I think to sell someone on an interest check, it's really important to seem enthusiastic about your own idea. That means writing more than a single sentence to attract potential players.

Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.
Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss
Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)
Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.
Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.
RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.
As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.
RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.
And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.
Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.
Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...
Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.
Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.
@zelxel Might help if your interest check was more than "I'm looking for people to join my Sailor Moon rp it's walk in style."
People want to be sold an idea, and they want to see you have passion for it. Magical girl RPs crop up all the time and you have to try a bit harder if you want to garner any attention. Try looking at other interest checks for the section you plan on hosting it in to get a feel for what an interest check should look like.
Nuncio explained things as best as he could to the smol dawl, but lol at retyping something so redundant here. He did have to be somewhat brief, as a tribunal was unfolding before his very eyes, and you could miss an important detail just by blinking.
"...that's it, more or less."
Nuncio's phone vibrated. He gave it a quick look before slipping it back into his pocket.
"Oof. Gotta go for a bit. Enjoy the seat, and let me know what happens when I get back."
The mafioso went deeper into the crowd, and eventually vanished from sight. Possibly even sanctuary. Even snoopy with all his snooping prowess could not discern where the mad lad had gone to. Rosa's back remained plush and soft, even in his absence.
pardon my early morning meme speak, someone in my household thought 4-5 AM was a great time to blast youtube out of their speakers.
When Kefira settled into one of her personas, that was it. She never broke character regardless of what happened. It was often life or death, and not always her own. She didn’t even bat an eye when the office locked itself down. But even if Kefira didn’t show it, she felt it. Lorelei was an intense individual, and something as over the top is this would only be done if she knew it was warranted.
Kefira listened, nodding when appropriate. She stepped closer to the screens to get a better look at the security footage. Then Lorelei explained her orders.
It was quiet, but only for a moment.
Kefira broke the silence with a long sigh. "So if I have this right…" She kept her hands to her sides. "...You’re taking me off of undercover work, making me a detective, and putting me on a high profile case the entire state is watching. It’s entirely off the record so no one is going to know the PDC is even getting involved. The only people I can turn to for help are some online vigilante detectives and an android I’m being partnered up with." It was truly a mixed bag for Kefira. During the nine years she had been a police officer she had always wanted to be a detective, and this seemed like a good way to get her foot in the door. Though working with an AIDA unit presented its own set of problems. Lorelei’s order was akin to to a parent telling their child “Hey! We’re going to Disney World! But first you need to go to the dentist!” It was hard to get too excited.
Su and Penny fighting and falling off a cliff to their death is the most IC thing I've seen there.
Also I think it's been long enough that we can count the votes!
Drum roll, please!
I want to see a few of them die, actually. 50.00% (5 votes)
Sing it sisters! Half the players can't be wrong!
Broken Promise is too predictable a choice, someone else needs to kill off their character(s) 20.00% (2 votes)
Oh, now I don't think I'd be that predictable. Amber was the only one I willingly killed off. But fair enough, you folks can vote however you like.
None! I love everyone! 20.00% (2 votes)
The monsters too I bet.
Weaklings...
All Magical girls = the dead 10.00% (1 votes)
I'm all for sending Penrose straight into oblivion, but that sounds anticlimactic. Popcorn is best enjoyed a few kernels at a time. I mean I do like to shovel a handful into my face from time to time but not the whole bowl.
Kefira never got to experience the displeasure of using a high school shower. Now she was using one at the PDC, she knew what she had been missing.
The showers were both claustrophobic and made her feel exposed, a phenomenon she thought impossible to experience. Each shower head was mounted on a wall with two sub walls on either side. If you were showering, your back was exposed to a narrow curtain that hadn’t been changed since the resource shortage (probably). If you were fortunate, you could take a shower while no one else was there. But there was always the threat that someone could enter at any time.
Kefira wasn’t bothered by others seeing her naked. Her anxiety stemmed from the fact that someone who didn’t know her might mistaken the undercover cop for a convict. Even now there were “semi-permanent” tattoos on her body. Snakes coiling around her biceps with the head of a lion on her back. They’d ware off on their own in a few weeks, but no amount of water could wash them off. At least for her last cover, she didn’t have to dye her blond mane. That always took months to grow out, and one time she even shaved her head just to be rid of the extra colors. The PDC was the last place you wanted to be suspected of being a criminal.
Not that criminals didn’t dress up like cops sometimes.
The door to the shower room swung open. Kefira turned to look through the semi-transparent curtain and saw the silhouette of a woman walk in front of it. She didn’t keep walking either. The stranger turned towards Kefira and folded her arms behind her back. She wasn’t so paranoid that she’d carry her side arm into the shower with her, so all Kefira could do was wait for the figure to make their move. And that move was to speak.
”Kefira?”
"Oh!" Kefira grinned as the tention left her body. The blurred shape on the other side of the curtain was one that she recognized. Elizabeth was a plump woman with dark skin, but Kefira always called her- "Aunt Jemima! Don’t scare me like that!"
”…Could you call me somethin’ that ain’t so dated?”
"But it fits you so well!"
”Because I’m black?”
"Because you’re sweet!"
”Hmph!” It was hard to tell if ‘Aunt Jemima’ smiled at that one or not, with the moldy shower curtain obscuring her face. But at this point she should really be use to Kefira’s banter. ”I came here to say Lorelei wants to see you.”
"Did she tell you why?"
”She wasn’t transparent with the matter.”
"Transparent eh? Can't get anymore transparent than naked when you're clean."
”…Huh?”
"Nothing worth repeating. I’m gunna finish scrubbing and then I’ll see her." Kefira turned around to do just that. "Thanks Elizabeth."
With her uniform on, Kefira felt a lot better. Her hair hadn’t finished drying, but none of her tattoos were visible. Either way, she probably looked respectable enough to entered Lorelei’s office.
As the chief of police, Lorelei did not have a ton of time on her hands. It was usually a bad omen if you were summoned, but that had seldom been the case for Kefira. If anything, she seemed to get along well with the chief of police. That was probably because she didn’t screw around with her as much as she did her fellow officers, like Elizabeth.
The elevator had gone as high as it would go. With a ding, the elevator doors slid open. Kefira marched her way towards Lorelei’s office, but not without examining her hair in a window’s reflection. She tapped a button on the door and it slid open, allowing her to step inside.
"Chief." Kefira nodded her head towards Lorelei as the door shut behind her. "I was told you wanted to see me?"
”Hold up, somethin’s tryin’a bounce up into our undercarriage! ”
— Viridian
Viridian’s heartfelt laugh bubbled into the heads of the cradle agents, and also into a communication device Mariette had provided her with. ”Darlin’, we got some clowns bumblin’ their way into the fort.”
The report felt redundant, if unnecessarily. No spell could accurately replicate the inner workings of Mariette and Eli’s minds, and so no spell could trick Viridian. Even if that somehow had tricked her, all of the magical girls fighting under Mariette should be aware of where the portal witch was holding herself up. They were just briefed after all. Only a fool wouldn’t suspect a disguise was in play. It was a momentary distraction at best.
”Alright girls, the interlopers are gunna glow a nice bright blue for ya, so don’t hesitate to rough ‘em up on sight!”
Sure enough, the cradle agents would all see blue hues over their vision. It was a similar effect to the rave when Veronica marked targets she was interested in.
Without the spectacle of eros, Dusty and friends weren’t having much luck gunning down the assault team. They were hesitant to be too rough with the brainwashed girls, but did their best to disable them. Once the storm let up, they would be much better off. Perhaps they could hit some other targets.
“Very good Helga. I will need you shortly.” She was putting most of her focus into getting her spell ready, but all would be for naught if nobody understood what she was doing. “I’m going to create a wind storm. You will join me in the eye of the storm to ensure we both survive. Trixy, your seeds will get pulled into it. I don’t know what you’re capable of, but I trust you can assist us from up here?”
”Don’t try to take on the whole enemy team yourself!” Trixy had an arm full of dandelion puffs. ”The foyer is loaded with magical girls.”
”Think nothing of it Trixy. While Justine is someone I’d like to have words with, I have learned to temper my anger. I am here to ensure Mariette survives, which I can’t do if I’m slain.”
Su had gone though quite the transformation. For the longest time, she thought that Amber’s death would be the single most defining moment in her life. She spent weeks ruing the day she let Justine escape, and cut herself off from everyone for a time. But but over the past few months, up into the last few weeks, Su had continued to change. As hurt as she was, she had started to heal. Somewhere along the way she learned to love again. She welcomed Mika into her life, she fell in love with one of Justine’s commanders, she could play tennis with a shady assassin. Stepping onto a roof where a hedge line was all that kept Justine away from Su was the bravest thing she had ever done. She felt empty when she heard Justine’s voice. Su’s goals were above petty things like her destruction. She needed to ensure Mariette was alive, as well as Helga, Samantha, Trixy, hell, she even felt like Lily deserved a fourth or fifth chance.
But now was not the time for reflection. Brainwashed girls were being beaten and killed, Justine was picking off magical girls left and right, and who knew what was happening inside.
…and then Su swung her arm folward, and the clouds fell from the sky.
The hotel manager took Helga by the hand and ran for the edge of the mansion. Together they jumped into the eye of the incoming storm. A wall of clouds fell all around them, and an updraft pushed them into the sky. They were suspended, upside down, spinning like two ballroom dancers.
Feilian was no normal tornado. The outside of the twister was a downdraft, bringing frigged air to the earth. The inside was an updraft, blowing everything in the twister’s path up into the sky. As a result, the tornado had a tendency to draw things into it, then fire them up past Su and Helga. All the while, snow, stone, and whatever else happened to be under Feilian was thrown into the sky. Smashed by the fist of an angry god, before being pitched into the heavens. Such was the power of this spell. The downside was that for Su to properly maintain it, she had to be in the center. Of the storm at all times.
”We’re being pushed up faster than we can fall.” Su explained to Helga. ”You should be able to move around, just don’t get too close to the wall, okay?” She slowly released Helga. ”See if you can use your sound magic to spot incoming attacks.” The walls of the storm were almost impossible to see through, but they weren’t sound proof.
The storm was presently headed towards the beacon girls. A tower of frigid clouds with snow and stone added to the mix. It seemed like everything was tumbling at the base of the storm, which meant that the clouds being pulled in from above would only get denser and denser. They could very well be dealing with giant ice chunks at any moment. Synergy between magical girls could be frightening.
”That’s gunna be a big yikes from me…” Outside of the storm, Trixy could only watch. ”Here are your seeds, hope you do something cool with them.” She threw the white puffballs into the air, and they were sucked directly into the storm, with no visible effect. ”Alright boys, let’s give Su and Helga some backup!” While her clones were bothered by the storm, the Spectacle of Eros made firing in such conditions much easier. It could adjust for wind speed automatically, and even let her know if a bullet was going to land ahead of time.
But it seemed like Justine’s cronies were getting pretty close.
”Gah!”
Trixy fired on the incoming cronies. When Trixy managed a hit, they would be bound with roots and fall into the snow below. Wounding incoming threats was something she left up to Dusty and the girls.
”Thanks for the warning, Eliza! A bit occupied at the moment but I’ll offer support as soon as I can!”

”I do find something endearing about that unshakable confidence, Shion.” The mint operative slid his hands into his pockets. ”I have a few things, actually. But let’s start with this: Makoto hasn’t been seen for several months now, and I know you know where she is. The Mint is interested in her and what she’s been doing.” he gave the school girl a sideways glance. ”Is that something you feel like talking about?”
“Epic!” Oros ran up to Summer and threw her arm over her shoulder. “So how does this work, do we just sort of teleport? Do you click your heels? ...Should I click my heels?”
