@Expendable Thanks for catching that. It's been fix'd. :) Also, armor is not considered clothes, so his chain mail things should also be listed in Equipment section. Same goes for leather boots, since they're technically a form of protection - at least more so than regular-ass shoes. No need to list the cape though, unless it's MAGIC.
Okay, moved armor, gauntlets and boots to equipment. Since they're not likely to drag him in front of the queen naked, I gave him a few pieces of clothes - linen blouse, pants, and a pair of leather slippers - but no hat, doublet, handkerchief, hose or codpiece. I'll just have the armor and other gear at the school.
The wool cloak, silk school blouse, and handkerchiefs are decidedly unmagic. Since magic here is limited to wands and books, wasn't sure magic clothing was allowed.
"Well, I know he's sleeping in that barn with twelve other men who seem to hang on his every word, but somehow he manages to turn a simple cup of water into a very nicely aged claret."
There's an old book called Japanese Inn, and it's a story of a former samurai who decided after a war that he wanted to retire and open an inn on the Tokaido Road. It then touches in part how Minaguchi-ya becomes interwoven in 400 years of Japanese history.
@Cyrania Awww, that's a shame. :( I hope your schedule clears up and you get sore free time soon though. Thanks for the shown interest.
[@Everyone Else] Since I don't want to keep you good noodles who've finished your CS'es already waiting too long, I'm now going to announce that this Wednesday will be the final deadline for anyone who hasn't finished, or still wants to edit, their sheet or submit a brand new character.
If your CS isn't done/finished up by then, well... You'll just have to to see if a spot opens up in the future.
Which brings me to the next point.
I want to reiterate what I said in the Interest Check:
Characters will not be accepted on a first come, first serve-basis. I will accept characters based on either my personal preference or on which characters I feel fits the setting the best. If you end up not getting one of the 7 remaining spots, please don't take it personal or as me saying your character is "bad" or "not good enough"
Those who don't get into the RP, at this time, may choose to reserve a spot on a waitlist though. And if an accepted player has to leave, or drops out, you'll be contacted via PM to let you know that there's an open spot. The waitlist will follow first come, first serve-protocols however, so whoever got their CS in the fastest - but didn't get picked - will be first in the queue.
I wish I could just accept everyone in and let you all run loose in this silly world. But, I just don't have the confidence as a GM that I could keep up with all 10+ of you, not when I also have a day-job. So again, I apologize to anyone in advance who'll feel like they got snubbed or robbed, or like they wasted time waiting on something and didn't get it. Perhaps in the future, if I do another roleplay, I can manage a bigger group. But that time is sadly not now.
With that out of the way, I'd also like to point anyone who hasn't noticed it yet to the Character Tab, where a very basic map/zone thingymuhbob has been added. I'll be filling it out bit by bit, so check back for updates~
Height: 5'3 Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Pale Blonde
Description: Adrila is your average elf height, not standing very tall or very short. She has a soft, gentle face with laugh lines ingrained in it. She has straight, white hair that she keeps exceptionally long even though having such long hair can be such a pain at times. She can be seen wearing form fitting tunics of a deep forest green color with multiple layers of clothing underneath. She wears thin bracers along her wrists to keep her sleeves down and a thick belt around her waist with a long cloak, woven into her tunic.
Personality: If there is anyone who is a stickler for the rules, Adrila would be it. She likes order, and plans, and when things follow those orders and plans. After being alive for more than a century, she has learned a thing on two on how to deal with people and to get them to do what needs to be done, nicely. She has too kind of a heart to really push people more than they need to be and really hates when she has to be rude to someone to get something done, but she will do it if she has to. She does have her moments, however, where her youthful emotions get the better of her and she has a bit of an outburst if things seem to be spiraling out of control but usually, she's very calm headed and in control.
Quirks: - When deep in thought, she'll twirl her hands and when absolutely consumed by an idea, she might snap by her ear as she thinks. She isn't sure where she got it or why she developed it but it helps her stay focused on the task at hand, the snapping especially since it gives her a rhythm she can focus onto. - Adrila tends to have high anxiety and combats that by covering every little detail of her work. It's not bad enough to be considered OCD with rituals, but she likes to have every step covered and if things tend to sway off the path, she'll have a backup plan for her backup plan. - If her backup plan for her backup plan starts to fall through, Adrila's anxiety can cause her to malfunction at time. She might try to figure out where her plans went wrong instead of focus on the problem at hand. She can get stuck in this rut for quite a while without someone helping pull her out of it.
Brief History: Adrila was born to a mid class family who had connections with nobility so she grew up going to balls and parties and learning in the same schools as the other children in higher economic classes than herself. During school, it because obvious very quickly that Adrila was a little- different from the other children. Where the other children spent more time with each other and focusing on non school matters, Adrila spent almost all her time with her nose in the books. She took extra classes, a healer's class being one of her favorite out of her electives and one she continued to progress with during her education at the school. She did, of course, have a few friends but most were bookworms like her. She graduated top of her class and was fought over by the nobles who all wanted her to be their advisor. Eventually, she settled into her new job and began getting things into running order. It didn't take long for everything to be to her liking, so she requested a small chance to go out in the world and explore. She advised the noble that her infrastructure would run by itself, almost perfectly, for a few weeks and she would come back in more than enough time to return to it. Of course, the noble agreed and off she went to see the world she never got to see. Till one day, she got lost and in a fit of anxiety and panic, came across the village.

@BunniesOfDoom That is a very cute faceclaim and I like her obsessive nature.
HOWEVER!
There's no such thing as Telekinetic or Healing Magic "schools". The closest you could get to it would be Wind Magic (for moving things at range by making the wind carry it) and Light/Holy Magic (for casting Holy Healing spells).
I'd also urge you to check the "Magic:" hider and the "Spell List"-section therein, to properly list your spells.
Other than these bits though, she looks fine. Althought I'm not sure Village Chief is an "occupation" you can have before settling into and living in a place... xD

I'll go take a look and modify it.
So everyone else gets to just claim their jobs and I gotta work for mine! Not fair! Fine, fine. She'll work for it. Like a mad scientist trying to prove God is fake.
@ERode I suppose that's true. Money can buy a lot of things. Even political power. :P
And yes, since Bunnies has finished their sheet, there'll be no need to wait. Once they're done with the edits I pointed out, I can begin the selection process.
... And make a bunch of people sad... T-T
... But a bunch will get to be happy too! So, silver lining?

Alrighty then. After going through the pages and looking all the CS'es, and I don't think I missed anone, a decision has been made and 7 characters have been approved.
Those on the list below, feel free to post your character sheets in the Character Tab at your leisure.
To those of you (@Mistress Dizzy, @Sho Minazuki, @Expendable, @Crowvette) who didn't get to join at this time, please let me know if you'd like to reserve a spot on the waitlist. If any spot(s) should open up in the future, I'll contact you via PM or VM and let you know. If you don't want a spot on the waitlist you can state that as well, or simply not reply at all.
If you feel that you need to discuss the results of the selection for some reason, please do so by sending me a PM, don't do it here in the OOC.
With all of that said, and the cast selected, I'll start working on the intro and first IC post tomorrow after work, so this thing can finally get started.
Thanks to everyone for showing interest in this idea and for having the paetience to stick around. I really appreciate it. :)
