Leaving Steve to become a 'PR' piece. Captain America! 1942 - When Bucky Barnes is captured, Steve leads a one man rescue mission to free him. From those he liberates he forms the Howling Commandos, and finally truly enters the war effort. 1944 - The Howling Commandos, with the help of the Defenders, take the fight to Hydras main base in the alps. Steve goes head to head with Red Skull who's plane crashes in the artic circle, Steve emerges victorious though at a cost as Bucky Barnes is declared M.I.A. 1945 - After the end of the war in Europe, a costly victory, Steve is redeployed to Japan for what will be his most gruelling trials yet. 1945, August - Steve watches, Aghast as the bomb drops on Hiroshima. He abandons his post to help look for survivors, exposing himself to radiation. Despite his healing factory he spends the next four months in quarantine. As the war ends the military decides not to press charges, and offers Steve an honourable discharge. 1946 - Steve marries Peggy Carter. Peggy Carter goes on to help turn the S.S.R into ARGUS. 1950s - As Geo-political tensions mount. S.H.I.E.L.D is formed as the face of the United Nations. A global peacekeeping force. Steve re-enlists, working with several other aging members of the Howling Commandos. 1960s - As tensions mount between the Soviet Union and America, Steve is deployed all over the world to combat super powered assets used by the Soviet Union. Facing off against the Winter Soldier on several occasions. It isn't until '69 that he discovers that the Winter Soldier is his long lost friend, Bucky Barnes. 1970s - Steve attempts to find Bucky, though all the information points to him being back in some form of Cryostasis. Discovering several Hydra cells operating under the control of Baron Von Strucker. He took the fight to them, however Strucker always seemed to avoid capture. 1980s - Strucker and his assets are disbanded, however the Baron manages to escape. 1990s - Soviet Union Crumbles. S.H.I.E.L.D offers assistance to the countries struggling in the aftermath as several unsavoury characters attempt to fill the power vacuum. 2000s Steve Rogers is promoted to Colonel, leading the S.H.I.E.L.D Strategic Response Unit. 2010s - Steve is given command of the first Generation Helicarrier, christened Liberty. Steve Rogers under the Guidance of Director Fury forms the Avengers as a Government Sanctioned counter to the Justice League. 2020s Fury disappears. C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ________________________________________________________________________________________ My Version of Steve is no longer Captain America. Not in any recognisable capacity anyway. He was never trapped in the ice, and so he's continued to grow old and develop with the world. He was there at the foundation of S.H.I.E.L.D, and he's seen his home country at its highs as well as seen it at its lows. He's still the Captain we know and love, believing in helping people, freedom and liberty. He's just a bit more jaded and understands that this isn't entirely how the world works. These days he bears the resemblance of an old man, and in his heart he is. The serum has slowed his aging considerably but not stopped it, despite this while he appears in his 60s he is more than capable of keeping up with a soldier at peak performance half his age. While he is rarely in the field these days it does offer him some form of advantage. In a similar way to @webboysurf is with Peter, I really wanted to build up Steve to be a bit older than we typically see him, and in a role we don't normally see him in. Steves usually on the front lines, but I'm building him to be sitting back sending the Young'uns to their deaths to do the heroics. This is also a more tortured Cap. He married his love Peggy. He's lost her, he's now seeing his daughter grow old and he may lose her before he goes. He's seen countless friends come and go, through combat or old age and the things he's seen the world go through would make any normal man struggle to sleep at night. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) ________________________________________________________________________________________ My goal for Steve is to first and foremost facilitate the other heroes as they go about their duties. Obviously he's going to have a slight bias towards the Avengers, but really I can see him stopping by any hero that wants a companion for a little while. I'm leaving the resolution of Bucky as a mystery. So if someone wants to play him still brainwashed putting Steve on the Hunt, or if someone wants to play him all better then that is also okay. I aim to have him roaming around, with the plot of FINDING DIRECTOR FURY lurking in the background of whatever threats other heroes are facing, while also freeing up much of Caps extensive supporting cast and rogue gallery. If anyone wants to roam with a roamer climb aboard Lady Liberty with her Captain, Colonel America.

It's just that the average ECU citizen isn't really involved in all the shady stuff going on up top, and even many Oligarchs aren't.

Faction: Galactic Alliance Rangers - Separatist Union Aligned.

• Combat Trained: Having been the son of a CIS intelligence officer and a Rebel Operative, he is proficient in short/mid range combat and hand to hand.
• Intelligence Gathering: With the fall of the CIS and the formation of the Empire, Weron used the skills taught to him by his father to destabilise the efforts of the Empire and assist the Rebellion. When the Empire fell he joined the New Separatist Union. Working as an agent throughout the Daala Crisis. Once the Crisis ended he was re-assigned to the Alliance Rangers where he now serves as a Ranger Sergeant aboard the Milky Way.
• Technologically minded: He has grown up around droids. Working on them, maintaining and modifying them. He can repair a B1 Battledroid and have it combat operational in virtually no-time at all. Slicing his way into various systems, while he may be older now his mind is as sharp as ever.
• Psychological Student: Before he went on to become an Intelligence Officer he studied at Reena University and left with a degree in forensic psychology.

Weaknesses:

• Age: Other species can get to his age and still be children. Humanity doesn't offer such luxuries. He's getting old, and slow and he hurts.
• Isolated: There aren't many Separatist Rangers, and there are still some hard feelings between the member states of the Galactic Alliance.
• Poor Social Skills: He's worked as a special forces agent all his life. Mostly with droids. While he understands psychology, it doesn't mean he's good at making friends.

History: Weron was born towards the end of the Clone Wars. His father, a Separatist General aided several of the remaining holdouts who refused to surrender after the Clone Wars came to an end. Weron grew up around conflict and droids. Eventually he would follow in his fathers footsteps, joining one of the many rebel cells that sprung up across the Galaxy.

As a Rebel Agent he specialised in hacking and slicing as well as droid repair, he hunted down crashed Separatist Ships, abandoned factories looking for anything not tidied up by the Galactic Empire. He found himself on Bracca several times scouring old Separatist Ships for any signs of leftover droids. He never quite formed enough to make a substantial army but he used them to great effect for hit and run operations, distractions or simply to harass the Galactic Empire.

He continued on in this role throughout the Galactic Civil War, as his cell joined the Rebel Alliance. Once the New Republic formed, and the Government seemed to be harbouring back to the way it had been before the Clone Wars the New Separatist Union formed and he rejoined his own people. He was active up through the Daala campaign and since the formation of the Galactic Alliance he has become a First Class Lieutenant within the Alliance Rangers. His most recent deployment is aboard the Milky Wy in charge of the Rangers that act as its infantry.

Chaos was in the air by the time the bounty hunters shuttle landed. Old Z-95 fighters and X-Wings from the planets security force roared through the air, as one of the First Order shuttles lifted of the ground it was strafed by bolts, shaking slightly before stabilising. The turret atop it turned to follow the fighters, catching it in the tail it went crashing down to the streets below.

"We don't have time Gal'Tek. Where did you store the information?" The First Order officer approached blaster drawn as the fighters roared overhead, in the distance the unmistakable scream of TIE fighter engines.

"You think I'm just going to hand over the only insurance I've got? No. You get me out of here then you get the chit."

Several of the fighters that had been strafing the drop ships shot off to the sky, in a desperate attempt to stave off the TIE fighters. They were relying on luck and skill more than anything, against the superior fighters.

The officer clicked the safety off the blaster, switched feet and moved himself closer to Gal'Tek. "I'm not playing games here. Give us the information, and come with us and be put to use elsewhere. Live a good life, or die here in the street. Or maybe I'll just let the Rangers get you and let you rot in some Alliance cell."

Gal'Tek chuckled. "They won't stand for this, this'll mean war!"

The officer sighed as he fired a shot at one of the Gal'Teks arms. Gal'Tek screamed in pain, gritting his teeth. "The Alliance wouldn't dare attack due to a rogue operation. This isn't even an Alliance world. We'll manage the politics, don't you worry."

Gal'Tek reached behind him with one of his remaining good hands, activating his communicator to allow Snoata to pinpoint his location. What good was paying a bounty hunter to look after you, when they're not even around?
