learning the ways of the outside world. But finally, she has found the place that she was called to. Now to see what stories for her it will have in store.
-- Skills/Spells, Stats & Items ---
Occupation: Adventuress
Social Status: Sellsword
Skills: - Light/Holy Magic (Adept): Can wield staves/wands and learn tomes of Adept-level light magic. Can also cast light spells up to Adept-level. - Swordfighting (Expert): Wields her sword extremely well. Moves like a bee with her sword as a stinger. She is a match for another of her skill or several lower-skilled foes. But she has to get creative if several should grow to more. - Scholarship (Apprentice): She can read and write in both common and her native current elvish. She cannot read and write old elvish, but she would have an easier time working it out than others.
Spells: - Basic Healing, Light (Apprentice): Heals a injury at a touch. The more serious the injury, the more magical energy needs to be expanded to heal it. Can only focus on one injury at a time. - Light, Light (Novice): Creates a small light just above the caster's fingertip. Useful for lighting a dark room or suddenly blinding enemies.

Dafuq you people do to my thread while I slept and go to work!? I come home and SOMEHOW there's 21 new posts... AND THIS IS JUST AN INTEREST CHECK!
Blaarrgh.... Fine, I'll get to chew through all of this...
@Expendable, @Remram, @Dragonydas I said it earlier and I'll say it again. I've set the max number of players I want in the RP, at any given time, to be 8. If there are more interested parties than there's room for, and more submitted and finished CS'es than the cast limit can take, then I'll have to go and be selective and use personal preference and judgement to decide who I believe will "fit" the best into the story. As of now, the OOC isn't even up and there're still people making CS'es, so there's nothing stopping you from applying.
Just know that just because you make a CS doesn't necessarily mean you'll get in. I've counted that we've got at least 10 people in this thread at the moment (not counting me), so if everyone's looking for a spot, sad tos ay that some of you will have to be put on a waiting list.
Them's the breaks, I'm afraid. I sadly am not a very competent GM and I don't handle large groups of people well, in terms of management and keeping track of things.
@ERode Miner Treasure Hunter teen looks fine and dandy to me.
@LupusIntus Spoony bard is spoony and bard, but looks fine otherwise.
@Crowvette You can play any character and have any skills (or complete lack thereof) you want - so long as you're not some kinda overpowered shounen protagonist who can break dragons over their knee, fly and shoot fireballs from their buttcrack. You wanna be a salty archmage who's not good at anything but magic? Go for it. You wanna be an alchemist who can actually benefit the town by making medicines and potions? Go ahead. You wanna be a farmer who believes he's an archmage but can't actually do magic? Sounds fine to me.
@Zeroth Go ahead and swap 'em around if you want, not like the IC's started or anything. :P I think that's everyone and everything I needed to address. But if I missed someone or soemthing, do let me know.
Now back to working on that OOC which I'm totaltly not feeling pressured to get up because SUDDENLY a HUGE group of people just roll on in and start hanging around my apartment, eating my snacks and fiddling with my stereo. Yeah, no, it's cool guys, I totally said "close but casual", but hey, large and loud works too... *Grumble*

AH. Now you know how I feel <.<
Quick question though. In the stamina section, you mention stamina potions. Does this mean that technicaly an alchemist / herbologist character would be possible? Someone that makes potions and remedies.

Look on the bright side! It just means you're such a great DM who comes up with such great ideas that EVERYBODY wants to be part of it! Just look at them all! *gestures over the balcony towards the frothing, savage masses filling the streets and hanging from rooftops, all fighting to climb over one another*

Yeah, but when it happens to you it's funny. When it happens to me it's an outrage! D:
But to answer your question:
Of course you can make an alchemist! One of my planned NPCs was going to be one, if nobody took that role. You can definitely be a potion-brewer who makes off-brand Red Bull, Healing Pots, Sleep Powder, Smokebombs and whatever else your lil' brain can think up. :)
I sadly am not a very competent GM and I don't handle large groups of people well, in terms of management and keeping track of things.
I have co-gm'd before, and it went rather well. Dark Cloud's Ocarina of Time RP from what must be years back. Being the lead is a little more demanding, but if it's a supporting role, I'm strong.
I'd be interested. Can there be some ghostly stuff going on?
That depends on what your definition of "ghostly stuff" is. We got a sword who gained a soul and the ability to talk after lounging around on a display rack for 100+ years. So that's a tihing.
If you're going more for the: "I can see the dead and communicate with them" Then no. Because that'd make them undead. And undead are monsters. And monsters are bad. For non-monsters, that is.
