Tatiana Korvo

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Jack

Tatiana looked around the room wide eyes and the smile on her lips would not falter. It was all so much and she couldn't be more grateful to everyone for pulling together to make this happen. She had some small gifts of her own to give out to certain people, as well as a wedding gift to give to Jack, but that could wait for now. She didn't know where to start but her stomach was letting her know that she had barely touched anything all day.

Hearing Jack call her Mrs. Korvo caused her to cock a brow and giggle. "That make me sound like old voman," she said with a bubbly laugh. Tapping the bottom of her chin as she leaned against Jack she had a thought. "Nev lives, nev home. Jack..." she started before leaning in and whispering against his ear, cupping her hand against his cheek. "ve be anyone ve vant right? Hov about Mr. And Mrs. Nevnan?" she said quietly before leaning back and smiling. It was a silly idea she knew but to her it made perfect sense in an odd sort of way. Newnan was the start of the new world, a place to rebuild and have a life. Why not pay tribute to it?

Jim looked around as people came up to the bar, spotting Sana making a beeline for him. He was very glad when the note was shifted to him about the drinking for the evening. Looking down at it he gave it a quick read through. He wasn't surprised to see that Richard was on the ~no serve list~ - There was a note that there wasn't exactly a legal drinking age anymore but the younger kids were not allowed any - there was sparkling juice for them. The teens were allowed one glass of wine for the evening as a treat. Ryan and Chloe were restricted to no more than than 3 each and to see how they handled it from there. Sana had a note by her name to make sure she drank what she got and she wasn't handing it off to Richard. From the look in the woman's eye she wouldn't have given him a glass of piss that evening.

Miss Sally came over with Lyon, both wanting something hard and dark. Granted when the words came out of Miss Sally's mouth she shook her head. It wasn't exactly how she meant it as she caught sight of James and it caused Lyon to bust out laughing. "I'll have what she's having," he laughed, which got him an elbow.

"Oh bollocks, you know what I meant." Miss Sally shook her head but chuckled as she waited for Jim to pour the drinks, he himself biting the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing outright as well.

Ryan O'Reliy

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Chloe, Riley

"Fuck yeah I would!" Ryan said with a smirk. Looking at Chloe he grinned a wiry grin and started to lead her towards the Rec center. "I promise, cross me heart and hope to die, I won't be grabby. But you better pay up,"" he said sticking his tongue out.

He hoped Bryn would take care of Sana, he wasn't going near that woman tonight. He knew better. Ryan was anything but stupid. Hearing the remarks about Dick he shook his head. Looking over as Ash lead Thana back towards his house and perking a brow. "I was going to say I doubt he'll do anything really except glare but..." he said motioning towards the two leaving the scene of the wedding and not heading directly over to the reception site. "But then again."

Shrugging he headed to the rec center and looked around. God he was hungry. Over with the Cd stacks, guy had done well, there was plenty of country which was to be expected but he had also been able to find a lot of rock, pop, slow songs, hit song compilations, and more. Even a copy of one of Riley's old CD's. There was plenty for the party it seemed. Even a separate stack of karaoke songs with a note on top - "For when things get boring."

Thana Martin

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With:Ash, Jack, Tatiana

Thana looked over towards Ash as he handed over the slip of paper. He was an interesting one that was for sure. Why he thanked her a second time was beyond her reasoning but the smile, however small it was, was welcome. She made note to ask him later when they were not in front of nearly the entire town. He had said he didn't do well around large groups, she didn't want to push the issue.

Glancing away she looked around the room and spotted the happy couple. The bride whispering against her new husbands ear. "I believe that would be them Captain," she said motioning over in their direction. Her eyes met with Tatiana's and Tatiana grabbed Jack by the arm, tugging on it as she pointed towards Ash and Thana.

Tatiana wasted no time hurrying over to the two and giving Ash a big hug that Thana was barely able to step aside for. The woman was excitable that was for sure. "Thank you Ash! Thank you! Service was vonderful!" she said letting him go and then suddenly Thana found herself in the middle of a very ardent embrace. Her eyes widening as the young bride hugged her as if she had known her for years and was family. Thana wasn't sure what to make of the moment but she gave a gentle hug in return.

"Oh um, that was quite the greetin'. Congratulations on the weddin', it was beautiful." Thana's voice was cordial and kind as she spoke, finally being released from the hug she stepped back over to Ash. Slipping her arm back through his she glanced over towards him. "I now know how Father Mulcahy felt..."

Tatiana looked confused but shrugged it off. "Vell, are you going to introduce us to date Ash?" she teased with a hyperactive giggle. Seemed Tatiana was ten times more bubbly than normal just now. Thana smirked slightly as she looked over towards Ash from the corner of here eye.

Gavin Comfort

Location: Five miles west of Newnan, in the snow.
Interacting With: Ravi

Gavin gave a huff and grinned broadly as he stopped in his tracks. Turning around to look at Ravi the smile grew. "I be havin' ya know I knows exactly where's we ares goin!" he said before turning back around and thrusting his hand into the air, pointing due east from where they were standing. "Were goin' that-a-way!" he said proudly as he pointed in the direction of where the noise came from.

Waiting he wrapped an arm around Ravi and started walking again. "Now, we don't be needin' no coonhound. I already got mans best bud," he said, his hand coming up from Ravi's shoulder and ruffling his hair before he trudged off, moving with broad steps through the snow and giving Ravi a pretty decent path to follow him through.

"Sixteen tons and what do yas get? Another day older and deeper older and deeper in debt. Saint Peter dontcha call mes cause I ain't comin'. I owes my soul to the company stoooooooooore," Gavin sang in a low baritone voice as he trudged through the snow, pulling out one of his old favorites by the man in black, a Mr. Johnny Cash. Each step he pulled through the snow was to the beat of the song.

Amelia Payne

Location: 10 Wedding Site (Near the Medical Garden) -> Building 7 (Rec Center)

Amelia was completely left without words when she heard Riley suggest they later do a strip poker game. She was glad it was cold right now because otherwise she'd have probably be letting off steam as her face turned bright red. She just looked downwards, hiding her flustered face behind her hair. This was NOT the type of talk she was used to being part of... Hell she never even played spin the bottle for kisses before. So she just hoped it didn't get to such possibility later. If Riley invited her to play, she wouldn't know what to do as she wouldn't want to say not to her best friend...

“I hope Guy found some of your CDs, I want to hear your songs.” Amelia said when her friend explained her singing plans for the event. She really liked her friend's songs and she never really had the chance to properly listen to them since the end of the bloody world. She was going to enjoy hearing the singing of Riley non the less though. Good singing was rare nowdays and she was going to enjoy the chance as much as she can. She nearly jumped when she felt someone's hand across her shoulder, but calmed down and smiled right away when she realized it was Riley's. Now this felt so much better and secure. She almost didn't fear possible scene happening at the reception now... almost.

When they arrived at the Rec Center, Amelia followed Riley to a point, but didn't get too close to where her friend was going to sing. She wanted to leave the singer to prepare properly without be on her head and possibly hinder her in any way. For that reason she instead just stood nearby, looking about the place, noting where the drinks were. Maybe she should get one... just to ease her nerves?' Yeah that seems like a good idea... actually no, it's a terrible idea!' She thought, slowly heading towards the bar, but then stopping and moving back. She'd better find herself a good seat first.

Jack Hudson

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Jack chuckled slightly. It was a unique choice--Mr. and Mrs. Newnan--and it reminded him a bit of those competitions high schools put on, where male students competed to be Mr. Such and Such, and girls went after the title of Homecoming Queen. But at the same time, it was also perfect. They had managed to create a life for themselves in Newnan. Jack's last name, Hudson, came from the father who abandoned him and his mother as well. He didn't have any particular attachment to it.

"Alright, Mistah and Missis Newnan," he agreed, nodding his head slightly. He was hyper-aware of her hand cupping his cheek, and he felt slightly disappointed as she pulled away. But a moment later, he felt a sharp pull on his arm, and not expecting the sudden movement, he stumbled forward a bit before stopping himself, grinning with a face that said I meant to do that.

"Thank you, Ash," Jack chimed in, holding his hand out to the man again. "Couldn't have done all this without you--don't think I can evah repay you." His eyes were dancing with amusement as Tatiana pulled the newcomer into a fierce hug, before teasing Ash about his date. Jack titled his head to the side, before giving a subtle nod of approval at Ash that appeared to say atta boy!

Putting his arm around Tatiana's waist, he hadn't quite understood the reference the newcomer made either. For all he knew, the newcomer and Ash had known each other before the outbreak, maybe went to the same church together.

Beatrice Decker

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Having made her way over from the wedding site, Beatrice glanced around, mildly impressed with the decorations and the effort. It didn't look like wedding reception spreads in magazines, but it still looked a hell of a lot better than what it could have been. Most everyone seemed to be trickling in, grabbing drinks, and waiting for the bride and groom to get some food before getting a bit to eat themselves. The rockstar, Riley, was setting up as well.

But more luckily, Beatrice spotted Tiffany and Ray again, and made her way over to Tiffany. The two of them were fairly decent friends, and while Beatrice could certainly handle being alone without feeling loneliness, it was still nice to have someone to talk to. She glanced at her friend's dress, and knowing very little about fashion, still thought it looked pretty. But wasn't that the same color as Tatiana's gown? She couldn't remember if that was a good thing or a bad thing when it came to weddings.

"Tiffany, Ray, hello," Beatrice greeted. "Mind if I join you?"

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Chloe rolled her eyes at Ryan, a bit annoyed and simultaneously amused with Riley's suggestion. The man didn't need much encouragement, and the last person Chloe had stripped for had been a Corrections Officer. She wasn't sure if her sister, her sister's crush, and Ryan were exactly who she had attended to show off the goods for next. But on the bright side, Ryan wasn't insisting they go home and grab the smokes to pay up. Maybe they'd be able to have some sort of fun at the reception--for a little while, at least, before it got boring.

"Drinking game sounds good," Chloe said, a smirk dancing on her lips. "Maybe something like Never Have I Ever--not sure strip poker would be exactly fair. He's got a tux on--and we're in dresses."

She followed Ryan's gestures, raising an eyebrow at Ash and his new best friend leaving the wedding together, heading away from the reception site. Yeah, Richard was definitely going to be pissed off. Some sort of brawl was going to break out, sooner rather than later, she figured. But as long as Dick controlled himself and didn't hurl things at his housemates in rage, it was fine by her.

"Alright, you're gonna do amazingly!" Chloe exclaimed, smiling at Riley as she walked over to get set up. Her eyes then fell on the bar, and she couldn't help but feel wistful. Alcohol had never been her issue--as ironic as she realized it was, she never became addicted to it. Drugs, yes. But at the same time, she doubted that they'd allow the convicts to have too much to drink. There wasn't enough trust there.

"C'mon, let's get some drinks," Chloe said, nudging Ryan slightly. "How long's it been since you got a decent drink?" she asked, chuckling ever so slightly. Prison hooch was always an option and available, but from her experience, it didn't beat a real drink. Making her way over to the bar, assuming that the Irishman was in toe, she requested something strong and sweet. Things like strawberry daiquiris had always been her favorite--she never got into the more bitter drinks.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Location: Five miles west of Newnan, in the snow.

Ravi gave Gavin a skeptical look, shaking his head as his friend thrusted his hand into the air. He imagined that Gavin must have been the sort of man who refused to stop and ask for directions, no matter how lost he was. But to be fair, in Ravi's experience, that was true for most American men. He rolled his eyes slightly at the arm wrapped around him, but continued to walk on with Gavin. It wasn't like they had any better ideas.

"Ha ha ha, that's just brilliant," Ravi replied, trying to dodge Gavin's hand, but his hair was ruffled nonetheless. At least his beard had escaped unscathed--he loved that beard, more than he loved some people, even. "Lovely singing voice, mate. Can you do opera? I'd say you'd be half decent at it, certainly more than the average bloke." He snickered a bit at his own joke, following Gavin in the wake he'd made for him.

Ravi pulled his hat a little firmer down on his head, amused a bit at the irony. In all the time he'd lived in Seattle, he'd never gone to see the Seahawks play. They weren't that decent of a team anyways, from what he had been told. And now, here he was, trudging through the snow with Seahawks gear keeping him toasty. Stroking his beard a bit, he couldn't help but be pleased with how the upkeep of it was going.

"Are you just intending to smash things and shoot people when we get to this place?" Ravi asked. "Perhaps don't go on a suicidal mission, chap. If you can help it."

Richard Johnson

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden) >> Building B: His Room

When Sana collided into him and sent him nearly flying over the chairs he stumbled into and landed his rear on, Richard nearly yelled after her in anger. He could feel all the lingering eyes watching them and he stared as Sana stormed off. Many, many emotions ran through Richard's mind then and he wondered if a single person still cared if he stuck around. Despite their heart-to-heart earlier, Richard doubted that Sana still wanted to come with him. He sat there, as everyone around him dispersed and headed off to either guard duty or the reception. His hands clenched over and over so many times that the nail marks were starting to look like they were always a part of his palms.

Richard had had no intention of trying to bed Thana, but he couldn't help but need to watch her. It was like watching an old memory but one you couldn't quite remember, one that looked just a little off so you stared some more to see why it was so wrong even though you knew the reason why. Not that it mattered, even if he told Sana as much he knew she'd still be pissed so what was the use? His face was hurting from how tense his muscles had been and still were. Taking a deep breath, Richard stood up and walked away from the wedding site and up towards his shared abode. He wasn't going to make an appearance at the reception, that would be best for everyone.

Silence was all that followed him as he walked along the street, the same direction as everyone else but then instead of turning right, he turned left, and made his way inside the Reject 'r' Us building. There was no door slamming, there was no cussing, there was no crashes or bangs. Richard grabbed his bag from beside the front door, went up to his room, quietly shut the door and closed the curtains at each window. He placed the bag at the foot of his bed and sat down beside it, his legs dangling over the edge as his feet lay flat on the ground.

He looked around the room and took in everything. The damage he'd made earlier and his efforts to tidy it. Everything was out of place and not the way it was supposed to be. But wasn't that just life? Nothing was how it was supposed to be anymore. He rested his head in his hands and ran his fingers through his hair, scratching the back of his head as he glanced over his shoulder at the sounds of festivities happening in the rec centre. He pursed his lips for a second, trying to stop the tremble that was starting to overcome him. He swore, after that day, he wouldn't cry again but it was too late. The moisture ran down his cheeks and his shoulders began to shake as all the emotion he had kept hidden inside began to pour out.
Agnes Brynja Johannsson

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden) >> Building 7: Rec Centre

As she was sitting further back, Bryn noticed Sana and Dick's disagreement and she let out an audible sigh as she saw Sana storming off upset. Turning to Ciel and placing a gentle hand on his shoulder she smiled softly. "Are you okay on your own? I have to rush off and check on Sana and I don't want to make you rush. Come find me later if you're coming to the rec centre, otherwise I'll come visit you at home tomorrow okay?" She gave his hair a quick but gentle ruffle and then took off after Sana. She was very glad to be in her boots at this point.

Having lost sight of Sana when she was talking to Ciel, Bryn glanced around and saw everyone heading to the rec centre. Considering she couldn't recall Sana having eaten that morning she figured she'd have at least went to grab food and, at this stage, probably a drink. Making her way to the rec centre she moved inside and stopped in surprise. The place, all things considered, looked really good. She'd find Sana and check on her before finding the happy couple and congratulating them. Glancing around she saw almost everyone inside minus those that were taking their turn on guard duty. Figuring that going to where the food was laid out was a good start, Bryn moved over and felt her mouth watering as the smells assaulted her nostrils. She'd need to grab herself some food too.

As she moved over she spotted Sana over by the bar and she switched course and moved over to speak to her friend. "Sana. Drink together?" She raised a brow and held no emotion on her face as she spoke. They were few words but they meant so much coming from Bryn. She knew Sana would know that she wouldn't ask questions, she wouldn't want feelings, she just wanted to be with her and drink. Hopefully that was enough for Sana just now and if not, then Bryn would adjust to match. She just wanted Sana to be okay. Her silent treatment of Dick may need to end tonight but that would be decided later.
Dr. Victor Bonheur

Location: The Wedding Site (Near 10 - Medical Garden) >> Building 1: Infirmary >> Building 7: Rec Centre

Victor could not be happier in that moment in time as he saw Jack and Tatiana leaving the wedding site hand in hand. He was about to follow after them but then he saw the exchange between Richard and Sana and he thinned his lips as he tried not to interfere. He had done all he could for Richard and as the man was unwilling to listen, Victor did not want to press his advice. He watched Richard, for a moment, as he sat on the seat he had fallen onto. He then took a breath and made his way away from the wedding site and then made a quick pit stop to the infirmary to check in on Medic.

Everything was in hand in the infirmary, just as Victor had imagined, and he promised to return shortly to let Medic away to enjoy the festivities for a bit. Victor was never much of a night owl anyway so was happy to take over the late shift before bed. He then left the building and made his way towards the reception. He looked around and saw Tatiana and Jack standing with Ash and Thana. He had not yet had a chance to say welcome to their new guest so this seemed like a perfect opportunity.

Smiling and saying hello to everyone he passed, Victor approached the group with a bright and wide smile. He quickly embraced Jack and then gave Tatiana a large hug. "My wonderful children, I am so happy and blessed to be sharing this day with you both. Félicitations!" He released Tatiana and then turned to clap Ashton on the back as was his normal way of greeting for their leader. "Merci beaucoup Ashton, the ceremony was wonderful."

He then turned and gave a warm smile in Thana's direction and held his hand out to her for a handshake. "A pleasure to officially make your acquaintance Doctor Thana Martin. Welcome to Newnan, you picked a wondrous day to visit." There was familiarity behind his eyes but it was not something he could help, he had known Zoie the longest out of everyone here, save for Ryan, and he had no immediate intentions to treat Thana as if she were her sister but it was hard not to look at the face of someone who had helped to keep you alive and sane when you thought there was no way you could continue forward and not feel familiar with them.

Ciel

Location: Wedding Site -> Rec Center

A blank look had settled over Ciel's childish features as Brynja got up to go check on Sana. He also wanted to make sure Sana was alright, but figured that Bryn had it under control. No need to make a nuisance out of himself. In truth he would have killed to get away from the commotion for a little while, but he felt obligated to check in with Jack at least once. That is, if Jack wasn't too busy with wedding procedures. Now that the formalities were over, Ciel supposed that Jack might be free to accept congratulations.

He trailed along after everyone else towards the rec center, ignoring the pervasive exhausted dizziness that plagued his system. He really needed to get some sleep after this, if he could force himself to. Such things were difficult when any moment spent in a dark room is filled with thoughts of imminent injury or death. Or spiders.

As expected, Jack was conversing casually with his new wife and two others. Realizing that one of these others was the captain and the second was the famous new girl, Ciel decided it might be best to wait a little and not butt into a conversation that might be important. Social gatherings weren't exactly his forte, so he stayed up against the wall and watched everything with an expression halfway between 'bored' and 'overwhelmed'. No two people seemed to be doing the same thing, so it was difficult to discern exactly what he was supposed to be doing. That said, by Ciel's standards he was fairly calm. Nobody seemed to be dying, at the very least.

Black James(!)

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Nobody seemed to notice James Mandingo Grady enter the Rec Center. It was difficult not to, considering that the concept of "blending in" really only worked for him if he was out of doors, tracking game, and (most importantly) with his mouth shut. These things rarely all happened at the same time inside the walls of Newnan. Those who had hunted with the colorful southern gentleman might speak of the utter difference in posture and attitude, describing a man who was as a King's Ranger of old, not the bubbly Court Jester that most Newnanites had come to know and cherish. Which is why it was somewhat offputting when no one noticed the man until a few out of context words reached his ears.

It was spoken in an educated British accent, mentioning a need for Something Hard And Dark.

What else could he do? James looked over in the general direction of the discussion, flashed a big thumbsup at Miss Sally while plastering on his best Eddie Murphy shit-eating grin. The pause was momentary, as he actually had someplace to be. In particular, one of the carts that Domestic had so lovingly taken care of for him had yet to be displayed to the gathering public, a situation that he was to rectify ASAP.

He lifted the lid from his cart, revealing an entire, tusked hog, skinned and dressed, cooked to crispy-moist, rested perfection. He stood ready with a cleaver and a good chef's knife, parting the succulent flesh from white bone, getting the more difficult cuts out of the way for the party goers before going to mingle, maybe get some of Cap'n Ash's good homebrew. From across the room, one might hear him exclaim, "Mm hmm, yes'm. Hunted it myself. C'mon now! Y'all leave that face-meat alone, hear? That's all fo' the newlyweds. Best damn parta that pig, lemme tellya."

Ash Holloway

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

The second after Thana pointed out Jack and Tatiana, the latter bounded over to their location and wrapped each one of them in a hug. Said hug had all of the earmarks of a martial arts maneuver designed to choke out larger livestock, possibly even bears. With sudden and equally paralyzing grace, Tatiana then set her sights (and limbs) upon Thana, pressing her into something of a Newnan Coming of Age trial - Surviving Tati. Thana's comment concerning Father Mulcahy was noted and understood. As Ash recovered, he managed to get out "Yeah. Stuffing's completely out..."

"Yes, of course. Thank you, Tatiana." he tried to ignore the sly way in which she used word "date", let alone the particular carbonation of her personality. It was her day. Best leave it that way. "I'm forgetting my manners. Tatiana, Jack, this is Dr. Thana Martin, Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy. Thana, this is Tatiana Korvo and Jack Hudson, Newnan's first newlyweds." Ash was unclear what they intended to do with their surnames, leaving it to one or the other of them to correct if necessary. Oh, and he definitely caught the sideways look from the resident ballerina. Were he capable of blushing, now might have been the time.

And of course, there was Jack. He was in uplifted spirits, with good reason. Ash barely noticed the suggestive look from the man. Barely even noticed the slow, approving nod and the expression that insinuated ...things... Yes. Barely noticed. He gave a polite nod, and accepted the man's hand. "You two were going to do this, regardless. Thank you for sharing your moment with me."

Victor chose this moment to arrive, extending his own greetings and congratulations. Ash nodded acknowledgement of his compliment concerning the ceremony, and so long as formal introductions were still being made, "Yes, Miss Martin; this is Dr. Victor Bonheur; Newnan's Medical Lead and my Second. He was, ah... a good friend of your sister's." Ash felt a touch uncomfortable speaking about Zoie, but he knew that someone was going to broach the subject at one time or another. This was more of a polite nudge that questions and/or reminiscing might be forthcoming in present company. He was fully aware that Thana had no desire to speak about her openly, at least not yet. Victor was a good man, without question. But Ash felt the need to direct the conversation for the sake of his Plus One.

"But I'm forgetting my manners again. Jack, Tatiana, I wanted to give you a little something, commemorating the occasion." He produced the bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue Label and presented it to the two of them. "Typical, coming from me. I thought you would want something decent for later." It was a self depreciating statement. The alcohol they served at the reception was a collection of his work; distillations and fermentations, mostly made from corn and sweet potatoes (though there were a few scavenged items). It was quality work, but sometimes one needed something aged more than a few months.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Riley looked through the collection of CD's that Guy managed to gather the last several months, a lot of country which was a big thing down here, but there was rock, pop, even some karaoke stuff there. As she went through the pile Riley paused as she found the CD cover from her first album which made her smile. Riley remembered writing it just out of high school and simply living in her car back then only getting gigs in bars here and there before she was sought out by her producer back then. Riley was glad that there was a good collection there, she found a CD and then turned to the track.

Riley smiled as the song started, it was a good starting one she watched as the people mingled eyeing Tatiana, Jack, the new girl and Ashton all together. Riley then started to sing along with the lyrics of the song, having listen to it so many times in the past, and memorized it pretty well. As she stood there and sang she looked around some more and saw Amelia, she walked around a little bit as she sang.

Once the song was over Riley finished for now, she backed away slightly feeling great to have finally sing for the first time in front of an audience it made her feel good, the crowd started to applaud her. She was of course going to sing more Riley grabbed another CD and took the one she had put in setting it back down, Riley started to make her way over towards the bar asking for two glasses, once they gave her two. Riley walked over towards Amelia and gave her a soft smile handing it over to her friend. "How did I do?" Riley asked Amelia.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Raymond looked over at Tiffany and gave her a smile, looking over at Tatiana and Jack as Ashton and Thana came into the Rec Center. "You look way more beautiful though." Ray said with a smile he looked over as Riley made her way over and opened up with the first song of the reception. Though never meeting her before the outbreak happened, he did write an article about her but it was a really long time he turned his attention back towards Tiffany and held her hand for a moment. He wasn't sure if Tiffany wanted to go and dance at some point, if she did Ray wasn't sure if he could anymore, and Ray didn't want her to sit down near him to have fun herself.

He turned his attention over towards Beatrice as she approached them, Ray didn't really know her that well aside from just a simple hello or wave or small talk every now and then. "Not at all feel free to take a seat." Ray said with a smile as he pushed a seat that was open for Beatrice to sit. "So how are you doing Beatrice?" Ray looked to Tatiana, Jack, Thana and Ashton he was going to go and say hi at some point tonight and also hang out with the newlyweds as well.

Kristina Smith

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Kristina looked over at Niesha for a moment and gave her a slight smile and nod. "I'll be right back." She said as she started to get up and made her way over towards the bar. Kristina asked for two glasses for herself and Niesha. Once she got them Kris then turned around and made her way back towards the table. She turned towards the little stage as Kris heard Riley starting to sing, Kris was a fan before the outbreak and she liked her music. "Here you go Niesha." Kristina said with a soft smile as she slid the glass over to her friend, she wasn't sure if Niesha was a drinker or not.

She took the glass up to her lips and started to take a sip of it, Kris winced slightly to her it didn't really taste well to her but she downed the drink really quick. Kris turned her attention slightly over towards the newlyweds as they talked with Ashton and the new girl Thana and then over at Niesha. "Lets go introduce ourselves." Kris suggested as she got up and started making her way over towards the four of them.

Kris instantly went to hug Tatiana giving her friend a happy smile and then over towards Jack and hugged him as well. "Hows are the newlyweds doing?" Kristina said she then let go she gave Ashton a friendly smile as well to Thana as well. "You did an awesome job out there by the way." Kris said to Ashton, then she extended her hand to Thana. "It's nice to meet you by the way, i'm Kristina."

Meghna Kumar

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Meg asked for a drink and looked around as she started to hear Riley sing probably for the first time in years in front of an audience. She spotted Ciel nearby by himself she decided to see if he was alright as Meghna started making her way over to him she gently set her hand on his shoulder and gave him a soft smile. "Are you enjoying yourself?" Meg asked him, she was worried about the kid like always, but she did always try and keep her distance so she didn't annoy him to much.

She looked around seeing everyone else was enjoying themselves it was great to see everyone coming together for once and actually having fun for once. The people did need sometime to at least unwind somewhat, she took a sip of her drink as she turned her attention back towards Ciel.

Tiffany Lyle

Building 7 (Rec Center)

Tiffany took a load off and leaned her head on Ray's shoulder. She was kind of hungry and hoped there would be some food and drinks. She didn't expect much though. She knew scavenging for this type of event is hard. As she waited, Beatrice made her way over. A good friend of hers, she waved at the girl and offered her a chair, "Of course, have a seat."

She looked around and watched everyone else come. Riley seemed to be getting the music in order, which was good. Dancing would be fun, though she was hesitant to do so given the fact Ray would have trouble. She didn't mind dancing alone though. She also watched Ash come with the new woman. She eyed the girl up and down. She, of course, had no idea about past events, but she was being given quite the warm welcome, whereas it took the Franklin people some time to get anywhere with them. Was she jealous? A little bit, but then again she wasn't here before. She couldn't imagine the struggle and problems that happened. So she brushed it off.

She patted Ray's knee as he talked to Beatrice. This was all she needed. Her love and her friends in a safe place.

Tatiana Korvo

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Jack, Froggy, Ash, Kris, Thana

"Dah, can never repay you Ash!" Tatiana exclaimed, agreeing with her husband with a bright smile. Giggling she looked over to Jack and laced her arm through his, leaning against him softly before looking back towards Ash and Thana. "Ve decided on nev name. Honor of our nev home. Ve are Mr. And Mrs. Nevnan," she giggled but looked so proud of the fact. This was their home, where they had built a life together over the last eight months. A place she hoped to live out the rest of their days. She didn't know how long that would be but she was determined to enjoy herself.

Seeing Froggy she returned his hug and smiled, batting back the happy tears. "Batya!" she chortled, her way of calling him father from time to time when she was emotional. "Could not have valked down isle vithout you," she said and gave him another tight hug. He was the closest thing to a father she had had since she had witnessed her own being executed along side her mother during the war. She had been such a small child back then and had survived so much. TO be able to live long enough, through everything and still find love and a family meant everything to her.

Turning around as she heard Riley starting to sing she couldn't help but smile even brighter, if that was even possible, and tug on Jack's arm. Pointing over to her and leaning back against him softly as she swayed. They still needed to do their first dance but that would have to wait until everyone got a chance to grab a bite to eat. Hearing Kris she wrapped her arms around Jack's waist and rested her head on his chest. She had never been happier than she was right then.

"Doing perfect," she said. Then a small look of unhappiness filled her eyes as she remembered something from earlier that she had found. Not everyone got the perfect happy ending and the thought pained her. She wanted everyone to have what her and Jack had. Shaking the thought away she leaned up and kissed Jack softly but quickly. "Just minute, vant to get something, I be right back," she said excusing herself form the growing group before hurrying off.

Ryan O'Reliy

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Chloe, Jim

"Way too damn long," Ryan quipped as he followed Chloe over to the bar.

Jim looked at Chloe and scratched the back of his neck. "Damn, um. Well we do have this peach shit Ash made. It's kind of like whiskey but kind of like peaches. I'm not sure, I'm not a big drinker other than beer," Jim said looking lost at the bar. He wasn't a bar tender, well he was tonight but he was mostly there to carry a gun and keep Richard from getting drunk. Thing was Richard was no where to be seen.

Ryan rolled his eyes. "Give her that, Ash knows how to make good stuff. And me, just give me that," he said pointing to the clear bottle. Jim shrugged and did what he was asked to before marking down on the paper that Chloe and Ryan had gotten their first. Ryan rolled his eyes, of course they were being monitored.

Miss Sally and Lyon made their way over to James and Sally gave the resident hunter a pat on the shoulder. "It looks wonderful James. Make sure to wrap up a bit would ya? I don't think Richard is coming, much as that man makes my skin crawl at times we gotta make sure he eats. I'll take him a tray later," she said before grabbing a plate. "Now, come on, don't be stingy. My old bones can't handle it," she said.

"You're bones are stronger than the rest of this towns," Lyon laughed as he grabbed a plate.

Ryan took a sip and coughed slightly. "Smooth," he laughed before downing half of it and looking over at Chloe. "Come on, let's eat."

Thana Martin

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Ash, Tatiana, Jack, Froggy, Kris

The small number of them was quickly growing as more and more people showed up to congratulate the new couple and in turn introduce themselves to Thana. As Victor came over she couldn't help but notice the look in his eyes. As Ash pointed out he was friends with her sister she shook the mans hand. "I see. My condolences," she said in a monotoned voice. It wasn't clear if she was giving her condolences because he had lost someone he knew or because she felt sorry she had actually had to know Zoie. It could be taken either way.

"Oh yes, this is from. Truthfully, it is from the Captain but he was kind enough to ensure that I did not show up empty handed," Thana said as she handed over the Champagne to Jack after Tatiana had scurried off to take care of something.

Seeing Kris, she extended her hand in return and shook it. "Pleasure," she added before releasing the woman's hand and glancing around. This was one hell of a night to show up. Right then she would have much rather been curled up in a cold broken down shack cleaning her weapons than being put on display. Hopefully they wouldn't be there too long. She figured a meal, some words, and perhaps then she could get settled in for the night.

"Captain, if you don't mind, I should go get somethin' to eat." As she said the words though she didn't move. She was unsure if he wanted her to remain by his side the entire evening or just stay in his line of sight. Either way she waited. Considering he didn't like big crowds, or at least didn't do well with them as he told it, she figured it would give him an out to move on from the couple and everyone one else as well that was congratulating them.

Sana Rouen

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)
Interacting With: Bryn

Sana stood at the bar area, avoiding others in conversation and eye contact as she waited for her drink. Jim told her she had to wait to get anything until he heard word from Ash. Jim had passed it off as he had to wait and couldn't serve but as more and more sowed up, he started and left her in the wake. Once some slip of paper was handed over though Jim eventually got to her.

Seeing Bryn come up she was grateful, last thing she wanted was for Richard to come following her. It looked like he wasn't but she had no idea if he would later. Having Bryn there as a buffer was welcome. "Sounds good," she said. The two talked but when they were out together it was usually less. More of a group of nods or looks to get the point across.

"Here you go," Jim said handing over the drink. Sana turned to go find somewhere to sit but Jim cleared his throat. "Sorry, have to make... well you know," he said a bit worried.

"What?" Sana asked confused at first, then she got the message loud and clear. "Fucking fine," she hissed quietly from between her clenched teeth before downing the entire glass in front of Jim and handing it over to him. She was half tempted to smash it but she wasn't going to ruin the couples night no matter how much they grated on her nerves.

Shaking her head she looked over to Bryn. "Food?" she asked her friend before glancing towards Jim. "Or do I have to eat that in front of you?" she growled.

"Um, have to ask James..." Jim said. Sana just rolled her eyes and headed away from the bar towards the food.

Gavin Comfort

Location: Four miles west of Newnan, in the snow.
Interacting With: Ravi

"Dunno, n'ver tried," Gavin said with a bright smile as he looked over his shoulder and pushed his curls back out of his face some as he adjusted his cowboy hat. Clearing his throat he held his arms up as he kept wading through the snow. "OOOOOOOHHHH SOLO ME-OOO! I'M IN THE SNOW OH ME OHHHHHHH! IT'S COLDER THAN A WITCHES TIT OH YES OH!!! ME NUTS ARE FROZEN OH NO OH!!!!" he belted out with everything he had. Despite the crude words and southern drawl he wasn't half bad.

He laughed to himself as he kept moving, clearing the path for Ravi before shrugging. "Hell if I know man. I'm just gonna roll withs it. Rollability! Adapt and overcome man. Ain't gonna go in all guns a blazin', a'right maybes i will, depends on hows I feel. Don't ya bein' worryin' non, I's die. Bertha is all yers man! Make sure to treats her right, likes a lady. She likes that," he said patting his shot gun.

"Now, where was I?" he asked before clearing his throat again. His hands going back up in the air. "When the moon hits yer eye likes that big pizza pies that's amore! When yer down on yer luck and been kicked in the nut, it ain't amore!"

Amelia Payne

Location: 10 Wedding Site (Near the Medical Garden) -> Building 7 (Rec Center)

The reception was great, but still a little strange for Amelia. She liked to be among people, but at the same time couldn't exactly talk with them well enough, thus things usually ended like they did right now, with her finding a nice chair and sitting quietly, enjoying the music. Usually she'd be drinking some soda, but given the situation that wasn't too on the table, so she settled for enjoying Riley's singing. She had heard her friend before all the zombies started shuffling and never suspected she'd befriend her one day! Amelia was smiling, happy with her current situation non the less. Granted she wasn't in a group or being noisy, but this was enough for her. She still had to and congratulate personaly the newlyweds, but she planned to do it a little bit later. Things were still hectic and she couldn't gather up the willpower to do so.

When her friend finally stopped singing and walked over to her with two glasses, Amelia smiled, standing up to meet her.” You were great! You are so much better life than on record, you know. You are going to sing more, right?” She then asked with a big smile, tilting her head slightly at the two glasses now.

“Riley... would you want to come over to congratulate the newlyweds?” She asked her friend finally, throwing a glance at Jack and Tati.” I'd go, but people flock there right now that I just...” She started saying, but didn't really finish. How could she explain her inability to act a little brave and push her way into congratulating them.” We could... we probably should also say hi to the new person, Thana... right?”

Niesha

Location:building ten (medical garden)->Building Seven (rec)

Niesha watched Kristina go off towards the bar, and made a note to keep an eye on her friend. The last thing they needed was for Kristina to get drunk. She sighed softy, hugging herself a moment, looking over as Riley started to sing. She smiled slightly, music was something she could understand without too much difficulty, and it was rather enjoyable to have it, today. She looked over as Kristina handed her a drink, taking it to be polite, not wanting to offend Kristina, she gave her a smile, but set the drink aside for a moment. As Kristina downed the drink, Niesha frowned.

"Maybe you should slow down..." she said, concerned that Kristina was going to make herself sick, drinking quite that fast. She sighed though, nothing she could do about it now. She followed Kristina, taking the drink so no one else could take it, and get themselves in trouble, taking a small sip. It wasn't Niesha's first experience wit Alcohol, but it was with a home made brew. She didn't particularly like alcohol, yet she could understand the feeling it gave, and she sighed again.

She could understand the lure of not wanting to feel. Or to have that buffer, that dampening effect.

She followed Kristina over towards Jack, Titania, Victor, Thana and Ash. She smiled at Titania, but didn't get to say anything before she headed off, so she looked over to Thana "Its a pleasure to meet you, I hope that Miss Sally has gotten the things we gathered for you together, yet it has been a busy day, I'm sorry" As she spoke, Niesha realised that Kris and herself should have presented the pack of things to Thana, and guilt flowed over her. "I'm Niesha, and we just wanted to say hello, but I imagine you'd rather blend in, then feel like you have a spot light on you" She said, as Thana spoke to Ash. "Or that's how I'd feel, anyway" Of course, Niesha's attitude about such things couldn't be considered the norm, so she really had no idea. She gave Jack a nod, "I'm very happy for you, and Titania, and if we don't see her again, will you tell her congratulations?"

Jack Hudson

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Jack hugged Froggy back, grinning all the while. He had never known his father, and in the few months that Jack had known Froggy, the man had filed in that father role for him. Thanking Froggy for his congratulations, Jack couldn't help but keep on beaming, as so many of the people he cared about came over to congratulate Tatiana and himself. Being able to spend this day with all of them meant a lot to him. He never expected, a year or so ago, that he'd live to see his wedding day.

As Ash made the introductions, Jack nodded at Thana and held out his hand. He had to catch himself from thanking her for her service, a habit that still came up from time to time. His mother had always demanded for him to do that whenever he was younger and introduced to a military officer. "Pleasuh to meet you, ma'am," Jack greeted. And of course, having a friend for Ash was always a good idea in his book. The man needed some more joy in life.

His eyes widened slightly at the alcoholic gift. While he never drank excessively back in the day, he had a good appreciation for alcohol. He tended to be a beer guy himself, but Ash's gift was amazing, and Jack felt almost too generous. "Captain, thank you," Jack said, taking the bottle from Ash.

"You think she knows the chicken dance, solovey?" Jack teased ever so slightly, grinning broadly as he nodded. Tatiana would show him up at dancing no matter what it was, but he wouldn't have it any other way. As long as he didn't step on her toes, he was sure that it would be fine. Plus, half of the fun after that would be seeing Ash (hopefully) dance with his new friend.

"Amazingly, thanks for askin'," Jack told Kris, hugging her back. As Tatiana left to go fetch something, he was a bit confused, and rather curious at what she was getting. Kissing her back, he nodded, trusting in his wife. He turned his attention back to Thana, accepting the second bottle of alcohol, feeling almost a bit ridiculous with a bottle in each hand. "You're in luck, ma'am, James is the finest cook there evah was," Jack added, hearing Thana's request for food.

Thanking Niesha, Jack was still smiling, though he was mentally keeping track of where Tatiana was--or perhaps better put, where she wasn't. "She'll be back real soon, don't worry," Jack reassured Niesha.

Beatrice Decker

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Had she not known how much her friend enjoyed the wedding, Beatrice would perhaps have been more honest with her distaste for the entire thing. It seemed to her to be another pointless display of emotion and affection, followed up with a party for something that everyone else already knew was going to happen. The only thing that changed, as she noted Ash passing over a bottle to Jack, was that the two of them now had a private stash of alcohol.

"I'm fine, thanks," Beatrice replied, pausing for a moment. "Never been to a wedding before--it's not really my type of scene...You guys looked good, though." She smiled ever so slightly, a change from her usual guarded habits and passive face. The entire event as a whole confused her, with Beatrice not quite certain where to go or what to do. At least, taking the seat with Ray and Tiffany, she at least had people to talk to.

"How are you two doing? Well I hope?" Beatrice inquired. She desperately hoped that she wouldn't be expected to go congratulate the newlyweds--she wasn't too certain what kind of bullshit about romance she could spout to serve as a decent compliment for them.

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Chloe chuckled a bit, not meaning to break the system. It struck her as a bit funny that Ash put a bartender in charge who didn't know even the general tastes of different alcohols beyond beer. But then again, she didn't mind the slight awkwardness of the situation. In prison, there hadn't been choices, there hadn't been options. Best you could do is bribe the resident hooch maker to create a batch to your liking, and if you didn't like it, tough. You learned to.

"Whatever you have is fine," Chloe added, not expecting too much of Jim at this point. But Ryan, seemingly familiar with the various alcohols that Ash brewed and attained for the party, ended up taking care of the situation. Mouthing a slight thank you to him, she struggled to not roll her eyes as well when Jim noted that the had drinks. "I wish I received a notification when I became an alcoholic, could've gotten double the AA badges," Chloe quipped with a sigh to Ryan, before giggling again as he downed half his drink.

"Very macho," she commented, taking sips from her own drink. If they were being monitored as to how much they could have, Chloe intended to make her drinks last. Her gaze drifted towards the food area, spotting the creepy ass mute--Bryn--over there with Sana. The woman gave her the creeps, reminding her of one prisoner she had met who was almost instantaneously transferred out of min and into max.

The alternative, of course, would be to go over and interact with Ash, Jack, Thana, and the rest. Both options seemed to be equally awful, but one of them came with food. On balance, the food seemed to be ever so slightly better. And as long as Bryn didn't stare at her, and Sana didn't pull any of her usual 'cherish your sister' bullshit, it'd all be good. "Alright, alright, I'm coming, I'm coming," Chloe said, rolling her eyes a bit at Ryan's impatience.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Location: Four miles west of Newnan, in the snow.

In an effort to spare his eardrums from giving out after years of overwork and abuse, Ravi stuck his fingers in his ears, attempting to block out the hideous noises spewing from Gavin's mouth. While he normally might have cautioned his friend that every walker in the area would hear them, it was too horrendous for him to even think. But of course, his hands didn't block it all out, and he still heard ever titillating detail of the song. Once he stopped, Ravi cautiously removed his hands from his ears.

"Perhaps it's in your best interest that American Idol is no longer functioning," Ravi commented. "I hate to crush your dreams, mate, but that was piss poor."

Rolling his eyes, Ravi once again wondered how Gavin was still alive. Rather than creating plans, the man simply rushed in and did whatever he felt would be best. He felt like there had had to have been a line advising against that in the pamphlet or whatever they gave to new rangers--but knowing Gavin, Ravi suspected that any instructional material he had been given had been thrown away just as quickly.

"You know, perhaps your singing isn't half bad," Ravi mused, as Gavin started up again. "It may just repel walkers--I know it certainly repels me." He snickered slightly, grinning cheekily at his friend.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Riley smiled softly at Amelia at the compliment, she blushed ever so slightly. "Thank you, and of course I am going to do some more singing. I'm just getting started." Riley said as she leaned back in the chair looking over at the newlyweds and the group that had been building up around the new girl. She did want to go over and congratulate them both, but there was quiet a lot of people there already talking to the others. "I think we should wait until they thin out a bit, we can go over now if you want totally up to you." Riley said, she did want to get to know the new woman who came into Newnan.

She hadn't been to a wedding in a really long time, the last time she had gone to one was for a friend of hers but she enjoyed it none the less however. Riley gently gave Amelia a pat on the shoulder looking over at her friend. "I could also give you a private show sometime if you want." Riley told her, she was always more then willing to give a private performance to her friends if they ever did want it. Riley looked over across the room seeing Chloe with Ryan still and waved at them. "I wonder if Dick is actually going to show up?" She asked Amelia.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Raymond smiled as Tiffany rested her head against his shoulder he leaned forward and gave her a gentle kiss on her forehead as Beatrice went to sit down next to them. He looked at Tiffany as she laid a hand on his knee and started to give her a back rub as he turned his attention over to Beatrice once more. "I'm doing alright, haven't been to a wedding before myself." He looked over at the newlyweds and Thana and Ashton as they gave them gifts what looked like some kind of bottled alcohol. He was really happy to see the two of them really happy together. Then Raymond watched as Tatiana walked off away from the group wondering what she was doing.

"So whats new with you Bea?" Raymond asked, it was the first time really he had a chance to talk to her he usually stayed quiet while Tiffany and Beatrice talked. He started to feel his stomach starting to growl slightly and looked over at the buffet that was set up for the wedding. He was getting pretty hungry and couldn't wait to actually get in and grab some food.

Kristina Smith

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Kristina smiled at both Tatiana and Jack taking a step back standing next to both Victor and Niesha as she looked at them she turned her attention to Niesha and regretted not presenting the supplies to Thana herself and dumping them to Ms. Sally. She looked at Jack when he mentioned the Chicken Dance, remembering doing that way back when she was in kindergarten. "I haven't done that since I was like a kid." Kris said jokingly, she was getting excited to actually go and dance and enjoy herself for once.

She smiled as Niesha introduced herself to Thana and then watched as Tatiana turned around and left the group to go and get something, and started to wonder what it was that she was going to get. "Do you know what Tati is getting?" Kris asked looking over at Jack having a feeling that he probably didn't know either.

Ash Holloway

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Ash was getting a series of congratulations and "thank yous" all around. Though in truth, he felt that he didn't deserve the accolades. The first most recent came from Kristina. He remembered the day that he met the younger lady, caught on the top of a truck with the Dead starting to surround them. It was supposed to be a simple supply run, but they never did get around to actually running for supplies before being called back to town. Zomnado, walls down, plus an attack from Eden. Ash brought her in, but in hindsight it was probably safer for her and hers to have remained outside. Ash forced a quiet smile and nodded in response to Kris, regardless.

Another warm and fuzzy bit of gratitude from Tatiana, the bubbly Russian lady. Ash was about to remark when she let slip an interesting bit of news: Apparently, they both had taken on the same surname, fashioned after the name of the city in which they worked and bled. It sounded a little hokey. But you say a thing enough times, hokey gives way to normal. The concept of normalcy was a thing to aspire in this new world, and it could not be debated that they had a connection to this settlement and these people, making a decision like that. Mr. and Mrs. Newnan, then. "I like it. Maybe 'The Newnans' become the first dynasty in the new world. Leastaways, I'm sure it's going to be in a history book, eventually. Mr. and Mrs. Newnan..."

Then of course, Thana had to polish off the moment with a slice of blunt honesty. Yes, Ash provided the champagne too, if you can call it champagne and not raw ambrosia. But it didn't necessarily have to be mentioned just then. Still, that touch of ethic did let Ash know a little more about Thana's personality. Overall, he was pleased. A couple more people worked through basic salutations, but Ash tried to keep them as terse as possible since Thana expressed an interest in visiting their buffet tables (not to mention James's cutting station). "Let's give our guest a little breathing room. We can make more formal introductions after she gets a good, hot meal." he paused, "If she's up for it."

Ash motioned beyond the small group gathering around them, toward the goodies that James and the Domestic staff had prepared. "I'm afraid our buffet lacks the variety you might find in Vegas, ma'am." he said to Thana, leading the way toward the savory smells of the reception's "catering". "But it's all grown here in Newnan or hunted nearby. Help yourself - I hear James does wonderful things with sausage and grits." The Captain did feel a touch uneasy, being around a lot of people for a cordial social function. A little paranoia, possibly. It was when everyone was at their happiest that unfortunate things seemed to happen around him. While Ash did wish that everyone continue to have a good time, he felt a little out of place. The tiniest bit of selfishness reassured him that Thana did mention using her as an excuse to leave early; a plan that he intended to follow through with regardless of the whispers that were likely already starting.

Black James(!)

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Meanwhile, James was having a good time at his Whole Pig Carving Extravaganza, slicing off chunks of the meaty goodness and distributing it amongst the good folk of Newnan. Generally a colorful comment or two accompanied each steaming plop of smokey hogflesh onto extended plate. Little snatches of conversation cropped up here and there, small talk, really. It was one of those inconsequential things that may have once been common in the world, small talk, but it was a true rarity anymore. The phenomenon did reinforce one of James's most held beliefs - Food brings people together. Heals, in its own way.

It wasn't too long into his duties that he caught sight of one of the more noteworthy residents of Newnan, one of the Franklin imports, Sana. They had a little bit of history together. James had helped better acquaint her with the particulars of a long rifle. She was a natural marksman; James just gave her another outlet for her uncanny knack of hitting small targets from far away. "Well, how do, Miss Sana? You wantin' a piece of my smoky hog, hmmm?" he said playfully, giving an exaggerated wink and nod. "Aw, I'm just messin' with you. C'mere, I'mma set you up right."

James carved off a decent sized piece of his day's labors and presented it to the lady marksman. "Be sure you get some yams and them grits, too. Ain't nobody walking away from here hungry, feel me?"

Agnes Brynja Johannsson

Location: Building 7: Rec Centre

Bryn nodded at Sana's acceptance of her offer and waited for her own drink after Sana was served and she raised a brow at Jim as he cleared his throat. She scowled as he spoke and she actually growled in her throat as she realised what it was that he meant. She could understand the need if Richard was here, but he wasn't. Sana had downed the drink before she could say or do anything and Bryn nodded at Sana's suggestion of food. Bryn took her beer from Jim after he'd poured it for her.

She started to look for somewhere to sit but then Jim made it worse by making a comment to Sana about seeing if she was allowed to even eat in peace and at her own pace. As Sana walked off towards the food station in as much rage as she had been before, Bryn leaned in close to Jim and glared at him. Her voice was steady and quiet. "Richard isn't here dumbass." As she leaned in she slipped a second, empty, glass up her massive sleeves and hid it in the fabric as she walked away.

She caught up with Sana at the carving station just as James was talking about his grits again. "Careful James, you keep talking about people trying your grits and I might need to get someone to keep an eye on you." She nudged Sana on the arm and gave a nod at James and the plate of food he was no doubt about to hand over to her. "Do you mind?" Bryn was still mad at Jim, he should have realised Richard would have been the first person up to the damn bar if he was going to show and the fact he hadn't should have been Jim's first clue that Richard wasn't here. There was no reason for Sana to be monitored if she wasn't with Richard. Sometimes the stupid rules of this place made Bryn miss the damn dead.

She then noticed Ashton making his way towards the food tables with the town guest, Thana. She had no strong desire to speak to Thana, despite her physical resemblance to her old friend. Bryn had made peace with Zoie's death a long time ago and despite how weird this was to deal with, Bryn had seen weirder. Keeping her attention on Sana, Bryn waited for her to grab her plate for her before finding a table in the corner, away from the main crowd, to sit.
Dr. Victor Bonheur

Location: Building 7: Rec Centre

His smile remained on his face as he heard Tatiana and Jack responding to his greetings and congratulations. He was ever so excited for them to discover their gifts that he'd left in their home once they returned but he knew that would likely not be until morning now. He'd need to catch up with them the next day to get their thoughts on them and to make sure they'd found them. He returned Tatiana's next hug as tightly as he could without messing up her beautiful dress or hairstyle before letting her go.

He gave an appraising nod of his head as Ashton gave over his gift to the newlyweds. It was something that Victor had anticipated Ashton would get them, considering his hobby of alcohol, and the look on Jack's face made it all the better to witness the exchange. A smile crept over his lips as the gratitude was passed between the two men.

Victor physically blanched when Ashton then so blatantly mentioned his friendship with Zoie to Thana. Not that he wanted to keep it secret or anything like that, he just had wanted to save Thana the discomfort of having to discuss her departed sister tonight which was why he did not follow his greeting his his sympathies or condolences. He knew all too well the discomfort of being asked about your intimate thoughts of a departed family member and was one of the things that made him most uncomfortable on a personal level so he would never have dreamed of doing the same to another person he knew, let alone a perfect stranger even if she did have a familiar face that he felt he could trust.

"Oh, ah, Captain there is no--" He stopped mid-sentence as Thana took his hand and shook it while giving her condolences to him in a rather blank tone. Surprise slipped across his face which quickly morphed into curiousity but he did his best to stamp it down. Tonight was not the night for this. "Non mon cher, you have my deepest condolences." He gave her hand a quick and gentle pat before releasing it from his grasp before it made her too uncomfortable. "But let us talk of something more welcoming for you instead..." His words trailed off as he waved at the next couple of people that were approaching their small crowd.

Victor was glad to see his other new world daughter approaching. As Kris walked over with Niesha he gave them both a bright smile. He was a little surprised that Kris did not greet him but overall thought little of it as the night was that of the newlyweds and their new guest. Everyone would be wanting to give congratulations and gifts and thanks and, of course, to meet their guest one-on-one. It was selfish to worry about something as trivial as a forgotten greeting tonight. Victor wondered where Tatiana was wandering off to and he was worried about the sad look that had crossed her face before she had excused herself but he knew that she would be okay on her.

He listened into the conversations and smiled idly then when Thana mentioned food but not wanting to leave Ashton's side, Victor thought it would be a good opportunity to save Ashton and Thana from the growing crowd. "Jack is correct Doctor Martin, James is the best cook in Newnan so you won't be left wanting." He then nodded as Ashton excused himself and Thana. Following suit, but not the couple, Victor moved to the food station and grabbed some things before heading over to the meat counter for the next Grady special.

Tiffany Lyle

Building 7 (Rec Center)

Tiffany was getting hungry and hoped they would be able to grab some food soon. She was happy Beatrice sat down with them too. She liked her a lot and was happy to have someone else to chat with. "Thanks, though Tatiana stole the show. Her dress was beautiful. Weddings really aren't about all of us though, so it doesn't matter if we like them or not. They are more for the bride than anyone, so I hope she got all she wanted out of it." She had to admit, she didn't much care for weddings either. She'd been to a few in her time and though she was engaged, her idea was a nice, simple wedding. Mainly family and close friends. That's all she needed.

Thinking of her past fiance made her appreciate Ray more. She would always love Zachary, but he wasn't here anymore. He would want her to move on. To survive and thrive in the world today. Ray provided that for her. Stability and dependability.

Beatrice continued the conversation, "Same old, same old, really. This wedding was a nice distraction to the daily life here."

Afternoon, February 14th, 2010

Sunday, such a Holy Day. The fourteenth of February? Such a day for lovers. No wonder you all chose this day for Tatiana and Jack to be wed but I am afraid things cannot always be peaceful. I must admit, I was offended that I was not invited to the wedding. Shame, shame. Not that has anything to do with what is happening right now, I am a fair deliverer of death as you know. The roll of the dice determines your fate and how they fall has nothing to do with hurt feelings. Mores-the-pity. Anyways, shall we begin? Yes let's.

Let's see what the group is up to currently....

Where to begin? Oh yes... The little woman, aka Tatiana. Mrs. Newnan. Poor girl. Where is she? She stepped away from her new husband and well... She's just stepped behind the storage curtain. Apparently she needed to retrieve something. She is out of sight for right now.

Let's move on and get back to her later. Thana, another poor girl. People crowding around and such. Interesting enough but after a long day it is probably the last thing she wants. Thana is looking over at Niesha and nods slightly. "Oh, the pack of clothing? Yes, Miss Sally made sure I received it a short time ago. Thank you." Cocking a brow she nodded once again, this time in agreement. "Yes, I couldn't agree more but here I am," she told Niesha. Victors condolences cause a look to come to Thana and she shook her head with one slow shake. "No need, I have no want to speak of monsters while at a wedding," she said rather bluntly. Seems Thana is not one to hold her tongue. Granted her words did not come off as cruel, more of as it was a statement of pure fact. With as much emotion as if she had just told someone two plus two equaled four.

Thana seems pleased with the distraction, mentioning of food and such from the Captain. "I think I have had enough introductions for the evening. Shall we?" she states as she motions with one hand over towards the buffet and she can be heard by Ash alone a slight grunt as she spots James there. Seems she doesn't wish to speak to him. At least not right then. Taking a breath though she lifts her chin and lets Ash lead her over if he is so inclined. She is half tempted to feign a headache to get out of there but Thana isn't one to put up false fronts for any reason. She will stick it out for now.

Now, outside of the wall, things are a bit different. Well very different from what is going on inside the walls of Newnan but not much different than they were when we last saw Ravi and Gavin. Gavin is still singing his heart out. Ravi's words only serving to cause his volume to grow but he has switched songs. Now he is butchering the National Anthem... Not the United States one, the United Kingdoms... Oh lord help him, he is belting this away as a walker is spotted trying to move through the snow. It's mostly frozen but that doesn't matter. It needs to be put down so new Bowie knife out and Gavin trudges through the snow towards it, still singing. The Walker is female and just as he drives the blade through the half frozen cranial cavity he bellows out "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!"

Well, now that that show is over with. Who haven't we dealt with yet? Gavin is singing, Thana is wishing she had stayed in bed that morning, Tatiana is getting something. Oh yes, Mr. Ireland himself. Well he is just being him. Waltzing over to the buffet and grabbing a plate. He seems a bit too focused on getting food than actually messing with Chloe. Well, not entirely. You see, he hands her a plate and then grabs another for himself. "So, gonna let me have a dance later?" he asks as he gives her a shit eatin' grin while piling on the sides and waiting for James to get some meat on his plate. Granted there are others there so he has to wait a bit. That isn't stopping Ryan, he is taking bites of his sides as he waits. That and watching Sana.

Sana grumbles as she gets over to James. "Well as long as Ash hasn't left a note saying I have to eat standing here like dipshit," she says pointing over to Ryan who looks at her mouth half open and full of food.

"Hey!"

"Shut it Irish, just shut it," Sana growls under her breath. Holding out her plate to James she lets him fill it up before grabbing some sides and storming off to a table. Walking passed Tatiana as she comes back carrying a small gift box in her hand and is heading back over to Jack.

So that's everyone... Well not entirely. You see someone did something naughty and that is why I am here. Jim is on duty at the bar and while all this was happening, someone stole something. Theft is not something that goes over well in Newnan. Jim narrows his eyes at Bryn. "Ash gave me fucking orders. Don't like it take it up with him," he said before uttering the word bitch under his breath. Jim isn't part of the security team for nothing. He isn't the lead on the wall for nothing. Jim keeps things working and because he is Lead Wall, when Jack or Ash are indisposed he is the next in line for Security. People don't get that much trust and responsibility placed on them for being blind.

Bryn might be in a gown with large sleeves but she isn't used to moving in a dress. She also doesn't have any skills for theft or slight of hand. Her stealing the glass does not go unnoticed. Jim unfastens his side arm as she walks away from the table. He can't leave his post so he flags down another member of the security team and lets them know what is up. The man looks a bit shocked but nods and toddles off and straight over to Ash. Leaning in he whispers into Ash's ear what just happened and points to the bar where Jim is standing with his hand resting on his side arm and then over to Bryn who has the glass hidden up her sleeve. Sure it is empty but she stole it none the less and that is a no-no in Newnan. Shit is about to get interesting.

So yeah, I wasn't here for a death but it could be one. We will have to wait and see what the punishment it. Maybe I will see you lovelies again soon. Toodles!

Amelia Payne

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

“Ahhh...” Amelia made a surprised sound as Riley asked if she wanted to go and give their congratulations to the newlyweds and their greetings to Thana now. Amelie looked distressed for a moment before taking a deep breath, shaking her head slightly and then replying.” No... I also think we should wait a little more. We shouldn't rush it... there's more than enough time until the reception's over.” She added with a smile, looking down and noting how not really great were her shoes with this dress.

“You know, I love to hear your singing!” She stated when Riley proposed a private show. Music was one of the few things that still worked as good ways to enjoy the time. Since the apocalypse started, internet was down, television was down, radio was no longer working or at least the music station which she cared about. Beside reading books, everything else was just sort of not around anymore. Having a real singer she really liked listen to here, brought one of her favorite things. She smiled and looked at Riley.” Just say when, we should figure out when our freetime coincides. I want to hear a good few songs, you know. ” Amelia stated with a shy smile, bringing the glass of alcohol to her lips. She decided it was best to only pretty much slightly wet her lips with the drink for now. She'd still get taste, but wouldn't really be drinking. Gosh how long has it been since she was tried alcohol... she was still in highschool when she got tricked into drinking a beer! Her memories were still sort of hazy of the time.

“I..don't know.” Was Amelia's reply when Riley asked her about Dick. He was just so... Amelia shuddered just thinking about it.” Maybe he'd show up later?” Still she added with a tiny smile.” I fear him showing up will end up in a chaotic event.” She mumbled. She was just about to change her mind and say they should go now, but noticed Tati was gone.'Well later it is then.' She thought." So Riley, what are your plans for after the reception?"

Jack Hudson

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Jack shook his head. He had been racking his brains trying to think of what Tatiana had to run off to get, but he honestly was drawing a blank. He figured it wasn't a wedding present--and if it was, he'd need to run off real quick and grab hers. He had kept it safe, intending to give it to her after the wedding. Wedding dresses didn't quite have pockets and he didn't want her to have to lug it around.

"A dynasty?" Jack chuckled. He had thought every now and then about starting a family with Tatiana, but the dangers always seemed too big. This world was filled with death and destruction, even if there were moments of happiness. He couldn't justify to himself bringing a child into it. All that child would know would be the world of Newnan, a world filled with horrors and nightmares. That wasn't a place for a kid.

He felt a bit shocked at Thana's remark about her sister, Zoie. The woman seemed incredibly kind to him when he first arrived to Newnan, but all families had their drama. There was a reason he lived with his mother and never really got to know his father. He figured that Thana would have her reasons as well. Nodding at Ash's request to give Thana some breathing room, Jack remained where he was, perking up vastly as he spotted Tatiana coming over. He noticed one of the security team go over and whisper to Ash, and while he was the security lead, he couldn't help but be distracted by his wife.

"Everythin' okay, solovey?" Jack asked, once Tatiana had made her way over.

Beatrice Decker

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

With the kiss on the forehead and the backrub shared between Ray and Tiffany, Beatrice felt a little bit like puking. Beyond Tiffany, her only friends in Newnan were James and Ryan. The latter was another hopelessly in love fuck, and with James busy serving food, hanging with Ray and Tiffany was her only real option. Still, that didn't mean she didn't try to look away as they did couple things, in her best attempt to not be rude to her friend. But it was a struggle to keep her face expressionless.

"How can Tatiana steal the show?" Beatrice asked, arching an eyebrow. "You said it yourself. This entire shit fest is about the bride from the very start." But as to whether it was a nice distraction...She'd need some alcohol in her system to be able to agree with Tiffany on that matter. The sooner the wedding was over, the better. And then, everything would go back to what could pass for normal in Newnan.

"Still surviving, not much is new, really," Beatrice responded to Ray. "Yourself?"

Chloe Ridgeway

Location: The Rec Center (Building 7)

Chloe smiled slightly, waving back at her sister. She seemed to be really happy over there with Amelia, to the extent that Chloe wouldn't be surprised if the two of them ended up asking to be reassigned housing together by the end of the month. She took another sip of the drink, enjoying the subtle burn of the alcohol as it slid down her throat. It was tempting to chug it all at once, to take as many drinks as they'd let her, until she blacked out. But closing her hand slightly, her nails digging in once more, she reminded herself of how far she'd come. She didn't beat one addiction just to pick up another.

Accepting the plate from Ryan, Chloe paused for a moment. She had already let the man kiss her hair and drape his arm around her today. Anything more, Chloe figured, and the man would definitely get the wrong idea. Taking another sip of her drink--more of a gulp this time, as to buy herself extra time to answer--she wondered if talking to the resident therapist about what to do with the Irishman might be a good plan for the next day. "As long as it doesn't mean shit, okay?" Chloe stipulated. "We've talked about this, remember...?"

More and more people were coming over to get some meat, and on balance, Chloe didn't really enjoy the company of any of them. Bryn gave her the creeps, Sana only repeated the same warning about Riley, Froggy judged her for a habit she kicked fucking four years ago, and then from what she could tell, the Captain and his date were making their way over as well. All in all, as soon as James finished up serving the meat to Ryan and her, she had plans to find a spot in the corner where she could shut out reality.

"You'd rather she call you a prag?" Chloe snickered slightly, her move swinging back to something more positive as Sana insulted Irish.

Ravi Chakrabarti

Location: Four miles west of Newnan, in the snow.

Ravi shook his head slightly, wondering why he even bothered to try to get Gavin to quiet down. The walkers were slower in the snow at any rate, and the man seemed to be more than capable of handling them. As Gavin switched into the British anthem, Ravi faked bliss washing over his face, as he waved his hands up and down in the air, like conducting a band. "I'll make a proper tory out of you yet, mate," Ravi joked, fixing his beard as more bits of snow got caught in it.

But as the walker appeared, Ravi's heart skipped a beat. It was female, and as Gavin drove the knife through its brain, bellowing the anthem all the same, Ravi had to force a chuckle. His blood felt like it was running cold, and he couldn't help but stare as the walker dropped to the ground, dead. Logically, he knew that his best friend, Liv, was long since dead. Logically, he knew that there was nothing he could have done to help her, no possibility of a cure to administer.

Yet an immense feeling of guilt washed over him all the same. He had sworn to first do no harm--he had made a vow as a doctor. And those walkers, to Ravi, he felt like he betrayed them, each time he watched them die. There was brain activity, there was life--but even then, Ravi couldn't fool himself. There was no coming back from that level of death, from the infection that spread so rapidly and so mercilessly. He would have to kill a walker again. He would have to overcome that guilt.

But that didn't make him feel any less inhumane and merciless, any less like the walkers who killed for the sake of survival, who killed for the sake of killing. He hated to give up on people. But at the end of the day, Ravi was British. Stiff upper lip and all. And so, plastering a grin on his face, he joined Gavin in on the musical onslaught.

Riley Ridgeway

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

"That's what I was thinking, they seem to be pretty swamped with the others congratulating them." Riley said softly as she ran a hand through her hair for a moment, she blushed slightly when Amelia complimented on her singing she never did take any singing lessons growing up or when she first started. She had slight lessons here and there to refine it after she started getting bigger, but other than that singing just came natural to her without having any assistance. "I'm free pretty much after my duties so whenever you'd like to listen i'm free after that." Riley answered as her attention went towards the bar area, seeing one of the security guys making his way over to Ashton and whispering into his ear. She wasn't sure what it was all about, but at the moment it didn't seem like it was really any of her business Riley shook her head when Amelia asked her a question.

"After the whole reception?" Riley asked, as she thought she didn't really have anything planned unless of course someone did require her services after that. "Honestly, not sure if they need me I guess help clean up things here or just go back to my place and chill for the evening." Riley answered, she then noticed as the people started to get in line to get their food she looked at Amelia. "Lets go and grab some food." Riley said, she saw Chloe waving back at her still standing with Ryan most of the time Riley cringed whenever he got to close to her sister. She imagined that at some point Ryan might do something Chloe doesn't like and she would end up slapping him across the face.

She stood up from the table feeling her stomach starting to growl some more Riley grabbed herself a plate and got in line right next to Victor, Riley gave a smile towards him and gave the resident head doctor a friendly nudge with her elbow. "Hows it going doc?" Riley asked, she didn't talk much to him or hang out with him.

Raymond Mendoza

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Ray looked at Beatrice for a moment, he started to get the feeling that she didn't like their little display of affection for one another and made a note to not do it as much in front of her when he is with Tiffany. "Not a whole lot either just enjoying the wedding is all." Raymond answered giving a slight shrug, he was really happy for Jack and being his best man. Raymond looked over at the buffet that was set up once more he saw that people were getting in line already for their food. "I'm going to get some food i'll be right back. You two keep talking." Ray said and kissed Tiffany on the cheek. Ray grabbed his crutch, it took him two tries before finally getting up onto his good foot and made his way towards the growing line. Moving around with one leg had been really hard for the last year for him, but he managed to get around just fine on his own.

As Ray got into line he looked back at Tiffany he was happy to have her, and didn't regret losing a leg because of it but he did worry not seeing her again whenever she had to go for a run. Shaking the thought out of his head as Ray looked over he saw Riley standing in line next to him and Froggy as well, Ray got along really well with Froggy and enjoyed spending the time with the man. "How are you two doing?" Ray asked Riley looked at Ray and smiled at him as well. "I'm well thanks." She answered him.

Kristina Smith

Location: Building 7 (Rec Center)

Kristina looked at Thana when she mentioned her sister, though it wasn't her position to bring it up she assumed that there was some sort of bad blood between Zoie and Thana. Which was most likely a reason why Zoie never mentioned Thana in the first place while she was alive in Newnan. Kristina waved goodbye to Ashton and Thana as the two headed off towards the buffet that was set up for everyone. She watched as Froggy turned and made his way towards the food station, which she just realized that she didn't even say hi to him when she initially came over to say hi to Tatiana, Thana and Jack. Which she didn't mean to do Kris sort of just got carried away with wanting to congratulate the newlyweds Kris decided to go and hang out with Froggy a little bit later on in the evening and see how he was doing. Kristina turned her attention towards Jack when he answered her question and giggled slightly at his answer.

"So are you and Mrs. Newnan going to have kids anytime soon?" Kristina asked teasingly, though she probably knew the answer she didn't want to have a child either in this world and have to raise it in a world that was more like a real life horror movie now. Kristina saw Tatiana coming back seeing her carrying a bag she started to wonder what it was that Tatiana was holding in it. She walked over and gave Tatiana another loving hug. "Welcome back!" Kris said happily. "What do you have there?" Kristina asked, getting curious what Tatiana had gone to grab,
