With the chaos at the warehouse finally being taken care of, the Hunters naturally began to evacuate the premises using whatever means they were capable of. It was totally expected that they would come to the DHA's base seeking their payment, answers, or both. However, before any of them could arrive at the non-descript video rental shop somewhere in the alleys of Siracha's downtown who worked as the DHA's cover, the administrative branch was already there. And naturally so was Mako, the head of such branch.

The secretary had a bag containing the money to pay what the hunters who participated in tonight's hunt beside her as well as a stack of paperwork, including the hunting contracts. Right after getting this done, she pulled a phone and began typing a message.

Just as the hunters began to leave the building they would receive said message from Mako. The contents were short and simple:

Good work out there, everyone. The branch director wants to thank you for your work tonight.
You can collect your payment whenever you want.
However, before any of you arrive here, please stop Da Xia and eliminate the demon she picked up. You can leave the ghost alone, she's a harmless being, but it would be a major inconvenience if one of our own brought a hostile demon to our base.

Mako.

After sending the message Mako turned her attention back to a spreadsheet, this time calculating the deductions she would have to make to hunters' paycheck to pay for the damage they caused during their action. The DHA might operate on the edge of the everyday man's world but they were at least responsible enough to pay back for anything they destroy in their line of work.

"Ugh, what's the deal with everyone saying I'm not fun? Fishes are cute and bring happiness to everyone, y'know," Haruka said, pouting her cheeks in indignation after being berated—nay, slandered—by her sister. The gigantic mermaid made her discontent known with a swipe of her tail sending a wave raging through the city streets at the wild beast before her. "Well, contrary to you, I have friends that would help me when I need...I guess?" Haruka, or rather Diva, said after Hyper Fang pointed that she smelled like Yeshua.

Her indecision would be lifted a moment later when the bird arrived and tried to play the mediator between them. "You know I'm not the one in the wrong here, right? She began it," Diva once again swung her tail, sending another splash towards her sister. "And you, what worth can this world be? I don't think there's anything here of value to the Superior. So, why are you even trying to conquer it?" she asked her sister.

Back at the SS Silencia...

"Hey, what's happening out there? You can't leave me here if there's anyone in danger," Akari said, trying in vain to convince the guard assigned to look over her to let her go as soon as she noticed the ship shaking at beginning of the incident.

It wasn't she noticed a couple of different voices—one of them being unknown to her—that she tried to approach the door once again. "Come on. If you let me go now I'll even forget what you did earlier," she said while still dressed in the maid uniform Haruka arranged for her.

For someone who literally lived her whole life under a rock, Othis was doing pretty well in the world's most bustling metropolis. Sure, sometimes walking around Tokyo felt like wading through a swamp of people, but she could deal with it. Thanks to the fact that Atlas' students were more at home with technology, it wasn't hard for Othis to get used to things like the, seemingly unlimited, credit card she was given before leaving Atlas.

Said credit card was a literal gift from the Heavens, considering the Servant Othis found herself paired to. She was never intended to be a Master in this conflict, but rather an analyst. However, all bets were off as soon as she got a set of command seals and a pretty... strange Roman woman who was a little too "energetic" for Othis to keep up with all the time.

"I believe we should make our way to Nakano. If my calculations are right, I'll find something—or rather someone—I was asked to meet before leaving Atlas if we go there. Is that fine with you, Rider?" Othis asked as she went through her preparations for the night. The half-dressed Alchemist observed the streets from the window of the rather expensive hotel room while drying her ashen-colored hair. The reason why she rented a room in this hotel for Rider and herself after the former insisted on staying in a place that had the most luxurious bathroom they could get in the city.

Not that Othis could complain. The water was pretty good.

Archer - Tomoe Gozen
Archer followed the unknown object with her eyes, watching as it crashed on a nearby building. She had half a mind to try to shoot it down. But, drawing weapons in the middle of the street was already frowned upon, shooting things down without justification probably would earn more than a slap on the wrist to both Archer and especially her Master from the public authorities.

"Fine, but be sure to find a safe place for the two of you, Master. Also, take care of this for me. I fear that, I might end up breaking it, if the situation gets dire," Archer said as she handed her handheld to her Master before entering the building. She tried to go through the front door first, but if that didn't work, the broken window would be as good as any other entrance.

Well, I'm fine here too
Indeed
Ok, since we are at a perfect balance of 4 Servants and 4 Masters, I just have to ask whether or not someone wants to pair with with any of my characters. I can volunteer Li to go with Ismael, since he's the only Servant in the RP who doesn't require much magical energy to do his thing.

We probably should decide whether or not pairs are being formed sooner rather than later so that the RP can move ahead.
The initial chaos in the warehouse seemed to quiet down for a moment only to reawaken with a vengeance. Nevertheless, the actions of one brave huntress saved the victim from a grizzlier end, right before whatever supernatural forced caused all hell to break loose there.

The issue with the yurei was seemingly controlled, with their numbers dwindling with every passing moment. Even so, anyone with keen eyes might have been able to make a nigh-formless shadow simply overlooking them from the furthermost point of the warehouse, away from all action even as her eyes burned with hatred.

"You have been warned and you trespassed still. Your reckoning will come soon, for you'll never slay a snake unless you sever all of its heads," the ghost said telepathically, with a voice filled of bitterness reaching all of the Hunters at once.

Before anyone could reach her, the spirit dissolved into wisps of mist, disappearing into the night just as the sirens began to slowly blare on the outside. If any of the Hunters were perceptive enough, they would notice that a few of the yurei they slayed tonight, looked just like some of the corpses on the warehouse.

However, none of them resembled the ominous spirit who left after whispering words of doom...

"Ughh, I surely can't get a moment of peace tonight, can I? I wonder if this is what Aunt Caroline feels every time someone decides to break into her home?" Victoire said to herself as she became keenly aware of the commotion taking place at the roof above her head. The vampire brought a hand up to soothe her temples, casting her gaze on the floor as the stained glass windows of her throne room shattered with the force of the impromptu entrance of a duo of interlopers. Or at least one of them, since the other one appeared to be taking her sweet time making her way down here.

"I would like you to know that we have perfectly serviceable doors the next time you wish to pay a visit," Victoire said in a dry tone, not even bothering to turn her gaze to the intruder. "Skilled craftsmen are a luxury in this realm of dread and devastation, finding someone to do those repairs is going to be a rather difficult task. I'd appreciate if you refrain from damaging any more of my property, little miss thief."

"At any rate, excuse me for my ramblings. What do I owe the pleasure of this meeting to? Is stealing not enough, and now you must threaten the life of the Mistress of this Châteu to fulfill your perversion? Or is it something else that guides your actions?" Victoire concluded, finally turning her crimson gaze towards the intruder.

"How could any thief—erm... adventurer worth their salt resist the allures of an aging old castle like this?" Clair replied as she used her blade as a cane, leaning on it while shooting a knowing look at Garou.

"Hey, I hope you're planning on paying for the ride, y'know," Clair said when Rose suddenly decided to move from Thomas to her. She let Akiko do as she pleased. After all, in the event things went south, it was the spokesperson's job to take responsibility, right? Clair was more than glad to off-load this burden.

"So, now that we have settled this issue, where do we begin our search? I bet a thief would be trying to hide where they are likely to attract the least attention possible. Maybe a basement or the kitchen would be the best place to start? I know I would try to find an underground passage to slip away if I were in their place."

Well, given my lack of other ideas, I guess I'll just take the opportunity to use this as I said I eventually would.
