Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

“Better he runs around here than anywhere else.” Camphor grumbled, though still wearing her usual tired expression, seemed to perk up a bit. “You sure I couldn’t convince you to be a full time assistant?” Frieda was behind Camphor making an ‘x’ shape with her wrists and shaking her head briefly.

“But to answer your question…well, the easiest place to start is right here. Lots of pokemon consider Byjerlfal their home. Even have some ghost types that hang around at night if you know where to look.” She’d take a swig of the coffee. “But if you're looking for non-urban areas…Route one or two is a good starting place. Route one cuts directly through the nearby forest and straight through to Pines End. Lots of grass and bug types out there. Route two travels along the coast, eventually meeting up with routes four and five at the edge of the Eidda Plains.”

“Uhm, professor, what about that old manor?”

“No. If there’s one thing you guys listen to me on, don’t go into the Winding Wood or that manor. That place is not for novices - its dangerous out there. And if i find out you did and trust me, I will, you’re going to have to deal with a very angry midget scientist and nobody, not even me, wants that.”

“Ah, actually, that reminds me! Its not really marked well on maps since its not a major route but there’s a cave on the beaches of route two. You might be able to find some good pokemon there.” Frieda interjected.

Habitat Forest

The Snivy flinched, giving a small cry of surprise as it was apparently seen. Its tail was quickly pulled behind the tree. A few long silent seconds passed before it poked its head back around, glancing at Richard with a small bit of apparent apprehension before quietly walking out from behind the tree. Richard had no way of knowing this, but the professor had been taking care of each pokemon here herself for quite some time. This Snivy was here, specifically, because it had been the runt of the litter so to speak - having been passed up for a starter time and time again for its seeming shyness.

The Snivy took a few apprehensive steps towards the trainer, hesitantly reaching out and taking the berry it had apparently been munching on earlier and…then offering it instead to Richard, seemingly wanting to share it.

Well, it had been relatively easy all things considered, and it would likely never be this easy again but for now it seemed at least, he had earned this Snivy's trust. Assuming he'd put it into the pokeball shortly afterwards....

looks like meats back on the menu tonight, boys!

I'll try and get a post up in the next day or two
~Claire Blackwood~

@PlatinumSkink

Claire simply gave the lass a look that pretty much said 'are you dumb.' As she stated the obvious joke. She was completely fine exchanging information for now. She had an in to one of the most evil organizations in Isson, and she wasn't about to let that go. Not for...nefarious purposes of course. No, she was more like Crobatman or something, at least that's what she was going to tell herself to make this make sense.

After saying a brief goodbye to the disguised lass, Claire let out a long, tired, drawn out sigh.

"...that was...an adventure alright, wasn't it girl?"

"Raaaal." Ralia agreed, looking up at Claire from where she sat in the girls arms.

"Mngh...you don't think I'm gonna get in over my head do you?"

"Ralts~"

"...you always are going to say that though, aren't you?" Claire said with a light chuckle and a chirp of confirmation from Ralts as Claire moved away from the hideouts entrance. Well at leas the plan of action was...somewhat simple here. Talk to Dunstan again, see if she could get more information out of that guy now that she had some reliable tips against Team Amethyst...but first, she spotted something pretty interesting. Cathia, sitting on a bench not too far away in the middle of town. Now this would be playing with fire...but also might be a good idea. "Hey, girl, stay in your pokeball for a bit." After putting away Ralts, Claire approached the bench, slid right up to Cathia on the bench.

"HEY! You're one of Jaques trainers aren't ya?" She offered a handshake a totally winning irresistible smile to Cathia. "Claire Blackwood. One of Kalmia's trainers. You got a name and can I challenge you to a battle huh, or are them papers more interesting then cute little old me?"

Smooth, heh. Just slid right into her dms without seeming too sus. Nailed it.
Haaselle

Hearing the praise, Haaselle managed a toothy grin, making a rather dramatic bow followed by the sound of a tooting trumpet doing a 'Da-da-dadada~!' sounding victory noise.

"I told you, you wouldn't be disappointed, hehehe! Lovely good that we managed to rescue the children. Such a shame, not all can get rescued..." Haaselle sighed lightly, though didn't elaborate. She was simply happy enough to seemingly get a bit of praise and followed the others back to the tower, humming a light tune to herself. Thankfully it didn't take too long and the boredom didn't quite manage to set in...at least until they arrived and this Xanshan fellow introduced himself. Something about him made Haaselle feel like he'd make a good chair.

His bones, specifically. Was that too macabre? Bones were quite sturdy if treated right...hmm...

"If I ever want someone to act as a chair, I'll be sure to let you know~" She immediately, however, turned to follow Roze. "Roooooze, do I have private quarters yet? Or can you show me to some public washrooms~? Please? Pretty please with a yellow moon on top~?"
Nyla, your friendly neighborhood baker
Temple

Conflicted, was how Nyla felt.

On one hand, she was glad Lady Kyouko was doing well. On the other hand, she was doing well without her. The thought made her tentacles tense in apprehensive worry. Was she unneeded? No that was silly, lady Kyouko always told her how much she was needed and how good she was. Urgh, she was having trouble not just running back over and wrapping Lady Kyouko up in her tendrils and making her see just how useful and correct she was. The outside world was dangerous, there was no need for her out here. Lady Kyouko shouldn't be worried about this pathetic-

Through all of these thoughts, Nyla remained composed as she'd readjust her position slightly, folding her arms in front of her, sliding away from the Glacies and a bit behind Lord Oja.

No.

No. Nyla had a job to do here. She'd look after Lord Oja. That was what Lady Kyouko wanted.

"Lord Oja." Nyla spoke up. "As Lady Kyouko requested me to ensure your saftey...I will be tagging along." There was a definite subtle tone of 'whether you want me to or not' in Nylas voice.
Sorry for the delay on that

I forgetti, but its done now
Sarvok

Why do people always choose violence and cowardice? Strangely though, she was not upset, disappointed or similar like she thought. Oh, there was perhaps a little bit of that there but at the same time...what was this? Some minor bit of...amusement? A slightly odd thought. Oh well, there was a time for reflection later.

For now...

Svarok hefted the spear. She had never really been one for athleticism in her previous life.

All she could do was pray to god for guidance.

She hefted the poison spear over her shoulder, using her other hand as something of a guidance. A small running start. She'd throw her whole body into the throw, sending the spear sailing towards the goblin.

Kaeru & Nyoko

"...nothing here but a little girl." Kaeru responded with a frown. Oh, this didn't sound good. She didn't like this. Maybe it was her feline instincts acting up now but something was causing the fur on her tail to stand on end. While she didn't think this girl was a demon at least, there was a good chance the demon maybe was -

Kaeru's eyes narrowed just slightly.

Did something...move? In the back of the girls tanktop? Well, she'd thank Nyoko for her feline eyes later.

"Weeeelll, if there's not a demon here that means we can all go home and call it a day and we can take a cat-nap?" She'd offer everyone an impish grin. "Maybe the girl can come with us? I need a new galpal to go shopping with. Her tanktop does look a little raggedy~"

“Aha, seems like a handful…” Camphor responded with a mild bit of a tired sounding sigh before turning her attention to the others present. “I’m glad to see your partners are well taken care of, so while the others are getting to know theirs let me say a few things.” The small woman would take a moment to swipe a mug of coffee that Frieda had somehow managed to pull out of somewhere.

“I’ll be frank…once you guys leave here, I don’t care if you actually pursue the whole assistant or habitat discovery stuff.” She’d say, taking a long sip on her coffee. “Ideally you would. You’d get paid and you’d help me out but ultimately since I’ll be tracking all of your pokedex progress and handling your PC boxes between all of you I’ll likely get enough data so no pressure. Just do what you want.”

As Aster clamored up the tree, she could get a pretty good vantage point over most of the habitat. She could see a snivy, for example, fleeing from Richard.

Habitat Forest
@PKMNB0Y

Heading away from the rest of the group and into the habitat proper, Richard would find himself passing through a small grassy area and towards the Habitats south western end towards a the habitats forest. It seemed at least any other pokemon had been cleared out or ushered somewhere else. Had this place not been in a lab, the eerie quietness of the lack of any pokemon or cries would likely be a bit unsettling.

However, it’d also make finding his partner a bit easier.

Following the small cries of a pokemon he’d eventually find his way deeper into the forest, a bit of a secluded area away from everywhere else. Strangely though, as he got closer it fell silent, and all he could hear was something quietly, hurriedly moving away towards a nearby tree...that had a Snivy's tail just barely poking out from the other side of it. A half eaten berry had been discarded not far away.

It seemed as though the snivy was avoiding him...so what did Richard do?

“Move!” Elnith shouted, sprinting out of the beasts immediate area as its body slammed onto the ground in front of it. A blade of light slammed into the side of the beast as it fell, leaving only a comparatively small cut in its hide. Fios blades, too, sunk into the underside of its flesh, but even so - The problem with such a large beast, is that perhaps while it didn’t have the best in terms of offensive power…is that killing it would still be quite the feat. The sheer size of it alone meant that small cuts basically proved almost entirely ineffective against it.

It slammed into the ground, kicking up dust and debris, completely unfazed by the assault from the three of them.

“Tch, that thing ain’t right!” Cecil shouted, having managed to scramble on top of one of the watchtowers the bandits had constructed when no one was looking. “Got it though, boss, its eyes are gonna be out! Just need an angle!”

Even as she spoke, the beast was already rearing back up, but instead of slamming itself back down, smoke billowed from its nostrils as its gullet engorged itself, heat building until it opened its maw, a plume of fire spewing from its maw and coating the area in fire.

They were all going to get burned at this rate, a wave of heat flowing over them and threatening to catch all of them in its wake if they didn’t have some sort of shield.

Elnith, on the other hand, didn’t seem fazed and merely ran towards the creature. A blood red flash of her blade as she grasped it in both hands, swinging it towards the creature. Space warped under its head, a large gash spewed blood from the wound.

The tail thrashed, lashing out. Branches from Luana’s spear breaking slowly losing the resistance she was giving them to its cursed claws. On its side, it could only do so much. Thrash and cry and growl as Ethelred approached, and then -

A sharp shriek as the lanced pierced the creatures skull.

It didn’t immediately die, thrashing harder and of all things, laughing as Ethelreds ice slowly started to work its way across the creature's head, but it noticeably slowed its thrashing. Even its cursed claws couldn’t seem to completely negate the ice from Ethelred, until ice had completely encased the dragons head.

“Hmph.” Before anyone could say anything else, Lonan approached, holding his blade high in the air, bringing it down on the dragon's neck, right above its chest. A clean cut right through it. “No chances with this thing.” He’d say simply, before holding a hand out to Luana. “You injured, Luana?”
