A whistle of admiration was vocalized by Mizar in the presence of the unexpected guest’s crips bow. Now that wasn’t just some ordinary too-damn-lazy-to-bend-over-my-chubby--wubby-belly bow, no, no, that was something far more refined. Affluent more like. As if Akio was raised in the arts of cordial mannerism, and by the looks of it that wasn’t too falsifiable of an assumption. Styx gave the regulars arrived with the outsider a quick wave. He followed the older Oni’s path out of the corner of his eye and felt a wave of relief rush over him as she accepted the anonymous donation. Meanwhile, Yuina proceeded to engulf an apple while gingerly drowsing Seth with sultry words laced with anthrax. Mizar and Styx watched from the safety of the sidelines as her toothed extremity practically inhale the apple whole. The two then anxiously turned their vision over to Alcor, who was of a similar shade of rouge to the late apple, which died a valiant death in the war against dietary unfulfillment.
At a glance one would surmise that Akio was in a state of disarray. But under deeper scrutinization, one that delves past the fleshy depths, Styx concluded that the kid was actually handling the experience quite well, albeit the fact that it essentially tore apart every fundamental he was raised with. His mouth hidden behind his surgical mask curved into a faint smile at the state of his soul. The lost individual was coping better than he had when he first arrived at the Imaginary District. Then again he was only able to toil in disbelief for a few minutes before somebody ended up kicking the bucket.
But enough of that, it was mission time. Styx listened attentively as Makiko, being the assertive kind of person she always has been, regarded every development that had transpired within the room in a succinct and curt fashion. She effortlessly captured every member’s attention and made sure they hung onto every single syllable that left her stoic complexion of hers. At this point the Ankou had rested his elbows on the couch and propped up his chin with frigid palms. Both of the provided operations sounded equally cogent. Angered spirits were pretty much his forte and sounded like his go-to choice, but taking part in kitty recovery would allow him to detox after his aforementioned run in. Seth was the first to voice his bearing and solicited a position in the latter team. Styx tried his best to not fall behind. ”I could go for either to be frank.” He chimed in, leaning over the couch entirely to take up the gap between Yuina and Seth. The Ankou cuffed a hand over the mask and subtle whispered to the flyboy, ”Dude. Run.” Yet since it was his cerulean familiar who transmitted his thoughts, the piece of advice was audible to the entire organization.
”Dealing with spirits whose NaCl content is a tad bit high is my specialty, but embarking on a quest for the elusive feline doesn’t sound like a bad choice either. But I do have a couple recommendations…” His golden gaze fell onto the young brunet, still in the midst of grasping his surroundings, ”Put Akio on the cat team. He can make himself useful while we set up his return policy and he can get a tour of the city in the meantime, it’s killing two birds with one stone! Oughta carpe the hell out of that diem. Also chuck Tessai in there too, since, y’know, cats.” He jabbed a finger at the guy whose existence was basically synonymous with felines before standing upright, ”Put me wherever you see fit, Boss.”
