Here's my first character. Let me know what you think so far.
Name: Patrick Edward "Eddie Cage" Culiar
Age: 59 but stopped aging at 19
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Martial Mage)
Personality: Edward is an arrogant, egotistical and complacent person on the outside but on the inside, he is a kind and peace-loving person who willingly helps strangers and will not hesitate to indulge in some self-deprecation.
After his journey of realization and unlocking of his powers, he still keeps his arrogant persona mostly towards his opponents to throw them off. He is polite, lively and outgoing to his allies.
Appearance: (Still looking for a suitable picture)
Biography: Unknowingly a descendant of a line of mages that combines magic with martial arts, Edward manifested his powers when he was 15 and tried to imitate the impossible techniques in his favorite action movies. With these nearly impossible moves, Ed realized his dream to be a martial arts actor and starred in many an action flick. It took a while before he gained international recognition but soon enough, the award-winning film, 'WA-CHA!', gained much adoration which then made Edward a recognized and famed figure in show business.
Several movies later, Edward's fame has been declining with increasing critiques that his moves in the films were nothing more than stunts and special effects. Ed aimed to gain some fame back and debunk these critiques by traveling around the world and attending formal schooling to show off his talents. It was this journey that he discovered his lineage and fully unlocked his the hidden potential within him.
However, he soon realized he cannot continue his acting career since people will start noticing that he does not age at all. So he retired after a while and embraced the supernatural world, adventuring across worlds and helping out some people like assisting a certain shark escape a very bloody sea. However, he plans to return to showbiz after some time probably under a new name or something.
Abilities/Weapons: Edward is a strong and agile close quarter combatant, showing excellent fighting technique in fights. His most notable power is the ability to propel himself forward and increase the strength of his blows. When Edward uses this power, afterimages of a glowing yellow color are produced. Eddie can augment the power of these glowing attacks which are represented by afterimages of a glowing cerulean color.
In addition to these physical glowing abilities, Eddie also has the ability to launch blasts of bright yellow energy as well.
After unlocking his full potential, Eddie could now launch cerulean 'shadows' of himself at his enemies that do his special attacks though these attacks are weaker. With the arcane knowledge that has been passed down in his lineage, Eddie could now cast spells that include teleportation, summoning powerful chains that could bind even the mightiest of entities and summoning a ball of yellow light that could reveal what was happening in a certain location.
Oh man, I seriously wanted to play as Froze. Can we at least play a canon character that's not from The Gray Garden? If not, I guess I'll just stick to an angel that idolizes Yosafire.
Having ignored the green-armored Cavalier, Jerod and Sordan continued their business until a panicked Mark arrived. "Sordan! Jerod!" He began. "It's Lyn and the others! They're under attack outside of town! You need to come quick!"
Following Mark, Sordan and Jerod arrived to a tense scene. Prince Jarde, Lyn and the others have their arms ready against a group of armored warriors. Judging from the armor designs, it was clear to those aware that these warriors were from Varjo or at least, originated from Varjo. "Varjans. What are they doing here?" Jarde could not help but ask.
"You need not lose your lives today. Just hand us the green-haired girl and we will leave well enough alone." One of the Varjans demanded. Unlike the others, this Varjan had unique armor on him that had the robes of a mage draped over his plates. With a staff in hand, it was safe to assume that this one was a Varjan Warlock or perhaps even a Master Warlock. The magics of Varjo differed from the rest of Arcadia. Instead of summoning the elements to aid in battle, Varjan magic usually catered to the monsters within man.
With the Varjan magician were five Varjan Warriors. However, unlike those encountered in Dragonrage Pass, these ones appeared more elite with armor with ornate designs and larger arms. They also appeared more disciplined and most likely even more adept in combat. Despite being outnumbered by Jarde's side a bit, it did not look like they were outmatched at all. They stood quietly beside the Warlock and merely stared menacingly at their opponents.
"Varjan Champions... These guys aren't messing around with taking Lyn. But let's wonder about that later." Jarde muttered under his breath. "I have a feeling they're not going to leave us alone even if we give Lyn. Does anyone have a plan of attack?"
"Do not make this difficult!" The Varjan Warlock demanded. "Give us the girl and live! Or resist us like fools and die!"
"Unfortunately, everything went downhill for some unknown reason. Now there's a war between the Dwarves and the League. I assume the man was blaming the Ortusians because they were one of the few who would benefit from such a war considering that they're the only ones not present."
"I see. With that kind of premise, I do not blame people from accusing the Ortusians of conspiracy." Yuzu replied. "Who knows? The accusations might be correct in the end." The remark earned some worrying looks from Shade and Emma. "But even if that is true, it is impossible that a common Ortusian would be a part of the plan and thus, there is no reason to accost them."
"Yeah! That's why we're here to investigate and get to the bottom of this!" Emma responded with a cheerful reply. "Also, greetings fellow Hoshidan!"
"To you as well, kinsman!" Yuzu responded favorably. "Let me join you in your quest for the truth!"

Fates Intertwined
The girl group continued their journey to Archanea. Word of the incident in the pass continued to spread although there was still no word of the reaction from either belligerent yet. That only made the current peaceful air even more tense as everyone held their breath as to what would become of Arcadia.
However, all those worries would need to be put aside for now when the group encountered a scene before them. They came upon Anna's group including Jake, Ferrian and an unknown young girl of green hair. They had their backs to a lake of water by a group of Askrian soldiers. "Wait! Isn't that Anna and her group?" Emma pointed out. "Why are they being chased by Askrians? I don't get it."
"Looks like we have blanks to fill in here." Shade commented. "We can't just rush in there or else we might trigger something bad. We need to approach this carefully. Does anyone here have any suggestions?"
"Regarding the throne room, I can't say it's exactly my style, but I can appreciate the amount of work that it was needed to make it. The throne is quite something... It's just a wild guess, but I need to ask... Is this King Joshua's throne? I've been hearing some interesting things about him. He seems to be quite an interesting fellow to talk with..."
"Wow. You REALLY do talk a lot." The man said. "I wouldn't be surprised if you were just a two-bit magician who talks big but can't back it up."
"Anyway, that's not my throne. That's my sister's. She loves being grandiose after all." He finally answered your question as well as indirectly revealing his identity. "The Caldeyron line never really cared for thrones until Leyanne came along. Although, I did take an interest in crafting these chairs. Really challenges the mind." He added.
"Regarding something interesting, hmmm..." Joshua thought for a moment before coming up with an idea. "Aha, I know! I can kill you and have your corpse displayed somewhere in Varjo. Or I could add them to one of my projects. Or I could feed it to our wardogs. Or I could feed it to our North-born warriors. I bet your flesh will be just right for their tastes." He asked you as if you he was just inviting you to a harmless activity. "How is that for interesting? You really need to be more specific if we want to get anywhere."
"No time like the present." Said the armless Ian North.
The two of you began the long walk to Ambran. The trip was uneventful and quiet so far with only passing horses and wagons making noise. Soon, Ian broke the silence. "Say, you're a... Dragon, right?" Your client asked. "Usually, Dragons have all four limbs plus a nice pair of wings. Meanwhile, Wyverns have only two since their wings are their forelimbs. Kind of like you. So I'm all confused." Ian explained.
"Uhh, don't take this wrong okay? I am totally fine with you being a Wyvern and not a Dragon. I'm totally not judging you in any way, shape or form. I fully understand that I need an escort and that it should not matter who is escorting me." Your client droned on. "Also, I will not judge a person by color. Or by his or her gender. Or by his..."
"You are the one who posted that request on the guild, right?"
"Sort of." The man replied. "In a way."
"For sure. I'd never forget someone that looks just like Niel."
"Really now? Is Neil such a special person that you'd remember him in an instant?" The man inquired.
"W-What do you need us to do sir?"
The Neil-lookalike sighed as he stood up from the bonfire and began slowly walking around Freyr and Magnus. "I hear an old nun's making her way from Ambran to a certain Varjan village. She plans on doing missionary work there as well as some preaching for those who need it." The man explained. "As people who are well-acquainted with those lands, I'm sure you know the dangers inherent in that place."
"Why don't you two go meet her in Ambran and... help her out with a few gold coins? She could maybe hire herself a bodyguard with that." The man told you. "Or you can... rob her yourselves. She's got some stuff worth some gold. May as well go to you rather than to some Varjan barbarian, right?"
He then tossed a small pouch of gold at Magnus before returning to the bonfire.
The trip to Ambran was peaceful and uneventful. "You know we're just telling a guy some directions, right?" He remarked to the excited and enthusiastic Eilidh.
Neil then sighed. "Anyway, it's uhh... nice to finally talk to you properly, Eilidh." He began. "I've never... This is my first time meeting a Centaur, you know? I mean, sure I've read about your kind but to... actually meet one. I never expected it. Well, a lot of things have happened to me recently that I never expected." He confessed. "Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you Eilidh. Do you mind telling me more about your kind? If you don't mind me asking..."
He then turned to Ditzy. "And who might you be? Are you a... uhh, what's that word again? Hob... Hob... Hobbit! Yeah! Are you some sort of Hobbit?" He asked. It seems Neil does not have much knowledge regarding monsters.
The three women began their trip to Pravar with Maria's sister, Lily, tagging along. The road was peaceful and quiet but it appeared that they have not met with the Centaur's group even if they were heading the same direction.
It was midday when they arrived in an area with Pravar's walls in the horizon. With Maria and Lily being monsters, it was inadvisable for the group to approach the Order city. Fortunately, their objective indicated the southern outskirts of Pravar in an abandoned church which would be outside the city's walls so there might not be any Pravarian authorities there.
Heading to the southern area, the group then ran into the desolate ruins of a church. It was not the place which once housed Rebecca's faith as it was very much ruined and seemed abandoned for a very long time. The roof was completely gone and only some sections of the wall were standing. There were still wooden floorboards but they appeared they would give way if stepped on.
There the group found an old woman wearing a white dress that appeared to be ceremonial. "Oh! Oh, let me look at you!" She approached Yang and caressed her face. "You remind me of myself back when Peter and I had just met." She remarked. "Have you seen him?" She then asked, probably referring to this Peter person.
"Where is that man? We'll be late for the ceremony!" The woman began panicking. "He must be still in that... Armadillo bar in Ambran. Talking to the musicians. He's such a fine man. Must be making things right for me. As usual." She explained her problem, calming down a bit as she reminisced.
"I-I beg you! Would you possibly go fetch him for me?" The old woman requested. Agitated again. "This was meant to be my perfect day! Please madams! Something must've happened! I can't bear it!" She then began sobbing.
"Is it a problem if I pin this on the billboard? It is, from yesterday's client... Huh, Miss RiƱas invited us all over. I promised to let everyone know..."
"Oh no problem! But I'm afraid everyone has left for today's requests." Bart replied. "Let me see there... Ah, the event's going to be in a few days from now. Well that's a relief." He said as he read the flier. "Looks like it's going to be big. I feel like we need to be all be here." He further remarked.
"We can talk about this with the others later though. What about you, Ars? What are you doing for today?" The guild master asked. "You can catch up with the others in their quests if you want to do some questing. Or you can just sit back and relax for now."
Then both of you hear the entrance doors open and what appeared to be a Harpy-like creature entered. "I gotta handle this. Bye for now, Ars."
After posting your request for materials, you went back to the forge behind the guild building. However, you find that it was occupied by a Cyclops who was already checking the furnace.
Noticing your presence, she turned around to face you. "Oh, hello the--" She froze after seeing you, her one eye widened to stare at you for a few moments. "Wh-Who are you? Are you- Are you some sort of Lizardman?" She then asked. It was becoming clear that this is the first this Cyclops have seen your kind.
You finally arrive at the supposed location of the guild's headquarters. Since that place only had a very notable two-story building of seemingly Dwarven design and material, it was safe to assume that that was the guild headquarters.
After entering through its wooden double doors, you were greeted by a large hall and an orange-haired man. "Well hello there! Welcome to The Guild! And yes, that's the actual name. It's a little confusing but I hope it's all right." He welcomed you. "Are you here to post a request? If so, then there is no need to actually enter the guild or anything. Just write your request on a piece of paper and post it on the request board outside."
"Unless it's something that you can't write because of special circumstances in which case, you can just tell it to any of us here." He continued to explain.
