@Amore & @spooner collab

MacKenna fell back into a squatting position steadying herself for a moment before looking up at what she had collided with rubbing her forehead. “Oh… it’s you” she grumbled. Looking down at her with a smug look on his face was Cassian Lee. An ever-growing thorn in the girl’s side. It had started with them having to do a project together for their communications class. At first, Mac was glad she had been paired with one of the other person of color in a sea of white that was that class.

But as they spent more and more time together Mac started to feel that something was not right. She wasn’t sure but something about Cassian just wasn’t genuine.

“You keep those gorilla arms to yourself,” she said straightening up. “Why are you skulking around alone like this anyway?” She asked looking him up and down. As much as he made her uncomfortable, she had to admit the young man was unbelievably beautiful.

“Easier to do if you’d stop walking straight into them, Kiyo. I think your friend is on to something about you chasing after balls. All you need to do is ask nicely.” Cassian’s smirk was as strong as his ego as he stepped back from the spunky girl, who he refused to admit had become the subject of his sole interest, letting his nimble fingers trace along her back as he withdrew his stabilizing hold on her, ”Should I be here with someone in particular? My go-to date was already taken, and the little troublemaker I came with has a man to conquer tonight.” He let out a soft chuckle and looked over the congregating group a moment before returning his gaze to Mac.

“Looks like you traded in your roommates for interesting company.” There was an inflection in his tone as his eyes were drawn away from her again by the actual gorilla throwing a fit across the table.

“Whatever dude... have you been stalking me around this party or what?” she asked with a huff.

“Much to your displeasure I haven’t, I’ve been looking for someone. But then your pretty face caught my attention and so I came over and to such a cold welcoming. But that’s what I like about you.” His response was smooth, his lips ever so slightly slipping into a genuine smile.

“Only four people per table. Go find your own.”

Cassian replied with a dismissive wave of his hand, the grin was gone and his tone much cooler than a moment ago, “What are you going to do? Beat on your chest next, Bonfamille? The adults are talking now, wait your turn.”

Mac was getting annoyed and it showed on her face, her eyes were rolled all the way back and a frustrated sigh escaped the girl. “Please tuck away your fragile masculinities!” she exclaimed bending down picking up the ball. “I’ll guess you’ll have to watch… I know you like that Lee” she said smirking at the tall man with her perfectly manicured eyebrow raised.

Unlike his usual self, he opted to show a little of his annoyance, offering Mac a soft sigh and made sure she saw his eyes roll in response, “Just as much as you like looking at me, Kiyo. Make sure to lean over the table a little extra for me, okay?” The wink he gave her was playful, as were his words as he found a spot to lean against the table next to the one she was playing at.

“Shut the fuck up…” she lamented as she turned back towards the group.

“Ok ladies! Let’s get this match started!” Mac shouted as she sauntered back over to the table. “You alright?” she whispered to the obviously riled up redhead placing a hand on his tense shoulder.

Cassian found hiding his emotions came as easy to him as breathing, a survival skill he learned from navigating high society in a cutthroat place like South Korea. Not that he necessarily feared anyone in attendance at the party, but found it a waste of time to give the dumbass across the table anything to gloat about, and surely having Mac tending to his fragile ego was already enough gloating material.

great job Mackenna

The thought was bitter and he could feel the muscles in his jaw tighten in response. A slow exhale of his next breath relaxed him, at least visibly, into an approachable state of neutrality as he settled in to watch the four of them battle out over cheap beer and inevitable hangovers.

“Set it up, Connor!” Mac smirked at the blond boy getting the cups together. “Let’s crush them, Al!” she whispered to her partner before raising the small white ball in front of her face and blowing on it for some good luck. The girl took some time to steady herself and calibrate the distance before tossing the ball in an arch towards the cups. With a small splash, it landed in one of them.

With a squeal, MacKenna jumped up and down wrapping her arms around Aleric. “Alright Al, show them what you got!” she said turning her head toward Cassian raising her eyebrows.

Playing the piano even when it was a crusty old keyboard has always transported Bastíen to his own world. His fingers moved over the plastic keys while the party went on outside of the cabin. Ever since he was little Bas liked to be alone and practice playing. It all stemmed from his mother wanting him to become a cultured young gentleman. So for as long as he could remember it had been three hours of piano playing at least once a day. For young Bastíen it had never been a chore like his siblings felt about what their mother wanted them to do.

So Bastíen was oblivious to the other person entering the room from the stairs. He kept playing increasing in intensity before reaching a climax with a flip of his hair. The sudden clapping made the piano player jump and look around frantically.

"Hey that was pretty awesome, didn't take you for a piano kind of guy." The other person said as he slowly moved around the room. Who was he? And how would he know what kind of ‘guy’ he Bastíen was? Everyone knew the piano was 70% of what made him.

Bas raised an eyebrow while he was searching for a name deep inside his mind. He was coming up blank. His powder blue eyes surveyed the young man up and down but to no avail. He looked like someone that would go through his time at Meadow without making much noise or fanfare for himself and that was probably why Bastíen hadn’t bothered remembering who he was.

"I'm surprised this is still even here and and working, based on how dirty this place is no one's been here in a minute." the guy continued as he came around looking at the old keyboard.

“I’m sorry… who are you?” Bastíen deadpanned while he crossed his legs looking up at the guy. “I didn’t mean to be rude. It’s just that you seem to know who I am… and what kind of ‘guy’ I am so I just think I ought to know who you are.” he plastered on a soft smile.

So, Leon was most likely a significant amount of buzzed. That was okay. That was perfect, given Camilla was also holding a shot. Watching him down the shot, Camilla decided to follow along, slamming the shot down just like her companion. It was good to be buzzed! "I'm not sure where your queen is, actually. Don't think I've seen her." Camilla shrugged. There were so many people around that it was rather hard for her to spot someone in specific. Hell, she got lucky by finding Leon in a place like this. She couldn't really figure out how she would even find Leon's queen. Hell, she wasn't 100% sure if she was even here, or within the vicinity. But, at least it gave her something to accomplish and something to do instead of roaming around and being a wallflower, "Why don't we go find her? I got nothing else to do."

Walking into the party, it didn't take long for Camilla to lose her friend. He must've wandered off or something like that. Camilla was a little astonished at how quickly she was separated from Leon, considering she was right there with him. Glancing around to find him, she couldn't really do that to much avail. It was a rather disappointing experience, and she didn't really want to leave him alone right now. They had a task for accomplish but it was harder to accomplish with just one of them around, especially since Leon was much taller than Camilla. That would've made finding someone a lot easier.

Roaming around to find Leon AND his queen, Camilla was starting to get a little frustrated at how difficult finding him was turning out. She was about two steps away from getting ready to give up and ask someone if they'd seen Leon around. Looking around, she saw another dude hanging out by himself, and he appeared to be taller than Camilla, which meant that he definitely had a much better chance of seeing Leon. At least, that was according to Camilla's not-as-wise rationale. Sighing, she decided to ask him. Walking around like this clearly wasn't going to accomplish much. As she got closer, it was starting to turn out that it was this Devin fella that Camilla had heard a bit about. She hadn't interacted with him much, but she was hoping he'd seen this person at the very least. Walking up to him, she cleared her throat. "Hi! Excuse me, have you seen this dude that's about... six feet tall? A little dark? May be a little blasted out of his mind?"

As daring as she could be, Junie didn’t have a change of clothes, nor was she wearing a bra, so it was in her best interest to go into the water with her dress on. The only guy who deserved to see her in the nude was the guy right in front of her. They may have been in their own world, but the crowd wasn’t too far from them, and who knows what could happen if she showed a little too much. Juniper Macmillan was aware that she was above average in looks and that there were more than enough people that fantasized about her in and out of their bedrooms, having been harrassed on more occasions than she’d like to admit. While yes, she was inebriated, she still felt inclined to be cautious. If not for her reputation than to make sure nothing went south in this moment she shared with a guy she was so feverishly hot for. A moment she’s been preparing for three years.

Why is it that it took her such a long time to finally make a move? If she were being honest with herself, the idea of love, like how her parents love each other, wholeheartedly, almost to a scary Bonnie and Clyde level, she was afraid of. The idea of being completely and utterly vulnerable to someone, that she chooses as her other half, forever and always. Someone she decides to build a future with, for better or for worse. Just looking at Ty... he looked like someone who undoubtedly battled demons on a daily basis, and yet, that only made her want him more.

She was ready to peel the layers, go beyond face value, but she knew herself better than anyone. Yes, including her twin, who knew her like she knew the back of her hand. When Junie liked something, like really liked something, she obsessed over it, she grew jealous, she got possessive, she got... violent. Being raised spoiled and selfish, as well as a lady, only meant she was good at burying the sides that made her... fucking crazy. She knew taking this step would lead to not only bliss, but also danger. More for Ty and those that he kept close. If he chose to be her's, there was no going back. She would make sure it stood that way or a fire was bound to rise, and spread.

It was his call.

God knows she hates wasting her time.

Did he want to drink some poison? Because Junie wasn't perfect and she never would be. She was like a drug, addictive and toxic. She knew she was better than a lot of people, she knew she was cold when she needed to be, and she knew she could be cruel to those that were naive and innocent. Junie Baby was a bitch and if Ty really wanted to fall down the rabbit hole, then by all means, fall.

Grabbing Tiberus Delamar’s hand, Junie led him into the water, like a bewitching nymph leading her sailor to his demise. She let her confidence convey her need for him, and when they were hip deep into the water, she turned around and slid her hands up his chest until her hands were intertwined with one another, around his neck. The coy game was over. They were upperclassmen now, and she knew that graduation would come faster than either of them wanted. Time to stake her claim and talk with her body, but first, she’d give him the choice: “How bad do you want to kiss me?”

Alaric stood off to the side, watching the interaction between Cassian and Mac with an obvious look of annoyance on his face. He didn't like the vibes the other dude was throwing, he had an ego the size of Texas and just oozed a whole "I'm better than you" aura. He typically didn't even care to be social with guys like that and really didn't care if they they knew he disliked them or not. With a little huff the blonde boy tipped his whiskey bottle back, as if he could get even more irritated the bottle only provided a few last drops.

"God hates me, doesn't he?" Alaric mumbled under his breath, the bottle hadn't been full in the first place but it was definitely disappointing that it had gone dry so fast.

For a moment h e had forgotten about Mac and Cassian, his alcohol crisis threw him for a loop. Though when Theo spoke up he was drawn back in, turning he noticed the poor broken cup. Boy was speaking with some attitude, he could get down with that. But Mac didn't need anyone to stick up for her, at least not in this situation. He'd seen the smaller girl beat some guys with the words that could fly outta her mouth. It was a very entertaining thing to watch, especially with the way he was beginning to feel. Good God the whiskey was starting to kick in.

He was glad when his friend returned, leaving Cass to just stare after her. He couldn't put his finger on it, but he wasn't very fond of the look on Cassian's face. Alaric watched the other male for only a moment before directing his attention back to the game of beer pong they should have been playing five minutes ago. This was a lot more fun than trying to start a fight he didn't want, he really didn't want to get punched tonight...though what happens after he drank himself into oblivion would be a mystery.

"The lady says to crush, so we gotta crush" Alaric said with a cheeky little grin, he had no idea what math wizardry Mac was doing in her head but it worked. He let out a loud whoop as the ball landed with a splash, returning Mac's hug and patting her head. "Look at my little beer pong queen go." He said in a teasing way, letting her go he grabbed a little white ball.

Alaric barely took any time to calculate what he was doing and just tossed the tiny ball in the air and towards the red cups. With a clatter it bounced off the edge of a cup and went bouncing to the ground. Alaric stared at the ball with a dazed look, blinking a few times before turning towards the two boys. "That went better in my head."

Holding Junies hand as she led him into the water, Ty wasn't really sure what to expect from here. A friendly swim? A race to the other side and back? What he wasn't expecting was her straight forwardness. On one hand, it was like the Junie he knew to ask exactly that. She was confident. She knew what she wanted. Anyone who knew her could tell you that. On the other hand, it was unlike the Junie he knew. She had been playing coy, and for Ty to see her so open about what she wanted was a little shocking.

No matter what he did or didn't know about Junie, the fact still stood that they were having one hell of a breathtaking moment. Rather the heat coursing through his veins was due to her touching him or the previous consumption of alcohol he didn't know. Snapping back into reality, he placed his hands on her hips, gently pulling her towards him to close whatever distance was left between them. Instead of using his words and risking the possibility of saying something cringy, Ty decided to do what Ty did best - speak with his body language.

As he tilted his head downward to press his lips to Junies, he heard the cockblocking splash right before he felt it. Head snapping up as his arms flew up out beside of him, Ty turned to see who had threw the football that had barely missed his dates (date? could he call her that?) head.

And there she was; all honey blonde hair and with that mischievous smirk plastered across her face, arms crossed in triumph.

"Yo Dee!" he called out, clearly pissed. "What the fuck?!"

Elliot watched the dark-haired male, he wasn't sure how he felt about the awkward silence that fell between them after Bastien had finished playing. In fact, it looked like the guy was more confused and he watched as he was looked over. Elliot was someone who didn't like to cause problems, which honestly was hard considering there have been many times where he'd almost punched someone. He wanted to go through school and finish without much of a hassle, that didn't mean he was an anti-social person either though.

He enjoyed talking to people and loved to see others laugh and smile, none of that was going on right now though. Elliot could understand if maybe Bastien wasn't comfortable talking with him, after all he had sorta snuck up here like a creepy creep. But based on the look on his face he didn't even know who Elliot was, sure they had maybe only spoke in passing on or twice but did he need to make it so obvious?

As if god wanted to make him look like a fool Bastien straight up asked who he was. Elliot blinked a few times, oh god what did someone say in a situation like this? He felt his face grow warm as he started feel a little embarrassed, he didn't blame the guy for not remembering him but he didn't think that he was so...forgettable. was he just so uncool and uninteresting that people couldn't even remember his face or name? Dear lord.

Elliot realized he'd been standing there for almost a full minute without saying anything we'd while having his identity crisis. He felt awkward now and was internally wishing he had stayed home. The boy backed away a bit from the piano, lifting an arm and rubbing the back of his head. "I'm Elliot Thatcher...we've spoken once or twice. I don't really know who you are...I just heard the piano from outside and got curious."

His fight or flight instincts were kicking in and Elliot desperately wanted to choose flight, he hated not knowing what to say in a conversation, was thos really even a conversation? With that feeling of wanting to run away came annoyance and anger, he had to really push those down and not act on them, he really wasn't in the mood for Mac to give him a lecture on how he needed to control his emotions.

"You just don't look like the kind of dude who can play so well....you look like one of those foreign runway models who think they are the shit."

An odd comparison indeed but it was the first thing that popped into his head. Elliot fiddled with the edge of his sweater, a nervous tick that resulted in many of his clothes looking frayed. "Sorry if I offended your or something, I can go if you want me to." He offered, looking at anything and everything but Bastien.

With a half-smile on her face, Ramona watched Nate down the shot of peach Ciroc in one swift gulp. Her eyes sparkled with excitement when he went on to grab the liquor from her hands and take a few chugs straight from the bottle. His eyes watered as he did so, and the look on his face after he'd finally put down the bottle made Mona burst into a giggling fit. Nate had proved himself, that was for sure. "I definitely thought you were gonna puke all over the place," the young woman said, trying to control her laughter as she poured another shot. "I probably would've. I hate the taste of peach Ciroc. Nasty stuff. I like dark liquor a whole lot better. I had some before I came here, which probably wasn't that great of an idea since my pops always told me not to mix dark and light liquor..." Ramona had to catch herself before she started rambling, one of the few negative effects of her drunkenness. See, Mona was what many people deemed as a Happy Drunk; it'd only be a matter of time before she'd be unable to control her laughter and over-friendliness.

When Jasper brought up the fact that she was hot, Mona simply nodded her head in agreement. "Now that you mention it, it is pretty warm out here. And I mean, I always get super hot when I'm drinking. I'm burning up right now..." As Mona spoke, her eyes began to wander around the party. She saw a bunch of familiar faces, one being her roommate Camilla. She was just about to suggest that they include her in whatever game they were about to play when she spotted Junie MacMillan not too far away from the rest of the crowd. Suddenly, Mona tapped her two friends on the shoulders and nodded towards an area of the lake a little ways away from where her best friend and Jasper's brother stood. "I think I know how we can cool off, if you two are up for it," Mona said as she started skipping away. "Last one in takes three more shots of tequila!"

It wasn't until after Mona reached the edge of the water that she realized she hadn't worn a bathing suit underneath her outfit. That, and she'd spent way too much time on doing her hair to even think about having it drenched in lake water. Under normal circumstances, that probably would've been enough for her to rethink what she'd been planing to do. Drunk Mona, on the other hand, couldn't care less; she pulled her skirt off in record time, and went running into the water without a care in the world.

"What are you going to-" Jade never had a chance to finish that thought. Before she could inquire what Joey could possibly regret aside from the chugging of the bourbon, the giggly neon girl was on her lips.

Oh fuck. Oh shit. I'm kissing Joey. Why am I kissing Joey? I thought Lottie was the only one that kisses Joey? The soccer star's eyes were still wide open at this point. Is there a reason that Lottie wouldn't be the only person that kisses Joey? Did they fight? Is this a revenge kiss? The same analytical mind that allowed her to make split-second decisions on the pitch was not prepared for this. I shouldn't be partaking in this. Should I? I mean, it is Joey freaking Hart. The Neon Minx herself. She started this. Is Lottie going to come at me for this? ...I can take Lottie. Fuck it, I've earned this. Her brain finally came to a decision and leaned in, putting a hand at the nape of Joey's neck as she pressed her lips more firmly, eyes closed as she relaxed and enjoyed this for... whatever the hell this was going to be. I came here on the prowl anyway. I guess this is as good a way to start as any... Probably shouldn't go too long though. With that thought, she hesitantly broke away from Joey for the moment, eyes opening again to try and figure out exactly what was happening.

"Joey... that was lovely... but I don't understand. I thought you and Lottie had a thing? Is that why you are going to regret doing that? Because honestly, I don't think I regret that..."

For most people, trying to fight their way through a crowd of slightly inebriated university students would be a monumental task. Of course, most people didn’t get a lot of practice having to do it on skates for most of their life. Plus, they weren’t giant mountain men. For Kieran it was no issue, even as he made sure Lottie was perfectly balanced on his shoulders. Besides, that meant that Kieran had a lookout. “How we looking up there, Munchkin? Got a line on the cabin?”

“Got the target on site, Chief!” Charlotte cheerfully called out to him, her hazel eyes locked on the wooden cabin only a few feet away from them. From her privileged position on top of the broad, muscled shoulders of the living boulder that was Kiki, she had a clear view of the location they were scouting for. Lottie could see what looked like at least two people on the top floor- which didn’t bother her, though. With the size of the cabin, everyone could do as they pleased without getting in the way of each other. “I think there’s, like, two people in there. But they’re upstairs. I don’t think they’ll bother us.”

“Even if they try, you and I both know they won’t succeed,” Kieran confirmed as he lumbered towards the door. His focus was solely on getting to the promised land of the cabin, so much so that the faces on the way just became dark blurs, save for the one neon blur in the side of his vision. That was a little weird. It shouldn’t have stood out the way it did, but it did. Oh well. Bigger fish to fry. He knelt down beside the door to allow his paramour to climb down off his body… for the moment. “I believe this is our stop, Lotts.”

“Oh, but I don’t want to get down!” she whined and pouted, refusing to let go of Kiki and resting her head on top of his.

“As much as I would love to just have you on top of me all night dear, I can’t imagine my shoulders are going to be all that comfortable for a whole night.” He reached behind his back and did his best to pat Charlotte’s shoulder. “Besides, you know I can give you this spectacular view again any time you want.”

“Ugh, fine...” Lottie sighed in defeat, taking advantage of Kieran’s help to unmount from his shoulders. Once she was firmly planted on the ground once more, she straightened out her outfit, took his hand and dragged him into the building.

Upon first impressions, the cabin was a lot larger than it appeared to be from the outside. A few stray party attendees were floating around the ample room: mostly duos or small groups of people looking for a quieter place to talk. But lucky for them, the giant jenga Charlotte had spotted on her way in was still in the corner, miraculously unoccupied. Letting out an excited shriek, she quickened her pace and urged Kiki to keep up by pulling his hand.

When they had finally reached their destination, Lottie turned to Kieran with a smile. “Can I have a kiss for good luck before we start the game?” she cooed, wrapping her arms around him for the millionth time and pulling him closer to her.

A soft chuckle escaped Kieran’s lips as he bent down to allow Lottie to bring him to her. “I think I’m the luckier one in this case,” he noted as he planted the requested kiss on Lottie’s lips. “But hey, who am I to argue with that kind of superstition?” He started setting up the game, but honestly he didn’t plan for it to go on too long. Strip jenga could potentially take forever. Especially given how many different components of that outfit Lottie was wearing. After the tower was set up in a slightly haphazard manner, Kieran gestured to his lady friend. “Would you like to make the first move?”

“Of course!” Charlotte shrieked, excitedly clapping her hands together and turning her attention to the jenga game in front of her. Once she was one hundred percent concentrated on the game, it was easy for her to find a loose piece of the puzzle, and even easier to carefully pull the wooden piece out from between two others in the middle of the tower. The blonde clapped her hands again and gave little hops of joy before turning back to Kiki. “Alright, Viking! Shirt. Off.”

Kieran smirked as he obliged Lottie, slowly lifting his Hawks shirt off his body, revealing the well-sculpted physique that allowed him to be such an effective power forward on the ice and an effective piggybacker in the field. “I wouldn’t be clapping for too long there, Ace,” he warned the giddy blonde in front of him. He surveyed the tower quickly, trying to find another loose piece before finding one on the side. He deftly removed the block of wood and tossed it on top of the tower. “There we go! All right, Lottie. Um… that is all one outer layer of dress, right? Over the pink? I think you can take all of that off now.”

Beaming, Charlotte did as she was told, and happily removed her white mesh mini dress. Her cheeky neon pink bodysuit was in full display now, showing off her small, yet well proportioned body. Giggling, the blonde slowly turned around in front of Kieran, giving him a chance to enjoy her figure from all angles before turning back to the game. “My turn!” she announced, quickly finding and removing another middle piece sitting in one of the bottom rows of the tower, daintily placing back at the top and looking back at Kieran again. “Jeans! Off!” Man, this game was fun!

All Kieran could do is shake his head as he obliged Lottie, undoing the belt of his jeans and dropping them to the floor, revealing the checkered pair of boxer shorts he was wearing underneath “Starting to think I wasn’t as well prepared for this game as I thought! Ah well, this next pull is going to be worth it to see what you’ve got under that bodysuit of yours again.”

As the Viking rotated around the tower to try and get a better glimpse of an easy move to accomplish his new goal, that same yellow neon glint caught his eye that he noticed en route to the cabin. It definitely wasn’t moving as much now though, but when Kieran looked out the window, it was clear just what the blur was. The dyed hair under the pale lights that had been dragged out to this middle-of-nowhere field was a dead giveaway now that the hockey player was no longer ambling with purpose to a new location.

That was Joey all right. It hadn’t been that long since Kieran last saw her. After all, he had helped Lottie move in some heavier stuff she had acquired during the summer break. But Joey was grabbing hold of… another girl? It was hard to tell. The other person had a slight height advantage on Joey, but not enough to give the game away. “Lotts, is that… is that Joey down there? Because it looks like she’s not as interested in joining you and me as you thought. Unless she’s bringing that person in to make it a foursome…”

Frowning in confusion, Lottie shifted her attention to where Kieran was pointing to. In all honesty, she had been both completely absorbed in their game and greedily staring at his body as if it was the best creation in the universe to really pay much attention to their surroundings. But, yep, he wasn’t seeing things. That was Joey, all right: locked in a kiss with, of all people, their sorority sister Jade Scott.

The short blonde curiously cocked her head sideways. “Huh. I didn’t think she’d be into Jade...” Charlotte commented matter-of-factly, keeping her hazel eyes on the two girls until Jade broke the kiss. Then it was time to return to Kieran. “Don’t worry about Joey bringing in someone else, Kiki,” she reassured him with a smile. “She won’t. I mean: yeah, we have an open relationship. But from that to dragging a fourth person into our plans without telling me? No way.”

”That Jade Scott?” Kieran asked, well aware of another of Meadow University’s stars of sport. She was getting national team buzz already from the sounds of things, while Kieran wasn’t close to getting a sniff from the Canadian hockey team. It was a shame.

“Looks like it,” Lottie shrugged nonchalantly, clearly unbothered by what they had just witnessed.

“Well, maybe Joey does have a type, and that type is amazing superstar athletes like you.” Kieran should have probably touched on that whole open relationship thing that Lottie mentioned, but weren’t they technically in an open relationship too? Or at least a very strong friends with benefits situation. He couldn’t really be mad if Lottie was dipping her nets into more than one port. As long as it wasn’t some other dude. Heck, he was going to be taking advantage of it from the sounds of things.

Charlotte chortled at his compliment and observation. “Maybe she does,” she repeated, shrugging again. But after a moment of silence, the young woman quickly snapped her fingers and pointed to the jenga tower again. “Now stop buying yourself time and take your turn already! I know you’re dying to see what’s underneath all this…” she simpered, giving another little twirl.

There was another thing he had to take advantage of. He had decided on a move. Kiki was really going to put the pressure on by taking from the same tier he had taken from before. A single brick this early? It would really make Lottie think. But maybe Kieran was thinking a little too much as he made that pull. He definitely lifted on the block of wood too much and the side of the tower started collapsing on him and the shrieking blonde, the giant bits falling towards him as he caught a couple of pieces to the shins and Lottie gleefully celebrated in the corner.“Fuckin’ Jeezus!” he cursed as he brushed the wood off his legs. ”Well that backfired. ...I’m guessing you’re not just going to let me get away with taking my shoes off, eh?”

Lottie could only smirk in satisfaction and teasingly shake her head. “Not a chance!” she tittered, trying her best to appear seductive as she skirted through the wooden blocks of jenga while making her way towards him. “I could be mean, you know? Having you take these off right here and now…” she trailed off, hooking her thumbs on the elastic waistband of his boxers and biting her lower lip. “But I’m much too greedy to let anyone else see what I see. So, how about we take our business somewhere a little more private? I take these off-” she playfully tugged at the elastic band. “-and I promise I’ll let you take mine off too.”

Kieran nodded his head in agreement. "That sounds like a very fair compromise, Ace. Or should I say, world strip Jenga champion? Anyway, I’ll let you lead me wherever you want.”

The young man watched as the beaming Charlotte took both of his hands and guided him into the nearest empty bathroom, making sure to lock the door behind them before leaping straight into his arms and wrapping him up in a passionate kiss. K.O. knew he was knocked out of the Jenga battle. But in a way, it worked out well, because he’d definitely won the war tonight. Junior year was getting off to a great start.

Location: The Hawk's Nest

Connor breathed an internal sigh of relief as the situation has seemingly settled. The tension, however, seemed to have decided to nestle uncomfortably into the background. Cassian's piercing stare towards their table didn't help. The game was a go, as Mac's ball plopped into one of the cups. Soon Alaric would follow up with a shot that narrowly missed. Connor fished the ball out of the cup; the harsh smell licked his nose. A stroke of genius (or stupidity, depending on how you look at it) crossed the bespectacled boy's head.

Keeping his eyes shut he gulped the disgusting drink down as quick as he could, not wanting the taste to linger. The drink burnt his throat yet it somehow gave him a chill. The blond shook his head; the drinks got worse as time went on. "Good god." He failed at holding back a gagging cough. "Before we continue, let's- ...fucking hell. Let's make it interesting." He paused in between words, a bad attempt to hide his true intentions. "How about... both people in the winners team gets a favour from both losers?"

"I mean a favour from me wouldn't be worth much." Connor turned towards Theodore and winked. "But a favour from a Bonfamille? That's another story." The blond grabbed a ball; crap, the drink had affected him way more than he thought it had. Still he released the ball with another high arc and continued. "So-" The ball landed in the cup as he enunciated the next words. "... how about it?"

Connor was nothing if not a showman.
...atleast while he's tipsy.

Theo was near his boiling point.

Correction. He was past his boiling point.

He was tired of hearing Cassian’s voice belittle him, acting as though he was above Theo in any regard. He was tired of seeing him act like the pompous rich asswipe Theo had promised himself he never become. He was sick to death of seeing him get closer to Mac while he just stood in the back.

Theo lacked self-control some times and had a problem with his temper--scratch that! His temper wasn’t the problem but rather those who made him lose control of it. If it wasn’t Theo himself, then it was his father and mother; and if they didn’t make him lose his mind, then the kids he grew up with who teased his brother made him want to fight. There was always somebody who was to blame. There was always someone who made him see everything in front of him as red as his hair.

Honest to God, it was people like Cassian Lee that fed the beast inside Theodore.

When he belittled him, addressed him by his last name as if he was beneath using Theo’s name when he talked to him, and treating him like a child, Theo lost it. He didn’t hear anything but the thundering rage he felt. And, In an act that was otherwise blacked out, he hadn’t realized that he had rushed towards him and tackled Cassian to the ground until he was on top of Cass, aiming a balled fist towards the smug bastard’s face..

It was late in the evening when Lola Russo awoke with a start, suddenly jumping upright into a seating position in the middle of her king-sized bed. The lamps in her bedroom were still on, filling the otherwise dark room with warm light. In her semi-awake state, the scenes of her last dream played back in her head: a reunion, a good fuck, a party, and a love confession so heartfelt and sentimental it made her cringe just to think about.

Blake De Stefano had been the person on Lola's mind before her drifting off to DreamLand. It had been through secondhand sources that the blonde had found out Blake had accepted a schooling opportunity in Europe, and would be completing the rest of his degree there. If she was truly honest with herself, a part of her was sad to see him go, and would probably always what would’ve been had she bothered to give him the chance he deserved. But the predominant, rational side of her brain? It was celebrating. Blake being out of the picture gave her a peace of mind she hadn’t realized she’d been missing in the first place. His absence meant that there would be no more arguments about what they were or weren’t, no more trying to explain her reluctance to commitment, no more sneaking around with the other guys to avoid hurting him (even if they weren’t official), and no more feeling guilty about breaking his heart. Lola was as she was meant to be: free to do what and who she pleased.

Which shifted her thoughts to the man she was 95% certain had stolen her heart.

Once upon a time, in the beautiful port city of Los Angeles, Lola Russo and her Marymount friends had decided to celebrate their first girl’s night out in four months at Delirium nightclub. The last night of Los Angeles Fleet Week happened to be taking place that evening, and Delirium was filled with the brave sailors of the US Navy, each of them in different shades of gorgeous. The girls had been making their way to the bar when one of them collided with Lola… And, as corny as it sounded, it had been love at first sight. Their night together was definitely one of the fondest memories of Lola’s life, and his face and name would be forever branded in her mind like a tattoo…

United States Navy Seaman Brad Hart.

Bradley. Fucking. Hart.

Wait a second...

Hart…

The realization hit her like a ton of bricks, and she wanted to smack her palm against her dumb face. With her heart now racing, Lola snached her phone from the nightstand, unlocked the device and dove headfirst into her social media apps. It didn’t take long to find the answer to her question, in the form of a post on Joey Hart’s Instagram: a beautiful snapshot of the love of her life dressed up in his impeccable white uniform, with an excited little Joanna on top of his shoulders. "Big doofus! How dare u not come to Meadow with me! Who will protect me!? 😭 I kid! I'm proud of you brother! I know you're gonna make a great sea man! Float on, fellow twin of mine! 💞💕💖"

Lola stared down at the phone in disbelief. How could she have been so stupid? Why did it take her so long to make the possible connection? It wasn’t necessarily rocket science. All this time, wondering how she could stay in contact with Brad when they hadn’t exchanged contact information… And the answer had been staring at her right in the face.

She needed to find Joey. Now.

Now a woman with a mission, Lola threw on the first casual outfit she could put together (not like she’d be hanging around that swamp for long) and set out to find the answers to her questions. As she made her way down the instructed route, she was thankful for her choice in attire. Anything else would’ve made it a real bitch to navigate. By the time she arrived, the party was at its peak. Her foolish peers were at various stages of drunk, horny or just plain stupid, bringing a grimace to her face. She pushed and elbowed her way through the crowd, quelling any protests or complaints with a single death glare while keeping a vigilant eye out for the short, bleached blonde girl she was looking for. Her first sweep offered no leads, but something strange caught her attention on the second sweep.

A small group was huddled along a beer pong table: two alternative-looking blonds, a red-headed male, two Asians of opposite sexes- and the tension surrounding them was plastered all over their faces and body language. The furious redhead was seemingly confronting the smug Asian boy, while the average-looking girl intervened and the blond boys stared. Frowning, Lola put her ‘Finding Joey’ mission on the back burner and set out on the task of finding out what the hell was going on. She’d been just steps away from the table when Theodore Bonfamille tackled Cassian Lee to the ground and aimed his raised fist at her friend’s perfect face.

“Oh?” Bastíen surprised by Elliot’s comment. They had spoken before? Well obviously about nothing of substance since he Bastíen didn’t remember it at all. There he went again saying something about that he didn’t look like someone that could play the piano well… who was he to judge that? Bas’ eyebrows were still placed high on his face as he continued to survey the fidgety Elliot that stood in front of him. An intense look came over the tall young man as he stood up from his stool.

He took a deep breath and stood up. “Well… Elliot,” he said smoothly taking a step closer to the bespectacled young man. “Who says I can’t be both… huh?” he inched closer to Elliot, keeping his intense stare on his face. Bas could see that he was uncomfortable and that was something that Bastíen wanted to explore. He lowered his face so it was just inches away from Elliot. “Maybe I’m someone who knows that I’m the shit…. because I am very good at playing the piano” he whispered slowly inspecting Elliot’s face a smug smile spreading as he did so.

Now that the only sound was the muffled music coming from outside of the cabin you could almost hear the tension between them. A small soft chuckle escaped the Bonfamille as he finally broke eye contact looking down at his fidgeting fingers. “So as it seems like you have a feel of who I am… tell me, Elliot, what are you good at?” The smug smile was still intact as he took a small step back, crossing his arms in front of him.

“Let me guess…” he mused after a beat of silence, “You write poetry? Or… you take retro photographs that you put on Instagram… making the whole process redundant.” another small laugh escaped Bastíen “Am I close?” he asked the boy in front of him.

Laying back at the end of the day was nice, after a party with a cute girl on top of you was even better. Cassian had the face, and enough charisma if he drew up all he could muster to woo a girl back to his dorm, and it could have happened at some point in the night. Though apparently the night had other ideas for him, without so much as a chance to shoot Mac a wink as she looked back at him his view was blocked by the angry face of the gorilla he had poked one too many times.

Fuck, all it took was 20 words to set this idiot off?

“I didn’t know you were yearning to get intimate with me, sorry to say but you aren’t quite my type… I’m into cuties like Mack-” Cassian’s smug voice was cut off by the fist that met his face, the intense sting of his lip drew a hiss from him but otherwise did nothing to change the smug look on his face. Well, perhaps not in a way that would help soothe the fires of Theo’s soul, the smirk turned into a wide smile that screamed every bit of the mockery he spoke to Theo in, “Oh no, we are not compatible, I like being the rough one.” Cassian was prepared for the next fist flying towards his face turning his head to the side feeling knuckles grazing his cheek as he swung his own closed fit up and slightly wincing at the impact against Theo’s jaw,”See, didn’t that make you tingly?”. That seemed to stun Theo at least slightly, well, long enough for Cassian to react properly.

The many years he spent in the dojo back in Australia and South Korea easily enabled him to break out of Theo’s straddle. For added measure, a Cassian form of ‘fuck you’, he kicked the idiot with a solid foot square in the chest away from him. Cassian spit out the bit of pooling blood from his lip onto the grass before standing up with a grunt. Dark eyes took in the crowd gathering, had he not spotted a dozen or so cellphones pointed in his direction he might have gone further. With a huff he crouched down in front of Theo the adrenaline in his blood pumping out slowly his voice was low but loud enough for the redhead to clearly hear him. “Feel better now? Think punching me is going to make her give you the attention she gives me?” A humorless chuckle left his lips as he gave a few heavy pats to Theo’s cheek, ”I’ll make sure to let you know how she sounds under me. Good job Bonfamille.”

Cassian pushed against Theo’s shoulder as he stood up and brushed himself off, looking to Mac for a second, “Better comfort your gorilla again before his ego takes anymore hits, Kiyo. Find me later when you want to play with a big boy.” There was an element of venom to his words no matter how playful he tried to make them before he stalked off away from the group grabbing the nearest bottle of alcohol from a table as he went on his way.

An @Altered Tundra & @NeoAJ Collaboration
Joanna Penelope Hart had never been the type to initiate anything. For her entire life, she had always been the follower, the bottom to a top, and the sub in any situation you could think of. Whether it was taking a back seat to her three-minutes-older-than-her twin brother, Brad or obeying family law by being forced to move to London because of her sweet sixteen and what happened. She followed the leader for most of her life.

She even sometimes took a back seat to Lottie. She never cared because she realized that some people were meant to lead the charge in life and others were meant to follow the charging bulls of the world. Some were meant to have a fire lit while some existed to hold the candle to the open flame. But when Joey took some initiative and popped the E and drank until she felt her own fire being lit up, she knew this was right.

And what she knew to be right was kissing Jade.

When their lips touched, a magnetic explosion coursed through her body. For the first time in a while, she felt…alive. Maybe part of the reason was how hurt she felt that Lottie left her. And she knew it was wacky that she felt hurt by that. It wasn’t like they were together. They weren’t together. So there was no reason for her to feel like she betrayed anyone. No, there wasn’t any reason. Not only did she want to kiss Jade but she wanted to do it again, maybe even take it further than that.

“No, we’re not! She’s with Kiki. So, I’m not..”Joey turned around and saw up on the second floor where she saw someone at the window. For a moment, she thought she was seeing things but nope! She saw Kiki and a minute later she saw Lottie pull him away. Huffing, Joey pulled Jade into another kiss, though this time she began walking back. Slowly turning Jade around, Joey led her against a tree next to the table. She pulled away for a moment just to get some breathing room. “She’s up there with Kieran. And we’re not together.” So this could happen

Joey wanted to say to her but she stood there, just looking at how speechless her friend was. Joey was drunk, probably well on her way to being high and she was so, so, so confused. She felt like she was betraying Lotts but she was hurting so badly. “Jade, I don’t know what I want to do.”

That made two of them.

Jade wanted to be on the prowl. She wanted to be the same kind of person off the field that she was on the field. She wanted to be in control and taking charge of a situation and making the shot and burying the goal and getting the glory that she had yet to taste on a global stage.

She didn’t know she wanted this.

This was completely off the left flank. Joey was being so forceful. Jade didn’t know that the Hart girl had it in her. Seeing her around the sorority house, hanging around her roommate Lottie, following her tennis-playing best friend wherever she went. There was no way something this romantic should have happened like this.

And yet, here she was. The big girl on campus was pinned against a tree by a neon pixie. Jade was enjoying the hell out of it.

But it seemed like Joey was just as conflicted as Jade was. When Joey said that she and Lottie weren’t together, that her roommate was off with Kieran O’Connor… sorry, Kiki. Jade was never going to let him live that nickname down now that she was fully aware of it. Anyway, it did make sense that Lottie would choose to go after one of the stars of the Hawks’ hockey team. Note to self: ask Lottie if Kieran carries a big stick off the ice as well.

What did that mean for Joey, though? Here she was; lips quivering, the bourbon and the headbutt probably having done a number on her already, possibly having just realized that she was no longer in a relationship. Jade may literally have been the first person she ran into. Was it right to take advantage of such a situation? On the field, if an opponent made a mistake, Jade was more than happy to pounce on it for an easy opportunity to score. This was real life. The chance for error ranged far wider than just a missed shot on goal. She had to be responsible here.

Jade finally let her hand fall from the back of Joey’s neck and rest on the New York girl’s shoulder. “Joey… I’m not going to lie and say that this wouldn’t check something off a list for me that’s been there for a little bit, but you have to look at me for a second. Take a minute and take a breath with me, OK? I know you’ve already had more booze than me. I know you took a vicious hit to the head. I know you just saw your roommate with some half-naked dumbass jock. I just want you to take this minute, and make sure that you’re doing what you want, OK? Because if I’m truly what you want in that way, I’m more than happy to be that right now. But if you’re doing this because of all those other things, I don’t want you to hurt yourself like that.

Because I don’t want to be something you regret. I don’t think I can live with that. So Joey, I’m happy to stay here with you and we can do whatever you want. But you have to be sure that it’s what you, not the booze, not the concussion, not the hurt, it’s gotta be what you want. You get what I’m saying?”

As she brought herself to follow Jade’s advice, Joey took in a breath, which caused her to wince from the pain emanating from her forehead but she did it and a few more times, at that! With every inhale came a brief exhale and soon she was slightly less agitated than she had been and then she tried to process everything Jade had said.

If she was honest with herself right now, she was annoyed. She wasn’t annoyed at Jade (well not majorly so). No, her irritation was one-hundred percent directed at Lottie and KiKi. It was directed at how they were allowed to have fun and Joey, even though Jade did say she was fine with it if she was doing it for the right reasons (she wasn’t). But she didn’t know. Even now, as the usually bubbly girl sourily stared at the pair of enticing chocolate kisses and full lips she wanted to kiss again. She had enough of a buzz to know that maybe she shouldn’t but she wasn’t at the point to where Jade should feel guilty. Still, maybe that wasn’t the question she should be asking herself or Jade for that matter.

“I don’t know, maybe you’re right,” the girl spoke, biting her lip. “I don’t even know why I’m mad at them. Lottie and Kieran, I mean. There’s no exclusive anything, so it’s not like I have a reason to be buttmad at them, right?” She asked Jade, hoping for some outside perspective and maybe for someone to help her make sense of it all.

Jade slowly guided Joey to the ground, leaning her back against the tree that was not two minutes earlier was supporting Jade’s back for an entirely different kind of connection. She kept her arm wrapped around her shoulder though. She read enough teammates in the locker room to know that no matter what, Joey needed to feel that someone was looking out for her at this moment in time. “Well,” she started. “Don’t take this the wrong way, but until you told me you and Lottie weren’t together, I definitely thought you were together. I mean, you two are pretty much inseparable at the sorority. But even if you’re not, and my best friend ditched me to go hump some dumbass pucks-for-brains Canuck, I’d be pretty ticked about that. Course, y’all ditched me back at the house and I came here by myself, so who the hell knows anything?

“Anyway, the point I’m trying to make here is that you have a right to your feelings, Joey. You have a right to be really ticked off about how Lottie treated you tonight. Now, maybe she’s the type of girl who will make it up to you later, or tomorrow, or some time. But for now, your feelings are perfectly valid, and you have a right to be royally ticked.”

Jade wasn’t sure where she was going with this. A part of her brain still wanted her to add “And if fucking me under this tree will help you work out being ticked, then I’m happy to help.” But she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She didn’t get that much vodka into her yet. Besides, Evil Jade was just a rumor.

“Oh my God!” She chirped, frowning almost instantly, appearing about as distraught as anyone could. “I’m so sorry! We didn’t mean to intentionally leave you behind!” Joey looked like a puppy dog who just got yelled at for the first time by their master. “I mean, there was a lot going on before the party and I swear it wasn’t intentional!” She spoke, knowing full well exactly what made her and Lotts forget Jade, which only made Joey feel worse about it. “I just..this whole day was a mess and that’s even before what’s happening now.” She held her head, feeling the headache was getting worse by the minute.“I need to sit down.” Not waiting for the chance to park it on one of the couches inside the cabin, Joey slid down and sat on the cold ground, her legs feeling the full brunt of the coolness she leaned against the rough bark of the tree where she had pressed Jade against a few moments ago.

She felt like the entire room was spinning, or maybe she was. It was so hard for her to deal with what was happening. She didn’t understand why seeing Lottie with him bothered her so much, nor did she understand why she felt like she was betraying her best friend by kissing Jade. The image of Lottie being mad at her made her want to die and that’s exactly where her mind went as soon as she pictured the conversation that they might have. She assumed the worst and it was starting to show as Joey curled her legs close to her chest and locked her arms over her knees, and started to lightly sob, whimpering somewhat.

Apparently Evil Jade was more than just a rumor. There was no need for the Colorado native to inject that petty barb in what was supposed to be a speech to make Joey feel better. Maybe she was in the vodka more than she thought. “Hey, hey, hey, Joey. Joey! Joey! Girl! It’s OK! I’m not really that mad! I’m kidding! Girl, come here!”

Jade didn’t have a lot of experience dealing with mental breakdowns, but she had seen enough comforting going on when looking over at opposing benches. She wrapped her arms around Joey and pulled her close. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to make you cry like that! I would never mean that! Fuck… It’s OK! It’s going to be OK! I mean, I can talk to Lottie and try and smooth things out? Or… I don’t know! Just please stop crying, Joey! I’m sorry…”

When Jade had mentioned she’d talk to Lottie, as if wanting the complete opposite, Joey clung to her for dear life, looking at her with a desperation in her eyes, glitter meshed with rainbow mascara and she slowly shook her head. “No don’t be!” She wiped her tears away and with it, an ungodly display of pixie dust transferring from her face to hands. “I’m okay! I swear! You don’t have to talk to her!” Joey masked an obvious cry for help under a smile that she had perfected. It was her go to when she wanted to prevent certain things from happening. Jade talking to Lottie was one of them.

“OK, OK, I won’t do that,” Jade affirmed. Whatever she needed to do to help Joey snap out of this state. “Joey, look. I can’t pretend to know what exactly the levels are between you and Lottie. Truth is, I don’t really have any experience with anyone that much. But, it’s obvious that this is hurting you in some way. And if I’m not going to talk to Lottie about it, then maybe you need to. You two need to figure out exactly what you have, because if you’re not together, and you’re not open, then seeing that maple-chugging beaver jockey with Lottie shouldn’t bother you to this point. I mean, you’re a freaking amazing girl! You come up with such great fashion designs those poutine-eating mountie huggers would have their minds blown. That Canucklepuck can’t compete with you!” She gave Joey an affectionate shake. “Now tell me that you got this, like the New York girl I know you are!”

Joey was a mess right now, but Jade got her to smile and giggle; not only did she manage that, but everything she said was correct. It wasn’t like Joey didn’t agree with her. But on some level, maybe she couldn’t bring herself to do that just yet - at least, not in the way Jade wanted her to. “I don’t know--” She caught Jade’s glance and perked up. “I mean, I got this!” She proclaimed with half the conviction she would have if she truly believed what she said.

Jade beamed, not sure if she totally got through to Joey but thrilled with the result either way. “That’s my girl!” She triumphantly leaned forward and planted another kiss on Joey’s lips.

I probably shouldn’t have done that. That definitely wasn’t smart. After all that talking. Why did I do that? Fuck! Brush it off Jade. Brush it off!

She quickly retreated from Joey’s face and looked at her. “I’m sorry, Joey! I got excited! That’s how we celebrate on the pitch!”

As she sat there, her eyes gazing upon Jade’s weary expression and still in shock -- well, not shock but more like she was caught off-guard. The more she thought about it, this must’ve been what Jade felt when Joey kissed her. Unprepared for the sudden union of lips and the pure electricity causing the heart to pump faster, because that’s what Joey felt as soon as their lips touched.

“I didn’t mind,” Joey smirked at Jade, somewhat fidgeting her fingers together. “You’re a great kisser, Jade Scott!” She giggled, nudging her shoulder. “I could use a dip in the lake. Need to rinse off all of this glitter and rundown makeup.” Joey stood up, brushing the dirt off her neon bodysuit. “Wanna join me?”

Crisis averted.

At least the initial one anyway. Still, Jade did manage to get Joey’s mind off her problems for the moment and if kissing Joey in a fit of excitement and potential passion was the way to do that, then who was she to judge? Things were great now! Joey was OK. Lottie could be dealt with once she was done sucking maple sap from that timbit-scarfing lumberjack. For now, some physical activity sounded like a great idea.

“You know, I didn’t bother wearing a swimsuit, but I don’t think that’s going to matter,” Jade answered. “Let’s get wet, Joey!”

Elliot wasn't really sure what he expected from Bastien but it certainly wasn't what ended up happening. The darker-haired male at the keyboard stood up, now Elliot was 1 inch shy of 6 feet which made him pretty tall so to have someone be able to stare down at him was a little off putting. Combined with the way he spoke his name and stared at him began to make him feel a whole lot smaller, if Elliot had been feeling uncomfortable before now he was downright miserable. He took a step back to try and escape the hellish situation was in but apparently god was not on his side that day and thought it would be amusing to see him suffer...there was a damn wall right behind him.

"Dude, do you have to be so damn close?" He asked, more muttered actually. Bastien whispering did nothing to help this weird scenario. Based on the way that he was talking Elliot was pretty damn sure that the other male was getting a kick out of it all. He could feel his face getting hot as his annoyance level flared up, he had to dig his nails into the palm of his hand to stop himself from pushing this guy away, he had been trying extremely hard to not act on his emotions and didn't want to ruin his good streak.

God he hated the smile that was on his face, he even had the audacity to think he stooped so low as to post his art on Instagram. He felt some relief when Bastien took a step backk, Elliot took that opportunity to move off to the side away from him. "You know, I was giving you a compliment earlier because I thought that being able to play an instrument was really awesome, but apparently your too much of a dick to accept it." Elliot might have been able to hold himself back physically but there was no way he was going to be able to hold his tongue.

He was annoyed and pissed, a combination that probably didn't do too well together. Elliot walked over to the stairs that led back downstairs, turning slightly to look at Bastien again with an angry look. "Anyone would have seen that I was being nice so fuck you, dude. Also I would never post my art to Instagram, that would be an insult to my photos." With that he walked down the stairs to the lower level of the cabin, meandering his way through the throng of students who were still partying and dancing to the booming music. He was hot and just wanted to go back the apartment, it had been a mistake to even come to the damned party in the first place.

The second Theo’s fist made contact with Cassian, Lola winced. It should’ve been a crime to put so much as a dent in that perfect face- and if it would’ve been her the one to get punched, she’d most definitely be filing charges against whoever it was. Yet she should’ve known better than to think Cass wouldn’t put his own combat skills to action. The red-head’s next punch barely grazed Cass’ cheek, and the Asian male went right into defense mode with a punch to Theo’s jaw, a maneuver to unlock himself from his straddle, and a kick to the chest that had Lola smirking to herself.

But it seemed Cassian wasn’t done with Theo just yet, because he took advantage of his opponent’s crippled state to deliver some verbal blows that were most likely far more hurtful than any physical action he could’ve taken. It was something both he and Lola had in common. They knew their words caused more damage than blows, and they weren't afraid to use them to their advantage as the ultimate means to an end. The first few sentences were said in a tone of voice far too low for the blonde to hear, but his next phrases rang as clear as church bells announcing the beginning of mass, and they made Lola snort and shake her head. As cringe-worthy as those dialogue lines had been, there was no denying that smug bastard really knew how to put on a show.

Lola’s judgement, however, was short-lived. In the blink of an eye, the man was back on his feet and stalking away. If it wasn’t for her quick reaction in racing after him, she would’ve lost him to the crowd in no time. Thankfully, she was fast enough to catch up.

“Seriously, Cass? ‘I’ll make sure to let you know how she sounds under me’? ‘Find me later when you want to play with a big boy’? Seriously?” Lola sneered loudly as she chased him, scoffing and rolling her eyes at how utterly ridiculous his statement had sounded… Almost as if he believed what he was saying to be something he wanted to go through. “God, that has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard you say- and I’ve heard you say plenty of dumb things throughout the years. Clearly that tackle had you hitting your big head against the ground pretty hard, because only brain trauma would have you actually thinking that tomboy girl is even remotely attractive in any way, shape or form.”

“Tough shit, Nero!” Diana “Dee” Valentine called out from the sidelines. With her arms crossed, she gave him a ‘what are you going to do about it’ face and then smirked, fully knowing someone’s panties were not only just wet, but now in a bunch.

With interference from a football, and now the lake getting crowded, Junie Baby was displeased. While she felt the need to twitch her eyes, she kept a gentle smile on, while she fixed her hair from the splash. Maneuvering her way to the football, the thin redhead grabbed it and started making her way out of the lake, her nipples visible through her dress. “Ty, who’s your friend?” She gestured for him to follow her, the moment ruined, and started making her way to Dee, passing Joey and Jade to get to her.

Dee was the daughter of the Director of Music Education at Meadow University and the Senior United States District Judge for the District of Vermont. Junie was well aware of who her beloved associated with, she simply wanted to hear his response. After all, having someone treat his future girlfriend like a punching bag wasn’t a trait she sought in the man she’d dedicate her life to. Watching the other girl take a cup of beer from someone nearby, Junie kept calm and collected, showing no annoyance whatsoever, for appearance's sake.

“You promised you wouldn’t be revolting, dude. Are you trying to be like every other couple here?” Dee visibly grimaced; a girl who absolutely despised PDA especially when it came to Ty.

Rolling his eyes, Ty did his best to give Junie a look of reassurance. “My friend Dee. She’s…. Like another sister. Huge pain in my ass. I gotta look out for her,” rambling as he tried to explain, the young man sighed in defeat. Everything had been going great until Dee showed up and decided she didn’t approve of what was going down. Now Junie was most likely pissed and Dee was…. Being Dee.

Turning back to his friend, Ty gave the blonde woman a pissed off look. “I mean if being like every other couple here includes showing my kinda date a good time, then yeah. I guess I am.” He sighed, shaking his head. “Why are you here and why are you throwing footballs at peoples heads, man?”

“Bored. Had nothing better to do.” Dee bluntly admitted. Aside from the fact that she didn’t want to be home, since she was one of the few students that commuted, she found herself in need to pester her big ‘brother’ as if her life depended on it.

“Here.” Junie handed the football back, and proceeded to introduce herself, “Junie—”

“I know.” The small blonde said matter-of-factly.

“O-K.” Junie knew the alcohol would start making her do something she’d regret in the morning, because now, seeing Diana’s face and hearing her responses were starting to enrage her even more than she could contain. If she weren’t inebriated, she might’ve even used her pretty manicure nails to cut the girl’s face, but at last, she was in no state of mind to reveal her fangs to Ty. Honestly, it’s because Ty was standing there that she kept the ‘tude to a minimum. “I’m going to get a drink. You coming?” She gave the boy the option to stay or go, but she was leaving regardless of his decision.

Standing there as the girls had a small exchange, Ty couldn’t believe just how fucked up things had become in a split second. He was finally going to get to kiss Junie after three freaking years. Why did the universe hate him so much?

Simply nodding at Junie's suggestion, Ty climbed out of the water and offered a hand to the red head before saying one last thing to Dee. ”Go find another source of entertainment, please.”

“Whatever.” Dee tossed the ball up and down in her left hand, beer in the other. Up and down. “Don’t get your pretty girl knocked up. I’m sure your father would hate that.” Purposely, she left with a verbal jab before disappearing into the crowd, knowing more about Ty’s relationship with his parents than any of his friends, including his Baby.

”You’ve got to be shitting me…” Ty mumbled as she walked away. The last thing Ty wanted to talk about was his family, and now there was a fifty-fifty chance that Junie was going to bring it up. Normally, Ty would say something petty right back to Dee, but he was trying his best to remain calm and gentleman-like at the moment. ”Come on,” he said, looking at Junie. ”Let's go grab that other drink you were talking about.”

“Actually…” Having noticed the brief moment of tension in Ty’s facial expression, Junie decided to take matters into her own hands. “Why don’t you.. and me… get out of here?” Trying to disregard the unwanted appearance of his friend, a needy little bitch she’d say, Junie wrapped her arms around him once more. If they were going to keep getting interrupted, what was the point of staying? He was the main reason why she was here. “...then we could do more than just kissing.”

Large crowds and parties had always been more of Jaspers thing than Ty’s, so when Junie suggested that they slip away, he was more than glad. Add that to the bonus that she was full blown flirting - Ty might dare say that he was a happy man at the moment. Kissing her forehead as he detached himself from her, Ty bent over to pick up their things off the ground where they laid beside the lake. Handing Junies things back to her as he slipped his shirt back on, Ty unlocked his phone and wrapped his free arm around her waist.

”Sounds like an excellent plan. I’ll go ahead and order the uber. We can go back to my dorm, if you want? Seems like everyone from school is going to be here a while, so…”

Yes! Junie mentally chirped. For as long as they’ve known each other, she had never stepped into his room. Maybe she could take something of his, as a keepsake. Maybe she’d leave a little something behind too. Sure, she didn’t think they’d make it back to anyone’s place before they had sex, she honestly thought they’d just fuck on the beach, but perhaps Dee interrupting them was a blessing in disguise. They’d have his dorm to themselves, and they could do… whatever they wanted. However they wanted.

“I’d like that.” She smiled up at him, honestly excited and even thinking about her morning call with her twin, gushing about all the juicy details of her and Ty’s adventurous night. “Ah, but I don't have a change of clothes.” She coyishly muttered, as she displayed her damp dress that stuck close to her dainty body. After swiftly putting her boots back on, she looked up at him watching her, with hunger in his eyes.

”You won’t need any,” he said, smiling down at her. And he meant it. Ty seriously doubted that either of them would be wearing clothes for the remainder of the night. Besides, if she was that worried, she could borrow one of his shirts or something.

She wasn’t worried. Not at all. Simply fishing to hear his remarks. With a rising grin, Junie held her purse and phone in one hand, his arm in the other, and gave an inquisitive purr, “Mm, is that so?” before they both made their way out of the crowd and into the woods.

MacKenna was so focused on the game in front of her to notice that Theo was almost boiling over as he stared at the smirking idiot standing a few feet away. It wasn’t until she heard a dull thud and an audible gasp coming from a random girl in the crowd that she turned around and saw Theodore sitting on top of Cassian. Her eyes widened in shock, she was frozen in place no matter how hard she tried to get her legs to move forward so she could break the two meatheads away from each other. It wasn’t until someone bumped into her while running over with their phone in hand, that Mac snapped back to reality and had full control over her body. Quickly as she could she fought her way through the forming crowd to the front.

“Stop it!” she screamed, “What’re you doing?! Get off!” MacKenna made a move to pull Theo of Cassian, but someone probably Aleric held her back. She was back to just being an onlooker in the crowd again. Watching in horror as the two “men” traded blows and spat insults at each other. Then out of nowhere, Theodore flew off his opponent and landed at her feet. Quickly Mac kneeled down to check that he was ok, but before she could get anything out of the redhead Cassian spoke.

“Better comfort your gorilla again before his ego takes anymore hits, Kiyo. Find me later when you want to play with a big boy.” he spat staring daggers at them. His signature smirk still intact, albeit bloody.

Usually, MacKenna would have spat back with an equally loaded comment but the situation had rendered her uncharacteristically mute. Instead, she could only stare after him as he walked away. Not long after one of his groupies rushed after him. Mac let out a frustrated breath as she rolled her eyes. “Alright! Shows over…” she lamented to the crowd waving her hands around signaling that they should disperse.

The dark-haired girl turned her attention back to the young man laying on the ground in front of her. She hoisted him up so that he was sitting as she checked that he was ok. As soon as she confirmed that nothing was wrong with him her face hardened.

“What the fuck is your problem?!” she scolded pushing him off her. She stood up brushing the grass from her looking down at him “Was that really necessary? Huh? You feel better now? God damn it, Theo… I thought better of you!” and with that, she was done. Mac turned around and began to walk away before turning back toward Connor “Maybe keep him in check huh? Go jerk off together or whatever gay shit you meatheads do to blow off steam!” she huffed turning on her heel disappearing into the laughing crowd.
