Death.

Whether it be by fire, gun or old age, everyone will die once in their lifetime. To some, death may be considered a foreign concept; to others, commonplace. Still, no matter how one considers death, when the thread of life is cut, so to does the hopes and desires of the deceased, but many believe the soul lives on. Whether this means wandering an eternity in hell or enjoying a peaceful afterlife in some heaven, the soul, or otherwise, the core leaves the body for another place while the shell rots in the ground.

Yet, what happens to those judged unfairly by life and its reality? What about those who were loyal until the end, only to wilt in despair or be crushed by betrayal? Or, what about the ones who faltered under the pressure of an impossible foe? The unlucky few, whose souls are left in angst as their lifeblood was stolen from them. By pure right, they should be irate that the inequitable gods that watch over their world had cast them aside. Some may have been followers, while others were not, but the fate was all the same: a cold death.

Luckily, their voices had been heard, but by one so foreign. Whisked away to the unknown, these souls awake in a distant city in a world unsung--no, a world of infinite possibilities. Humanoid birds and faeries take to the skies, while centaurs and humans with feline traits walk the streets. An occasional human passes by, some with swords and others practicing street magic, shooting actual flame or other magic bolts from their fingertips.

Death has brought you a second chance to live as you should have. Will you take the plunge, hero, or will you let your fate get the best of you?

The sun was shining, and the friendly chatter of others could be heard for miles. It is a perfect day, Willow thought as she sipped freshly brewed tea. A perfect day for the new arrivals to begin anew. Like many of the guild staff, Willow had notice of the large arrival of lost souls--deceased spirits troubled by Lady Luck herself. Normally, only one or two would show up at a time, but this batch had been numerous. Pondering over what terrible fates that these souls might have suffered brought a shudder to Willow, and she set her tea down lest it be spilled by a shiver.

A glance at the clock--ticking away thanks to a magical core--had revealed that it was almost time to welcome the newcomers. Standing from her desk, Willow walked over towards a mirror, and adjusted the red bow tie that had been clasped around her neck. If Willow was to introduce these new folk to the world of Alcone, then it was best to be dressed for the job. Giving herself a thumbs-up in the mirror, Willow made haste to the door of the guild's building. In a few minutes, they would all be standing by the door, looking confused as to why they might have wings, pointy ears or even be an entirely different species.

The clock struck, and Willow felt a magical impulse throughout her body.
It's time, The staff head thought, reaching for the large door handle. Yanking both doors open with as much strength as she could offer, WIllow received the newly formed crowd with a large gleaming smile on her face, her eyes taking note of all who might be there. "Welcome! I am Willow, the head of the guild's operations. Come, come, there is much to discuss, especially with the odd expressions you're giving me." Willow explained, bowing her head as she ushered everyone inside, and then to an empty foyer with many table benches, like those one would see at a picnic. If one wanted, a few various beverages rested on the tables, acting as potential refreshments.

Saying Mark was a unhappy camper was an understatement, he was pissed beyond belief! An angry frown was carved into his face as he rolled his unlit cigarette around in his mouth and glanced around his new surroundings with annoyance. Everything looked like a geeky nerds wet fever dream. Creatures of different races filled every inch of his vision, some short and tall, hairy or furless, a few human like people had animal ears or tails and- IS THAT A FREAKING BIRD MAN!? Mark groaned in frustration as he continued to follow the stranger that greeted him at the entrance of the building. As they went deeper into the building his confusion only grew larger and fueled his increasing annoyance of his current situation. He tightened his grip on his new sheathed sword and kept his iron shield close to his side in case he needed to use it. As far as he was concerned, nothing was to be trusted.

Soon they had reached an opening filled with several tables that had been prepared for a small get together of sorts. The stranger gestured for Mark to take a seat and slowly he complied while keeping a weary eye on her. He took a seat in the corner of the room and made sure his eyes never stopped scanning the room for any dangers, or maybe even some answers as to what was going on. After rolling his cigarette in his mouth again he placed his shield onto the table and dug around into his pocket to retrieve his beloved flip lighter. With a clink a flame came to life and served its purpose to light Marks cigarette. Mark inhaled a wave of smoke into his lungs and with a quick flip of his wrist he killed the flame from his lighter. After a few seconds of letting the chemicals float within his body he emptied them from his lungs and sighed. "First I'm dying from a buckshot to the gut, now I'm stuck in fairytale land. Lady luck, why do you hate me you bitch?" he mumbled with a dull chuckle and shook his head. "Whatever, lets just go with it for now," with that he stayed close to the corner with his grip on his sword never faltering, not even for a second.

Olive's head was fuzzy. Strange scents filled her nose, and even stranger folks were around her. As hard as she tried, she couldn't seem to remember where she was or why. She looked to her left and saw someone in some kind of cat costume. A convention? No, she didn't remember going to one. To her right, someone was in a centaur-like costume. Or...was that a real horse with..?

A voice called out from the front of the room. "Welcome!" Olive immediately snapped to attention, peering well over most of the others in the crowd. "I am Willow, the head of the guild's operations. Come, come, there is much to discuss, especially with the odd expressions you're giving me." Olive chewed on her lower lip for a moment, then simply continued forward as instructed. That Willow lady seemed to know more than she did.

As she was led into the larger room, she spotted the beverage table, and carefully picked out a glass of something that didn't bubble and didn't smell funny. Her reflection stared back. She looked...different, somehow. Suddenly, memories came flooding back. Her eyes went wide, and she hurriedly set the glass back on the table, a bit of the liquid sloshing out of it. She snapped her attention back to Willow.

Skyler glanced around, mouth wide in disbelief. This couldn't be real! Elves, a bird person, and - His back twinged and he heard a flutter. Looking over his shoulders, he froze. Where those-? Holy, yes he had wings! He spun around like a dog chasing his tail and tried fluttering them. He hovered for a brief moment and nearly tripped on the landing. Grinning like a ten year old on their birthday, he hopped and tried again. He got higher. And promptly hit the ground as his wings gave out. The woman, Willow, startled him as he picked himself up. This was going to take some getting used to! This was wilder than anything he had heard death could be like.

He followed the group into the building, nothing jumping out to clarify the situation. Though did it really matter? He could fly! How cool was that. They reached a room filled with picnic tables and one of the group broke off to- His nose twitched. Was that... He followed the smell to one of the drinks steaming on the table and snatched it up. Coffee. The only thing that could make remembering you just died any better. And woke up with wings. Its hard to top that. Lucas settled down at the table, pulling out the journal he had made notes in during his time gardening. His memory of it was hazy but he'd apparently taken plenty of notes. His wings fluttered periodically as he flipped through, content to wait for someone to fill him in on what exactly was going on.

Jessica casually looked around the small gathering of people and wasn't at all phased by the body part potpourri going on. She recalled the time her friend Josh dared her to drink a liter of cough syrup and everyone turned into a smurf for six hours. The hallucinations would settle down in time, and all that was left to do was blend in. A courteous voice derailed her train of thought, which was heading to the "repressed memories" station before taking a quick stop at "monster truck name ideas".

"Welcome! I am Willow, the head of the guild's operations. Come, come, there is much to discuss, especially with the odd expressions you're giving me."

The blonde energetically entered the building and began to survey the area. A skyscraper-sized elf, a guy with a sword and a fairy were seated on some lovely benches. The former two looked too cautious to get beverages, which made Jessica giddy with greed until she realized that all her options were traditional. She rolled her shoulders and stretched her arms a bit before exclaiming "Man this totally sucks, there's no mountain dew here." She gazed venomously at the teapots that were near her. Ugh, leaf water.

Ysran stood in the shadows of the room. He watched as strange people walked around and in-and-out. Strange mythological creatures. Elves, some sort of bird man, a centaur, how strange. Fortunately, Ysran was up to date on his mythology, and was able to identify these creatures. There was, of course, the issue of magic. Judging by the sudden Arcane knowledge he had, he could obviously cast them. But how? He raised his arm and opened his hand. Nothing. He tried to focus his mental attention to his hand. Nothing. He closed his eyes and let his arm fall back to his side. He intently focused on his knowledge. He could cast two spells. Eldritch Blast, and Fishscales. But how? Fishscales would probably be easier to cast. Perhaps... an incantation is needed? "Aboaperi en zodume" and as if on queue, scales began to form around his hand, and up his arm. "Stop." On command, they stopped, and receded into the aether. Well, looks like English works. How convenient.

He stepped out of the shadows and towards a table everyone seemed to be sitting at. He picked a random spot. He didn't know these people, and likely wouldn't anytime soon. The was a drink in front of him. It smelled... fruity, like juice. He decided to take a sip. It was sweet and sugary, yet unidentifiable. The taste was unfamiliar to him. He decided to sit back in his chair and watch the events of today unfold.

Forrest Brian Idland

Forrest caressed his scalp and shielded his eyes from the sun's rays. "Well, isn't this odd," he commented. His head turned and tilted as he viewed his surroundings. No doubt, Forrest wasn't in any normal reality. Everything around him was queer and stripped off of a fantastical novel. The teenager put his hand down; he chose to look directly at the sun a few seconds.

As a response, he closed his eyes and brought his hand immediately back up. A small headache began to form resulting from the idiotic decision. Opening his eyes with his hand over them, he started to ponder. "Hmm, I have a headache from staring at the sun. Yeah, this definitely isn't a dream." THe vision in his eyes adjusted and he suddenly noticed the pigment on his hand.

"I'm a smurf now..." His voice trailed off when he couldn't believe the alterations to his body. Stretching out his bangs, he noticed his hair wasn't red anymore. Forrest sucked the air out of teeth and listened to the woman talking. She spoke confidently which demonstrated her familiarity with "this" fantasy setting.

Forrest then analyzed everyone else in the crowd. Their expressions were the same as his. Others were aggravated while others embraced their new image. His new pointy ears perked up when they heard a man curse out loud. "How charming," Forrest retorted. Everyone else appeared to be just as weird or even weirder than Forrest. The only noticeable characteristics about himself were probably his skin complexion; the ears, on the other hand, were cute.

Forrest sighed and wondered what this all meant. A smile formed on his face deciding that positivity was the best course mood for this situation."Heh," he snickered. "I always wanted to visit Comic Con." Shaking his head, he approached the table benches and slipped his body next to another elven individual with wooden glasses.

Staring into the cup, he twirled the beverage with his finger. "You know, I heard about this one person that arranged a costume party. That person then pushed red Kool-Aid on everyone. I just hope that "this" isn't one of those parties," he joked. Forrest put his finger into his mouth and tasted the substance.

Aear stood in the crowd, full of amazement and wonder looking over all the creatures that stood before them. They reached up and slowly felt their ears with trembling hands as if afraid that the dream they'd so desperately wanted was a farce but there they were, the two grooves dividing their ears making them have a tri-point symbolizing their aquatic elf nature. This is really happening! Oh my gosh it's actually happening!
Who do I thank? Do I apologize for being an atheist? Wait do i now worship Poseodon? Is he even part of here?
Aear was giddy with excitement and full to curiosity for this new world they have been blessed upon.

They moved forward through the crowd examining each person they passed. A fairy! Oh oooh oh a Centaur! A-and and a Birdman! Some elves!
This is way too cool!
They reached the big doors and gazed upon them slowly reaching to touch them, almost crying from you and excitement. Maybe now...I'll belong Aear began to feel the ornate doors, methodically running their fingers over every grove, crevice and bump taking it all in. They rest their head against the center where the two doors meet with their left hand placed on the door. A new beginning. New places to explore and creatures to see and study...and magic *gasp* Just as soon as a tear began to form there was a sudden Jolt and suddenly there wasn't a door there to rest on. *THUD!* Aear had fallen straight onto the floor as the doors were opened and gave way to them. "Welcome! I am Willow, the head of the guild's operations. Come, come, there is much to discuss, especially with the odd expressions you're giving me." It's A pleasure to meet your aquaintance They managed to mumbled out voice muffled by the floor pressed against their face. Aear stood up and brushed themselves off watching as everyone meandered in finding a place at a table whilst acquiring drinks as well.

Let's see, let's see They scanned the room looking for where and who they'd like to sit next to and that's when he saw him. A fairly normal human looking man sitting there lighting a smoke. Quickly Aear began to get irked Doesnt he know that'll kill him?! O I should just put it out for him... the thought faded into the background as they came to the realization they're already deceased does it even matter? They pushed such thoughts aside and began to look amd smell around for a beverage that smelled the most sickly sweet and found one that seemed to do the trick. The taste of sweet honey along with a few notes unrecognizable to them filled their tongue and made them feel warm amd cozy. There's no way...this drink is beyond measure! I think I shall find my place here yet so long as I listen to here Aear smiles at Willow and intently listens to every word as if law.

While most seemed to be having a rather..."peaceful" awakening into this new world, Christopher did not. Sitting up from the dirt in a cold sweat, he struggled to fill his lungs. He tried to steady himself, laying his head against one knee. What had just happened? Some kind of nightmare? He couldnt be sure. He grumbled, finally taking a look about.

"What...the hell?" This wasnt his room...wasnt his bed...hell this wasnt even his city. His breathing was finally finding its rhythm, and this was only more unsettling. He hadnt been able to breath without a respirator for months...and now... A deep breath filled his lungs. The sweet smell of the wind, without a hint of chemicals in the air. The doctors had said he would never breath properly again, so how could he..?

Christopher quickly checked himself over, examining his skin, his body, and finding it near perfect... he was healed! How could this just... His eyes fell on those who woke with him, and he was in awe. They werent...normal. they looked like they walked out of one of his videogames! But that wasnt possible. Neither was healing like he had. Even his ears had been healed...for the modt part...why was one pointed?

Why was he questioning this?! Quickly standing, he shifted uneasily, but nodded. This was indeed incredible. And it seemed the others, atleast most of them, were having a similar reaction. So he wasnt alone.

Having heard the stray mumblings of the group, someone finally spoke up. A women, having introduced herself as "Willow". Well, atleast she seemed to know something about all this. She quickly invited them to follow, and lead them to what appeared to be a cafeteria, or dining hall. Upon seeing the beverages left for them, Christopher only then realized how parched he really was. He quickly found a cup with what he assumed, and hoped, was simple water, taking a small sip. He remained standing, not quite ready to accept all this. He was half tempted to chalk this up to a simple dream, brought on by the morphine. But everyhing felt so right...so he would give things a chance...

Keido Swiftwing took stock of the crowd, making note of every different race he saw. Several elves, a few that retained their humanity, and... was that a centaur? Maybe he wasn't the weirdest one there, but he was certainly up there as an attention-getter. He'd already gotten several strange looks that he had passed off as curiosity, though he didn't necessarily mind them. A man covered in feathers that stood just over 5'00" with wings more than triple his height was something to behold. He took several moments to examine the new wings on his back with some combination of admiration and curiosity, wondering just how it was he was transformed from a human to... this. There was some serious magic at work, for sure.

His focus on himself was broken by the opening of the doors before the group, in which a larger woman stood. She apparently was named Willow, and had the answers they were collectively looking for, so the bird followed her into the massive hall. While they walked, Keido strode up beside a blonde man with a lot of red on his person, and armor only seeming to be in the most important places. Definitely someone built for speedy combat, though the sword on his hip was no joke, looking both beautiful and deadly, a far cry from the half of a matched pair that sat on his lower back. Proximity closed, he asked a simple question. "What do you think about all this, friend?" He broke off from him upon arrival to the foyer, keen eyes focusing in on several tea kettles off to the side.

Without hesitation, he made his way over to them and took hold of one, satisfied that it was still hot. With his free hand he found himself a cup, which was soon filled with his beverage of choice. Refreshments procured, the bird-man proceeded to the bench across from the Dark Elf and sat. He then took a sip of his tea, or rather tried to. Lips newly replaced with a beak, part of the drink slipped down and burned his throat while the rest managed to pour down his front. He lurched forward on reflex, setting the cup down as he picked a napkin off of the table in front of him and setting to drying himself off. On the bright side, the tea was good.

An ominous presence had filled his soul.

It existed in every people’s mind, yet only a few managed to witness its magnificence.

Legends said that only those shuddered by the current of time could see it. Those poor souls that were left in angst as blood and pain consumed them.

It is a promise of freedom

A glimpse of new world

A light stretching into oblivion

A shadow within mortal hearts

And once its sight met the eyes, one wish, deep within their souls, was fulfilled. One that brought them in front of its powerful presence.

Life…

Class: Dragoon

Hans Joachim

“Hmmgghh-uuaahh”

Hans’s head wasn’t in its good state as he groaned. There were things that were amissed in his memories. It took him a few minutes to find it back. As his senses began to come online, once more, when he thought it never would, so was his memories.

’Oh yeah…’

The boy instantly shot his hand up, reaching for his nape. It was in contact with the ground, and in one piece. Apparently, he was lying on the ground, judging by the pressure applying on his back. The sun was radiating into his pale skin, the birds chirping, the wind blowing through each of his hair strands, as an ease and gentle way to wake up the young boy. His hearings became more and more clearly, and then his muscles began to move. The sound of people talking, the smell of lilacs somewhere around him. And then finally, Hans’s eyes shot open. To see the new world for the first time

”Hmmggh…is this my city?…No…”

He was still confused. Glancing around, to his surprise, he came to realize that some of the people around him weren’t human. There was a centaur of some kind, an elve, and even a birdman. Well, there were still humans in this place, but who knows if behind those human masks were some kind of angels, demons, wyverns or goats. Both physically and mentally.

Hans immediately checked himself, to see if he’d turned to some sort of wolfman or anything of the sort. It did not appear to apply to him, thankfully. And it appeared that he was given quite some items. A sword, a knife and armor. A voice suddenly interrupted his thoughts. A woman introduced herself as Willow, and invited him, and those around him who were as baffled as he did to some sort of picnic table. She also mentioned guild. Is this some sort of RPG game? But it did not really make sense. He remembered almost everything, everything up until the point when he saw that ominous thing. He remembered the split second when his neck snapped. He remembered that he…died. Then was this all a dream? Well, he’d find out soon.

As he ventured inside, he was met by that birdman he saw earlier, asking his thoughts on the subject.

”This? It was not bad, but I require an explanation. A clear one.”

Totally better than something like a prison or a claustrophobic room. That was usually the case when you wake up in an unfamiliar place, as seen in some movies. But they had a point when they said not to believe things like that.

Hans approached the table with some beverages offered to him. There weren’t anything in particular that did not suit his taste here, or in general, being the athlete he was. The only exception would be alcoholic drinks. The boy picked up the nearest drink there, which was green tea, while he tried to discover new functions of his new body. For some reasons, in his mind existed a new knowledge, a spell. Known to him as a speed enhancing spell, or simply by the self-explanatory name: ‘Overboost’. How convenient, given how he was already much faster than his peers back then. If this was some sort of game, then this might be his biggest strength.

The party sat down within the various tables that were presented for them. Some touched the drinks, while the rest chatted among themselves, or in the case of one peculiar fellow, smoked a cigarette. Hesitance and confusion still lied within the crowd, and Willow stood before them, ready to explain. "I know this may sound confusing, even outright a lie. It was hard for me to fathom that I had died and was given another chance, just as you all have been given." Willow explained, and as if on queue, she clicked her fingers. Soon, images manifested out of bluish arcane light, each one showing how their ends came to be.

"Some of you may have already remembered the unfortunate events that brought your end, but while there is nothing that can change the past, there is much that can change the future." Willow went on to explain. Energetically clapping her hands together, the staff head smiled to those seated in front of her. It may have been wrong to smile when talking about death, but a friendly approach was needed to get across what might have sounded to be the impossible. Listening to Willow was the hard part, but casting her aside as insane? That was easier than stealing candy from a baby.

"Your souls, spirits, whatever terminology you would use to describe a person of the afterlife... they have been allowed to live on in this world. A world to live out your wildest dreams after death took your lives at such an early age." Willow snapped her fingers again, and this time the magical screens shifted to various sights of Alcone. Some were of the city, while others were of adventurers fighting epic battles. "Perhaps you remember playing as knights or heroes as a child. The world of Alcone has infinite possibilities, and now, you can live out those childhood days as a reality." Willow spoke, alluding to the various spells the party knew and the equipment they had, such as their swords, shields or even their bows.

Before anyone had any crazy ideas, Willow rose a finger, shaking it at the crowd. A second later, a blue mist formed in her hand, presenting a finely crafted dagger.
"However, before you get ahead of yourselves, death is still a reality in this world. If I took this blade and desired to stab one of you with it, whoever was on the receiving end would be in a lot of pain. If it was enough to kill whoever was stabbed, then they would die, but if it was someone of your nature, they would simply turn up back at the city, unless you used a resurrection spell." With the knife no longer needed, Willow let the knife disappear in to a puff of bluish smoke, returning to where it once came.

"I'm sure none of you would want to die again, especially having already lived the cold experience once in your past. That's where we, the Adventurer's Guild, step in. People like me are here to help you become well-known adventurers by providing help along the way, and to put you all on the right track. Of course, we'll have to induct each one of you into our organization, but before we move on, do any of you have questions?" Willow asked, pausing her speech as she placed her hands behind her back, watching the party expectantly for any confusion that she could easily answer.

Mark simply stared at Willow with an emotionless look and repeatedly drummed his fingers on the tables surface. After a few seconds of silence he gave a low chuckled and shook his head before bursting into a fit of laughter. He may have gotten a few looks, but damn them! Damn them all! This was to rich, this had to be fake! After calming himself down he clear any tears from his eyes and looked to Willow. "What kind of drugs you on princess? Dead? Come on! If you're gonna kidnap us at least be honest about it!" he yelled, rage and annoyance now clear on his face as he blew smoke from his nose. He looked around the room and looked into the eyes of everyone. "Ya'll ain't actually falling for this, are ya?" he asked before glancing towards the stranger dressed as a freaking bird. He pointed towards the stranger and frowned. "And you, bird brain! Take off that stupid get up, look like a jackass in that thing!"

He didn't even wait for a reply from the bird brain and looked back to Willow with his sword half unsheathed. "Tell us what's really going on, or I'm testing this thing out on you first!" he snarled with clenched teeth, crushing the filter of his half smoked cigarette.

Olive jumped in her seat as Forrest suddenly spoke up beside her. She quickly turned to look at him, then Willow, then back to him. "Wh-...What? No, this is..." She glanced around for a few seconds before continuing. "I have no idea what this is. Do you, um...r-remember anything...out of th--"

The elf is interrupted by Willow speaking up again. Olive turned her attention back to her, and listened intently as she spoke of their untimely deaths...though the sudden display of magic caught her off guard. She briefly glanced back at the dark elf sitting beside her in thought before turning her attention back to Willow...just in time to see her conjure up a dagger. More magic.

Olive suddenly felt something hard within her robes, the garment feeling somehow familiar, while also completely new to her. Whatever the item was, she quickly dove a hand in and pulled it out. A book. Hardcover, too. As she opened it, to her surprise, there weren't words in the book, but rather strange runes and symbols etched into the pages. Again, she knew this was her first time seeing this, yet it felt like she had already studied their meaning for years.

"...But before we move on, do any of you have questions?" Willow was speaking again. Olive slammed her book shut with a hand, eliciting a loud thud from it's pages. She shot up a thin hand, but didn't bother to wait to be called upon. "W-We died? All of us here?
D-Did, uh...Did y--"

A voice in the back of the room interrupted her. ""What kind of drugs you on princess? Dead? Come on! If you're gonna kidnap us at least be honest about it!" She turned on her heels and quickly pinpointed the source of the voice. "I have ears!!" she retorted while tugging on her long, elven ears. Surely she meant they were pointed, and not the fact that she had ears at all was reason enough to believe she had died.

He swore a vain was about to pop in his head as voice called him out. "I have ears!!" he quickly changed his aim onto a skinny looking girl with wooden spectacles and pointy ears. He let a sick smile roll onto his face as he rose from his seat.

"Really now, then how about I see if they're real, eh? It'll prove me wrong and we can magically put them back on. That's how it works right?" he chuckled and inched his sword a bit further out of its sheath. "Though I'll still cut them off if you don't shut your pretty little mouth!" he looked back to Willow and huffed. "Now look here, I got business to take care of and you're keeping me from it. Have fun messing with these morons, but I'm in no mood!"

Forrest tasted the beverage; he distorted his face when he found the drink to be too sweet for his tastes.
He shrugged his shoulders and sipped the drink considering he might not have an opportunity to quench his thirst later on. The dark elf kept licking his lip after each intake. It reminded him of a moment in his childhood when he put too many spoons of sugar into his Kool-Aid.

Forrest put the cup to his lip. His eyes observed the individuals sitting close to him. One recognizable individual sat adjacently at his table. Forrest peered while pretending to drink his cup. The sight of a bird-man was astonishing. The feathers on his body appeared mostly genuine. Forrest laid his cup on the table and smacked his lip. "Soooooo, does this mean chicken would officially be off your diet?" The dark elve swayed his head side to side. "It's a concerning question."

Forrest's conversation was cut short. The woman from before had begun her explanation. She enthusiastically clarified the reasoning for the party's existence. "I knew it," Forrest smiled thinking back to when he acknowledged Willow for being aware of this world's contents. He covered his mouth when he rudely spoke out loud.

He waved at the individuals at his table as an apology of sorts. Forrest had a tough time listening to Willow. He wasn't much for paying attention to lectures. "Bottom line, we die and we are resurrected," the dark elve spoke to himself. He snickered, "I guess if I committed suicide, I would be pretty pissed right now.

Forrest had a hazy idea of how he died. When his image appeared, he began slightly memorizing his death scene. "Oh, yeah. I was mugged," Forrest knew there was more information regarding his death, but he couldn't figure it out. His mind was still fresh to everything. Forrest couldn't keep thinking as his train of thought was interrupted. Someone had become a bit unruly and started shouting out claims that this world isn't a dream. It wasn't funny like Forrest was being earlier.

Forrest knocked on his table when he began hearing threats toward other people. "Look, man. I think you're going a bit overboard. Hell, I would be mad if I too died just to become a human again with a cigarette addiction." The dark elf laughed and took a sip of his 'too sweet' beverage. "How about you just calm down and not threaten people to cut off people's ears? That could be my cousin you're talking to." Forrest then wiggled his pointy ears; he expected he would have to defend his own species...race? The whole transaction of words was different.

"And I actually like the bird man. I think he looks f---ing awesome. " Forrest had a mouth which usually brought him more trouble. He wasn't sure if he was truly being defensive or just a comedian.

Olive glared over at the smoking man for a moment...before sitting back down and hunching over to avoid further conflict. Probably for the best. She occupied herself by picking out one of the nearby drinks as she waited for Willow to continue.

Mark groaned in a annoyance as yet another voice came to his ears and snapped his head towards a new target. A black haired individual with pointed ears who seemed to like to run his smart mouth. "Wanna throw in your two cents buddy? Fine, I'll shove them back down your throat along with your teeth!" he roared while kicking over his table and pointed his now fully drawn sword towards the cocky bastard. Killing this loud mouth bastard will surely calm Mark down a bit.

A snarl escaped christopher. For several reasons. One, he didnt quite believe this was happening, like the man who seemed abit to violent for his taste. Two, if he was dead, he had some problems with that. However, three, was the biggest problem. This guy was imidiatly taking shit to far, and it was already pissing him off.

He quickly raised his hands, stepping between the two. He glared at the sword weilding maniac. With a growl, he cracked a finger with his thumb" listen...I'm about as pissed off as you are. This cant be happening. But things arent adding up. Last I remember, I couldnt even walk. I was bed ridden, and unable to breath properly. If this is some kind of sick, well crafted joke, then we need to deal with it like calm, mature adults. But ive been in a hospital bed for half a year now, and if you cant calm down, I'll ram that sword through your gut and that shield up your ass!" His eyes hardened as he clenched his fists, glaring down the sword to the man. Unbeknownst to christopher, his body had began to steam, heat radiating off him like his rage.

"Are we clear?"

Forrest cocked his right eyebrow up. He looked at the man approaching towards him. "What? You're not making it easy for people to like you." The dark elve proceeded to look around his surroundings to see how everyone else was responding. Forrest did not believe the man was serious. Though he questioned the man's short temper, this might have been a moment of seriousness. His heart beat picked up a bit as he knew he was going to have to start getting physical.

Turning over to the hybrid, he motioned to the aggressive individual."Yo, Harvey Birdman, you think you can help me out?" Forrest turned back and could see the man was nearing him with the sword. Quickly, he chucked his half-full cup of 'too sweet' water at the man. He continued to pull himself out of the bench and stood up on the table. "Excuse me. Sorry," he rambled as he began jumping from table to table in order to get away from his second possible murderer.

Forrest glanced back and could see a good Samaritan had stopped the fight. He seemed pissed off as well, but not willing to physically show it to other people. "Yeah, you tell him, man. He don't want that shield in his booty, uh uh." Forrest continued his immaturity with a few teases at the man. He then began dabbing, which to Willow, might have resembled a stroke perhaps.
