Kaze

Kaze largely ignored the people around him, only taking in the occasional word here and there. He was also left alone, few really had the nerve to be near him or interact with him. Mostly because he towered over them and height tended to intimidate people. Although oddly someone stood near him and was giving him a glare. The air around her felt colder which was pretty interesting. Although her order made his eyes narrow. Before he could respond to her another teen seemed to have come to his defense. The boy and girl bickered a little before the girl turned her attention back to him.

Leaning down a little he reached out, his hands still hidden by his cloak, and picked her up as if she were a toy before placing her down on the other side of him. "I moved." He said, his voice quite odd. It was like numerous deep voiced beings talking at once. Once that debacle was over Jade finally spoke up and listed off a few rules, two of which applied to a couple of the students. Eira and himself. "It's mostly to stop the stares, Lady Jade." He said before slipping off the cloak. It fell in a heap at his feet before his tail scooped it up and put it aside. Meanwhile his wings stretched out, the joints creaking and crackling, before settling down.

The clicking from before made sense now that the students could actually see the flesh-ripping claws drumming occasionally on the ground. Students could understand why he wore the cloak so often, his powers never turned off unlike theirs. They could actively hide out in plain sight. Being a giant draconic being made that just a smidgen difficult.

Powers: Dragon's Blood

• Armored Body: The scales and plates lining his body, while flexible, are as hard as steel. The muscle underneath is just as hard making it hard for normal people and weaker mutants to actually physically harm him.
• Bestial Strength: Even before he changed he was a strong being. His powers enhanced his strength multiple times over, giving him the ability to throw vehicles and plow through concrete walls.
• Animal Sense: Like any animal he has an exceptional sense of smell and hearing. His touch and taste however have been reduced while his sight is largely unchanged.
• Reptilian Healing: Like most reptiles and amphibians his healing is enhanced compared to your typical person. A months worth of healing done in a week, a weeks worth in a couple days, a days worth in minutes. He can still be killed from sustained damage but it's much harder.
• Corrosive Blood: His blood is oddly corrosive. Like a mild acid. He figured his powers took after dungeons and dragons, what with the black ones being acidic based. It burns but it's not going to melt you alive unless you fill a tub and jump in.
• Permanent: Once he changed he never could get back to his human form. Much like Beast from the X-Men, except he didn't science himself that way. It's just how he is and now it's impossible to hide in plain sight.
• Heavy Body: He's roughly a ton, two thousand pounds, which means unless he's dropped from high up he's incapable of flight. Merely power jumps and gliding.

Skills:

• Melee Combat Expert: He's at home up front and personal. Give him a weapon, literally any melee weapon, and he'll put it to good use. Smashing skulls, walls, vehicles, or using it as a shield.
• Hand to Hand: He's never truly unarmed, given his claws and tail, so he learned the best way to utilize them. He's exceptional in hand to hand combat, his animalistic movements making it hard for others to predict his next attack.
• Smith: He enjoys making weapons and he's damn good at it. He's dabbled in armor but the most he can really do are simple things like breastplates and shields.
• Demolitions: He knows where and how to hit a building to get it to come tumbling down. The joys of creating is you can figure out how to destroy much easier.

Personality: Kaze is very gruff when first met with. He has a very no nonsense attitude most of the time and has little to no problems speaking his mind. He'd also be considered insane considering his love for charging face first into combat. Although if he considers you a friend or ally he'll rip apart everything in his way to help if it's in his power to do so. Like dragons of lore he's incredibly possessive and will get murderous if you take anything deemed his. This includes people.

Biography:
Kaze honestly doesn't remember much of his past. Mostly by choice since nothing important really happened. He had been human, and then he had changed. Unlike other mutants he had never been able to hide in plain sight, so he hid out in the wilderness. During that time he had learned what he could about his own capabilities and promptly murdered any normal human that discovered him. The damage relatable to bears. So it was rarely investigated.

Well you could only mess around in nature for so long before you get bored. So he snagged one of those fancy new phones people always went on about. He wasn't stupid he just chose to live in the woods. During his little research time he found out how to make basic forges and how to make medieval arms and armor. Which he went about doing by stealing the stuff needed in the night. Specifically from scrapyards because the dogs cowered from him instead of trying to actually defend the property.

Of course stealing from the military, even decommissioned gear, was a bad move. He was finally discovered, apprehended, and imprisoned. Which was a bit of a bitch even with their sentinels given that he could chuck his hammer like a pro and knew the forest like the back of his hand. When he was imprisoned it was a hassle to keep him there too, he had numerous escape attempts under his belt. So now he is wrapped up in metal bands, muzzled, and chained to the point he can't even flex a muscle. He's forced to eat through a straw since no one really dares to try to unmuzzle him just in case he gets violent again.

Equipment:

• God Striker: A massive maul made of steel he made. It's unsurprisingly in the shape of a fist and one has to be of similar strength and height to not go flying with each swing.
• Ragnarok: An axe built much like his maul. Huge and designed to be wielded by him or those of similar strength and size. It's actually made from the plate off of a tank.
• Aegis: A shield made from a decommissioned tank. Steel and titanium roughly three inches thick, wide and tall enough even he can be fully behind it.

Other: Like reptiles he hates the cold. It'll either make him hibernate or just flat kill him if it's cold enough. He's also very tall, standing at almost nine feet in height.

Kaze looked around at the bright halls and rich decor as he moved through the facility. He had been told to go to the Arena but the place was hard for him to get around still. He kind of missed the forest and the simplicity it involved. He got the odd look from the people he passed, but that was because of the massive cloak that hid his entire body from view. It also didn't help that he literally towered over everyone he came across. Still he had places to go so he inhaled. He found the teachers scent and followed it with that odd animalistic lope.

Upon arriving he peeked into the room. Students were lined up around the Arena with Lady Jane in the middle. The room was well lit so he had no way of just sneaking in and avoiding the eyes of the other students like his instincts were telling him to. Snuffing he started into the room, each step was a dull thud thanks to his weight. But the others could hear clicks after he walked, it was the claws hidden from sight drumming lightly on the ground.

He kept away from the other students but he heard their whispers. Either about him or about Lady Jane's appearance. He ignored it though and kept his dully glowing crimson eyes on the teacher. Aside from the snuff he had made no sound, to either greet or just jabber like the others.

Kaze is a tall being, standing at eight feet tall. Everything about him says 'intimidation', from the claws on his fingers to the teeth in his mouth. His body is covered in black scales while his chin to the tip of his tail are royal purple colored plates. His eyes, which glow the slightest bit, are a deep crimson while his horns and claws are pure white.

Power: Dragon's Blood

• Enhanced Strength: His degree of strength is exceptionally high, able to flip or throw vehicles.
• Enhanced Senses: Being bestial his sense of smell and hearing are enhanced. Taste and touch are reduced while sight remains largely untouched.
• Armored Body: The scales and plates lining his body are exceptionally tough, up there with steel but still able to be damaged.
• Heat Resistance: Being a reptile he enjoys the heat, sometimes even just curling up in flames.
• Heavy: While he does have wings, he's simply to heavy to actually fly unless he's dropped from a really high point.
• Cold Weakness: He despises the cold. It either makes him hibernate, or if he's exposed long enough it will kill him.
• Permanent: Unfortunately he has yet to 'turn it off'. So he can't even hide what he is like most other people.

Background:
Kaze honestly doesn't remember much of his past. Doesn't remember any family, what he looked like before his abilities showed, nor his homeland. There was just a tag on his wrist with a name on it while he wandered around the wilderness aimlessly. Word got out about some giant beast wandering some forest somewhere and he was eventually confronted by some of the people who worked at the Safe Haven. He reluctantly went with them, mostly because he understood his differences from others and that someone overzealous would probably shoot him. Figures he remembers what guns are but not anything deemed important by normal society. While learning in the school he had hoped to find a way to control his ability to actually 'turn it off'. So far he either hasn't found the trick or simply can't.

Kaze raised one of his bushy eyebrows at what Kazuki said. "I've read over the rules and regulations before, old and new, and I've never seen a rule that dictates one must leave the extra portion of the job behind if the main part is complete. Plenty of them about poaching or or hunting unregistered." He said while Tamrietta went off to get changed into armor. Saying something about fragile on her way. Was he the only one who liked a little metal in his clothing?

Clara finally spoke up, asking if they'd head out now, once Tamrietta came back in her hunting gear. They could discuss things as they moved out towards the hunting grounds. Maybe they could ask Cyrus, the elder hunter, about all of this when they get back since he seems to have wandered off.
