Fall of Techtronica.

Welcome to the land of Techtronica. The music wars have been long and hard and have left many with little to eat and much more are struggling as the Metalhead clans to the north have united under a new king and are sending raiding parties into the region. The noble warriors of the kingdom have been fighting them off in regiments known as the subgenres. Each regiment consists of many groups of four to five individuals and has been fighting off the invaders with a passion for many decades. Now? The last three groups are desperately trying to hold the last label alive within the country.

Starting post and setting

“Prepare the bass!”, captain Kronos yelled into the microphone. The final.k.. battle was about to go down. He cried out a final word of support, “KILL THE NOISE!”, the whole city fell silent and then the drums (Black Eyed Peas-electric city) began to play. The enemy stood frozen for just a second before charging. They had to get closer before preparations were complete. Each beat of the cannon sent out a wave that forced the attackers to fall back a step. The voice that shouted orders was sending radiation hurtling towards them. Then the killer came as they chanted the name of their label. The bragging rights of their president aired before the preparations came to a head. The glitches of the code were present and the final bass cannon failed. Power was becoming unstable and the director issued his warnings. Now only down to vocal attacks the citizens were worried the label would fall. Then commander Brady fell from the city walls and their last defence was gone. “Breach breach breach!”, captain Kronos shouted over the city communications. The attackers were bashing down the door and the firewalls were failing. It was total chaos as people desperately tried to flee the incoming massacre. Then suddenly a tinkling (Mindless Self Indulgence-Animal) twinkled through the streets. Four rejects of the grand army began to play their song over the communications battery. The sound hurt the ears of the residents but the invaders? They were screaming in pain as the radiation and the sole functioning bass cannon fired into the mass of soldiers at the gate. Through the city communication grid a voice could be heard. “Make your way to the tunnels. We shall prevail. ~All is not lost…..Brainmash out……*A scream and then a static hiss*”, a loud explosion racked through the streets as the command module atop the city blew up into chunks that rained down upon the streets.
