"Everybody, watch out!"

"Wait, was that Tal-ACK! The hell!?", exclaimed Kira as she, along with her companions, were caught in the middle of several smoke bomb explosions, the area soon becoming clouded and difficult to see through. A brief scuffle was heard from Nero, but no one could do anything due to the lack of vision. So, wanting to clear the air...

"Wind Art: Cloudburst!"

...Kira used her wind magic to create an air shockwave, not enough to blow everyone off their feet, but more than enough to disperse the smoke clouds around them.

"Everyone good?", she asked, checking on her guildmates. She noticed that Nero was now missing. "Just what the hell was that?"

"Damn it, I was too late!" Talia arrived at the scene. "Sorry for disappearing on you guys, but I saw some suspicious behavior from the Kikimora contestant and had to secretly track her down. I found out that she stole the prize for the cooking competition, thatnooneseemedtohavenoticed, and then was gone for a while before here we are."

"Seriously!?", the young Beelzebub replied, shocked. Of all the mamono here, she didn't even think the Kikimora would be the one to doing anything that can cause a stir, let alone cause trouble. "It's just a cooking contest! Why go through this much effort!?"

"Whatever her plan is, it seems to involve kidnapping Sir Nero." Neil voiced his thoughts. "Where do you think they've gone?"

"Since we are witnesses to her deeds, she would probably attempt to leave Boreal Port as soon as possible. We can go to the town's entrance and catch her there." Talia said. "Although, I'm not sure if she would actually be there. Do you guys think we should split up?"

"We also haven't reached our other members yet. Someone should go and tell them about this so we can all work together." Neil suggested.

"I'll go find the others. I'm the fastest one here anyway. You guys worry about getting to the entrance and cutting that Kikimora off. I should probably find Bart as well, let him know what's going on.", the flygirl quickly chimed in, seeing the situation take a turn for the serious. Not wasting anytime to even hear responses, Kira quickly took to the skies to inform the other guild members.

The first stop Kira made was at the archery range where Freyr, Hailey and Sir Reed went off to for the Target Contest. However, as she came in to hover near them, she could see that the rabbit man and Siren were in the middle of a rather peculiar conversation, with the rugged knight standing off rather awkwardly.

"Errr, am I interrupting something? You know what, on second thought, that's not important right now. One of the contestants of the cooking contest has been kidnapped!", Kira quickly informed the trio, cutting to the chase.

Conner & Medusa

Before the conversation could carry on, Conner noticed the professor looking beyond him and saw how the older man's visage fell to that concern and worry. The hooded figured at his side seemed to have also noticed something, for they had stiffened as well. Curious, yet a bit on edge, as to what would elicit such reactions, the young magus turned around to see...

"Ritsuko?", Conner called upon seeing one of his classmates. He had met the redhead on several occasions and had held some rather enjoyable conversations with her, as well as giving the girl some advice on managing one's finances. Poor girl just can't seem to hold on to money for some reason. Standing by her side was her Saber Servant, a young-looking woman wearing lion printed shirt and a skirt....who also had a look of surprise on her face. The 19 year old raised an eyebrow. What was that all about?

At the same time, Medusa had also turned to see the approaching duo, though her reaction was subtly more alerted and guarded as she remained silent and narrowed her eyes at the blonde woman. She had seen and met this Servant before, but she couldn't help but feel like she had seen the woman way before she was summoned in this city.

"I'm just glad glad everything worked themselves out.", Kira said with a big sigh of relief. She really wasn't looking forward to stopping a rampaging Ushi-Oni, two if Yang ended up getting corrupted. Thanks to Nero's interference, it didn't come to that.

Soon after that, Neil and the Altissima sister arrived to join them.

"Hey all!" Neil announced his and the Altissima sisters arrival. "How'd the cooking competition go?"

"It was great! The food was spectacular, but Yang's dish ended up winning it all.", she replied before turning to the Liliurane twins with a smirk. ""You two missed out. Y'all would've definitely been in the running."

Then, at this point, Kira noticed a missing member in their group.

"Hey, did anyone see where Talia went off to?"

The Boy

Name: Conner Griggs
Age: 17
Appearance: This boy lookin' fresh AF!
Personality: To those who don't know him, Conner would most likely come off as "lone wolf". He's quiet, reserved and mostly keeps to himself most of time. Hell, he'll rarely interact with anyone he doesn't know. And he DOES interact with others, he's polite and professional. However, this side of him is known to strangers and the public, in general. To his family and friends(and, by extension, Servants), he is a kind, friendly and intelligent young man. He is also known to be quite observant, seeing things people would usually either dismiss or ignore and noticing moments others have when they think no one is looking. This rather nosy quirk of his was often the source of joking and chagrin to those close to him, the phrase "Conner is always watching." was something he often heard from others throughout his life yet he always took it in stride. Not his fault people are careless about what they're doing around other folks. Conner has also been to be reliable and trustworthy, especially when trouble rears it's ugly head. He knows he's not the strongest or the best, but he's not afraid to do the right thing.
Abilites: As far as mages go, if you asked Conner where ranked among his peers, he'd tell you, "Solid mid-tier", and he wouldn't be lying. His magical circuits(both in terms of quality and number) are decent; Nothing spectacular, but not terrible either. Along his Water affinity and "hit and run" focused set of spells, Conner is quite capable of defending himself in a fight(As long as it's not against a Servant, of course). Additionally, he brings to the table some special equipment. Family heirlooms passed down from generation to generations: The Armis de Superbia.

• Armis de Superbia- A set of magically activated gauntlets and shin-guards. Through a ritual involving the Family Crest be placed on the recipient(in Conner's case, a tattoo in the shape a eagle in center of his chest), these magical artifacts become bound to the wearer and ONLY the wearer. When not activated, they appear as blue colored bracelets and anklets that one carries on their person at all times. However, with a uttering of his aria "Torrent, Course!", the seemingly harmless pieces of jewelry become active, transforming into protective azure colored gauntlets and shin-guards that encase the person's arms and legs in armor, enhancing their physical capabilities and performance. Due to it's nature, the durability and longevity of the armor depends on the the strength of the wearer's soul. Naturally, because of this, Conner is a close range fighting mage.

History: Conner is the eldest of six in the fourth generation of the Griggs magus family. Hailing from a long line engineers and inventors, upon discovering their aptitude for magecraft, the family quickly became acclimated in a world they didn't even think existed. Utilizing the mechanical know-how from their industrious past, the Griggs garnered a reputation of being of producing various magecraft tools and equipment, one of these being their closely-guarded Armis de Superbia. Being the most promising of his generation, Conner has come to Fusang City to learn and further develop his skills as an aspiring mage. At least....that's what his FAMILY wants for him, anyway. As for what Conner wants....well, that's up to HIM now, isn't it?

The Snake

Medusa

Appearance: "She's a pretty snake."
Class: Rider
Personality: Silent, ever watchful and at times....slutry, Medusa never hesitates when it comes to protecting her Master from harm. Even if they treat her terribly, she is always loyal to her Master, willing to put her life on the line if it means ensuring her Master's safety. She's not one to start a conversation, preferring to hang back and observe others and their actions. Never one to act out on anger or instinct, Medusa is can be quite level-headed and rational, even in times of peril.
Stats:

• Strength: B
• Endurance: D
• Agility: A
• Mana: B
• Luck: E
• Noble Phantasm: A+

Class Skills:
Magic Resistance B: Any magical spell, offensive or defensive, ranked B and lower will be nullified.
Independent Action C: Enables Medusa to exist for a couple of days without needing the Master's mana to maintain her.
Riding A+: Any mount, whether it be man-made or animal, is easily mastered in Medusa's hands.
Divinity E-: One's mind, body and spirit are that which are beyond the human realm. Originally being a Earth Mother deity, Medusa is granted protection against mental spells, plus gaining some offensive power. At the rank of E-, though, it's not a lot.
Personal Skills:
Mystic Eyes A+: Medusa's legendary eyes of petrification. Will turn anyone within her sights to stone.... which is why she will only use this skill when absolutely necessary. It's also why she wears a blindfold in her battle uniform(or wear specially made glasses when she's in her casual outfit).
Monstrous Strength B: Increases her overall attack power. It should be very noted to the Master that Medusa MUST be careful to not overtax this particular skill....lest her worst fears be made real and she transforms into her more destructive self...Gorgon.
Blood Fort Andromeda: Blood Temple B: Usually a skill that requires the blood sacrifice of a large group of unfortunate victims, Medusa instead will use a percentage of her Master's mana pool to boost her combat prowess and performance. Due to the rank and demand of this skill, she will use this sparsely.
Noble Phantasm:

• Name: Bellerophon (Bridle of Chivalry)
• Rank: A+
• Type: Anti-Army
• Appearance: "Look at this horse! This horse is amazing!"
• Effects: Using her own blood as a catalyst, Medusa summons the winged horse of legend, Pegasus, to her side to serve as her mount. On her own, she is already a fast and nimble combatant, but when paired with her beloved child, her speed becomes nearly godlike, as well as powerful. This Noble Phantasm can easily devastate a large group of enemies. Pegasus can also serve as a means of transportation for herself and her Master, though she tries not to put that much burden on her dear mount.

Alignment: Chaotic Good (She was NEVER evil to begin with)
Changes: Using the F/GO version of her and her skills, as well as making it so she isn't THAT much of a danger to the general public.

"I don't blame you if you never heard of it. Bone is a largely underrated graphic novel series.", said Conner Griggs as he and his Servant walked out of the book store with their newly gained goods. "It's pretty much the same genre that you like in your books, Medusa."

"Possibly.", softly replied the Rider as she walked beside her Master in her casual grab, which consisted of a long sleeve black sweater, long black jeans, heeled boots and her special glasses. "Though, I'd doubt they would be as much of a.....spectacle."

"Heh, yeah, no kidding. Lord of the Rings is on another level. It's no wonder there's a movie trilogy of it."

As they came up and waited at a crosswalk, Medusa turned her gaze toward her Master, a curious spark in her usually calm eyes.

"There's a movie trilogy?"

Conner looked toward the purple haired beauty, surprise in his eyes before giving off a chuckle.

"Well, I know what I'm gonna show you when we get back home."

So involved in their conversation, Conner didn't notice the approach of a certain former Lord and his assistant from behind. Medusa, however, did and gestured with her head to look behind him.

"Hm?", the 17 year old mumbled as he turned around. Oh, Mr. Velvet."
