Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

A multitude of sparks flew. The repeated sound of gunshots and explosions, the orbs of fire being denied existence thanks to Eliz’ time crush. Xrael merely smirked, laughing excitedly as her first assault was rendered ineffective.

“Lets see how well you can keep that up, then you runt!” Instead of directing orbs of fire outwards, instead she’d inhale, and breathe outwards, a demonic howl coming from the still engulfed in flames woman, a vortex of crimson colored fire launched itself quickly towards them.

“Noupe!” It was blocked by a blast of corrosive, sickly green liquid from Xivi’s mouth, the two vortexes crashing against each other and dissipating as Xrael’s was suddenly cut short - Katherines’ chain wrapping around her neck.

“Nngh!? A chain!? Restraining me, ahahah? Sorry I’m not into that sort of play!” She laughed, the crimson colored fire engulfing her body eroding the chain just as it was restraining her. Even as it engulfed her body. The one around her neck was already gone, and the ones on her body were also quickly starting to dissolve. She’d have to keep actively restraining her if she wanted to make it, it seemed.

One of her hands was already free, forming another fire, but instead of forming an orb or another vortex, she’d merely aim it at the ground next to her, sending a blast of the crimson fire outward, covering the immediate floor and area in the crimson flame, intent on not letting Eliz put it out quite so easily.

The dolls playing keep away with the idol were for now still not on the demons radar. She seemed content in the belief that they weren’t going to be able to flee so she could take her time dealing with them.

Heading out of the storage facility, something rather odd would happen soon as he was a few steps away.

Richard would be finding himself smacked right in the face by a pokemon. A fletchling, apparently not having been watching where it was going would end up smashing into him, losing its flight path and careening to the ground with a complaining chirp.

“Aw! Hey! Stranger! Stop that pokemon will you!”

A young looking man wearing a black jacket and orange cap would stumble after the fletchling that was quickly getting back to its feet, and preparing to take off again.

Not bothering to reply, Sophie immediately sped off into the museum, excitedly starting to look at the exhibits with her Tyrunt…

“...well someone’s excited.” Lilian chuckled, glancing towards Isla. “Hm…well I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to tell you as long as you promise not to touch the artifacts. Most aren’t ready for display yet.” Lilian shrugged. “They’re stored and currently exhibited in a staff-only part of the museum. Should be much quieter and we can talk there, if you want to follow.”

“Oh, and make sure you keep an eye on your eevee. These exhibits back here are expensive and I don’t want any pawprints or fur on them.” Supposing Ilsa did follow, Lilian would first lead her up a nearby flight of stairs marked ‘staff only’. Opening a door immediately at the top, the noise and bustle from below was already drowned out by the Museum's thick walls, and as they walked, Lilian started speaking.

“First, let me introduce myself properly. Lilian. Archaeologist with the Giervor Society. I was asked to take over a dig after an independent team found some…potentially groundbreaking discoveries. Unfortunately, said team also ended up damaging some of the artifacts with their carelessness.” leading Isla into a room, she’d unlock it and allow them inside. Only the gentle electrical hum of a computer was the only noise here.

The room itself seemed to be full of scientific equipment, a few reference materials and notably a long, sterile table where a number of rock fragments were located. Glass cases and a number of drawers sat pulled open and empty.

“That’s basically it really. We found a new dig with some old stone writings related to some old myths and stories about how the Eidda region was formed. A…colleague damaged the artifacts and made much of it unreadable, so the Society has stepped in to take over…and forgive me for prying but do you have any historical or archaeological experience?”

The damaged artifact in question was laying on the table. The rock fragments had been broken into pieces somehow, it looked like a heavy impact was delivered to the center part of it, breaking it into a number of pieces, though what could exude such a force on an extremely heavy, if weathered stone was up for question.

“He says a wild pokemon did it, but well…we found hammer-like tool marks after a preliminary investigation.”

Upon pushing past the ground and entering the cafe, the duo would be met with a lively scene. Sailors and dock workers from several ships and areas had gathered here, loudly carousing from within doing what one might consider some pretty stereotypical sailor and manly men things. A battle arena had also been setup in the deceptively spacious interior of the cafe, but that wasn’t the main draw currently. No, it was the large screen hanging over it.

It was displaying the current Pokeathalon competition going on Johto. Seems most people here were fans of it, understandable really given the crowd - more importantly though, it seemed it was getting ready to open a Pokeathlon branch in Eidda soon, but the city had yet to be determined.

As they’d walk in though, they’d be greeted by a cheery, friendly waitress.

“Gooood afternoon people! Welcome to Wailords rest! I’m your server this evening.”

“Wobbuffet!” A salute and a friendly greeting from a Wobbuffet standing next to her echoed her friendly greeting.

“Technically, also the only server! And chef! First time here? You don’t look like our usual clientele. We’ve got everything you could want! From hearty fresh sea-food, luscious fresh never frozen greens and I can make you any cake you want! The names Beryl, by the way!”

The only other person to note here, was an Older Gentleman that Ripley would immediately recognize as the Gym Leader of Riven wall - Tuule. He seemed to be enjoying the Pokeathalon quietly from a small booth near the back.

“Eh, she only tosses people out that annoy her, ahaha.” Remi responded with a light chuckle. “So maybe don’t be an ass in the first place, huh? And hey, hey no fighting here unless you want the professor to ban us from the lab for life.” He’d say to Aster, heading out the double doors and heading out. The challenge accepted as Nevine would grumble lightly but go on to accept the challenge as well, glancing at Yuu and frowning, clearly not liking Yuu too much as they’d soon find themselves out in front of the lab, just in front of the pond.

“Alright! Standard rules here!” Remi said. The field was a flat cement field, no fancy tricks and the like would be doable here, not easily anyways from the terrain. “Ready Nevine?”

“No.” She’d sleepily reply, her Slakoth being placed on the floor in front of her.

“That’s the spirit.” Remi responded, releasing his own Cottonnee out onto the field.

“Neeee~!”

“Slaaaa….”

“Alright then, lets get this started! Cottonee start off with Fairy wind on that Riolu!”

“Mmhm…Slakoth…yawn? On the...Aipom.”

The two pokemon immediately…well, Cottonee made to move as Slakoth took much longer than most to even recognize the command it had been given as Cottonee started to whip up mystical wind with its little arms.

Route 1

“Oh great. She should be easy to spot even if you were blind. About my height. Bright red hair.” The woman proceeded to place her hands on her chest. “...Big. Oh, also she’s mute. Got into an accident when we were kids so don’t expect her to talk.” A small pause as she’d pull out her phone again. “Saw her last over closer to the Route Twos side. I don’t think she’d go into the Winding wood, but she’s kind of dumb so…and say if she doesn’t come back I’m not making her favorite food.”

Unless she had anything else to ask, that was all the information the woman had it seemed. This left Camila off to handle the finding on her own now. Heading into the forest, off the beaten path Camila would head off around the outskirts of Byjyerlfal and the forest, the small talk of the few trainers and fishermen soon falling quiet as she’d now be completely among nature, warm sunlight filtering through the trees above and eventually towards Route 2.

As she’d did so, she’d see a few pokemon of route 1 out and about.

She could spend some time catching or otherwise interacting with any of these if she so desired, otherwise she could immediately keep up with her search.

Oooh

okay

She was detecting some character plot there but for now, Claire kept her mouth shut.

"Hmm...humph~" Claire hopped over and gave Cathia a little poke in the side. "What ya getting all gloomy for all of a sudden? Come on, with ya best girl -that's me- helping ya we'll have this cracked and solved in no time. I can't stand people that hurt pokemon, isn't that right girl? And team Amethyst sounds like some bad guys. Ralia gave an affirmative giggle before teleporting to the top of Claire's head. "Jeez why does my head always look like a seat to you?" Claire huffed, frowning lightly before turning back to Cathia. "Right well...Guess I'm off to Bigfjord. Uhm...here, my number." Claire would make sure to give it to Cathia. Wouldn't hurt at least to have some back up on speed dial. "Just call. Or text. We don't even have to talk a lot, but if I'm heading behind enemy lines, gotta make sure I got some good backup, yeah?"

She'd give Cathia a little finger gun.

"Righto, welp, see ya around Cath." And so, Claire would hop on her Mach bike, and proceed to zoom out of Raremine, heading towards Route six.

Game plan? Head to Freecape through Route six and eight. Stop by there for a bit of training and R&R before continuing on through Route 10 and 13 to bigfjord...
fashionably late, but a post is a post.

Svarok frowned.

Hm.

Not quite the answer she was hoping for, but the words rang true enough. How many so called gods were there? How many could be classified as THE actual almighty? Which were false idols? As soon as she was strong enough, as soon as she was able, she was going to find an answer to that question.

"Indeed, lets."

Taking the spoils and various items recently now acquired, Svarok would head back to the campsite, placing the goblins next to the fire to be disassembled, quickly starting to help the others dismantle the goblins.

As she did so, a thought occurred. Surely this could be made just slightly more appetizing? First, Svarok would take one of the goblins femurs, withering the edges down to a sharp point. Next she'd grab one of the goblin hearts and some chunks of its meat and impale them on the sharpened bone, proceeding to start roasting them lightly over the fire.

After a few seconds, she'd crush two of the blue agrep berries and one of the green agrep berries, letting the juices soak both into the heart and the meat before returning it to the fire. Primitive, but it wasn't like she had many cooking options unless they wanted to setup a primitive stove or oven, and she didn't particularly think or feel like the others would appreciate trying to make something more appetizing.

She then turned to Carmina.

"What of a name 'Rogyam?'" A small frown as she'd wait for the heart and meat to roast. "I recall it somewhat being shouted repeatedly by some old orc."

“S-sorry…when dad gets real mad like that he-he…he usually just locks himself in the private vault until he calms down…” The boy replied. “L-last time he didn’t he…w-well he gets really scary…”

The whip-like long metal cords would clang against Lucrecia’s new blessed blade, earning a small squawk of surprise from the demon lord. It was just long enough for Madeline to make a move, slamming the butt of her halberd right into Camio’s chest. A flourish as she’d spin the weapons blade over her head, poised to cleave the demons face right in twain -

“AGH-!”

Madeline screamed in pain, the weapon stopped short from impacting. Metallic spears ripping right through several parts on her body.

“Madeline!”

“Fools, unaware of what I am capable of, I should pity your ignorance.” His voice was deep, rumbling and low. The spell that Cassandre and Madeline had used to temporarily pause the metallic bolts that were his feathers had ceased. He had anchored them into the ground behind them, and instead made them grow back towards him, forming numerous spears which were now impaling Madeline.

“Y-you…bastardo…”

“Haa…looks like I got here just in time - Soul Art: Judgment.” Camio’s eyes widened. Almost imperceptibly to everyone there was a brief image of chains forming around Camio’s body, his body ceasing any movement. “Hmph…lets see…I think this should be appropriate for you, Lord Havershel,” Livia calmly walked past Cassandre and Polina, passing a small wine glass to Lucrecia as she did so. “Soul Art: Conflagrate.”

All at once Camios body erupted into fire - the same colored flame that Lucrecia had seen Livia produce that day her introduction to magic began. He howled, screaming in agony as his entire body burned.

“Now then, Lord Havershel…how about you leave my dates alone-”

“To the…five hells with you, you witch-”

“Hm…why do they always have to be so…masochistic?” Livia raised a single finger, Camio’s body still burning brightly. “Soul art: Fracture.”

Camio’s body exploded. That was the only way to describe it. But not in the literal sense of the word. It was more like all the magic and power in his body simply decided to break all at once, causing the demon lords skin, body, bones and everything to fracture and break.

“D-dad!” The boy in Polina’s arms tried to wiggle free, running over to the now very unconscious demon lord.

“Cassandre, Polina, Lucrecia. You need to get to the infiltration team. If my understanding of the situation is accurate, then Cassandre, they’re going to need you. I’ll stay here and look after the boy and Madeline.”

“Eeeeh? None of that tasteless slop! I crave human flesh!” Xivi harrumphed. “It better be some of that super tasty bread though…what’s the word…garlin? Garmin? Whatever, it better be that!” Xivi rebutted, just to watch Eliz go and run towards Xrael. The other demon looking on with mild disbelief. “OI! Stupid! You’re gonna get killed!” She’d shout after Eliz.

In turn, Xrael smirked, and didn’t seem to put up much of a fight when Eliz tackled her, arms pinned to the ground as Eliz would proclaim her victory.

“Oh, I’m being pinned by a pipsqueak. Whatever will I do.” The demon laughed, far too jovial for this turn of events to be anything bad for it.

“Hey you stupid!” Xivi once more shouted after her. “Our family's trick is ‘Corrosion’ Or decay, whatever the hell you wanna call it! Her fire burns you from the inside out if it touches you!” Xrael smirked up at Eliz as Xivi said this, the demons crimson fire slowly starting to cover the entirety of the possessed womans body!

“Lets see how this pretty shell of yours takes to being burned from the inside out, runt-”

“Yoink!” Before the flames could consume the both of them, Eliz would find herself being yanked by Lyssa, pulling her off the other demon. Xivi seemed mildly surprised that Lyssa had moved quite so fast, but the pink haired maid would toss Eliz a few feet away, coming to a halt next to her. “Waaah…this isn’t good, is it?”

“I can put out any fire she makes.” Xivi responded with a huff. “At least stop it from getting out of hand or spreading to ridiculous levels.” As Xivi spoke, Xrael was getting to her feet, crimson flames engulfing her body, a protective barrier around herself as it would start to also spread from where she was standing.

“Kat you know any spells for this? We just need to...restrain her somehow." Lyssa glanced to the side, seemingly considering something.

“How cute.” The possessed womans tone had taken a much more guttural, savage inflection with a deep, rumbling laugh. “What's the matter, daughter of the scale? Are you going to let a little fire stop you? Are you that weak?” Orbs of crimson flame appeared from Xrael's body, multiplying and expanding before all launching themselves towards the group, exploding into fire upon impact.

The only potential good news from this, however, is that the dolls Katherine dispatched to collect the Idol were seemingly able to unimpeded for now, Xrael completely forgetting about it or simply ignoring it for now.

“Hm…?” The girl glanced up from her phone, a neutral, mostly unreadable expression present on her features. “You make a habit of bothering cute girls or did I look that out of place?” Her tone of voice made it hard to tell if she was joking or not. “Not interested, even if you are kind of cute.” The woman fished a small lollipop out of her jacket pocket, unwrapped it, and proceeded to stuff it in her mouth.

A few long seconds passed as the girl simply stared, a somewhat deadpan expression. Camila got the distinct feeling that whoever this girl was she wasn’t particularly that into having small talk or conversation.

“...hm. Sorry, let me do that again. My partner says I need to try and be more sociable with people.” She sighed after some time, though it was clear she wasn’t particularly into the whole idea. “Actually…you a trainer? Maybe you can find my partner. She wandered off into the forest and I don't feel like walking after her. She's hard to miss.”

"Keep telling yourself that, Cath." Claire smirked, flashing her a grin as Dunstan spoke. "No questions...but uh, here." She'd give Dunstan her number. Might be better to keep in contact some way after all. "Here, call me if you need anything. I'll keep ya informed if I can occasionally but for now probably better if I get to Bigfjord sooner rather than later. Isabella seemed to uh, seemed pretty eager to recruit me and I don't know how I feel about that."

"Rral~"

"Yeah yeah, keep talking you little midget." Claire rolled her eyes, giving Ralia a few pats on the head. "Hey, Cathia?" Claire glanced back at the other girl. "Uh...you seem to know a bit about Isabella, and if I'm gonna do this any information going in might be super useful." A small request. She wondered if Cathia would accept - she had no reason to really trust her, especially after that scuffle but at least they seemed to believe her for now.
