EARTH 257 - 8:00 AM Nov. 14th, 2021 - the Blue

Angel's Aerie

Cass would be unable to calm Amelia down, but she would be able to fortify her mind; the desire to plot the downfall of Genosha has disappeared, for now at least. Meanwhile, Darcy was thinking more on the problem. "Maybe it has to do with the rate of the file transfer - like how you can sync locally or over a network. Maybe the local sync is faster, since we're now in the Blue where her counterpart is from... But that would mean.... Oh shit... Oh shit oh shit oh shit!" Darcy exclaimed.

"... Amelia's counterpart has to be here," Bonnie finished Darcy's thought. The same country wasn't a good enough of an explanation. She didn't have a good reason as to why Cass hadn't been completely impacted earlier, when facing her own double, besides the notion that maybe they just hadn't been in this reality long enough. But the only thing that made sense to Bonnie was that Amelia's variant had to be there, at the Aerie, somewhere they just couldn't see.

BOOM!

The front entrance's door was kicked down. Bonnie recognized some of the people in the group - she saw Amelia, wearing a smart white and black costume with swirling wind motifs. With her was Captain America, equipped with a jetpack, and a man Bonnie didn't recognize in a white formal suit with a moon symbol on the mask. Next to the Moon-Suit-Man was a woman with gigantic curly hair and golden wings, her costume evocative of Egyptian pharaohs. There was a man next to her, clad in what looked like Greek armor, with gigantic muscles - the jetpack strapped to his back looked almost tiny in comparison.

And lastly, someone who Bonnie had no trouble recognizing at all; someone who they had been sent here to look for - Luminous. She wore a blue and silver version of the classic Scarlet Witch costume, swirling blue orbs of energy in each of her hands. Bonnie couldn't tell if that was their world's Luminous or this world's - it was too hard to say. Physically, the two of them looked identical. And with Luminous' reality warping powers, a costume change was hardly out of the question. She could have stolen her double's place and joined... the Avengers, for some reason. Probably to hide, to trick them, Bonnie decided.

"Just like I said - abnormal energies," Luminous said, gesturing at the assembled group. "I've never seen such a singularly perfect golem replicate - much less a small army of them."

"My hair does look great, doesn't it?" Aero, the Amelia doppleganger, said, staring at her counterpart.

"Oi, mates, I have no bloody idea what's going on here, but I found myself with this lot and they started nattering on about alternate worlds and some asswipe named Doom. Think they're Genoshan spies," Amelia said, walking confidently over towards the newcomers - the Avengers, Guardians of the Blue.

"The clone talks like me, too - this is fucking nuts," Aero complained, sweeping her hand and creating a temporary wind barrier that prevented Amelia from getting much closer.

"Who the bloody hell are you calling the clone, clone?!"

"Any of your gods have insights?" Captain America asked, looking at the Egyptian woman (Scarlet Scarab), the man in the white suit (Mr Knight), and the beefcake (Hercules).

Darcy was about to turn to talk to Destiny, only to notice that Destiny and Mystique were nowhere to be seen. Folly had vanished as well. "Fucking great, cowards!" she whisper-hissed. At least Gambit and Rogue hadn't abandoned them all.

"Those two," Mr. Knight answered Captain America, gesturing at Raynor and Flynn, "are right rotten bastards and could be taught a lesson or two."

"One of them is Pallas' avatar," Hercules said.

"Look, we aren't here to fight you fucking Avengers, we're from another world, our friend is clearly losing her mind, no one is a clone, well, except you, Luminous - you are a clone," Raynor said, annoyed and stressed out of his mind. He knew that nothing was happening to him. But he couldn't deny that it seemed to be happening to everyone around them. And he was beginning to wonder about the Luminous they were facing too - was that the Luminous they had been sent to retrieve? Or just the double from this world?

"We know all about you, son. Those lies aren't going to work on us," Captain America warned, picking up his shield. "I'll ask you all to get on the ground with your hands behind your head just once."

"Ah hell nah, we ain't gonna go down without a fight!" Rogue shouted, before flying straight at Captain America and punching him in the head, knocking him backwards.

Then all hell broke loose.

Jade Cornish

Jade raised an eyebrow, listening into this conversation. It felt like someone was reading off the script for a YouTube video mocking Magneto's forces. These people were almost comical to her. They were listing everything but at the same time just bickering like school children. She couldn't even tell if the emotions in their voice were real or not. It was frustratingly hard to pick up much more on them via deduction, as they just weren't giving her anything. At least, she knew that the information leak was pretty much more or less still as expected. It was hard to be totally secure when there were a million telepaths around - the only way to safely store information with telepaths was to give it to people the telepaths would never bother to psychically frisk.

She looked around the area though, trying to focus on finding a path forward. She had a feeling they were getting pretty much everything they would from these random goons - it felt like they were about to devolve into some sort of pointless argument about things. Besides, they wanted to scout a path to Magneto's base for the assault later and they still hadn't managed to fully do that.

Guinevere Stark

Guin winced slightly, as they came (well, almost) face to face with Sabretooth. He was arguably the worst of the worst left in New York City - not only a mutant supremacist, but a rapist and a murderer as well. He was irredeemable in every sense of the word. As of such, the hairs on the back of Guin's neck stood up slightly and she darted across the street to the next alley with Edus, praying to whoever was out there (Asgard, maybe?) that Sabretooth hadn't picked up their scent. There wasn't much she could do against him - a fight with Sabretooth for her was just a race against the clock, an attempt to stay alive until someone with a better power could do something. And she had no idea how her new squishy wizard friend would do.

At least the wizard had the good sense to hide behind a trash can - hopefully the scent of the garbage would keep them from being seen, er, smelled. Guin crouched down back there with Edus, making herself small. It helped that she had lost a fair bit of weight and was naturally rather petite, barely 5'3" tall. "If he catches us, we have to split up," Guin whispered to Edus. "I'll get him to follow me and you go on." Even if she didn't know what his powers were exactly capable of, his powers had more uses than hers did. And maybe she'd get lucky and manage to body hop as Sabretooth killed her, taking him down with her.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Beach
Skills: Audiokinesis

Nancy honestly didn't care what this boy felt about the entire situation - she didn't even remember what his name was. She stopped and turned around to face him and Zeke. She recognized that he was the Jupiter kid - well, the Zeus kid - but that was about it. She hadn't bothered trying to learn the names of the Greeks. She only knew Zeke's name really as she had befriended her half-brother - she couldn't list off the names of any other Greek child of Apollo. And that had been intentional. Nancy didn't like letting people get close to her. "If you want me to feel sorry for offending you, son of Jupiter, I don't. And I won't," Nancy told Demi sternly, her eyes flashing with anger. "This isn't about you." Technically, it was - Nancy recognized that he had been in the prophecy as well, but she was too deep in her emotions.

She saw Mads come up and Nancy's heart shattered for a moment. It was hard to face her. She had to hope that her father could get Mads a cure - otherwise, Nancy's mind was filled with images of Mads falling into the Pit... and the possibility that she could be lost to them forever. Mads left though, steering the boy off with her. Demetri, apparently. Nancy wasn't going to apologize or anything for not knowing his name. She didn't care that Zeke was dating a boy - despite having been born in the 60s, Nancy had pretty modern opinions on sexuality.

"Would've been fucking nice for you to start off that way, but nah, you had to come in acting like some lovesick drunk nymph. But sure, now that you realize there's actual important information I have to give you, now you'll talk to me like a fucking person," Nancy growled. "I wanted to warn you that you're going to your fucking grave, that that place is going to chew you alive and spit you out and you'll feel like worthless, defiled garbage for the rest of your life - that you'll never scrub it out of your skin, that you're going to be tainted and stained, broken fucking grody ass trash. And the more you're there, the more you're going to feel like you're drowning on your own screams. But you don't need to know that - you're the fucking hero, you're going to ride in there with your boyfriend and it'll be fucking perfect! You'll find the door with the monsters and slay them all and hooray, you'll party and dance and laugh and IT'LL ALL BE SO FUCKING AMAZING!"

Her control over sound had started to go a little haywire now, some of the trees near her on the lakeshore were breaking, leaves were flying off the bushes, and the sand around her was kicking up into little spirals. Nancy was straight up bawling her eyes out at this point. In her head, she wasn't seeing the prophecy. She was relieving a hellish loop of the worst day of her life - the day in the Lotus Hotel and Casino where those men had... had had their... had tried to... Nancy couldn't even complete the sentence - she couldn't name what they had done.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Leda raised an eyebrow, as Cassian explained that his mother had given him that gift. That made her extra interested in what he had done. She knew a few people with powers that didn't exactly match their godly parents - namely, Leda still wasn't sure how some people at camp had the ability to shapeshift, but she didn't say much about it. Cassian didn't strike her as one of those immortals turned mortal, so that ruled out his mother also being a goddess. Maybe she was a witch or something? Or another demigod? "Eww, why would I ever want to be alone with you?" Leda joked.

She rolled her eyes slightly at his whiny pick me attitude at the end. "Your quest will come, mate. I didn't get picked to go on the last one. Been a hot sec since I went on my first quest with Kristin and Zeke. But with how everything seems to be going to hell, I think your number will be called any second. Just practice those cheats while you can and then you can try them out there in the real world, with the real monsters."

Veil & Casper & Sunshine

Location: Various
Skills: Mediumship

The Green Lagoon / the Astral Plane...

"Uh, are those two just... standing there?" Marrow asked, raising an eyebrow as she looked at the nearly motionless forms of Legion and Echo. Sunshine shrugged, but continued to watch out of curiosity.

Meanwhile, in the astral plane, Legion and Harry existed as beings of pure consciousness. Legion grinned, looking at the cascading colors that Harry was putting off, noting the change every few seconds or so - in time with Harry's beating heart. "It's the astral plane. I used to hide here as a kid, when things got too much... Became my special place. Far as I can tell, only telepaths can get in... So it's just the two of us," Legion explained.

"I can make it look however you want, but... I really just wanted to do this," Legion said, glad that Harry had consented to his question, before pulling Harry in for a deep and passionate kiss, Legion's hands placed right above Echo's hips, anchoring himself to the gorgeous Canadian mutant.

Hellfire Manor...

Stacy X raised an eyebrow at James. "Aren't you an omega level healer or something? Can't you just boop him and figure out his medical history? But anyways, if there's any, you'll need to go talk to Doc Nemesis - he would know if anything existed on all the babies on the island," Stacy X said. "But chill, I'll mark down that you took that baby, aaand... good luck and don't fuck it up."

"I got that reference!" Casper blurted, before his mind went back to what James had suggested - the name Daniel. He liked it. It reminded him some of Danny Phantom, a show that he had actually loved growing up despite his fear of ghosts. Danny Boy was also just a cute nickname to say. Dan the Man would be fun. And he didn't think of anything immediately easy to, like, make fun of the name or anything so... "Daniel is fucking perfect, babes - oops, my bad... But, um, if we want a middle name, what about... Elliot?" Casper suggested. His mom's name was Éliette. "Or if you don't like that, then that's totally fine, we don't have to."

Casper was a mama's boy at heart. He smiled again, looking down at the little baby. Baby Daniel was so cute and innocent, the more he looked at him the more paternal feelings arose in Casper. He made a mental note to watch some TikTok videos about parenting whenever he had a chance - he didn't have the attention span for things much longer than a 30 s clip, but he was sure that he would at least pick up some things. And maybe google strategies on how to not swear. That was going to be hard.

"Okay!!" Mongoose squealed to Miranda, before taking Miranda's hand. Miranda would then notice that the texture of Mongoose's skin was different - it was like there were a million tiny little hairs on her hand, giving a sort of weird texture to her, almost similar to the feeling of a lizard's hand. "Byeee Stacy!"

"See ya, kiddo."

Outside the Green Lagoon...

"Good boy. Your mother is going to be so proud of you, Jackie. My spies tell me that Selene is at home right now. Probably watching reality TV or deciding which black dress to wear to the Hellfire Gala. Now, off you pop! Time is ticking. Tick tick tick!"

The Rebuilt House of M...

Fortunately for Magneto, he wore an armored costume at all times - largely to keep people from being able to kill him easily, and as the metal it was threaded with helped him to fly via magnetism. As of such, Zari's blow to his stomach more stun than anything else - the slash didn't penetrate down to the skin, but the force behind the blow did translate, likely forming bruises underneath his costume. "Champion, watch Valkyrie and adapt," Magneto chided. "Your opponent will often not be fair nor kind to you."

He then wanted to test their defensive skills, so Magneto raised his hand - remember, the rebuilt House of M is made almost entirely out of metal, including the furnishings - and created a sort of tornado around himself of chairs, tables, plates, forks, etc etc flying around. This gave him a defensive layer, as to get to him to strike, the girls would have to dodge flying furniture, but also gave Magneto an excellent arsenal to attack.

And so he did, starting off easy - chairs went flying directly at both Andy and Zarina.

Max's Room...

Veil nodded. The hardest part would be getting to New Orleans safely - she didn't say it, but Max's portals tended to be hit or miss. Sometimes, he was fantastically accurate - other times, there was really no telling where they would end up. The spirit box was off and silent now - unless Casper arrived, they wouldn't be getting any further input from Ben. "You go meet with Pixie, we'll track down Casper and see if he knows where exactly Ben was buried," Veil agreed. It was too bad Max couldn't trust Selene - this entire bit of dabbling with necromancy seemed like her area of expertise to Veil.

Max opened a return portal to the Green Lagoon - glancing on through, Veil could see that the lunchtime rush was beginning to arrive. The Blob served up surprisingly good food at the bar - he had really found his calling as a bartender/chef. "Come find us when you can, we'll need a lift to New Orleans," Veil said, and was surprised to feel a bit of fear in the pit of her stomach. It had been so long since any of them had been out in the human world - she had gotten so used to living openly without fear, without having to hide that she was a mutant. It would be strange to going back to having to hide.

Runa Baldurdattir & Guin Stark

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills: Telepathy

Guin had been more or less following the conversation - she was vaguely aware of the Hellfire Club, mostly in its capacity as a posh club for rich assholes to hang out at. She had gone to one of their events when she turned 18, finally old enough to attend, and it hadn't been her scene at all - of course, she hadn't been invited into the secretive Inner Circle, where the actual power of the club rested. Most rich people in the superhero community held familial memberships like the Stark family did - the Braddock family, for instance, had a membership, as did the Worthingtons.

"What should we be prepared for with this organization?" Runa asked. She had never fought the Hellfire Club - she hadn't even really heard of them before today. It seemed like a pesky Midgardian affair, one that didn't interest her too much. She found such things to be beneath her. The Midgardian clubs she was most interested in were those built up around different fashion designers - there was something about Midgardian clothing she found appealing, particularly those articles described as goth.

"Well, they're..." And it was like the wind had been knocked out of Guin. The next thing she knew, she was struggling to breathe. Everything around her felt slightly too bright, slightly too loud - everyone was too close. Guin couldn't find a place to settle her eyes, her eyes darting around the room, as she felt like a caged animal. Her heart was pounding and she began to feel dizzy, not understanding really what was happening to her. "They're..." she tried again. But she couldn't get the words to form - she was terrified.

Hearing Annie slur her words worried her though and Guin focused on that worry, forcing her eyes shut even as her hands were shaking, and trying to dive into Annie's mind. She couldn't focus enough to do it at first, but on the third attempt, she managed to get inside. For whatever reason, Annie wanted to attack them all and leave. And Guin herself was able to name the source of her own panic after a moment - the Defenders, and this second Lance. She could feel through the mental link that there was something wrong with Pietro as well - it all felt so dizzying, so overwhelming.

"Guinevere, are you alright? Annie?" Runa asked, frowning slightly. Her eyes glanced over to Strange. What was affecting her friends? Were they just feeling overwhelmed with the inter-dimensional travel and the strangeness of this new world? "Pietro, Lance, how are you both feeling?" Runa asked. She wondered if perhaps the Midgardian constitution was just weak to such things - Klara and herself were perfectly fine, after all.

Help, Guin squeaked into Pietro's head. She was having a minor panic attack. And it was hard to think or focus through it. "I'm - I'm fine," Guin lied to Runa.

"You know that I know you're lying," Runa said, frowning.

Megan Pendragon

Location: Atlantica
Skills: N/A

Megan was mildly interested with the uncertainty there seemed to be in getting an audience with the Queen and King of this place - she had more or less assumed that Sierra's parents were the rulers here and would likely jump at the chance to reunite with their daughter. Everyone in their group seemed to be the children of royalty or legendary heroes, so Megan had figured it was an honest assumption. But maybe Sierra's parents, if they did rule here, weren't interested in reconnecting with her - maybe they didn't view her as their child, similarly to how Megan was struggling with seeing King Arthur and Queen Guinevere as her parents. Speaking of which, King Arthur was asking her if she had more questions for them.

Megan didn't know how to phrase her question - largely because it was one she had for herself. Were these people she was interested in developing a relationship with? What connection, if any, did she truly have to King Arthur and Queen Guinevere? Was she a Princess of Camelot - or was that a role meant for someone else, designed for someone Megan had never been? Would she have been good at being royalty? "Not at the moment, no," Megan answered Arthur. "None that you can answer, at any rate."

EARTH 257 - 7:50 AM Nov. 14th, 2021 - the Blue

Angel's Aerie

Destiny shifted her gaze (if a blind woman wearing a creepy golden mask could really have a gaze) towards Oliver. She didn't say a single word, holding her head there for what felt like minutes but could have only been seconds, before shifting her "gaze" to look at Raynor. And then finally, back to Oliver once again.

"I'm not really sure - I don't think it's anything to worry about," Bonnie lied to Cass. She hadn't found a good time to really process the subtle changes that had been happening to her ever since they faced the Black Order. There was no denying that by the laws of physics, she should have died in that encounter - and yet, here she was, alive and pregnant in an alternate reality. She found it difficult to really worry and fret over all of that stuff though when she could feel something messing with her mind, her memories not making sense, fracturing and fragmenting almost as if two lives were fighting inside of her for dominance.

Her heart was pounding, the emotional feeling of fear and anxiety waging war against her rational thoughts. She didn't have a logical motivation to kill the Genoshan leaders. But her mind couldn't help but mentally consider the best way to do it - poison, perhaps, while cliché was effective against most mutants not of the Wolverine variety. Metal knives were definitely out. Attacking both at once would be a suicide run - she'd have to isolate them, do it one at a time and...

Bonnie shook her head, drawing on some power she couldn't name, and things gradually began to clear. The feeling faded.

"What do you mean I'm the Amelia from here? I'm the only damn Amelia there is - except for my friend, Amy, but she clearly isn't here right now!" Amelia exclaimed. Wind began to blow around them - everyone with long hair would suddenly have their hair swirling around them. Destiny's robes began to blow slightly and Rogue's hair was a complete mess in the breeze. "Now, you all are going to explain what's going on here, mates, or we're going to have a problem. I don't want to give you a Sydney Send-off but I will do it!"

"Thank you, dear," Destiny said as Mystique handed her a glass of wine, not at all concerned with the angry and confused airbender in the room. Folly rolled her eyes, leaning back slightly on one foot as she got into a defensive posture.

"You think she's being, like, overwritten? Like conflicting versions of a file?" Darcy asked, looking at Niah. Her eyes then widened. "Oh shit oh shit oh shit, if she's being overwritten, then..." Darcy gulped, looking at Flynn and Maria - people she knew in this world would kill humans. "Please try your best to, like, not give into any urges to kill me!"

"Okay, I'm sorry, but that's complete bullshit. If your mind could be overwritten by traveling to another reality, then I would be acting like a prissy little goth girl all the time, crying about how my boyfriend turns green and no one likes my photos on Instagram or whatever," Raynor pointed out. "And Sparky would think she was Lance Banner. But clearly neither of those things are happening, sooo it can't be that. Maybe the Iron left some sort of telepathic Trojan horse in Amelia's head."

"Chère... Gambit don't understand nutin' that's happening right now," Gambit admitted, looking at Rogue who had stopped hitting him with a pillow for a moment.

"That is hardly unusual," Destiny said dryly. She really hated her son-in-law.

"Mama!" Rogue exclaimed. "Ah don't know what's goin' on either, and I ain't an idiot, so neither is Remy!"

"You aren't exactly the brightest mutant out there, dear," Mystique said.

"Seriously? None of you are going to tell me what the bloody hell is happening?!" Amelia exclaimed - the wind was becoming more furious now. Darcy had to squint from the slight pain in her eyes it was causing and Folly had to grip onto a table, as it was becoming enough to begin to slide people backwards.

"... I think Niah is right. I think... I think it might be happening to me, too," Bonnie admitted. "I remember the X-Men killing my parents... I remember some vague details of living in the Iron... Things that should be impossible. I'm French Canadian, not... Iron-ian or whatever the term is."

"The file corruption will become permanent if you stay in our world too long," Destiny then said. "I see that one of you will be overwritten and lost forever. More, if you aren't careful and quick. You will need the aid of a powerful sorcerer - a scarred man with a metal mask - in order to return home."

"...Doom? We need to go to Doom for help? Gee, isn't that convenient," Raynor muttered. [color=d86615]"Love how you just happen to know everything, Irene."

Irene took a sip of wine under her mask. "It is my curse."

Jade Cornish

It wasn't long before they spotted a group of about three or four (even Jade's heightened powers of observation couldn't tell her whether or not that additional fourth person was really there, strangely enough). She found the conversation the group was having about eavesdropping to be rather funny, given that she and Cassandra were eavesdropping in turn. She wasn't surprised to find out that the government's plans had been leaked - the government was rather thick in her opinion. She also wasn't shocked to hear the rather simplistic and obvious plan Magneto's forces had of simply throwing the nukes right back. She did doubt that just any mutant would be capable of throwing back a nuke, but certainly Magneto himself and other heavy hitters could do it.

The individuals they were watching were, as best as she could tell, mid-tier goons. They weren't anything special or noteworthy, but at least seemed to have some intel. She was honestly more curious as to whether or not Magneto's team new a small group had snuck into the city, one of them clad in a gas-mask (which was uncomfortable at this point) in order to avoid breathing in the deadly air. She glanced at Cass, crouched behind the car with her, and Jade shrugged her shoulders - a silent way to communicate "expected", to reassure Cass that the government's plan being spoiled was not a huge loss or surprise.

Guinevere Stark

Guin had technically been a secret agent at one point - despite the fact that she had been sent to more or less stare at the X-Men, a team who probably did need assistance from someone - just someone better than her and Cassandra. The self deprecation stung slightly. If someone more experienced had been sent to assist the X-Men, maybe her family would still be alive - maybe most of New York City would still be there with them, strolling idly down Fifth Avenue without realizing what they had come so close to losing. She would have killed to be a part of that alternate reality, that place in the Multiverse where everything had turned out okay.

All of this was an aside to say - Guin didn't have a 'stealth' skill, but she wasn't too bad at moving silently and unnoticed. She wasn't going to win 'sneakiest mutant' or anything, but she didn't do too bad either. She managed to keep up with Edus and stay near to him, avoiding the critical error of splitting the party... which, she then realized, they had already technically done - oh well.

☀️ Nancy Parker ☀️

Location: Camp Half-blood: Beach
Skills: N/A

Nancy was glad to see the other groups away from her. She didn't want to talk to people right now. She was making an exception for Zeke, as they had become somewhat close, and he deserved to have this information. Nancy pet Joanie's nose, appreciating the intuitive nature of the tiny dragon. She still felt shattered, but slowly, Nancy was pulling the pieces back together. Each breath came a little bit easier. The vividness of the trauma of the Hotel was beginning to dim bit by bit, moment by moment, breath by breath. "I'm okay, girl," she murmured to her dragon.

She then saw Zeke coming up the beach - and she shattered again, realizing that he wasn't alone. She should have asked for Mads and Niah to send him alone. All of her walls and defenses shot up, like a suit of emotional armor had been crafted around her, something that Nancy could hide inside. She stood up from where she had been sitting and remained still, her body tense, her posture rigid - even as she wanted to flip the world off and just leave all of this behind. Nancy's eyes narrowed as Zeke approached, his stance hard and his words cutting.

Fine. He could go fucking die for all I care. "You're going to the - the hotel. With him," her eyes darted to Demetri. "Try not to die," Nancy then turned around and started walking off in a huff, not really knowing what directions she was going or what she had in mind, but she felt like a raw and aching wound. She knew she should've told Zeke more. But with a stranger there, Nancy's guard went up. And this was a prophecy that required her to reflect and dwell on the most traumatic events of her life.

🌈 Leda Storm 🌈

Location: Camp Half-blood: the Arena
Skills: N/A

Leda's eyes widened, as Cassian displayed an ability she hadn't thought him capable of. She almost looked around to see if any Hecate kids were around, getting revenge on her for dumping Rebecca last year. "What the bloody hell..." Leda murmured, fascinated - but also angry to see a sword held in the distance between them. "That's cheating, mate. Impressive. How'd you do it? I doubt Mr. D would toss a power like that to one of his kids," Leda asked. She considered using her superspeed to actually kick him in the ass and send him flying, but they really couldn't spend all day fighting. And a draw or stalemate, Leda supposed, would have to be good enough. She'd need to figure out a way to counter whatever sort of magic tricks he had anyways.

Leda then tossed him back his bow, her sword in its necklace form around her neck. She smirked a bit as Cassian marveled at her speed. "Thanks, I'm the fastest kid of Iris or Hermes here at camp," she boasted - and it wasn't a lie. Leda was the fastest of all her siblings - at least, of the ones she had met. It was possible there was another sibling of hers out in the world who was faster, but Leda sincerely doubted it. And there was no way she could believe a Hermes kid beating her. "Tam's the only one who comes close."

Runa Baldurdattir & Guin Stark

Location: New York City Defenders HQ
Skills: Asgardian Magic

Guin was honestly getting stressed out with all of this yelling. She was normally fine with yelling. Hell, she would join in on the yelling. But the existential weight of the guilt of her counterpart from this world was really weighing down on her. She wanted to take a hot soak in a hot tub, down a bottle of something alcoholic, scream, and live tweet an episode of some terrible TV show - and not necessarily in that order. She wanted to go home and smash random bits and parts together and behold her monstrous creation. She wanted to play with Pietro's hair and tease him about his facial stubble. She didn't want to be here right now, doing this.

"Is there somewhere we can go that's... well, not here? This is honestly stressing me out and making me want a cig," Guin admitted. She rubbed her forehead, pushing her hair up. It was a mannerism she had learned from her dad. He did it too when he was stressed.

"Where? Since most people clearly don't like us, not to mention smoking bad!"

"I know, I'm not stupid," Guin complained. "And that's why I'm asking if there's a place we can go, since I don't know the structure of this place, and I don't feel like digging around in other people's heads right now. Also, seems rude." Guin was clearly a little bit crabby. She was shifting her weight from foot to foot, and scratching now at her wrists, her classic coping mechanisms.

"We also kind of stick out like a sore thumb," Pietro pointed out, since it was kind of hard for most of their group to blend in, though mainly him, since he's got the hair that stands out fairly easily.

"Are there no rooms that we could go chill in?"

Runa, meanwhile, she begun some magick rituals, designed to locate their missing friends. They were almost all together as a group. They were just missing a few of their members. She concentrated on the runes she had pulled previously in the woods to determine locations, closing her eyes and meditating as she began the divination cast. Fortunately, it seemed that their lost, wayward members had all congregated together. That would make things easier for a retrieval. The name of the general location the others were in then came to mind. "Manhattan. They're in a building to the north of us. I don't have a more specific location - Stephen, perhaps if you assisted?"

He was, after all, the Sorcerer Supreme of this world. That ought to give him extreme magical powers and capabilities, access to spells that Runa could not bear to cast. It ought to not be a huge trouble for him to cast a simple location spell on the others, particularly as they were all together in a group. And from there, they could use Stephen's sling ring to open a portal and grab the rest of them, finally reuniting the team into one place, where they could hide until Strange's spell to return them home had completed.
