Cause she knows there is always more where that came from. No use crying over spilled milk, but telling Miyuki that would be grounds for instant bone rearrangement.

I mean, nothing is stopping anyone from eating it.

Since everyone here is immortal, the worst that can happen is a mild upset stomach.

That or the cleaner-slimes won't be going hungry.

Miyuki and Yumeiko aren't immortal, they're just not afflicted by death due to age. They can still very much die though, from a number of reasons that include, but aren't limited to:

- Violence
- Starvation
- Suffocation
- Dehydration
- Blunt force trauma
- Decapitation
- Bloodloss
- Truck-kun
- Explosions
- Magic
- Exorcism (Though this likely only appplies to Miyuki and not Yumeiko, as the latter is a divine fox and not technically a 'yooukai')
- Impalement

Dragons aren't immortal, they're just very long lived. They're also not so vulnerable to knights waving lances on horseback.

You shouldn't eat too much canned food. I hear you can get all sorts or issues if you get too much of that tin or other heavy metal in yer system.

I apologize for my absence, @dragonydas. Had a big cross-country move dominate most of my life the past month and didnt pull the motivation towards keeping up with the story here. Not dead, not gone, just distracted. Will read up and try to get Max going again tonight/tomorrow!
