This fight's getting a bit busy and confusing. Can somebody break it down?
I'll post tomorrow
It's ok now, as the arcs are over/getting interesting. But yeah, I was not having fun.

Eilidh wasn't out of breath at all, but her face had just as much red in it after Neil's question. "Mo! Absolutely not!...Most of the time. Centaurs can keep themselves under control, barring three circumstances. One, when we're on a post-battle adrenaline rush. Two, when we're drunk. And three, when we're ridden by a man. Most of the civilized monster races are either in control until provoked, or have tricks to keep themselves under control."

When Eilidh heard the roar in the distance, her ears pricked up and she drew her sword. That wasn't too far from the guildhouse! Eilidh ran with the others, not wanting to leave them behind in case there were enemies nearby. She reached the scene, and saw a massive scaled monster girl fighting a group of brigands. The girl wasn't a dragon. Eilidh knew a dragon when she saw one, and this was something else; something she'd never seen before. She had heard terrifying stories of creatures who resided in the island of Zipangu that fit this description, however, and that made her hope she was on their side.

Eilidh raised her sword, let out her war cry, and charged towards the bandits.

Rebecca eyed the body of the old woman. Well, that put paid to the idea that she was a ghost. Even so, this just raised more questions. That's when she spotted the Order guards. And worse; she recognized one of them. They'd definitely recognize her. She pushed the scarves higher up on her face, and hung back. Hopefully, none of the guards would look too closely. This did give her some time to think, however. Why had a living old woman wished to marry a dead man in a derelict church with no ceremony? Did she not know he was dead? And why had she been killed? Was it an assailant, or was it that the guards were not investigating, but in fact had been the ones to kill the woman in the first place? Rebecca doubted that, unless Varjan mindsets has taken hold of her home too, but she couldn't rule it out. If not, why had she been killed? Was the idea to have the ceremony in an abandoned and ignored ruin with no ceremony because she knew she was in danger and wished not to attract attention?

Koizumi Seiko

Seiko was announced as first, and grinned. As he leapt onto the stage with the energy and prescence of an absolute Diva, he took the mic off the stand. "I already know my song. Number 274! Choose it for me!" he declared, as he gestured to one of his teammates and then to the karaoke machine. Before they'd even got up, he had turned away and was facing the audience. "How are we doing? Are we ready for a performance from the Karaoke Diva of Komei Academy?!" His own team were responding with cheers, which created at atmosphere more like a concert than a contest. Even some of Asahi's team found themselves feeling it, though they wouldn't dare cheer.

The song came on (www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuoOEry-Yc4), and Seiko didn't just sing incredibly well, he also danced, and gave off the aura of not a singer, or a dancer, but a performer, and a performer who loved to perform. When he was finished, there were cheers from his side, who'd almost forgotten that this had ever been a contest. Seiko put the mic back on the stand, then turned and winked at Tomoe as he vacated the stage.

Mako Akane

Mako smiled at Jean-luc as he entered the room. Even looking at him and thinking would could have been, she had no regrets on her choice. But now. Now was different. She'd had her fun, lived her dreams, and now had as steady a career as she was likely going to get. Plus she was thirty-eight and the clock was ticking. If he asked again, this time she wouldn't have to think about it. She studied him as he approached. He'd been very attractive when they were young, but attractive guys weren't a rare breed. To have matured so well, and to be so ruggedly handsome to the point where she swore he has improved with age. That was less common. Even so, looks alone didn't mean anything if they weren't charming and a bit of a bad boy. Put simply, Jean-luc was her type.

"Oh, you haven't kept me waiting at all. It's nice to find time to relax," she answered with a handwave, before grinning at him while he looked at her with a rather more serious expression on his face. She was just thinking about how she prided herself on her composure and self-confidence since they last met, when he hit her with another compliment. This one didn't pierce her defences, but it made some cracks. A hint of color rose to her cheeks and she chuckled, before opening her eyes and looking right at him, smiling. She still had that cheeky, foxish look in her eye but she still appeared to be taking things more seriously now. "It could be that my hair's grown, among other things. You've also grown more handsome, in my opinion. You really pull off that 'rugged boss you wish would make you stay behind' look." Though Mako was clearly flirting, it didn't feel desperate. She was calm as a flat sea. It felt more like she was putting the ball back in his court, and trying to make him blush a little too.

"So what if I made them angry? I wasn't just going to sit and let them s-" Eilidh began, before one of the Gobloins suggested that the cause of Eilidh's ire was that she was Neil's mate. To this, Eilidh not only blushed but suddenly turned wild, stamping her hooves, and gripping the hilt of her sword very tight. But she couldn't give in. She promised Bast, and herself, that she would be better than that. If had just been a few days ago, every last Goblin here would have been slaughtered by Eilidh's blade, but now, she was trying to control herself, and to better herself, for she was better than some monster who still obeyed the Demon Lord and gave in to their base urges, like these cursed creatures. Poor Ditzy was completely oblivious to the mounting tensions, however. When Neil sensibly fled, Eiliedh managed to calm herself enough to give Ditzy a very strained smile.

""That's right, Ditzy. It's dinner time, and we have to race back. let's go! I'll be right behind you!"

The Centaur waited for him to leave, before drawing her sword and pointing it menacingly at the Goblins. "Anyone who follows us dies," she threatened, before turning and galloping after Ditzy and Neil.

Rebecca was still in complete confusion, but from what she was actually privy to listen to, the husband was long-dead. Coupled with the woman's disappearance and the state of the church, she had a crazy idea. The fact they were wanted didn't bother her. She was wanted for more heavily punished crimes than assaulting guards.

"Well, Yang," Rebecca started, "The Woman completely vanished. I have been wondering about this, and it might seem crazy, but I have a feeling that the Lady wouldn't mind too much that her husband is dead. In fact, I think she is also dead. I mean, it is awfully queer that an elderly woman wishes to marry a man who died almost one score years ago, in a church that has been derelict for about as long. No thought has been given to wedding preparations, there are no guests..."

I'm really not feeling the current arcs. If it were possible to basically drop out and come back in the next IC day, I'd honestly do that.

Rags was not dissuaded by the bird rolling around in a vain attempt to shake her off, and her powerful limbs locked her body into place as she removed the arrow and tried to stab another, more carefully guided mortal wound. With the bird's movements, it was all she could do to stay on and keep her grip, and she eventually had to stop trying to stab and use the hand with the arrow to grab at the feathers too. This commotion meant she did not see Kryss or her wings.

When the two boys both landed hits on the bird's body, it was distracted from Rang's prescence enough that she could use the window of opportunity to stab at the bird's neck with the arrow, which she did.

"I'm fine," Sora answered. "Rushing you head on wasn't a smart idea but there's not much I can actually do from far away, unlike my father. I want to be the kind of Hero who mainly works in rescue, despite this family expectation on me to join the Sky Knights. I'm just...not very good at fighting. So yeah, no physical injuries from that exercise, but we all made mistakes, ad mine are weighing on me. Oh, that's right. You don't know. It was a draw. Called off because all four of us were unable to compete and all needed medical attention."

Speaking of members of the exercise who needed medical attention, Edith now joined them at the table, blood appendages swirling behind her. Sora pushed her tray away from her and gave her new friend a rather irritated smile. "Hello, Edith. Do you mind putting the blood away while some of us are trying to eat?"
