Spectrum couldn't remember how he had gotten on the beach, but here he was and it scared him. He was scared of what might have happened to him during his lost hours and wanted to find what was going on. He remembered Camile and what she had done to the Reformists' HQ and he had wanted to give chase, but Charles was more worried about the wounded and let her escape.

"Hello!" he called out over the sand, he hoped that would get a response from someone unless he was stranded on a abandoned island. No matter once he detirmed where he was and if there were anyone else on the island then he would use his flight to take off from place and find his way back normal civilization.

Casper

Ann's memory of what was quickly faded fast. Sounds of panicked shrieks, gushing blood, and massive earth moving sounds were replaced by the rhythmic and gentle waves flowing onto the perfect white sandy beach. There were gulls calling from a distant and a light breeze gently stirred up the branches of nearby palms.

Sights of bloody corpses, burning buildings, and apocalypse were, too, replaced by the sights of a paradise. Ann wearily opened her eyes, in utter disbelief as those very few glimpses of reality faded fast from her mind. She saw a magnificent view of blue horizon meeting a cloudless blue sky. Gulls were flying through the sky without a care in the world and Ann could swear she was seeing dolphins surface for a breath of air in the distance. In her peripherals, the beachfront wrapped in a loose crescent shape, forming a sort of bay area. Looking down, Ann saw that she wasn't wearing... whatever she was wearing from before and was now adorned in a solid navy blue bikini top and bottom.

Confused, Ann stirred a bit but a small hand settled Ann's discomfort as a childish voice spoke out. Ann turned and saw, also expected, Camille. How do I know her? Since when did I know her? Why did I expect her? Ann's mind stirred once again but her mind quickly settled as she looked around for the crocodile balloon that was now sounding quite intriguing.

"Oh-uh... Okay!" Ann answered and asked excitedly, even though she still had not seen this crocodile balloon.

Ann got to her feet and ushered Camille on to lead the way. It was strange but Ann had a feeling in her gut that something was missing... Maybe not a something but rather a someone. Ann wasn't sure but when she looked around expecting to find somebody else. All she saw, however, was Camille leading on and several other people off in either direction looking just as puzzled as she was.

Sweet Honey

Maybe it was the worst trip she had ever experienced but Honey Day did not remember how she ended up laying on a beach in her red with white polkadot two-piece swimsuit that looked a bit from the 1970s. She didn't question it, but instead rather enjoyed it. Life felt so... alive here!

"Far Out..." She said to nobody in particular as she glanced around. She wasn't in California anymore, that was for sure. But where was everybody? Beaches like these were prime targets for crowds and tourists. Again, not that Honey was complaining.

A quick search around her surroundings provided evidence that Honey was pretty much all on her own but just as she was about to settle with that fact, she saw some stirring figures inside a sort of bay area. Honey was positioned on a stretch of beach, just where the tip of the bay ended. She waved and called out but soon realized that she was probably too far away.

It was tempting to just walk over there but Honey didn't have too many days at the beach before and the whole bay was just swimming with life that she couldn't resist it. She charged in and plunged head first into the cool blue water, not bothering to surface. Breathing wasn't going to be a problem as her body began to molt and form stalks of kelp, branches of coral, and various aquatic invertebrates. Exhaling her last bit of water, she walked on the bay's bottom like a living reef, attracting many colorful fish. Honey was the happiest she could be as she became the most popular thing in the bay at that moment.

"Damn it all." Isaac muttered, uncharacteristically annoyed.
He glared quietly at the sea from under the shade of a parasol. He sat, hunched over in defeat whilst sitting on a colourful beach towel. When the mysterious force had spontaneously appeared and shown their advanced technology, he'd feared the worst. Somehow, what he got was worse than that. The beach... His worst enemy.

"Who did this to me..." He muttered murderously.
Part of his hate was that he couldn't swim. Another part of his hate was that sand got into his clothes and made it difficult to work. The last part of his hate was the sun's heat, inexplicably magnified despite being within meters of a water source. This normally didn't bother Isaac that much, but he'd lost his scalpels somehow and the beach was full of people, likely Metas, which he couldn't cut up.

You see, Isaac mildly disliked the beach, but he disliked doing pointless things. As it stood, he couldn't do anything. He had no tools, it was in daylight and he couldn't see any of his allies. For some reason, everyone at the beach was wearing swimsuits. Fortunately for Isaac, he was spared the embarrassment as he had his normal attire on. With that said, it would be a pain to clean up, and he didn't have the time to do it.

Bottom line was, he didn't have anything to do, and that annoyed him.
Isaac glared and muttered darkly as he sat under the shade of the parasol, wishing for it to be over.

---------------------------

"What the-" Loki said, sitting up.
A beach met his eyes, filled with people in swim suits. He wasn't sure what just happened and what he'd been doing was a secret, but it was rather confusing. He looked around and saw that there were shops open on the seemingly out of place tropical island.

"Ooh, ice-cream!" He said, weaving his way through the crowd towards the ice cream stand.
He didn't pay any more mind to the weirdness of the situation and brought some ice-cream to eat.

Camille Mahroug - Race to the Croc!

Ann complied and seemed just as absorbed as Camille in this strange world's premise, almost as if it was the reality they had been living for their entire lives. Camille turned to face the see, hand pressed against her forehead in a marine-like salute so shade her eyes from the merciless sun and glance at the never ending blue before her. At the end of the beach, an crocodile inflatable was casually floating on the shallow end of the sea, sailing calmly with the flow of the waves. Camille pointed at its direction with a child's grin on her face.

"Heehee, last one there has to sit on the tail!"

Without even acknowledging her new best friend's consent to the random game, the little frenchie sprinted down the small dunes of burning sand without her flops on. She was barely paying any attention to possible bystanders that her little race could bother during this peaceful day. As she ran she made a few unlucky victims who had the luck of being near her trajectory toward the water. Namely Loki would have a small storm of sand thrown at him from Camille's large and repetitive steps on the thin sand, his ice cream having absolutely no chance of survival from the obviously overpowered sneak attack. Then came Isaac, who was being all grumpy under his parasol. Camille noticed him because of his usual attire which differed a whole lot from the rest of the people around.

"Iiiiisaaaaaaaaaccccc!"

She wailed like a war cry as she dashed right pass him, a breeze of wind filled with sand would indiscriminately shower his clothes and parasol while Camille pursued her goal to reach the inflatable croc first. She wanted to win and just rub it in her friend's face before realizing the tail would be much more fun anyway.

Aya spun at the voice calling out to her. Walking over was a very tall, very cut man with no shirt on. Aya was pretty sure she recognized him from the base, but for the life of her, she couldn't remember his name. All she knew was that he could clone himself and that he had very nice abs – though, that was a more recent discovery. Trying very hard not to blush, Aya turned her gaze down to the floor, but the sun reflecting off the sand hurt to look at. She glanced up to his face and then off to the side, trying to pick something to look at that wouldn't make this situation worse.

"I, uh… I'm sorry, but I just woke up," she managed to reply. "I haven't really seen anyone but you." She tried to think of the description he'd given. Dark hair and kinda pervy?

Might as well have been talking about me…

Her mortification doubled at that thought but she tried very very hard not to show it. Grasping for some line of thought that didn't end with her face looking like a tomato, she glanced up at him again and asked, "You don't know what's going on, do you? I don't really know how I got here which should freak me out more than it does."

"I haven't really seen anyone but you."

Those were not the words Nate wanted to hear. He was supposed to be protecting Jackson and now he had lost him. He pulled the sunglasses from his head and ran a hand through his hair as he looked off down the beach, paying very little attention to the way Aya looked at him. Maybe Jackson wasn't here at all. "Damn fine job you did there" he heard a voice in his head tell him. The next thing the girl said to him made him think though.

"You don't know what's going on, do you? I don't really know how I got here which should freak me out more than it does."

"I remember...lights and loud noises...but it's honestly kind of a blur" It kind of annoyed Nate that he couldn't remember what had happened to him but the more he thought about it, the more he realized that he actually didn't care all that much. He was here now and he was fine with it. That in itself was pretty weird. He breathed in deeply and exhaled the air through his nose just as slowly. He'd tackle one thing at a time and right now his priority was Jackson. He should introduce himself to this girl. And so he turned back to her and smiled, extending his hand and informing her "My name's Nate by the way"

Avarice and Cer had noticed their presence weeks ago when they look down the THOR satellite. Cer had been secretly throwing her energy out into the universe, so far she had found galaxies that lay light years ahead of anything humans could even see, they had seen her the whole time. Cer had been gone a lot and people hadn't asked what she had been up to, in her own way she'd done something pretty evil by not saying anything. Avarice had been expecting them but they had been Expecting Cer, she smiled when the flood lights shined in her windows and gave them hell for a few minuets. It wasn't very fair, they opened fire and she only managed to stay awake for that long. They were surprised, that was what mattered.
---

Avarice felt her self swirling in involuntary exhaustion when the voices pierced through the clouds,
"We are pumping enough tranquilizer into you to kill an earth whale, if you keep fighting your body will eventually be unable to detox and you will die. We are giving you fair warning now let go." A cold voice rang and for once in her short life, she listened. The world began to fade she had to hold onto a thought, she couldn't fight them physically but she could fight them mentally. It felt futile but she'd do it anyway I have to Remember...

---
Avarice woke to the sound of waves crashing onto the shore and the only thought in her mind was to remember though she didn't know what. Looking to her left there was a girl in the same swimsuit but in white, she looked almost exactly the same as Avarice but she had no clue who this girl was. Sitting up from her beach chair she realized her hair was blonde.... hadn't it always been that way? She wasn't sure but it seemed monumentally unimportant. Avarice was in shock, she had always seen the world but never felt it. Why that was she couldn't recall.

Turning away from the ocean she decided that she would try one of those tropical drink things that tasted more like juice than alcohol. Grabbing her sandals she walked towards the resort buildings. Maybe she could find some real clothing too, she doubted anyone could take her seriously dressed the way she was.

Of course he was cute when he smiled. Really, this was just unfair. But at least he seemed oblivious to her embarassment.

"Aya," she replied when she remembered he was still waiting on her. She took his hand to shake it and her mind flashed back to a faded memory. Hadn't she just taken someone else's hand? Hadn't it… hurt? Aya pulled her hand back too quickly to be polite, but then the memory was gone and she couldn't recall what had seemed so important in the first place. Clearing her throat, Aya looked back up to Nate.

"So," she tried awkwardly, "This friend you're looking for – what's his name? I could try helping you. I mean, it's not like I have anything else to do right now."

Eli laid on the floor of a hut, the door was open and the floor was rickety under his weight. When he opened his eyes the sight of the ocean through the door was not too far off. He laid still for a moment, wondering how he got here. He could remember someone crying, holding her trying to make it better.

After he saw the ocean he shut his eyes again in case anyone was watching him. He listend for a second, the only thing he could hear was the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, and a couple of seagulls. When he got tired of waiting for something to happen he opened his eyes and raised a hand in front of him, with only a thought it ignited in flames.Well if nothing else he had his power going for him.

"Are you okay Chief?" A booming voice said.

Eli jumped to his feet and in shock."Jim!? What are you doing here!?" Eli wore a face of shock and surprise. He was supposed to be dead, wasn't he? Didn't something happen?

"You've been on that floor for a day now. Toss'n and turn'n, thought you might die at any momnet. You been drunk going on two days now, ought to slow down a bit, enjoy where we are."

"What..? I thought..."

"Cheif, you don't remember? We got promoted just the other day. I'm a Lieutenant and your a Chief Warrant Officer now. You don't remember? "

"Jim, I swear you were dead. I saw it, I did it, brother you were dead as 4am."

"That's all the drink messin your head up come now boy." Jim Harper, Eli's Craigs long dead friend was standing in front of him with a hand extended, waiting for Eli to grab it. This was one of those defining moments in a person's life, Eli could keep fighting or, maybe, for once, he could stop. He could stop fighting every battle he saw, and just be a normal person. It was a opportunity that was seldom given and be damned if Elijah Craig wasn't gonna take.

"Must've hit my head and got that amnesia shit. "Eli took his hand and got off the floor. Eli looked around him, he was in what most people would call a small four room shack. Just enough space to move around in, just enough space for two maybe three people to live in. For someone like Elijah Craig, it was perfect.

With a smile in his face Elijah looked himself over, he was as every bit as in shape as his station in the Special Forces would demand if not better. His body was made up of hard, lean and ripped muscle.

The myriad of scars that once covered his body were gone, now replaced by ones of a much lesser extent. There were some scars left by a knife or two, even one that told a story of being shot three times. Even still was a massive improvement over what it used to be.

All he had on was a pair of cargo shorts. A haggerd and worn pair that looked to have seen as many bad days as the man who was wearing them. Like the man wearing them, they were a little frayed at the edges, a tiny hole here it there but that was about it.

"Or you just drank yourself stupid. " Jim Harper's voice bombed. Jim was larger man, standing over six feet tall, in the same physical condition of Eli. His voice was loud and commanded attention. Jim was handsome man in that was counter to Elijah. Were as Elijah was had rugged good looks going for him, Jim looked more like three piece suit kinda guy.

"I'd argue that but it won't do a bit of good. You ain't likely wrong." Eli said with a smile that said he was proud of the fact. Elijah Craig hugged the man in front of him and thanked him for always being the friend he needed. "Now let's go see what trouble we can scare up." With that he was walking out the door. Till the booming voice stopped him. As he turned to see why he was stopped.

"EC, you might this! " Jim Harper threw a 12 string guitar at Elijah. Painted in this guitar was two tribal animals, a cougar on the top, and great white shark on the bottom. Both animals had a meaning to them. The cougar was meant to symbolize Leadership, loyalty, courage, taking responsibility, foresight, the shark on the other hand was for survival, and adaptability. This was gift given by both mothers of Jim and Elijah. It wasn't as old as one would think it would be, but was none the less warn. When it reached Elijah's hands a smile lit up his face. It was old gift that was laid low with his best friend. The moment it was wrapped around him he started playing the malaguena

"Let's go Harper, I only got do much daylight to burn." Eli shouted.

"Yoooo!" came warbling distorted voice from above. Slowly, painfully, he opened up his eyes to see some sort of golden beach Adonis looking down on him from on high, speaking through a megaphone. He leaned up from the white ladder leading up to where the perfect human specimen perched, rubbing his head and thinking about how much he's like to drag the pretty bastard down to the ocean and give his head a good dunking. "You can't sleep there man, what if someone drowns? I could twist my ankle jumping over you, and then what?"

He stood up, tentatively, as though he wasn't sure it was possible for him. He had the distinct, uncomfortable feeling that he really shouldn't be standing. Yet there he was, standing with no problems. He could even turn. He turned to get a good look at the rude dude who'd woken him up and found he wasn't at all shocked that the man sitting in the life guard station was wearing nothing but a bright red speedo, reflective sunglasses, and some white on his nose. He shook his head, trying to get a clear picture of what was going on, before saying, "Whooooo?"

The man looked at him questioningly, then shrugged and went "I don't know, what about that guy? He's fat, he could drown." he said pointing out a very fat man laying on a towel dressed distressingly similar to himself. The man brought the megaphone back up to his lips and shouted. "And kindly doooon't make fuuuun of hoooow I speeeeak! I don't make fun of your stupid head."

Oh that was it, this guy was going in the ocean! He sprung at the latter, climbing up with two deft moves, and grabbed him by the shoulder intending to put him in a headlock and drag him down to the water. But he stopped there. There was something in the side of the booth that caught his eye.

A man. A terribly pale one, but a man all the same. Big eyes, a slight hook to his nose, hair that could only be described as feathery. A little long in the limbs, but very much in shape. He was wearing one of those old timey one-piece men's swimsuits, with the candy stripes, and perched on his head was a little straw hat. For some reason it took him a few long moments to realize what he was looking at. A mirror. This was a mirror. Narcissistic ass had a mirror up here.

He reached out in wonder he didn't quite understand. The man in the mirror reached out with him, and soon their hands were only separated by the glass. He had the strangest thought then: he really needed to cut his nails. They were nearly talons.

It was then that the man (Max, his name was Max. He was a lifeguard here. How had he forgotten his only friend?) cleared his throat and said. "See, perfectly round Zack. You have a head like a fricken orange."

For some reason, he had no idea why, Zachery Talbot began to laugh out loud. Max side-eyed him, and said cautiously "Dude, are you hiiiigh?"

"Hahahahaha, I don't know!" Zachery said, and again that weird feeling of happiness swelled up inside of him. Just hearing his own voice was like magic. He might actually be high on something, who knows what he could have been slipped while he was knocked out here. He didn't care though, and did a backflip off the station and onto the sand below, reaching out and catching his hat as is fluttered down beside him and placing it securely on his head. He was full of energy. What had he been doing sleeping? He should be out seizing the day. "I'm gonna go somewhere! Do you want to go somewhere?"

"I'm the lifeguard."

"Right, right, sorry I asked. I, I'll, I, I'll be back. I have to do... I don't know, things. I'm going to do things!"

"Then take this." Max said, throwing down a bottle of sunblock to him. "Trust me, you don't want to get burned. Burns hurt like hell."

He caught it greedily, then seemed to make a game of tossing it between his hands. "Right, thanks! See ya' around!" Zack said, taking the rim of his hat between two fingers and tipping it to the lifeguard before trotting off over the sand, throwing the block into the air and catching it over and over again. Max just smiled, grabbed his binoculars, and turned his attention to scanning the surf. He was glad he'd woken up first. Zack would have given him hell for sleeping on the job, and it would have only compounded the shame.

Jackson

Jackson woke slowly on a beach in some weird pants that seemed to stop at his knees. Infront of him was nothing but the azure waters of what was most likely the ocean, and he was standing in some weird, shifty dirt. What's going on here?

With nothing better to do he started walking down the beach, soon coming to an area that seemed to have more people on it. He had given himself a charge earlier, in case of danger was afoot, but that didn't seem to be the case. He did see some thing floating in the water not far of the coast, his attention diverted from a younger girl running off towards it.

"I wonder what," he began as he took another step forward, only to trip on a buried bottle and fall backwards. He prepped himself for a hard landing, and was surprised to A) Land first on some kind of plastic, then water, B)hear 3 utterances of the word shit and C) discover he can't swim. After a little bit of floundering brought their croc safety vessel further out into the ocean and leavin them stranded for a bit, 3 heads popped out of the water and were clutching to the ballon for deer life.

"Get off before you kill us all, or I'll kill you!" That was Mu.

"What the hell is going on, and why do you have bodies?!?!" The reasonable Jackson with the reasonable question.

"Are we at the beach, the honest-to-god, as-seen-on-TV beach. Thank the lord, my prayers have been answered, all hail the Great Potato, for hr has answered my prayers!!!" You get on guess who this is and why he's so happy.

"Kuro, we've been over this-"

"Silence non-believer, lest you feel the wrath of our all-mighty spud deity. Do not shun the way of the potato, Jackson, for it will lead you to your promise land as it has done for me."

"Can I stab this fool in the face?"

Jackson, Kuro, and Mu, were in 3 seperate bodies, for some reason, that were nearly identical except for the eyes, Jackson had blue, Kuro had gold, and Mu got silver. They are now stranded in deep-ish sea with no way back and seconds away from getting into a fight that will surely drown them. What will you do?

Damien

Damien was extremely perplexed to find himself in the middle of a beach resort, but he decided not to question it. He couldn't really remember the series of events that brought him here, and he find himself not caring. He'd just sit back and enjoy the tiny little drinks with the fruit slices that were being served to him. As he did so, he took notice of a blonde woman walking this way.

"Why hello there ma'am,this might be a strange question, but do you have any idea where we are?" Dammit, he was too much of a soldiers too let this many things be unknown to him.

@Sapphire

Jaden

Jaden was on the same beach as Isabella and was currently trying to remember what led him here, but it was all a blur. Not only that, but that girl Sebastian had brought with him, Cassandra, was here as well. She was wearing a dark blue two piece bathing suit and was currently electrocuting hermit crabs out of their shells. Yeah, that is pretty much what one should expect from a girl that Sebastian named her protege.

As he was thinking, he saw a young boy walk up to him, a boy he was sure he had never seen before in his life, and yet couldn't help but feel a connection with him. The ferling didn't make sense until the child spoke too him. Then it was like his world nad shatter around him. He was frozen for a second, unsure of how to proceed, what to say, before just giving into his emotions and giving the boy a hug, tears flowing from his eyes.

"Yeah, though I don't think I'll be much good. This'll be my first time at the beach, so we'll have to learn together, huh?" Jaden said with a smile. He knew that none of this was real, that it was all probably a dream he was dreaming as he neared death or captivity. But he really, really didn't care. As he let go off Eden and led him to the sand bank, he just decided to let himself go and enjoy the dream, for what is more human than believing in something that you know is a lie, just to make your life bareable.

Eden hugged back as his father embraced him, suddenly crying. Why was he doing that? When the latter finally let go, Eden tried to hold back his own tears, managing to hold out till they reached the sandbank. There, the two would find a bucket and a plastic shovel, and begin their attempts at building something out of sand, attempts that due to their mutual inexperience, failed miserably, resulting in several misshapen piles of damp sand.

--------

"Not a chance, hot guy!" shouted Isabella as she gave chase with her long, shapely legs; she was not going to lose this person! She ran past Issac and Loki, following much the same path as Camille and Ann had, trying to glomp Alto, then do a further attempt at seduction. Isabella had a surprising running speed, using her powers to make up for lack of exercise.

Suddenly, she noticed a Fake Ophanim sunbathing, and spoke, in an imperious voice:

"You! I need you! Lie flat on you back and float; I need a personal flying carpet!" The False Ophanim, flummoxed, lay flat and closed its seven eyes, ready to use its disc-like body to serve Isabella as a flying steed, although it didn't know why.

The Biomancer climbed up on the mutated creature, then directed it to fly forwards, forwards at Alto! She was going to catch that Bishonen and make him hers!

Light wandered around the beach she found herself on for awhile, looking for something to do. Apparently she was dumped on some sort of empty beach, no buildings, no trees, and no people. She found it quite boring and unnatural, to the point where she wondered if she was dreaming.

"I don't know why I'm having a loner nightmare again. Its bad enough that this is more or less how I feel when I'm awake. I don't need this when I'm asleep." Light muttered to herself, drooping at the thought. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she found herself near a group of people, one of which was trying her best to ride some strange creature.

"Ok, am I just on some psychedelic trip or something? I didn't think LSD worked on me." Light muttered to herself, utterly confused on what was happening. She waved at people to see if she could get their attention, but she was skeptical, doubting if they were even real.

Nate was somewhat surprised when Aya pulled her hand back from his. He didn't normally have that reaction on the ladies. But then he saw her cheeks begin to turn a shade of pink and it all made sense. She was embarrassed. Understandable. Here he was, standing in front of her nearly naked and leaving very little to the imagination. He looked down at his shorts and very nearly felt embarrassed himself. Or he would if he wasn't as proud of his body as he was. Hell, he had spent a lot of time working on this here masterpiece. He rubbed the back of his neck and let out a barely audible giggle, more in empathy for Aya than embarrassment.

He'd have to kill whoever had made him wear these shorts....Or thank them...He couldn't decide.

When Aya asked what his friends name was, he thought about it for a second and said "Jackson...or Kuro...Or maybe Mu but I hope not" he began trailing off as he thought about how confusing this kid was and watched Aya out the corner of his eye "It's complicated" he said, not wanting to confuse her. "But he likes to hang out on another plane sometimes. I heard you can do the same so I thought maybe you could help me look there"

She said to Light now getting a little confused on how she got here. She didn't know how she got here all she remembers is darkness and then a bright light probably coming form the sun.

"Maybe we got into a car with them and went with them,Maybe they are our friends?" Dean now questioned her brother now speaking up now appearing as a ghostly figure folding his arms.

Aya's eyes widened in recognition when Nate named who he was looking for

"Oh! Yeah, I know Jackson and Kuro. I haven't met Mu yet, but apparently that's a good thing." Aya gave a small smile, happy to help. Or at least, happy to have something to distract her from her embarrassment. "I can go look for him, if you like. Just take care of my body, would you?" Aya snapped her mouth shut when she realized what she said and felt her cheeks warm again. "I mean… just make sure no one throws a frisbee at it or something." And then she couldn't close her eyes and snap over to the astral plane fast enough.

Good lord, that had been a train wreck. Now invisible to everyone around her, Aya lifted a hand to her face and pinched the bridge of her nose. She sighed and opened her eyes again to see Nate in front of her, outlined by stars. Stupidly attractive Nate. Aya just shook her head at herself and looked around her immediate area, searching for Jackson or Kuro or… whoever was in charge right now.

"I'm not seeing him," Aya said, making sure her actual body spoke the words. When on this side, it was difficult to get her body to do anything at all, but she could speak at least. "Hang on, I'll look around." With that, Aya walked around. This beach seemed unending, and Aya had no clue which way to go, so she just picked a direction and started walking.

There were people all around, talking, playing, laughing. Aya felt a sense of peace she hadn't felt in a long time. What on earth was this place? Feeling that she wasn't making any progress just walking down the beach, Aya looked towards the ocean. Some people were already in the water, on floaties or just swimming. Movement in the distance caught her eye – some frantic splashing or other. Curious, Aya walked over, (she'd always wanted to say she'd walked on water) squinting to make out the figures. She heard the voices before her vision cleared enough to see who it was that was making such a fuss.

"Can I stab this fool in the face?"

Her eyes widened in recognition.

Jackson. Three… Jacksons.

"Uh," she said to Nate, "I think I found them." She snapped back to her body and opened her eyes to look up at him. "There's three of them. Like, in different bodies. It's not supposed to work like that, right?"

Avarice had barely reached the bar when a tall man asked her about the island. She ordered a cocktail before turning to him, "The only thing I can tell you is that we are on a tropical island but if you didn't already know that you have bigger problems." She thanked the waitress for her drink and sipped it quietly, "It's almost like biblical paradise, a bit odd, don't you think?" She stared out at the beach for a moment.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name. I'm Avarice you can call me.... Ava." She smiled at him, unsure why she felt he could be useful to resort domination or why she wanted to take over the resort in the first place. Without her memories Avarice still had much of her humanity and sanity. She was essentially a normal person now, though how long that might last was up for debate.

Max sighted his first problem almost instantly. Three kids drifting out to sea on a rubber crocodile, clearly struggling. He took his sunglasses off, grabbed his float, and jumped out of the tower. Racing down to the water and diving into the sweet, sweet surf he paddled out to them.

Only when he got close did he realize he knew these people. Well, one of them. Jackson was one of the guys that...something about shelter or...training or something...he knew him, that's all that mattered. He paddled up smiling. "Hey Jackson, and these must be the brothers I've heard so much about. You boys seem to be in a spot of troooouble. But, not as much as you seem to think. You got a solid floatation device here." He reached out and petted the croc on its big goofy noggin in emphasis. "If you all calm down, and get on one side, you should be able to kick back to shore."

They were, after all, training this kid. May as well take any opportunity to teach him something new. Give a man a fish and he's fed for a day, teach a man to fish and yadda yadda yadda.

Nate flashed Aya another smile when she asked him to take care of her body. The smartass in him wanted to make some kind of comment about that but she cut him off by clarifying what she meant. Nate simply held his hands in the air and made a face as though saying "What else would I do?". He half expected her to drop to the sand when she used her powers, thinking that when the mind left the body it could no longer control it. He was clearly wrong though as Aya stood perfectly still as she informed him that she was going to look around.

She was quiet then and Nate simply shrugged and looked confused by what was happening. "I'll just...wait here then." he said as he folded his arms, trailing off as he realized she probably couldn't hear him anymore. Another awkward silence followed and a couple of people wandered past, staring at the stock still Aya and the awkward Nate. "Hi. How you doing?" Nate said to them pleasantly as they went about their own business.
"What's she doing?" came a voice from behind him. Nate turned to see a duplicate approach holding a coconut drink with a straw and a little umbrella poking out of the top.
The duplicate took a sip of the drink through the straw as Nate responded "Helping. Where did you get that?"
"There's a bar over there" the duplicate informed him with a pleased smile as he tossed a thumb over his shoulder "They've got all kinds of-"
"Well go get me one" said Nate, cutting the duplicate off mid sentence "And one for the lady too"
The duplicate gave an annoyed Tsk sound before dropping one shoulder heavily to the ground in a hunchback posture. "Yeth mathter" he groaned with a heavy lisp in his best Igor voice. He then turned and headed back towards the bar, adopting a heavy limp as he went.
"Nailed it!" Nate called after the duplicate. He knew that the clone would maintain the posture the entire way to the bar because that's what he'd do. Commitment to a bit.

When Aya returned to her body, she would find Nate holding two coconut drinks. One in each hand. When she informed him that she had found three Jackson's, pondering that it wasn't supposed to work that way, Nate turned his head to the sky and groaned. "No it's not" he told her "Little brat copied my power" He arched an eyebrow as he thought of something though and mumbled "That's actually pretty impressive". With another sigh he extended his hand towards Aya, offering her one of the drinks before saying "Mind showing me where he...they are?"
