I have seen others use the elemental races and that, they work more for talking to certain species that you may or may not encounter

1.) Setting will be using both homebrew and the forgotten realms
2.) I would love to continue after LMoP
3.) No Investigation is for searching specific things, where as perception is a wider field of things they are two very different skills
4.) I will be using the book, however if I think the story is becoming boring for the characters I will add to it to make it more interesting
