I've got my last work day today before the summer break. So, I'll have plenty of time to take care of ya'll tomorrow and onward. Don't be afraid to do solo-posts in the story as a way of fleshing out your character's chronicle. That's why we have the Flashback 'feature' in there. I severely geek over everyone's characters and posts, so I will definitely read anything you put up in terms of solo-posts, or 'character lore' posts.

Oh, my mistake.
Anything that is available now, real world. Then, anything 'experimental/futuristic' really comes down to judgement. If it feels too much to you, just run it by me here or a PM. If I read it in the story, I might ask for you to clarify or change it—no big deal. I'm very flexible. A decent guideline is to avoid tech that trivializes the task/mission at hand.

That would be something, wouldn't it? The team defeats him, Mia has a mental breakdown, turns on the group and becomes the last boss. I had that as a plot thing for one of the past iterations of this game. I thought I'd go with something else this time, though.

Maybe, yeah, heh. I've added 'combat' details to the Codex—the last post in that thread. I was going to explain it in a bit more detail once we get to it, but it's fairly uncomplicated for players. Combat situations will always be one or two 'big bad' guys along with cannon fodder enemies, like a swarm of rats around a big rat. You can go wild with the cannon fodder—do as much godmodding and crazy shit as you want. The big bad, however, will be a team effort. You can still do whatever you want to it, but you can't 'kill' it before I indicate that it has been killed by whoever attacked it last. And that's it. There are also some 'game elements' that you can indulge yourself with in the Codex, but it's totally optional.

Chapter 1 is up. Tagging everyone who has a character sheet in the character tab. I will continue Prelude interactions in my next post, through Flashbacks, because this Chapter 1 post would be too long otherwise. I think I covered the essential things in the "Quest Steps" of the Chapter 1 post.
